Reviews for Pacific Hills Banquet & Catering

I am in the process of finding a venue. I was deterred a lot by my friends once I gave them the location. Little did I know how much has changed around the area and how beautiful Pacific Hills actually is! I walked in LAST MINUTE without an appointment (late because of after work traffic), how annoying right?! David made me feel comfortable right away. He knew how tight our budget is and he was willing to work with us. Although I have not made a final decision on which venue to use, I know that Pacific Hills stands out. He made everything inclusive and made me feel like it was done especially for us. Because the decisions of picking the venue are in my parents hands, I hope that we are able to have a wedding here...I will update later on. Also, David was VERY PROMPT at getting back to us and responding to our questions even on his DAY OFF. I look forward to hopefully working with him in the near future.
**UPDATE**
We ended up not using Pacific Hills but I would love to thank David for his time and patience with my and my fiance...It is a wonderful place to have a wedding, it just did not fit with our overall outlook.

**UPDATE**
I highly recommend Pacific Hills!! We had a beautiful wedding in Sept 2008! Everything went so smoothly. Because Pacific Hills was so reasonably priced we were able to spend more money on flowers, entertainment, etc. It is perfect for a budget bride who does not want to compromise on style and/or details!
Pacific Hills did an amazing job helping orchestrate the entire event besides from providing the delicious catering. Tamim was easy to work with and always returned our calls and answered our numerous emails. David also provided wonderful assistance when we were setting up the event the day before. They threw in a lot of 'extras' for us, including satin backdrops for the ceremony and reception, floating candle treatment for our cocktail hall, and plenty of uplights. A huge plus is that we got our amazing wedding cake for free with the package we chose. It was my favorite part of the meal! I have plenty of pictures of the venue so check it out.

Pacific Hills is a fairly new location in Orange County. They are extremely professional and reasonably priced. As soon as we walked in my fiance and I knew we would have our wedding there. The banquet manager showed us a very sleek flash presentation and was very straight forward about pricing. Luckily we also came by on a day of a wedding to see their set up. The location looks exactly like the pictures on the website, which are gorgeous. I'll give an update after our wedding in Sept!

I was a bridesmaids at this venue in Sept. We all stayed at the location the night before, and the rooms all have amazing city view. Best of all, our golfer friends really had a great weekend here.

We recently had our wedding ceremony & reception at Pacific Hills, and LOVED it! David was absolutely wonderful to work with, and made all our wedding dreams come true. He was very helpful with the planning and mindful of our budget. We got great reviews about the food from our guests all night long.

GREAT LOCATION WITH AMAZING SERVICE!
I highly recommend this place. David did an amazing job helping coordinate the entire event! We had alot of personalities in the wedding party and he made sure that everyone was taken care of! His patience and willingness to go the extra mile allowed my Mom to relax and really enjoy the reception! Thanks David - it was a blast!

This venue is by far the best value for your $$$. The coordinator/manager goes out of his way to make your event perfect. He is flexable and extremly knowlegable.

Words cannot express how happy my husband and I are with the choice we made by choosing Pacific Hills to hold your wedding day reception at. Tamim, our coordinator at the venue was absolutely wonderful. He was always prompt in answering all emails and made the day effortless. Pacific Hills offers different types of packages that can suite any bride to be's wedding budget. I got some many compliments on the food from all of my guest. Funny story is that my dad who is so traditional was dead set against my decision with choosing a buffet from the start because he felt that it was not "elegant" enough. After the wedding my dad definitely changed his tune. He told me that the food went above and beyond his expectations and now he even wants my sister to do a buffet dinner for her upcoming wedding next year. We got the most compliments on the appetiters which included cheese and crackers, vegetable eggrolls, and my favorite coconut chicken skewers. Tamim if you read this can you please find a way to sell these at my local grocery store so I can eat them again haha. As for the dinner portion we had three different salads, bread rolls with butter, garlic mash potatoes, seasonal vegetables, creamy champagne chicken, and prime rib. The chicken and prime rib was delicious. Extremely moist and tender. As an added bonus, we hired two extra servers that carved the prime rib and placed them on each of our guest plates which made it very chic and sophisticated. As for the decor, we went with gold chivari chairs, floor length linens, gold chargers, up-lighting, and pipe and drape. For those brides that are wondering what pipe and drape is, it is draping of a white curtain around the perimeter of the room that completely hides the walls. It was absolutely gorgeous! It definitely transformed the ballroom and made the up-lighting that much more special. I was even surprised to see that Tamim added extras to the lobby that night by placing beautiful glass vases with floating candles and votives on the tables. My guest were raving about the entire decor. Overall I am completely satisfied with the level of professionalism and the service that Pacific Hills provides. They truly care about all of their brides and grooms and that is what makes their venue stand out from the rest. The entire night I had a personal staff for my husband and I that made sure we got appetizers and cocktails sent to our bridal room, enough food sent to our sweetheart table, as well as enough champagne in my glass as I was making my rounds to do toast with my guest. My only advice to future brides would be to throughly research your vendors and make the effort to finalize all details with them the week of your wedding. All of my vendors were perfect except my DJ who unfortunately caused me so much stress the day of. My DJ was my husband's friend and he offered his services to us as a wedding present, but I realize now that brides should NEVER choose friends to be a vendor in your wedding. If they are your friends, they should be invited to the wedding and enjoy the day and not be expected to work. Even though we had a little mishap and started late because of our DJ, we did end up making the best of the night. I am still on cloud 9, even 5 days later. My family and friends are still talking about the wedding and thanking us for inviting them to share in such a wonderful experience. Thank you Pacific Hills, we are honored that you let us hold one of the biggest days of our lives at your beautiful venue. Tamim you are the best!!!

Tamim and the Pacific Hills Staff did a great job with our wedding. Our wedding was in October 2011 and we are still receiving compliments on the venue. The food was great and well timed; leaving no room for waiting guests. The venue was available in plenty of time for other vendors to come in and set up such as the flower company. They did a great job with the candy booth, provided uplighting and linens, and even had the cake subcontracted to a wonderful vendor, Cinderella Cakes, and included in the price. My friend who was helping me coordinate the wedding said that Tamim was great to work with. Overall, I loved my experience at Pacific Hills and would recommend to anyone!

Pacific Hills is simply an amazing venue. The coordinator we worked with David was awesome as well. He was very helpful and professional. Cedric and I LOVED every aspect of my wedding especially the food. All of our guest expressed to us how much they enjoyed the hor dourves. My husbands favorite was the beef wellington. Another added bonus is the FREE Parking a plus for everyone!!! Overall we were pleased with our experience at PH and would reccommend everyone check it out :)Cedric & Tiffany White

OMG!!! This location is amazing. We recently had our wedding at this amazing location, and let us just say you can not go wrong here. They helped us plan everything to the last detail. They have the most helpful people at this location (DAVID) he is so great i don't know what i would have done without him. All our guest kept giving up complements on how beautiful the set up was. I highly recommend this venue for any type of a event. They made my wedding day unforgettable!!!

This is a beautiful venue with incredible service. I could not have asked for a better reception, and leading up to it, my coordinator at Pacific Hills, Tamim, was phenomenal- very responsive, always was available to answer questions, very accommodating, and I would recommend this venue to anyone! Love it!!!

My husband and I had the wonderful opportunity to work with Tamim at Pacific Hills. Tamim was very personable from the moment we met him! Though Pacific Hills is in a plaza center, the moment you walk into the venue, you forget about the plaza center. After visiting many other venues in the area, my husband and I KNEW this was the venue for us only a few minutes after walking in. We worked with Tamim over a year before our wedding and booked our venue soon after visiting. I think that because we booked so early on, we didn't get payment reminders, which would have been nice - but we were on time with our payments and everything worked out. Make sure that when you go in for your last meeting before the day of your wedding, you have a vendor list with you, and ask questions of what it is they want you to have prepared. We, unfortunately, weren't as prepared as we could've been because we weren't informed of what to bring with us. The day of was seamless! Tamim was INCREDIBLE with all of our vendors and people coming in early to set up name cards, cutlery, and pictures. Tamim, as the day of coordinator, went above and beyond everything we expected. Things were boxed for us at the end of the night and ready for us to load in the car, even without asking. The venue itself, provides you with upscale lighting, an incredible bakery for the cake, lights that can sync with your dj, day of coordinator (in our case, Tamim), and amazing food (+ more)! My husband and I chose to go with the Platinum served plate package. We went with the filet mignon and the boneless breast of chicken. The food blew us away! Our guests spoke wonders of the venue and the food. It was better than we could've ever asked for. I could not speak more highly of Pacific Hills, Tamim and the rest of the staff. Thank you for making our night unforgettable!

I can’t say enough how satisfied I am with Pacific Hills. I had my wedding there in July and it was awesome. David did a great job making sure everything was set up and he was especially great at helping the wedding go off without a hitch. The venue is amazing with plenty of parking for my guests. We got the package buffet which saved us a lot of money. The cake came with our package and it was created by Cinderella Cakes – it was delish! We fell under our headcount so David upgraded us with a fully hosted bar and other additional goodies. So many guests came up to me during the event and told me it was the best wedding they had ever attended. I’ll never forget our special day thanks to David and Pacific Hills!

Pacific Hills provided us with a wonderful experience. Making the decision to hold our wedding reception at Pacific Hills was the best thing we could have done. Everything turned out just how we imaged it, perfect and beautiful. The service and the food were amazing. We are glad to say that we, along with our guests, were very satisfied with the service that Pacific Hills provided. Thanks to the staff at Pacific Hills.

My husband and I had our wedding and reception at the Pacific Hills Banquet Hall on 7-3-11. From the moment we walked in, we knew that the venue would help us turn our dream into a reality. The courtyard and banquet hall are breathtaking, and the service provided by David (our coordinator) is excellent. David is very detail oriented and makes sure that you not only stay within your budget, but that you maximize the use of every dollar spent! We spent approximately one year planning our wedding; as you can imagine, plans changed constantly. David was extremely patient with us and the venue accommodated our every request. We couldn’t be happier that we chose Pacific Hills Banquet Hall for our big day!

We renewed our wedding vows and had our wedding reception at the Pacific Hills. Our wedding was absolutely everything we expected and more. The venue played a big a part in making it a success with their courteous and attentive service. From the day we booked til the BiG Day, David attended to our every need and concern. Our guest complimented the amazing food, the beautiful venue, and 1st class service. We will forever remember our special day and so glad we hosted our wedding day at an absolutely exceptional place! Thank you David and your staff for helping us make our wedding day a big success & the most memorable!

I am so glad my sister decided to have her wedding at Pacific Hills. I was very impressed with how David handled everything. He was very professional and took care of everything until the end :) I would definitely recommend Pacific Hills to my clients. Great venue with very reasonable packages!!

We had such a positive experience with Pacific Hills for our wedding! We felt that we had the benefit of a reasonably priced wedding without having to sacrifice style or elegance. Amazing customer service, and incredibly competent and helpful event coordinators.

We got married on August 6, 2010 and everything was perfect!! I had a couple friends and my sister who got married at Pacific Hills and they have always gone above and beyond so we decided to have our reception there as well. We could not have asked for more and Tamim worked with us through every step of the way. We gave Tamin all the details of what we wanted and it became EVERYTHING we wanted and more! The entire experience was great and every time we sat down we felt like we were the only people getting married at the venue. The venue itself is SO underrated its ridiculous. By far the best value in all of Orange County! Which is saying a lot.We got SO many compliments on the food, ambience and venue overall it was ridiculous. We could not have been happier with our wedding and we owe a huge thank you to Pacific Hills!

Pacific Hills is very affordable and I like the fact that the whole place is reserved for you. There is more privacy than in a hotel. The food was amazing especially the prime rib!!! 5 stars for the prime rib!! David will provide you with excellent service and will work with your budget. The only thing weird was the location. It seems like it was out of place because it's in a plaza but once you get inside you'll be shocked on how amazing it looks. The plus side of being in a plaza is parking is free and abundant!

Tamim and David are excellent coordinators and the whole facility is beautiful. My husband and I had a short (4 month) engagement and Pacific Hills was the perfect fit for us! They make the process so easy! We had our ceremony and reception at Pacific Hills and Tamim and David were there to make every step as smooth as possible. They can provide everything you need for an amazing wedding, from catering to floral to linens. No need to search around for multiple vendors, Pacific Hills is the one-stop shop! They were extremely helpful and flexible with everything from scheduling our rehearsal to last minute linen color change :) We booked during their open house, so there were some incentives but regardless, their packages are excellent and affordable. We booked their platinum package and fully hosted bar and it was worth every penny! All of our guests had a great time and everyone enjoyed the food. The pasta and chicken dish was delicious! David was there during the whole event and took care of all the details ... I didn't have to worry or think about anything except enjoying my wedding! He even took EXTRA good care of my dad and found me during the reception to hand deliver my slice of cake! The ballroom is beautiful and they make every effort to personalize the venue and ensure that the bride and groom are 100% happy. My husband and I are so glad we found them and would absolutely recommend them!

When Tamim Yusef asked “so what other venues have you looked at?” Arun and I just looked at each other and laughed, we replied “none, this is the first place we have seen.” Tamim was a little surprised, he recommended that we look around. We didn’t. We knew, that this was the place we wanted to have our wedding, this was the place we wanted in our photos, in our memories, this was the place all our family and friends from around the world would gather to celebrate our marriage.
What we loved about this facility from the beginning was the fact that you have the entire beautiful designed and decorated place to yourself on your big day. As we got more information we knew we had found a place that suited our needs. Arun and I were looking to have a wedding that mixed and balanced our Indian roots with our Western upbringings. Tamim understood exactly what we wanted. He took care of the décor, he already had contracts with caterers or an in-house chef, a florist, anything you needed he pretty much had. Trust me, you don’t want to juggle 5 different contracts with 5 different vendors. Pacific Hills facilitates your planning so you can enjoy your big day. They were flexible enough to let us have a very special custom cake made by another bakery, but this was made even sweeter by the surrounding delicious pastries and sweets made by Pacific Hills at our desert station. They were also thrilled to let us incorporate an Elephant for Arun’s baraat!! (An Indian custom that welcomes the groom to the hall in a parade with music and dancing.)
Working with Tamim was a blast! Since Arun and I lived in NY, it was so nice that Tamim was willing to talk to us over the phone/email and we could get a lot done without having to be there. Then when we did meet, he had a full table display ready for us. We had a specific color scheme and vision that Tamim worked really hard to put together. He was ready to incorporate all our ideas, work with my sketches and bring our visions into a reality. I literally came to him with a detailed sketch of the stage area and by the end of it that piece of paper had so many notes it looked like a complicated secret project! But when I saw my sketch turned into reality, I was beyond impressed. Tamim knew exactly what I wanted, worked with me to come to mutual agreements and took charge of some final decision because I trusted him enough at that point to make everything look spectacular.
Although there was a lot of planning, Tamim outdid himself on the day of. The results were beyond our expectations! That room looked gorgeous!! Tamim put it best when he said, “you guys have a million dollar wedding without spending a million dollars.” Thanks to the staff at Pacific Hills we really did have an amazing wedding. Arun and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND working with David and Tamim Yusef. They are attentive, creative, organized and a pleasure to work with. We could not have done better in choosing a place that truly catered to a vision we had of our big day. And now that vision has been made a reality! Our sincere thanks to Tamim and everyone at Pacific Hill.

Due to length restrictions, I really can't fit everything I want to say here, so if you're really interested in knowing more, please feel free to PM me!If I had the opportunity to do it all again, Pacific Hills would be one of the choices I would happily repeat for my wedding. When my husband and I got engaged, the first thing we did was to visit and compare reception sites both in Orange County and Northern California. Pacific Hills will arrange every detail of your wedding if you so choose, from your ceremony, to food, to tables and chairs, tablecloths and napkins. My husband and I were heavily limited on our wedding by budget, and with David's help, we were able to create my dream wedding without having to compromise because of budget. One of the best features of Pacific Hills is customization! We used the platinum package, which basically gives you all of their services at a specific rate, including tables, chairs, basic drinks, tablecloths, napkins, silverware, glasses, china, the wedding cake, cheese and crackers, hors d'eourves, and wine on the tables. We went with the buffet with three entree choices, giving us a total of three salads, three entrees, two sides, and rolls. You aren't able to taste the food before the wedding due to the fact that Pacific Hills makes their own food in large quantities for events only, but I can give you a quick breakdown of what we liked and didn't like. The hors d'eourves were probably what we got the most praise for. We chose the mushroom salad on blinis and the beef wellingtons. There was a huge abundance of hors d'eourves, which I was surprised by, seeing as several weddings I've been to have skimped on hors d'eourves. The chicken breast with the champagne sauce was the biggest hit of the night. The roasted red potatoes were probably the worst, and given another choice I'd probably go with mashed potatoes instead.Onto the service and my personal experience. David was great and was very helpful throughout the entire process. Although we were a bit indecisive at first, David was always patient with us. David consistently worked with us to make our reception exactly what we wanted, even though we were on a budget. Our family makes their own wine, and with the platinum package David allowed us to replace the two bottles of wine on the table provided with two bottles of our own wine, and allowed us to stock the rest at the bar with no corkage fee. The other venue we considered, the Hacienda, wanted to charge us $1,200 in corkage for the same service! On our day, David was there from the moment we arrived til the moment we left, behind the scenes making sure everything ran smoothly. He made sure that my husband and I got to have some hors d'eourves and eat dinner (some brides and grooms are so busy they never get to eat!) Overall, we really enjoyed our wedding at Pacific Hills and would do it all again if we could!

We had a perfect wedding day at Pacific Hills. We really could not have asked for more! David went above and beyond to make sure that our day was amazing. David helped to make our wedding reception enjoyable and beautiful. David worked with our budget from the very beginning. We did not have a huge guest list or a tremendous amount of money, but you would have never have known that because David maximized our dollar to ensure that our day was unforgettable. Do not let the location deceive you. The location is absolutely stunning once you enter. Our friends and family were blown away by the beautiful decor and the romantic feel the reception area gives off. David helped us to create a buffet for our guests that was not on his normal menu. They created an Italian meal that was absolutely delicious!! My new husband and I could not have been more satisfied with the food, it was amazing! Our guests are still raving about the food that we had!! This location provides everything that is needed for an amazing reception. The linens, chiavari chairs, candles and even the cake is all taken care of, we did not have to worry about anything as David took care of it all! I would recommend Pacific Hills to anyone! I would not have changed a thing on that special day, it was perfect!!

I attended a wedding here last Fall.Customer Service: The staff accommodated to all of the guests. They were polished and cordial. I also had an opportunity to meet the manager and he had a very friendly and professional disposition about himself. Just from my observations, I was actually very impressed that he was able to efficiently manage the event while take the time to speak with me and other guests.Location: It was in Laguna Hills (South OC) which is a premier area to hold a venue. The venue itself was absolutely stunning. The decor was exquisite. Tasteful done. Modern but classic. It was obvious that the planners and the bride/groom worked well together to execute every detail of the wedding.. and it came out wonderful. Food: Served in handsome portions, they offered buffet style meals. Of all the weddings I attended that summer, PH undeniably offered the best food. They were not shy with their portions and we came back for thirds! It was the most flavorful and definitely filled me up! The dessert bar and hors d'œuvres were great, too. Entertainment: They chose both a performer (not sure who the guy was) and a DJ who played the best music!! We danced the entire night away. Overall experience: Copacetic. It was the only wedding where we got to stay past 11:00pm. In my opinion, if you pay that much, you should get your moneys worth. Pacific Hills undoubtedly worked wonders for my friends wedding. They had GREAT customer service, GREAT food (LOVE persian food), GREAT entertainment, and the wedding was absolutely beautiful!

My fiance and I were so happy with Pacific Hills as our choice for our ceremony and reception! We worked with David and we very pleased. He listened to everthing we wanted, answered all our questions/concerns, and he even gave us uplighting around the room as a gift! The venue is very beautiful, the service is wonderful, and the staff is the best! Our ceremony and reception ran so smoothly. All of our guests complimented on how beautiful everything was and everyone said the food was delicious! The only reason I gave a 4.5 for flexibility was because we did not get a food tasting because we were having a buffet dinner. However, we were very happy with our choices and the food was great! I would definitely reccomend Pacific Hills to any couple. You will definitely get your money's worth and the service will go above and beyond for your special day!

I was searching high and low for a venue that wasn't tacky, cheesy, or dated. I needed a place that could accomodate a medium to large size party, somewhere where I didn't need to do extra footwork as far as food, beverages and decor went and somewhere that could accomodate an indoor ceremony that wasn't going to look like it was at a convention center. Truly, Pacific Hills was the best find ever. My friends and family were in awe when they walked in to the venue as they had no idea what to expect passed the double doors. It's located in some old school shopping center but that's the best surprise! Once you walk in you never expect what you see. The place is elegant, modern, comfortable and so easily transformed into the wedding style that you want. All of our family and friends raved about how beautiful the wedding "looked" and how much fun they had. Our wedding looked like a million bucks but thanks to David at pac hills, it was really at a fraction of the cost. David had the best vendors as partners, as our centerpieces, food and just overall style was exactly what I wanted and more than I ever imagined. Ladies you have no idea how much easier it is to have a one stop shop for everything! I didn't have to worry about renting anything or dealing with caterers as Pacific Hills offers quality food and decor. We had the Prime Rib and Chicken in Champaign sauce and our guests LOVED it. That was a surprise to me because some of my friends are food snobs. It rained on my wedding and all the guest were thankffull that they didn't have to go anywhere else as the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception were all in one place. It allowed everyone to relax and enjoy the wedding and the atmosphere. We had mariachis that played to the crowd from the stair case in the cocktail area which was beautiful. Being a SUPER detailed person I met with David SEVERAL times to make sure I had what I wanted. He was more than accomodating and even though he said "trust me neomi it will be beautiful" I wasn't really convinced he got what I was saying. To my surprise, he exceeded my expectations. He went above and beyond and truly made the place look amazing for my budget (and I was very strict about my budget). Even my coordinators said the staff at the venue were a dream to work with. All in all regardless of your budget these guys will make it happen for you and give you something elegant and memorable. I can honestly say I had a fantastic wedding at a great price!! Thanks David for all your hard work!
GUEST

let me start by saying David was down right helpful and just easy to work with... me and my wife are both in the military and have a very hectic schedule but David was really flexible. our wedding was held last December 17th 2010 it was raining cats and dogs that night people are late and my wedding singer as well but he kept us calm. The Venue is beautiful it was newly re-modeled new carpet new paint and everything... when we choose the menu for the event David suggested some food of the menu and during the reception after all the stressful things was over and we get to sit and eat I was just blown away by the food specially the chicken breast that was so good and all of our guest told us that the food was really good....I highly suggest this venue specially for people that is on a budget because David can work with you and show you packages that will fit you.... me and my can proudly say that we paid for our wedding ourselves and did not bother to ask anybody for help which is really rewarding and Pacific Hills with David is a part of making our dream wedding come true......

We went to 7 venues from Malibu to Laguna Beach looking for the right venue for our daughter’s wedding. Pacific Hills was our last hope and were really concerned when we were in the parking lot. Once we walked through the front door we knew this was the place; from the beautiful entry way, to the waiting area, and then the ceremony room and ballroom. We purchased the Platinum Wedding Package, which provides quite a bit for a specific price; tables, Chivari chairs, tablecloths, napkins, table settings, wedding cake from Cinderella Cakes, White Glove service for the Hors d'oeurve’s during the cocktail hour - including wine and cheese, and wine on the tables. We paid for a few extras that were worth the extra cost. All during and after the 12/18/11 wedding our guests all raved about the food. The Hors d'oeurves of Vegetable Spring Rolls and Chicken Coconut Skewers were fabulous and the buffet was excellent. We had 3 salads and 2 entrées of chicken bow tie pasta and seasoned sliced roast sirloin with mushrooms. The garlic mashed potatoes and fresh vegetable complimented the meal. Raving about the food is certainly not a regular occurrence at weddings. The service was excellent and they assisted us with anything we needed. They even clean up all wedding items we brought; cake serving, toasting glasses, rhinestones on the cake, and I could go on. Tamim was there from the moment we arrived until the moment we left making sure everything ran smoothly. The champagne in the bridal room was a nice touch.I would suggest more seating in the waiting area for older guest but what was provided was all they had. Keep an eye on when your payments are due and when you have to have your meal selections as follow-up may not be the best. If these are my only negatives this is nothing in the grand scheme of planning a wedding. The overall cost was the most inexpensive venue we looked at and the overall result was outstanding.

I knew from my first meeting with David that this was where I wanted my wedding to be held. Aside form the beautiful decor and free parking, the quality and quantity of whats included in their packages was outstanding. Pacific Hills has so many color choices to choose from so I didn't feel pressured to pick a color based on their options. They were quick to respond to all emails and were very professional. David was polite and understood exactly what I wanted and made it happen. There was a problem with some decor that the florist was to set up but was unable to and David hopped right in like a knight in shining armour and fixed it perfectly! I could not have asked for a better night and a better way to to start this new chapter in my life. Thank you David!

I highly recommend Pacific Hills as a reception and/or party venue. We worked with David who is absolutely meticulous in all that he does for his clients. He answers every question with patience (and I had a whole notebook full of questions), he returns calls promptly, and he treated us with complete respect. The venue - though nestled in a shopping plaza next to the DMV - is absolutely gorgeous inside. Parking is aplenty for guests. Pacific Hills is a one-stop shop for almost all reception needs. Our package included catering, chivari chairs, cascading lights, and a chocolate fountain/fondue. We were happy to find that David generously added more lighting and drapery on the day of the wedding. Our wedding cake (from Cinderella Cakes) was included in our package, which made things that much easier.(If you are a bride who wants to book your own vendors for catering, linens, specialty lighting, cake, etc. - this venue may not be for you. But if you're lazy like how I was, and tired of looking for various vendors and getting recommendations for each of them, Pacific Hills may just work for you.)The one [not completely positive] thing that I'd mention is that if you go with their sit-down menu, you're limited to just one main entree. To get around that, we went with their served buffet, which allowed us to offer our guests 3 different entrees. In the end, however, our guests still enjoyed their meal, and we didn't mind at all not having a sit-down reception.

The coordinator is awesome here, he is very nice and tries to work within your budget. Inside this venue is magnificent it's beautiful and everything looks great. The down fall is outside- the parking lot is within a shopping center that is located near a big lots and the dmv. You woudn't know how pretty the place is until you step inside. The deal of the location of the Laguna Area is pretty good too - depending on the amount of ppl you invite.

This Venue was great. I worked with a coordinator named David. He was extremely helpful and always on top of the to do list. I felt taken care of and reassured by his thorough help and experience. The venue was recently updated with new paint and furniture. It looked awesome on the wedding day and the reception room was awesome! There are various options for all kinds of taste and I was very happy with the decor of the reception. The food was very good and there are great options to choose from. I recommend this venue to weddings that are expecting guests in the high 200-over 300 amount. The place is spacious and accommodates large numbers with room to spare. I had around 315 at the reception and everyone was comfortably seated with plenty of room to get up and walk around as well.Pacific Hills is definitely worth looking into and finding information about for your wedding.

UPDATE-A friend mentioned David's response to me so I figured I would add an update like he had the rest of the brides do to try and save his reputation. David attempted to contact me several times after my post to get me to remove it. He apologized which does not change what happened the day of my wedding & said that they felt bad so they wanted to send me a $100 check. After that they really wanted me to remove my post which seemed like just because they sent me a $100 that I would do so. I honestly told David that I felt like Brides should know the good & bad about Pacific Hills & that I would not be removing my post. He tried to have my post removed and everything..crazy! I hope all of you brides out there find a good venue, but I would suggest looking else where. Please contact me if you any questions about my post or the services I received at Pacific Hills.
The place is beautiful, however it does add up QUICKLY! Everything seemed like a dream come true when we booked here for our wedding which was May 3, 2009. However, after that things started to become sloppy, and just not what we expected. David was a nightmare to get a hold of. My husband & I would have to make lists of questions that we had for him so that when we finally got him on the phone we could get things answered. He basically gave us the cold shoulder because we did not want to use his florist, after we saw a mock setup they provided which was not even the correct colors for our wedding. David actually offered to spray paint the flowers, which was a huge sign that we needed to find someone else for the flowers. Then the day of the wedding we had to ask for what should have been our complimentary champagne. We had extra food due to the fact that people did not show up, and some of my guests noticed so they asked for a piece of chicken and roast beef instead making the choice of just one selection however, numerous guests said they were given a dirty look, and basically denied by the servers. My father in law asked David during the wedding to please bring the food back out for individuals who were arriving late, or just simply wanted seconds but this was never done. I paid $10,000 for a food & beverage minimum but I have no idea where all of that extra food went that night. It would have been nice to have been given the choice of what happened to it. Also, before our wedding was even over David, and his crew were basically giving us the boot. They were packing up all of the my tables (with large trash cans on wheels), and had the lights on while we were still dancing with guests!!! My husband, and I just could not even believe our eyes!!
Overall I would say that the place is very beautiful, but for the money you spend you could probably find a place that will offer you a much better price & way better customer service.
Good luck brides, feel free to message me should you have any questions!
