I recently had my wedding invitations done by Painted Pear. Every single one was handmade with such precision. They did such an amazing job. When I asked for a sample, based on the colors I was looking for and the contemporary type of invitation I wanted, it was like they read my mind. I had them delivered to me in a timely manner and they were beautiful! My friends and family thought I must've paid a fortune for such beautiful, detailed work. But it was actually very economical and fit within our budget we had in mind. No other "handmade" company had as personal a feel when I interviewed them and such a prompt and courteous response.

Carol from Painted Pear designed and made our wedding invitations. She was great to work with. I gave her an idea of what we wanted for design, she showed me several drafts of what she had in mind and we chose from there. They came out beautiful. Simple and elegant at the same time. We were very pleased with our invitation package.

I used Painted Pear twice in the past 6 months for birth announcements and invitations. The quality of the product was exceptional. The selection is large and creative. About Painted Pear
Painted Pear is made up of two long time friends who took different paths came back together to start our own business. Carol is a freelance graphic artist raising two kids. Persefone is a production manager for a private label apparel company. Over the years we've collaborated in many creative projects from family invitations, party planning and announcements to cake decorating.

FAQ for Painted Pear
Timing- 6-8 weeks from initial meeting (4-6 weeks from final approval) All artwork must be approved in writing.
Wedding invitations are usually sent out 6-8 weeks before your wedding.
Showers, Anniversary parties & other events should be sent 1 month prior.
Quantity- Our suggestion is to add 10% to the final quantity. You never know if you missed a guest or had an error in addressing envelopes.
Envelopes- Outer envelope and response envelope included in white or ivory. Special order envelopes range from $1.00-$2.00 per envelope, depending on style. Although we include envelopes in the cost of your invitations, we cannot credit you if you decide not to use ours.
Envelope Printing- Envelope printing is available and recommended for a small fee. We can also stamp envelopes. Invitations will not be fully assembled unless you purchase this package due to the fact that you will need to address and stamp the response cards and insert them in place.
Rush Orders- We offer rush service if our schedule allows for it, please ask for details.
Payment- Payment is accepted via PayPal. Checks and Money Orders are accepted but will add an additional 2 weeks per check to clear.
Additional Items: Also avaialable are coordinating handmade thank you cards, menus, table cards, seating chart, place cards, programs, and gift cards.
Wording can be modified, colors can be changed to suit your theme.
