Palmer Home Bed and Breakfast

The Palmer Home is a beautiful, intimate, and richly historic and makes a back drop that any southern bride would be amazed with. Not only was the ceremony beautiful, but pictures and bridal portraits (taken the day before) at the home were breathtaking. We actually found the Palmer Home as the result of losing our initial venue 5 months before the wedding (we had been planing for a year and half). You can imagine how stressful it can be to try and find a location that close to your wedding date, at a destination location ( we live about 3.5 hours away), in what is probably THE most popular time of the year to be married in Charleston. That said, all things happen for a reason and I know in my heart of hearts that this was where we were meant to get married and I can not be more pleased. We had an indoor wedding in the evening of about 50 people which is about perfect. They have beautiful outdoor gardens that could hold many more for a day time event. The staff is helpful and as a side benefit, they are a fully operational bed and breakfast that you could stay at during your event. That said, other people do stay even during wedding events, but you would never know it as the staff are pro's at managing this! Highly recommended and best of luck to you during your planning!
