Palmetto Pout Make Up Artistry

Desiree was wonderful for my wedding day. She was only suppose to come and do hair for my bridesmaids but I asked her at the last minute if she would be willing to do mine as well. Without even a trial run she gave me the best wedding hair I have ever seen. I can't wait to share pics! Everyone commented on how awesome my hair looked. It also stayed up all night. She is so great and easy to work with. She called me and checked up on me before the wedding to make sure I didn't need anything extra and to just let me know that she was ready and excited to help with my wedding day. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for hair and makeup for their wedding!!!!!!

There were two things I was worried about when my sister asked me to be the maid of honor in her wedding. 1. The toast. 2. How could I possibly make myself look like a maid of honor?! I am a no-make up, t-shirt and jeans kinda girl. The dress and heels only took me so far. Thank goodness for Desiree! She did wonders with my unkept hair and worked miracles with my make up! I am still getting compliments from people on how beautiful I looked that day. I don’t like to spend a lot of time in the spotlight, but it was hard to avoid being looked at and photographed when standing next to the bride all day. I am forever grateful to have had the confidence to make me feel comfortable knowing that my tomboy self didn’t ruin any of my sister’s wedding photos! I only wish Des would have been here a couple of days ago when I had to renew my driver’s license. Could have used some Palmetto Pout magic for THAT photo! :)

Palmetto Pout Make Up Artistry is fantastic! Desiree did my hair and make-up for two engagement photo shoots and both were wonderful experiences. She easily created my requests and even gave me great advice for everyday skin care and hair care. The products she used were high quality and left my skin so smooth. I have very sensitive skin so I am always concerned about putting new products on my face, but I experienced no problems. In fact, her make up kept my skin oil and shine free on two HOT day shoots! I am so satisfied with her work that Desiree is also doing the hair and make up for my wedding in May for me and all my bridesmaids!

Palmetto Pout did hair and makeup for me on my wedding day as well as the hair and makeup for most of my bridesmaids. My hair and makeup was fantastic and I got a ton of compliments. Desiree was scheduled with short notice but was flexible and easy to work with as far as getting a test appointment in. She listened to my requests and recreated exactly what I described to her. She used high quality products on my hair and high quality makeup so I didn't have greasy gross skin. For my bridesmaids I requested that a silk flower be incorporated into their hairdos and she gladly did it. I would recommend her to a friend.
