Panico's Salon

I went to the West Caldwell Panico and Daniela did my hair and Tina did my makeup. I always imagined how I would look on my wedding day, they took that vision and went ABOVE and BEYOND. Daniela had such a gift with styling hair I never knew my hair could produce so much body volume and lasting curl. Tina used Bare Minerals Makeup, MY absolute favorite!!! It lasted all day and my skin had a romantic glow which looked great in my pictures. I have already gone back for more and have sent everyone I know to them.

I had my makeup done with Bare Escentuals at Panico's in Ridgewood. It was very convenient as I had my hair done there also. The makeup artist was responsive to my wishes and desires, and made changes to the makeup that she had applied during the trial. It was pretty expensive, though. But stayed on all day!

My entire bridal party went to Panico salon for their hair and makeup. Everyone was very professional and respectful. The appointments were kept and we left on time.

My hair was done by Elva and she truly replicated a look I had seen in a bridal magazine. I have very curly hair and she kept me natural but classy. My makeup was done by Maryann and she did a phenomenal job. I have another wedding coming up (where I get to attend as a guest) and I plan on going there for hair and makeup.

The actual salon Panico is very upscale, but kind of a nightmare. It is ALWAYS crowded with rich moms and their spoiled daughters, and it is very hectic. The front desk people are snooty and unhelpful. The makeup area is located in a high-traffic area, making it difficult for both the beauticians and the customers to relax.

I had both a trial makeup and hairdo, as well as final makeup and hairdo. I believe my beautician's name was Marin or some such. The trial wasn't great--the makeup was too heavy and made my face flat, and the hair was boring. However, she did listen to what I wanted, because on the final day, she did an absolutely breathtaking job on both my hair and makeup. Even men were commenting on my hair at the wedding, which I've never seen before. It was expensive, and I don't like the salon, but Marin herself was exceptional.

Kim did my hair and she was excellent. We met beforehand to go over and do a trial run. I'd recommend Kim
