I called Monica at Paper Cut Industries near to the last minute and she was cheerful, knowledgeable and was able to produce the final product where I was able to pick up the invitations within 3 days! Whew, she saved me!
Plus, she gave me "goodies" to help with stuffing and mailing the invitations! I was proud to mail out these custom invitations!
I recommend Paper Cut Industries; Monica is a pleasure to work with.
Monica at Paper Cut Industries made my life so much easier! She designed the most beautiful invitations I have ever seen and did it in a very short time. I would definitely tell anyone that is looking for something special and not just your run-of-the-mill invitation to contact Paper Cut Industires!
Monica is an absolute pleasure to work with. She is patient, understands what you are looking for and is an absolute genius when it comes to color and design. I HIGHLY recommend utilizing Paper Cut Industries. I have had so many comments on my gorgeous wedding invitations.
I recently had Monica at Paper Cut design and create my wedding invitations. The overall creative process was seamless if you provide her with the design to copy. Once the copy and creative pieces were approved and full payment was received I received my letterpress wedding invitations. To my HUGE disappointment the invitations were printed off center, the envelopes were addressed crooked and the bows that were tied on the invitations were frayed and uneven. For $25 per invitation this quality of work is unacceptable. In addition myself and my coordinator tried to contact her to resolve the matter and received no response. As all brides know the planning process is extremely stressful and dealing with vendors who take advantage of brides when there in a time crunch situation shows a complete lack of integrity. I would think twice before working with her.
paper cut industries did a great job with my wedding invitations. I definitely recommend their service! Thank you Monica, you did a great job, all my guest loved the invites.
Absolutely loved working with Monica and her team! They were very flexible, creative, and helped coordinated additional printing materials to go along with my DIY fabric invite!!!

About Monica Majors
Founded in 2008 with the mission to create interesting, smart & well-designed invitations, Paper Cut Industries has become a top-notch stationery & design studio. Founder & Creative Director Monica Majors, a graphic designer by
trade, has won several awards for her designs & has been recognized in magazines nationwide. Her work has been featured in magazines such as Real Simple, O Magazine & several International Design Annuals.
The Paper Cut Industries sensibility is proudly distinct, in contrast to the overwhelmingly unvaried & unadventurous style that characterize cookie-cutter design. We contend that many people are savvy enough to appreciate style, craftsmanship, & conceptual thinking, so we strive to meet those ideals. The distinctive Paper Cut Industries voice lends itself to objects of style & quality materials. Though the function of stationery is to communicate, we believe each element should contain equal integrity in quality & design.
Monica Majors is a native Californian and graduated from California State University, Long Beach where she studied Art and Graphic Design. She has always been involved in art and finds a fulfilling balance with business and design. Monica's design work has been recognized in several magazines such as Communication Arts :: 2008 Design Annual, PRINT Magazine :: 2008 Regional Design Annual, HOW Magazine :: 2008 Design Annual, and HOW Magazine :: 2009 International Design Annual.

Since your custom design is from scratch, we can create a stationery set that works within your budget. Signature Collection printing and design packages start at $500 for 100 Invitations with 100 unprinted white envelopes, 100 Reply (RSVP) cards with 100 unprinted white envelopes. How can I see samples of your work?

For locals, we can schedule an consultation meeting. During a consultation, you will have the opportunity to look through some of our printed samples, papers and embellishments. What printing methods do you offer?
We can use a variety of printing methods depending on the design. We utilize flat printing, offset printing, embossing, thermography, foil stamping and letterpress.
Are you environmentally friendly?
We truly want to make every effort we can to work with innovative and sustainable means for a cleaner and happier world. Together with our clients we can work on choosing better alternatives to reduce waste and use fewer chemicals. We work with printers and vendors that feel the same way. They use soy-based inks (which release fewer compounds into the air when drying) for printing and utilize paper that is no less than 30% post consumer recycled fiber. We also do little things like scanning and archiving instead of printing out endless unnecessary papers, we use energy efficient light bulbs, we recycle, and we never let the water run while brushing our teeth! *wink
Can you print two-sided invitations or programs?
Yes! This is actually a great way to utilize paper and take an opportunity to incorporate a bilingual theme.
How soon can we get started designing?
Once a contract is signed and in hand, we require a 50% non-refundable deposit be made to begin work. Typically, we require 4-6 weeks for the entire process depending on the project. Design time usually takes the greater part, printing, calligraphy and assembly also require more time. Always allow ample time to mail invitations and stationery. We also recommend ordering additional invitations and envelopes in case of mistakes or last minute guests.
Can I still work with you if I don’t live in California?
But of course! I have worked with various clients across the US and Canada. With various correspondence we will be in touch the whole way through to completion.
How many invitations/stationery elements should I order?
Paper Cut Industries wants to create a complete and unified look for your event. When all elements are thought out and detailed your guests will truly appreciate it and it will be memorable. Custom options are endless. We can create favor cards, escort cards, maps and rubber stamps specifically for you. We recommend ordering an additional 10% to allow for mistakes or damaged elements.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Paper Cut Industries accepts Paypal and checks.
