Paper Damsels

After looking at many invitation web sites for our wedding invitations, we decided Paper Damsels had the nicest and most extensive selection, in addition to a vast variety of sample verses that we used to create our own wording.

The questions I had and a requirement for a speedy delivery were handled by Michelle Sciberras. After speaking to Michelle on Thursday, July 2/09, I felt confident in 1) submitting my invitation order online that same evening, and 2) that she would be watching for the order to come in.

My invitation order was confirmed, proofed, printed and delivered to me in Vancouver on Thursday, July 9/09 – a ONE WEEK turnaround. We did pay for expedited delivery, but Michelle was on top of things every step of the way, and we received fabulous invitations. Thanks Michelle

I used Paper Damsels for my invitations and I was so impressed with Michelle and her team. I explained to her what I was looking for- a classic pocket style invite with multiple inserts- and she showed me tons of different options. We then went back and forth with various options that she designed. The result was stunning. We actually had people write on their response cards that our invitations were the nicest they had seen. Even the marketing coordinator at our hall called to ask me who had done our invites so she could use them for her upcoming wedding.
Michelle was also great when I called her because I miscounted and needed more invites. She was able to put together a similar (reverse colour scheme) invite for the additional invites I needed.
Overall, I was very happy and impressed with our invitations and would recommend Paper Damsels to any bride.
ps- we had our invites done custom, but she had non-custom options as well.

Very professional people & fantastic custom invitations. It's obvious Paper Damsels are very passionate about their work and it shows in the quality of the final product. Not a large operation, but the turn-around was very good and I feel we had someone working on our invitations who actually cared how they turned out.

The most difficult part of the whole process was picking from the selection of paper/envelope/text/colours.

Price wise it was a pleasant surprise that compared to other places (using cheesy bulk pre-printed invites) that the custom invites from Paper Damsels were about the same price. We also did a limited run in French which wouldn't have been possible with the other guys. We could have spent less, rather than going for pocket envelopes and the extra backing (not to mention the extra postage because of the weight) but it made for a very impressive invite.

We used Paper Damsels for wedding invites our guests have all commented how beautiful they are -like they are right out of a wedding show. We also used them for the bridal shower invitations and they were surprisingly economical - again guests all commented now beautiful they looked.

I wouldn't hesitate to send anyone looking for invitations their way.

I had my invitations done at Paper Damsels. Michelle and her team were very professional in dealing with me as i did not know what i wanted but I knew how much i wanted to spend. they worked with my budget and offered me a few choices. The end product was absolutely incredible. I had guest asking me where I got my invitations from. I also got my menus, programs and seating cards created from them. I would highly recommend Paper Damsels for any type of invitation you need. Michelle was fantastic and had every paper colour you could imagine. I also noticed that the advice that they give you to help you get the best was highly appreciated.

Paper Damsels exceeded my expectations. I first went to Melanie and Michelle to inquire about bridal shower invitations. They were both patient, kind, and very attentive to my "EVERY" question, opinion, suggestion, and request. Impressed by the excellent quality and workmanship of my bridal shower invites i knew right away i had no more shopping around to do and that Paper Damsels would be the place to have my wedding Day invitations and stationary created. We used Paper Damsels for our wedding and my bridal shower invitations (and accessories for the events), and was beyond happy with the experience. I found Paper Damsels online and immediately after meeting Michelle in person, I knew I made the right choice hiring them for the invitations. For both events, Michelle worked extremely hard to create the perfect invitation for us. She was professional and responsive, and yet friendly and fun to work wirh!!! The invitations for my Sex and the City shower were commented on for weeks, thanks to her creativity. And the wedding invitations, programs, menus etc.. helped us creative our dream wedding, matching the theme and colors perfectly! It was a wonderful experience working with Paper Damsels! We have received countless compliments on our invitations. We were given so many different options in terms of invitation style, design, colour, paper, even your envelopes!I was amazed at the end result and they were able to take my vision and execute it exactly as I had imagined. These Women are very creative and have an eye for modern style. They had the most beautiful shimmer paper in pretty much any colour, and different textures too. They were also the only company that didnt charge extra for the shimmery paper envelopes! They can do a completely custom invitation if you so choose. I highly recommend Paperdamsels, you may find a cheaper alternative but you can never compromise on the quality that Paper Damsels can offer. They did a wonderful job for my invitations (both shower and wedding). They work very well with you when it comes to designing your invitation. The turn-around time was very quick and the quality veru good. I recommend them to any bride who wants their invites to be perfect!!

My sister discovered Paper Damsels at a bridal show and I loved the invitations at first sight! Michelle worked with us on our beautiful, custom invitations and were so thrilled with the result we ended up ordering our programs, table/menu cards, placecards and guestlist poster through her as well -- we're so happy to be able to "brand" our wedding with a signature style. Michelle is fabulous and is therefore very busy, but she was great with responding to emails (even at 4am!) and helping us meet our deadlines! My only advice to other brides would be to carefully proofread everything (with multiple sets of eyes) before it goes to print!
