Carrie and Mariah were absoluteky AMAZING! My hair and makeup were the only thing that went right on my wedding day. After getting married outside in the pouring rain, no one could believe how great mine and my bridesmaids' hair and makup still looked! I felt absolutely beautiful on my wedding day, and could not have asked for more amazing girls to do it! I highly recommend Paper Dolls!!

Carrie was AMAZING. I have never felt more beautiful. I told her when I met her that I wanted to be able to see my freckles through my makeup and somehow she did it. She worked quickly and took care of my mom, my MOH and me and the price was very reasonable. She really listened to what I wanted and it looked even better than I imagined it would. The makeup stayed on the whole time, and didnt run or smudge even with wiping tears (of joy!). Hair and makeup still looked great the next morning! My groom's response was "Yowza!"

What wonderful professional ladies - they did exactly what we wanted, suggested other make-up ideas but left the decision up to us. Very responsive to e-mails and were very flexible when we needed to make some changes.

Carrie and her team were amazing! They completely understood the look I wanted with my hair and makeup. Not only was she quick to respond to any email, easy to communicate with, patient with my indecision and so flexible when working with my schedule. She also traveled to me on the day of the wedding and also came to me for my hair and make up trial for my engagement photoshoot. She got my hair and makeup EXACTLY right for our wedding and my engagement shoot- people are still talking about how awesome my hair was! And she made my friends and family look absolutely stunning.

Everything with Carrie and Paper Dolls from start to finish was absolutely fabulous! She took my ideas and made them even better. I received so many compliments on my hair and makeup, as well as on the others in my bridal party. She traveled to me for both my trial and my wedding day, which made my life much easier! I am not from Charleston so I had to rely very heavily on recommendations from our wedding coordinator at A Charleston Bride and Carrie came VERY highly recommended. I came into town for a trial a few months prior and Carrie did such a wonderful job of listening to the look I was going for while offering very helpful suggestions for how to improve upon it. She made me feel very at ease about the whole process and I absolutely felt my best on my wedding day. My bridesmaids also got their hair done and each and every one of them commented on how well she did and how pretty she made them feel. Not only was she prompt, professional, and fun, but she created the most beautiful hair for myself and my bridesmaids. Paper Dolls was wonderful!! Carrie was so professional and her team of two other girls came on site the day of the wedding! They did 10 girls' hair and 6 girls' make up and everyone looked perfect and were very happy with their styles. They were right on time and finished exactly when they were supposed to. Everyone thought their hair was exactly like what they wanted. I would definitely recommend Paper Dolls again. They were professional, skilled, timely, and very sweet to work with!

Paper Dolls Wedding Hair and Makeup, what a wonderful company to work with. Carrie was not only a professional, but truly an artist. She has a fun personality, is easy to chat with, and has very good honest advice regarding wedding hair/makeup and wedding tips. I immediately felt comfortable with her. I was nervous to have my hair done, as I am a picky person, Carrie offered more than one consultation, and we did my hair until it was perfect in my eyes. She even offered to do my hair and makeup for my bachelorette party, free of charge, so I could "test" out the style and makeup. Carrie came to me for the consultations, so I was comfortable in my own home.

The day of was great, she was on time, professional, and did an amazing job. It was exactly as practiced, her timing was perfect, I wasn't done too early, or rushing last minute. My wedding party had beautiful hair as did my mother. All the hair styles lasted through the whole wedding. I even wore my hairstyle to the present opening the next morning.

I completely recommend using Paper Dolls, they are exactly what a bride wishes for!

I feel like 5 stars isn't enough... Carrie was amazing, as was her makeup. I sweat, cried, blew my nose, got kissed, hugged, scratched my face....and even slept and it still looked flawless. For the trial, I wore the make up to my bridal luncheon and that night to my bachlorette party. Day of, I wore it to the wedding then the next day to our goodbye luncheon. I still looked like a porcelain doll after ALL of that! I felt like a movie star..... and she was SO professional. Thank you so so much!!

Carrie and her team were amazing! I can't say enough good things about them. From making the appointment to scheduling the trial run Carrie was always very responsive, always flexible and always pleasant! As you will know as you get towards the end of planning your wedding, not all vendors are easy to work with and Carrie was someone I never had to worry about. She came out to the beach house we rented for the trial run and for the day of the wedding which was so much more relaxing than having to get my enterage to a salon. She was running a few minutes behind for one of our appointments and instead of just being a bit late, she called me BEFORE our appointment time to let me know so that I wouldn't worry.

As for the services themselves... I was thrilled! We all looked like ourselves, but better (do the airbrushed make up!). My groom said I looked like an angel and my MOH said she looked better for my wedding than she did her own! Again, Carrie was open and wanted us to be honest with her about what we liked, didn't like, etc. because, as she said, it was our hair and make up not hers - and the results were fantastic.

My only regret is that I didn't get to spend more time with Carrie. She was so sweet and down to earth and a real pleasure to work with... and that's something you really want on your wedding day... the memories of how fun and relaxed the getting ready was... not any hassles or headaches with hair and make up.

Carrie was so great to work with - she was very laid back and put me right at ease. She listened to all of my hair and makeup ideas, and the finished product was absolutely perfect!!! She was able to capture everything I envisioned to look like on my wedding day, and she also made my bridesmaids look gorgeous!! She was professional, punctual, organized, and she's extremely talented. In addition to all of this, she did not charge extra to go onsite, which was a huge deal for me. Her prices are VERY reasonable.....you get a lot more than what you pay for with Paper Dolls. I'd recommend them to everyone needing hair and makeup for their wedding!!!

It would have been silly to go to a salon, when I had someone like Carrie come right to me and give me a movie star treatment. I have never felt so beautiful, or actually believed it when people said I was! She did a great job with airbrushing and selecting the right eye and lip colors for me!

Carrie was fantastic. Got the "gist" of what I wanted, was a calming presence, and even re-arranged her schedule for me on the day-of. You can tell by the way she handles hair and is able to be creative and flexible that she *knows* what she's doing. I'd recommend her to anyone!

Carrie was absolutely fabulous. She did my hair and make up for my October 8 wedding day as well as hair for my mom and one of my bridesmaids. She is very creative, and she really listened to what I wanted. She did a wonderful job making my "vision" a reality. She is also very accommodating. After the trial run we did before my bridal portraits, I decided I wanted longer false lashes and a different type of eyeliner. She went out and separately purchased those before my wedding. I also loved the airbrush make up that she used on me. It lasted all day and didn't smudge or rub off on any of my clothes.

I planned a destination wedding and I was worried that I would not be able to find someone in the area I trusted to do my wedding hair. That was until I met Carrie! She came highly recommended and right away I knew she was the one. Upon meeting Carrie I was blown away by her professionalism and passion for her career. Carrie was great to work with! I planned a destination wedding in Charleston, SC from Wisconsin. She got right back to me when I sent emails to her. She was flexible in that she did my trial run the day before the wedding since we didn't arrive in Sc until the Wednesday before the wedding. She came to me which was very helpful and eliminated a lot of stress! My trial run went great, she styled my hair a little different for my rehearsal, it was beautiful! I got many compliments on it! On my wedding day, she also came to me and was more than happy to do hair for as many girls as I needed. My hair was beautiful and I loved that I didn't have to worry about it all day, it stayed in place even after dancing many hours! I am really happy I chose Carrie to do my hair!
