Reviews for Paper Source
We ordered invitation paper and favor boxes online. The items came exactly as advertised and packaged very carefully. I love that paper source has a bulk order discount! They also have deals and specials - which comes in handy! Subscribe to their email list to be in the know!
I have never been to a Paper Source until I began planning my wedding. I quickly fell in love with this shop. It's a great place to browse for ideas. What I love, is that the shop does not feel like a chain store. I have only visited the Pasadena store, though.
We had an excellent experience at Paper Source in Berkeley. The staff was very helpful and helped us pick out the best paper for our invitations. She showed us how to emboss with a demo and gave us tips on printing. They were not pushy or rude, which was nice for us since we aren't very crafty. We left with paper for 100 invitations (envelopes, paper, reply cards, reply envelopes), three ink stamps and a card box for under $175.
I will definitely be going back as my craft skills grow!
My husband and I made our own programs, menus, place cards and a few other things. Paper Source allowed us to do all this for about $200 and the quality was exceptional. We had guests asking where we ordered our place cards, etc and they were shocked when the found out they were homemade. If there is a store by you, take advantage if you have the time. We saved a ton of money and the end result was just what we wanted.
Although I ultimately did not buy paper goods at Paper Source for my invitations, they are a great place to think of ideas. I got my wedding inspiration there. I did buy their stamps which are great ways to personalize your invitations.
We got paper mache letters with our monogram for the cake table. Love it!
We used Paper Source for the printouts for our name cards and menu. They had a great selection of papers that matched perfectly in color. I could be more happier. I was lucky too that I got a deal since they had a weekly special going on at the time!
I love, love, love Paper Source! They have every color you can think of and all of the staff is very helpful and friendly. Even when the store was about to close, they didn't try to kick me out. It's helpful that they also have a book of sample invitations so that you can pull ideas if you have no idea where to start.
What can I say, I'm pretty picky when it comes to picking out invitations. Many of the expensive invitations out there either had too much going on or not enough. I simply chose different aspects and made all of the invitations by hand. You can personalize your invitations by adding embellishments like stamps, glitter, cute buttons etc..
If your buying 10 packages of the same item you get 10% off, 25 packs 20% off, 50 packs 30% off.
Just make sure if you are making a large quantity like I did, start a few months ahead of time. It is very time consuming.
We had such a good experience here. Give them an idea of what you want and they can give you exactly that or persuade you to go a completely different route.
I got samples from paper source then picked my colors, ordered my pocket folds and did the invitations myself. The colors were gorgeous and we went with a bright red! Everybody loved them and I was very pleased with paper source’s customer service. They are very helpful.
We made all of our wedding invitations by hand, and purchased some of our supplies from Paper Source in Berkeley. We went with a really non-traditional invitation made up of business cards tucked into a sheet of gauzy white paper on top of a colored sheet of card stock, which I purchased from Paper Source. I was also able to find a really nice "double happiness" stamp that we used for our return address label design.
The store is fun to wander around in and get ideas. I'm very price-conscious and my only problem with the store is that I couldn't fit some of the cool stuff they have, like envelopes or custom services, into my particular budget. However, the quality is very good, the staff is pretty friendly, and the store is great to explore.
I used Paper Source for various note cards and also for our response card envelopes, once we found out we were moving to Paris and had to have our response cards sent elsewhere. They really have the best prices I've found, and my maid of honor said she also chose to use them for the bridal shower invitations, which were darling. *The* site for the DIY crew.
I bought my guest book here and decorated with pieces from my mothers and MIL's viels. This will always be a cherished keepsake from the wedding day and a piece of our families history.
I bought the paper for our programs and menu cards here. Very helpful staff and a huge variety of paper.
I made my own invitations and that would not have been possible without the wonderfullness that is Paper Source. I got my inspiration as well as all of my supplies from their website and their River North location. All of my guests commented on the invitations- and I am very happy with them. The staff is always friendly, which is a bonus. The only downside to this store is that you always spend more than you had planned on- they just have too many great things!
I ordered my invites and very different. I still havent seen anything like the ones I used.
Thanks Paper Source.
Sandy
I was inspired by the Paper Flower Kits at Paper Source and I decided to make 200 paper flowers for my centerpieces. They are beautiful and doubled as favors for the guests to take home. After using the Paper Source templates, I found some pearly off-white paper at Office Max. It was about $10 for a pack of 50 sheets (8 1/2 x 11). I used this paper to make the flowers.

There are a variety of kits and they can be fun gifts or great for showers, too!
We used paper source for all our paper needs. Their customer service was great. I accidentally ordered twice as much paper as i wanted, so i just called customer service and they helped me fix the order. They are really helpful and I was able to fill my order with what they had left. It's a great quality paper!
This store is a must for any bride and groom looking to get invitation ideas or favors or even gifts for wedding party. They have a huge selection of beautiful stationery, specialty papers, stamps, ribbon, ink, templates, etc. so you can do it yourself, or you can use their professional services to have lovely letterpress created for you. Locations in Somerville and Boston, MA.
I went to Paper Source to get the matericals to make my programs, escort cards, and table numbers. They have BEAUTIFUL papers and the color that I needed - POOL. It was just the perfect color and almost perfectly matched my bridesmaid's dresses. Although they don't always have everything in the store, you can also buy online which is extremely helpful. Their oval printable labels were great - I used them for my escort cards!
We got the supplies to make our own. The people at Paper Source were very helpful and friendly. Such a great way to save money and be creative.
Great store and great products! I can't wait for the Palo Alto store to open!!
A great source for inspiration + an array of unique papers that can color coordinate for nearly every need on your wedding day.
