Christina Barbour and Paperzest added the "little details" that make a wedding special! While I had an idea of what I wanted to do for the save-the-dates and invitations, my artistic ability is lacking. Christina took my hand-drawn sketches--if you could even call them that-- and worked with me to create exactly what I had envisioned. Christina also worked with me to create a monogram, which we used throughout the wedding. In addition to the invitations and save-the-dates, we also used Paperzest for favor tags, place cards, table numbers and welcome box logos. Everything was fantastic! The price is extremely reasonable for the quality of the service and products. I would highly recommend using Paperzest!

Paperzest...Christina was fantastic to work with. She did the programs for my wedding ceremony. She was able to capture what I wanted from my invitation, email and phone converstaions. I wanted elegant, yet simplistic. When I was uncertain about a detail, she stepped in and offered suggestions. You also need to know that we never met! I'm very picky and I know quickly what I don't like. Christina was absolutely wonderful - at our first meeting, she suggested the perfect wedding colors after I told her what I wanted, but wasn't quite happy with what I had come up with. She worked tirelessly the whole way through to come up with designs that we were excited about, and everything turned out wonderfully, from the monograms to the colors to the details of each. She was extremely detail-oriented, and always had great suggestions on the items we had requested, and also had a couple great suggestions for items or details we hadn't even thought of! Through it all, even through the last stressful crunch of invitations, she was upbeat and a pleasure to work with. Need a couple extra invitations, or another sign? no problem! By far one of the best vendors I worked with! We got many, many compliments on the save-the-dates, invitations, placecards, and more. They were so us, and fit in so well with the whole wedding, I couldn't imagine having worked with anyone else!

Christina is a magician! She was by far the best person on my team of vendors for my October wedding. From the first meeting to the countless, and I mean countless, phone calls/emails, she was a joy to work with. She actually listens to what you want, gives you beautiful options to choose from (when custom designing multiple invitation options for you), shows you things you would have never dreamed of loving, and then hand-makes an amazing product just for you--that you love! We ordererd our Save-the-Date magnets from PaperZest, in Reston, VA. The place did an amazing job! The magnets had a photo of my husband and I- they were very professionally made!

Our wedding invitations were also purchased from PaperZest. The invitations were absolutely gorgeous! We had an appointment to meet with one of their consultants. We met with the consultant several times. We were able to pick exactly what we wanted, and we were even able to change the fonts, borders, color etc. The invitations arrived way before we expected them to, so we had more then enough time to have them stamped and addressed. My mother is an art teacher and does calligraphy- so she addressed the envelopes for us!

Christina at Paperzest is simply amazing. I was referred to her by my wonderful wedding planner and it was such a great experience. She is so talented and creative. I custom made my invtations, menus, programs, table numbers, etc. and they turned out incredible. The price is perfect and not too expensive. All my guests raved about the invitations and how unique and elegant they were. Christina is a doll to work with and I have not one complaint about the process. 2 of my coworkers also used her for their wedding invitations and they raved about her as well. Christina was great! Our invitations were exactly what we wanted in the price range that we wanted. She was so patient in helping us find the perfect design and also worked within our budget. We loved how she was able to include people's names on the rsvp cards, which saved us so much time and hassle, because we didn't have to try and decipher people's handwriting or figure out who forgot to fill in their RSVPs. She was also really accomodating when we needed a smaller amount of invitations to be shipped to us first.

We absolutely loved our invitations! They were beautiful and one of a kind. Her cost was all-inclusive, and included the cost of printing envelopes, return addresses, stamping the rsvp envelopes and mailing them! We just provided the addresses. Great for a bride on the go - she sent our proofs to our home, so we didn't have any additional running around. We did have some trouble setting up meetings face-to-face, and when we asked for a last minute change, she was very busy and we weren't able to get the correct changes in time.

Christina did an excellent job on the invitations. We met in late Oct to get the invitations out by the end of Jan. At first I got a little nervous because it took her longer than she said to get back to me with the invitation sample (some unexpected problems came along) and when we got it I didn't get a feeling for it, it was nice but not right. After a couple of calls and e-mails she made a second sample which we LOVED, by then it was late Januray and I started worring again. I had nothing to worry about (but guess I needed to worry about something and I choose the invitations), again I didn't have too, Christina made the invitations and mailed them right on schedule, everyone received them on time and we got many compliments about them. They looked simple and elegant, the quality of the work and materials was excellent. We also hired her to make the menu, programs and escort cards, I learned my lesson and didn't worry at all, I told her what I wanted and she made everything accordingly and delivered on time a few days before the wedding. She has an excellent selection of samples and color schemes to choose from and we loved the tri-fold layouts she offered, her invitations are not the traditional invitations, but a nice combination of colors, materials and styles. She'll try to match your colors as close as she can, and is willing to make changes and listen to your tastes. The value and quality of work is excellent. We highly recommend her for your wedding event or any other events.

I saw Christina's booth at a bridal show in Fairfax. I was impressed with her selection of invitations, save the dates, etc. I contacted Christina the week after the show and we met so that I could give her an idea of my colors and ideas and made a plan/schedule for getting everything done. She was very responsive and flexible. She had great ideas and great examples in her portfolio which helped me to narrow down the choices. I tend to be indecisive when there's too much selection, but she honed in on my tastes and helped me to create an invitation that was beautiful! I received so many compliments on them. We decided on a metallic brown that perfectly matched my bridesmaid's dresses along with some dark red touches that matched the black magic roses that I'd selected for my flowers. Thanks Christina for helping to set the tone for my wedding with the classy, elegant invitations that you created for us!

Working with Christina was possibly our favorite part of getting things together for the wedding. She kept us on track, was always polite, gave us suggestions, worked with our ideas and gave us a great product for the price. My guests are still talking about how pretty the invitations were the best part they think I spent a fortune and I didn't.

We put off invitations for a while and met with Christina a month before our invitations had to go out. Christina was so much fun to work with!! She did a great job of meshing my ideas with my husbands ideas. Not only did she help us create a design that was unique to us, but she got them done and mailed with plenty of time to spare. I was frustrated with regular invitation stores because things were too formal, stuffy, or wedding-ish. I am so happy that I found this woman. We met once, and I basically told her the color and details I wanted, right down to font ideas, and she totally ran with it. She remembered every detail from our meeting, which is impressive considering the number of requests I'm sure she receives, and she sent three mock-ups to my house. They were all gorgeous and she used unique paper and embellishments that I would have never found from a "box" store.As if that wasn't enough, when we decided to make our own wedding programs, she offered to order several spools of the matching invitation ribbon through her wholesaler, so that I didn't have to pay out the nose at a craft store. This was above and beyond. Most vendors would probably stop all communication once they send you the final product, but not Christina. She's very creative, communicates well, and is just a nice person. Highly recommend! :)

We were very pleased with our orders for invitations, programs, and placecards for our wedding. Paperzest came up with some very creative designs for us and worked with us to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. Creating custom invitations requires a lot of patience and attention to detail, and you will get that at Paperzest. We also felt like we got a good deal after comparing prices with other vendors.My parents also used Paperzest for our rehearsal dinner invitations and placecards. As you can probably tell, we used Paperzest for all of our stationary needs, and I recommend you do the same! You will not be disappointed!

our invitations were lovely and were done at a much less expensive cost than they would have been had we chosen to go through a major vendor. However, we did have a lot of trouble getting in touch with the owner, Christina, when we had questions about choosing invitations and it took her more than a month to get our bill to us after we asked several times so we could balance our finances as the wedding approached. I imagine that she will become more organized as her business grows but until then, you have to be patient if you choose paperzest. One other suggestion -- Do NOT listen to her if she advises that you use the line "number of `guests' attending?" on your response card. We had lovely cards that were personalized to each of our invitees but the line about "guests" confused all of them and gave them the impression they were all invited with dates, friends, etc. I am surprised that something clearly confusing got by an "invitation expert," but fortunately, it ended up okay in the end.

How do you describe a vendor who responds to you within hours of your email or phone call, re-sends your invitation panels to more than 30 people who were not on the original list, emails and calls you to make sure that you receive your wedding programs in time for the ceremony rehearsal, while all the while remaining positive and pleasant to work with? There is only one word for our paperzest experience- PHENOMENAL!!!! My husband and I are both professionals who have limited time but very specific desires and an eye for detail. When we first met with Christina of Paperzest, we were blown away by her flexibility in meeting with us within a few days after speaking with her on the phone. During our initial meeting Christina took the time to listen to us, laugh with us, and made suggestions that helped us clarify what we wanted. Christina got to know us during our first meeting and we knew we were going to like working with her. Christina and Paperzest had the difficult task of trying to bridge a gap between a conservative bride and a groom who loves color- both very strong willed. Our finished product was a unique work of art- truly gorgeous invitations that featured everything we wanted. I am not sure how she does it but our invitation had a number of inserts and a pocket but the price was completely reasonable for the high quality work we received. We also needed to send additional invitation panels to certain international family members and Christina was able to do this for us in record time with not one word of complaint! Christina was able to provide us with a one of a kind invitation, her attitude is always pleasant and upbeat, her timeliness is unparalleled, she is smart and EXTREMELY CREATIVE! paperzest set the tone of our wedding with quality paper, an innovative design, appropriate wording and practical yet fashionable presentation of our weekend wedding activities. paperzest was definitely my favorite vendor throughout the process. Paperzest was the best. Seriously, this was one of the best wedding vendor choices we made. Christina made exquisite, personalized Save the Dates, invitations, favors (jam labels), table decorations, menus, thank you cards, among other beautiful things that were exactly what we had hoped/envisioned, and just set the mood for our wedding. All of our guests could not stop commenting both before and after the wedding at how the invitations gave such an insight into the feeling/mood/place of the wedding, and that it made them really excited for the event. Everyone we invited to our wedding went out of their way to tell us how great our invitations were! And they were great! We got to help select everything, making them truly personal. Christina was amazing and very helpful and patient!!! My mother in law had about 20 changes she wanted to make every other day and Christina was able to keep up, help settle disputes, and never once complained! A coworker of mine liked our wedding invitations so much, she decided to use Paperzest for the invites of a company party, and those turned out just as great as our wedding ones! The pricing is well worth the quality of the work. And your invitation will truly be yours; your style and your input.

She was very nice to deal with and very creative/helpful with my ideas. She was also very flexible working with my timetables and my need for more invitations on short notice. She did, however, tell me that my first mock up invitations were "lost in the mail," which seemed a little odd. But she was extremely nice, did beautiful work, and it wasn't terribly expensive. She also did our place cards, which were gorgeous.

I LOVE my gorgeous pocketfold invitations!!! PaperZest is a unique company because they will meet you at a location of your choosing (we met at a Starbucks near my work) to show you samples and discuss your ideas, then you'll get a mock-up possibility in the mail a few days later. Christina was wonderful to work with--and I was a rather demanding customer because we must have emailed 100 times to get them exactly like I wanted. She also worked to my budget and did not try to oversell. Then, when I finally got them, I called that night to say I realized I needed one more thing changed and Christina had the new pieces ready and shipped out the NEXT DAY! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
