Anyone who wants to do an outdoor wedding MUST go visit Paradise Cove... it is absolutely breathtaking! I've dreamed of a beach wedding all my life, but this took it to the next level. You still get the beachy feel but the convenience of having required amenities for a wedding. The transition between getting ready in the bridal suite, ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception is flawless. All of my guests raved about how beautiful the wedding was and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. Not to mention if you are trying to plan your own wedding they offer day of coordination services. I personally worked with Kayli and she was amazing at understanding my vision for our wedding day and making it even better in reality. I can not thank her enough for helping me pull off a flawless and fairy tail wedding! I think Paradise Cove is by far the best wedding venue in Central Florida and affordable!

Amazing venue! When I started my search, I was looking for an outdoor venue with a beach setting, but not on the sand, and a reception area on site... Paradise Cove was exactly what I was looking for, and more! Everything about this place just takes your breath away - from the ceremony site, to the bridal suite, to the tiki bar! Kayli was our coordinator, and she was great. Very sweet, responsive and helpful... and she made sure we all knew what we had to do and when. Shanna was also wonderful - she answered any questions I had, and just made sure everything went off without a hitch. Excellent staff, I can't say enough good things about this venue :)
GUEST

Beautiful venue with great and friendly staff. They let my bride go into the bridal suite two hours earlier than contractually obligated. The service was fantastic throughout the process of looking for, booking and planning the wedding.
The only negative is that they didn't have a floor plan of the venue available to allow us to easily plan the tables. I actually created one myself though as Kayli sat with me and helped me measure all of the walls to ensure that everything would fit.
All of our guests loved the venue as well!! The best "beach" wedding in Orlando!

Paradise Cove is absolutely amazing! My wedding was gorgeous and everything was so much better than I ever could have dreamed! The staff is always friendly and helpful, I didn't have to worry about a thing at my wedding! There's a good reason this place is so booked up, because its just that awesome! And make sure to hire Shanna to coordinate, she's the best! I've always been a crafty person, and did the majority of our decor myself, but I needed someone to put it all out for me the day of the wedding. She took my ideas to the next level, I had not a care in the world and no complaints about anything! If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing! Thanks to the wonderful staff for such an amazing time!

Shanna and the rest of the Paradise Cove team really were incredible. The planning process was so easy with a cool and calm coordinator like Shanna at the helm. The venue was gorgeous, even more beautiful at night than I could have imagined. Overall just a beautiful venue, a great team to work with and flexibility for every budget. I loved being able to bring in our own caterer and purchase our own alcohol, we saved lots of money doing that and the food was way better than some nasty hotel chicken dish. We saved on alcohol and were able to rent their boats for guest transportation from the hotel as well as have Justin (my groom) do a special entry on the ski boat with his groomsmen before the ceremony. SO many cool touches you can do there!!
GUEST

This venue is beautiful! However, the staff double booked our rehearsal making that a bit tricky. You need to cross your t's and dot you I's with their staff to make sure everything is set how you'd like it.
GUEST

Paradise Cove was everything we needed to make our dream wedding reality. The venue speaks for itself...beach...tranquilty...romantic...We had to provide at least 3 different dates before we could finally book the space. This is a place you definitely need to book ASAP.
There are some areas that need to be cleaned up a bit, but the location and atmosphere was great. Our guests enjoyed their time and felt like they were in the caribbean somewhere and not Orlando, which tells us Mission Accommplished =0) =0)

All I have to say was that this wedding site was perfect. Paradise cove was just what we were looking for. It was like getting married on the beach. It was laid back and the area is so beautiful. All of our guests loved it and I have had a people tell me that they will get married there now.
GUEST

This venue was GORGEOUS! Talk about beachy, tropical and romantic in the middle of Orlando! The only "problem" we had was that it started to rain about 10 minutes before our ceremony started so we were not able to get married in the beautiful ceremony space :( Nonetheless, we had a rain contingency plan and it was still amazing! Tip: Book early! Consider a Sunday or Friday wedding to save a little cash!

We loved Paradise Cove and had such an amazing wedding there! It was exactly what we wanted and could not have asked for a more beautiful venue. Although we had such a great time, this is a review and so there are a few things that I noticed. The price is pretty good, however, you only get 4 hours for the ceremony and reception which is not a lot of time. You can have a 5th hour but it is quite expensive. They are not as flexible as one would love for them to be (but it is because they are so busy). We had to have our rehearsal at 3pm which was a little earlier then a lot of our bridal party had expected (including us) so everyone had to take off work and make arrangements. Overall, we loved having our wedding there, but knowing some of these things beforehand would have helped me with planning and what not. So hopefully this helps you :)

Paradise Cove is a diamond in the rough. If there is a beach in Orlando this is it! Our photographs were beautiful and our guests were very pleased. We had a very tropical wedding and this venue was perfect!

You think Disney is the only place to have a fairy-tale wedding in Orlando? Think again. Paradise Cove was not only beautiful but it was magical. Kristen and her crew made our night completely unforgettable. Beautiful setting, wonderful atmosphere and wonderful staff. Everyone that attended our wedding couldn't believe that this piece of land right smack in the middle of tourist country could be so secluded, you literally felt like you were on an island. AMAZING place!

Paradise Cove is a perfect place for a outdoor romantic tropical wedding! I love the fact that it was like working with a blank canvas! We could chooses our own vendors and decorate how we wished! We loved the fact that we could have our Cermony and Reception in the same location so it was very convenient for all our out of town guests! There is lots of options for the layout and style of the reception!
I would highly reccmond that all the brides rent the bridal suite! it was completely worth it! My girls and i had a great time getting ready and spending time together!
My only thing i would say i did not like was the chairs they had that are included in the price! they were just the basic plastic patio chairs! If you get covers for them they are fine but they are not pretty! We rented our chairs! But other than that it was a perfect location for our 100 guests!!! I couldnt imagine having my day any where else!!!!!

From the moment my then-fiance and I stepped foot on the property of Paradise Cove we knew we had found THE PLACE to say "I Do!" We had both our wedding and reception here, and utilized the bridal cottage for dressing, and the boat for transportation to and from the Blue Heron resort for us and our guests. Kristin was our tour-guide, and later our chosen Day of Coordinator, and she was truly spectacular. We knew we had made a friend for life! She was so kind and helpful through every single step of the wedding planning. Being a Type A bride, I was especially grateful for her knowledge, experience, and recommendations. The biggest hit with our guests was the Groom and Groomsmen entrance on a speed boat. Brides, this is such an amazing little item to add to your details! We coordinated music with their entrance... three weeks later and our guests are still raving about it! We could not have asked for a more beautiful wedding - Paradise Cove provided our guests with a truly unique Florida experience. From the lake, to the majestic cypress trees, to the palm trees and fauna. What was best about this location is that it really doesn't need a lot of decoration because it's already fabulous and natural. The tiki bar was a great hit with our guests, as was the canoe filled with beer, sodas, and water. Another inspired idea by Kristin. :-) I wish we could do it all over again!
Advice: book early, we had to go with a Sunday in February... it was still perfect weather, and a perfect day!

Paradise Cove is awesome. If you are looking for a beachy wedding, or a destination style wedding without having to leave the country - this is perfect! You can decorate to jazz it up or do nothing and it still looks exceptional. And the people at Paradise Cove, even though they do a ton of weddings, make sure each and every wedding is treated like royalty. Kristin at PC is amazing. She is super responsive and easy going. I loved working with her! Anything you want to know - she can answer for you (including great recommendations of other vendors). If I got married again I woul still do it here. We had such a blast.

Paradise Cove is an absolutely beautiful hidden gem. The fact that they run watersports during the day camouflages how incredible a wedding can be on their private lake venue. Kristen, the manager, is detail-oriented and makes certain that everything that needs to be done for your special day is done. She even serves as a day-of-start-up-the-wedding coordinator, placing programs on chairs if necessary. The grooms entrance on the power ski boat interrupting the silent anticipation of the wedding guests is nothing short of pure awesome. The spacious bridal house is a definite asset to the venue. Getting ready right there without having to think about transportation to the ceremony itself is as good as it gets. The grounds are beautifully kept and the lake is a perfect backdrop for all the photos. We did a first look on their dock. The open bungalow reception area is so beautiful when lit at night and the dance floor holds a party. I wouldn't have had it any other way.

If you are looking for a beachy location but want to stay in town, this is the spot. This location was perfect for our laid back wedding! I received so many compliments on how beautiful the location was. Check it out and you will fall in love. They book pretty fast, as this is a very popular spot!! we loved it!

This was an amazing location!! The scenery is out of this world! I truly felt like I was in a movie when walking down the aisle. Its a natural beauty, that doesn't take much decorating which is a huge plus.
My only complaint would be the bugs. Being that my wedding took place during one of the TWO times of the year that "love bugs" are present, they were everywhere. The sun can also be a killer, so refreshments and fans for your guests, are definitely recommended if at all possible.
Overall, we are truly pleased with our selection of Paradise Cove. We would without a doubt, recommended it to others who are seeking a beautiful outdoor location, at a reasonable cost.
GUEST

The venue is absolutely beautiful and the people that work there really care about the venue and making sure you get everything that you want. They have a great list of preferred vendors and they let you bring in your own alcohol. Paradise Cove provided the perfect venue for both our ceremony and reception. The only down side is that we were tied down to a 4 hour time block (plus set up and break down) - I wish we could have had more time.
GUEST

My wedding was last month and it was AMAZING. I felt like I was literally in "Paradise," probably why they call the place paradise cove! It blows my mind that people think this place is expensive because a friend of mine got married at a similar venue in South Florida and paid 3x more for a venue that wasn't near as nice. And Kristen was great! Make sure you say you want to work with her! Everything was beautiful and my guests are still raving about it. I'm very lucky we found this place!
GUEST

A really beautiful wedding ceremony location which made our pictures perfect! Would have had the reception here also but we married in Florida in July and were conscious if it rained there was no back up plan! Loved our ceremony being there however and would choose it all over again. Great value too!
GUEST

The facility is amazing and we were concerned about the heat as we had an outdoor wedding in June in Orlando. It was definitely hot, but we rented fans and the evening was still very enjoyable. Kristin was wonderful to work with. The facility is laid back and pretty much lets you do what you need to (in the allotted time). They allowed us to bring in our own caterer and purchase our alcohol directly so that save quite a bit of money. During the reception the staff onsite was helpful and friendly. It was a destination wedding for our entire family and all of our friends - they wanted Disney - I did not. It was the perfect compromise, I got my tropical "beach" wedding. They got their disney vacation.
GUEST

The venue was absolutely beautiful! I'm so glad we chose it for our wedding day. The staff was very helpful as well as easy to communicate with. The only drawbacks I could think of were the price (its a bit much, but you don't have to do as much decorating), the short amount of time for the event, and the lack of time before the event to set up. The rental price only includes 2 hours of setup and the whole ceremony and reception had to take place in 4 hours. Though our wedding didn't seem as short as I anticipated it would have been nice to relax and enjoy it a bit longer. There are also many restrictions for your decore (if trying to set it up yourself). Otherwise we loved Paradise Cove and our guests still tell us how beautiful it was!

Gorgeous venue! Everyone loved it and had a fantastic time! Just be sure to bring bug spray if you have a May wedding because there were a lot of mosquitos! It's to be expected, it's Florida and the venue is on a lake. The staff is friendly and easy to work with. They're very laid back which was great for me! The site is also gorgeous and doesn't require much effort to make it look good. I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone who wants a tropical feel to their wedding!

This venue is perfect if you're looking for either:
- a beach wedding look with catering hall amenities (sand free seating, lake view, bathrooms, tiki bar)
-an off-beat venue (no walls, no "dance floor" just a "dance deck", tiki bar...can you tell I liked the tiki bar?)
-a destination feel for out-of-towners without leaving the country
Other Perks-
-an awesome lady named Kristen that will help you along the way, always gets back to emails promptly, and is just really sweet overall to work with
-a optional deck boat that can transport guests back and forth across the lake to a really sweet time share hotel (Blue Heron)
-a beach area with fire pit and Adirondack chairs by the lake
-a TIKI BAR!
-a house that's big enough to live in that's used as the bridal suite
I'm a bride coming from NYC (family lives in Orlando) so compared to the cost of having a wedding up here, this was like a total bargain! Book early, they tend to book out up to a year in advance.

Perfect place for a wedding. All our guest had a blast, especially those from up north. This place is so beautiful that it doesn't need much decoration. And the staff is great! Easy to get along with and a big help with planning. Loved it!
GUEST

The perfect atmosphere for a "beach" wedding without traveling! Ran into a couple of problems but with persistence they were taken care of.

2/13/10 wedding.. This place is a great place to get married if youre looking for a beach like cer/recpt. They arent too flexible on the time that youre aloud. They are set in certain blocks of like 4-5 hrs. but if you want a short wedding its perfect. The only problem I had were the HEATERS.. I rented 4. It was really cold that night 40s or so. 3 were malfunctioning all night and one just turned off. If youre having a winter wedding there test out their heaters before hand.. Other than that it was an amazing location to get married. THe staff were very helpful too. The TIKI BAR is a plus to the theme.. :)

I had my wedding here in February 2010. The location is PERFECT for an outdoor wedding! It gives a great beachy vibe in the middle of Orlando. It was one of the only places I found that had both the ceremony and reception outdoors. Plus, with the venue looking so great to begin with, we saved a lot of money on decorations.
Dates fill up quickly here, so if you're looking for a wedding venue I would recommend trying to book at least 6 months prior to the date you want.

Oh my gosh I cannot say enough great things about this place and the people who work there!!! First of all, the place is absolutely gorgeous as an outside venue, with palm trees and cabana style tiki bar and the lake and the brick pavers for the "down the aisle" walks. Even my guests from Orlando were absolutely stunned...they had never noticed this beautiful serene hideaway, hidden back behind all the crazy Disney tourist stuff. (Make sure your directions are VERY clear---guests won't be able to believe this gorgeous place is in the middle of everything---they will drive right past the entrance, I promise). I had a morning wedding at 10:30am and it was soooo pretty with the sun and the palm trees. I have awesome pictures!!! KRISTIN was my coordinator, and she was to die for. Everything was laid out for me, planning-wise. I had never gotten married before, so what do I know? She TOTALLY helped me through the whole process, and when I didn't want to make a decision, she asked me a few questions and made it happen! For example, I liked a certain color as an accent for a bouquet, but I honestly couldn't take the time to sort through a million flower types...I asked her if she could decide for me. No problem! She had another girl (who works there too!) do this INCREDIBLE arrangement that I could have never thought up myself. It was so perfect it was amazing. Seriously, I really could go on and on about this place. If you want more info I will gush more. carter at cartermay dot com is my email address.

All I can say was that our wedding was perfect. The location and the staff are amazing, if you pick this venue you won't be sorry! Kristin is a dream to work with. My only complaint was that we didn't book enough time our guests had a blast and you will too!

This place is a hidden gem. Feels like a beach wedding without having to travel to the beach. It's so close to all the theme parky stuff (great for out of town visitors with families), but feels like you're miles away from everything. Kristin was wonderful to work with leading up to the event, very responsive and accessible. Shanna was great coordinating everything the day of. Guests couldn't stop raving about it - especially those who live in Central Florida and never knew the place existed. As far as overall value, it is pricier than some other venues we looked at, but the ability to purchase our own alcohol probably balanced that out. Plus, I loved being able to choose my own caterer. We did pay extra $$ for the bridal suite, boat shuttle and a fifth hour - it was expensive, but well worth it. Only two complaints: first, the boat shuttle got off to a late start, which is a big deal for a short event. Second, my brand new camera, filled with pics from the rehearsal dinner and pre-parties, disappeared from the bridal suite where I left it during the ceremony. Not pointing any fingers at anyone since plenty of people had access, but just make sure you have someone watching your valuables and make a solid plan about who will pack up what at the end of the night. Other than that, a fabulous choice. Many, many guests told me it was the best wedding they have ever been to!

Paradise Cove was a beautiful site for both our reception and cermony! It's right on the water and (in my opinion) perfect for an outdoor wedding. The staff was easy to communicate with and very professional. Paradise Cove was a great choice for our BIG day!

Beautiful area for an outdoor wedding. Right on the lake which is closed off to the public during your ceremony. So many options for decor and how you want to do the ceremony.
GUEST

Paradise Cove is a beautiful venue for a laid-back wedding. The scenery and accomodations make you feel like you are vacationing in the Caribbean and it looks great in photos, too. Kristin is amazing to work with...she is very easy to reach by email or phone and offers many helpful suggestions for your "Big Day". Paradise Cove is very expensive and you must book several months in advance, but it is completely worth it if you want the "Island feel" without traveling. My guests gushed about the venue! I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone planning a fun, relaxed wedding!
GUEST

Paradise Cove is a beautiful, "island style" reception venue in the heart of Orlando. Everyone raved about the location and scenic views, Kristin and Shanna are extremely helpful and easy to work with. The location also offers amazing backgrounds for photos!
GUEST

Paradise Cove is an island without going to the Caribbean. Very beautiful location and Kristen is a doll to work with. They are a little pricey for what they offer. My only complaint with them is the night of the wedding, it was chilly so my husband and I paid for 2 heaters. Yes, we found out 2 days before our wedding (from another bride, not Paradise Cove) that we would have to pay for heaters if we needed them. I didn't like that sprung on us last minute. The day after the wedding we found out that the guy who brought the heaters out was telling guests how much they were, when they asked of course, and took money from them to pay for additional heaters! We would've liked to have been told so we could have provided additional heaters and not have him take money from our guests. That was horrible. Other than that, the location is beautiful for ceremony and reception.
GUEST

Paradise Cove is a beautiful site for weddings! Working with Kristin was great. She had many suggestions for the wedding and was very helpful the day of the wedding. Everything turned out perfectly!
GUEST

Paradise Cove is a beautiful venue! And Kristin was a delight to work with! The entire staff was very professional and friendly. And very accomodating. We showed up unannounced on a couple of occasions and they did not hesitate to help us. I definately recommend this venue.
GUEST

Beautiful venue if you're looking for that beach look in the orlando area without traveling far. They are very professional but the place its kind of pricey and they are not very flexible as far as how early you can get there and clean up afterwards.
This is a beautiful lake-side venue which gives a beach feel right in the heart of Orlando. I can't say enough about the fantastic location or excellent service I've encountered while shooting here.
Absolutely love Paradise Cove for wedding photography. Make sure to ask for Kristin, their coordinator. She's the best.
