Party Blooms

We started working with Lori at Party Blooms after other florist’s quotes were way too much. Other wedding vendors had told us Lori could do a lot on a tight budget, which we were on. We set out by telling Lori the budget we had to stick to, and what we were looking for. She was familiar with the venue and knew what she was working with. Lori offered numerous alternatives for us to choose from, and thought of many creative ideas to decorate the dinner tables while staying under budget. We gave Lori swatches of our wedding colors, and she did a great job matching floral arrangements to them. We wanted to a variety of arrangements on the tables, rather than 12 identical ones. Lori did a great job making three different types and spreading them throughout the room. It all looked great and was done at a price that was very affordable. I would also recommend paying the pickup charge so that you don’t have to return the vases yourself; very handy! The day after the wedding was chaotic, and having Lori come get the vases from the hotel was very convenient. We were very happy with Party Blooms and would recommend them to our friends.

Lori is very creative and hands on. She helped me create the perfect floral selection for the bridal party, church and reception. When we arrived and saw the arrangements we were so pleased. The flowers were fresh and I absolutely love my bouquet.

The bouquets from Party Blooms were beautiful and looked exactly how I described them. Lorie did a great job, and was by far one of the easiest vendors to work with. We only needed a few bouquets and boutonnieres, so we had one planning meeting with her, and after that the bouquets arrived at the church the morning of our wedding with no issues and looked exactly how I had imagined them. Party Blooms is very reasonably priced for the excellent service you receive!

Lorie's work turned out beautifully! Not only was she reasonably priced but she handled my large wedding (400 people/ 60 tables) and wedding party (27 in all) fantastically. The bouquets and table arrangements were stunning. She turned Founders Hall into an elegant oasis. I was so happy I worked with Lorie!

Prior to my consultation, she asked me to send her pictures of floral decorations I liked and inspired me. During the consultation, she was able to present me with inventive ideas that were dynamic but stayed within my budget. The day of the wedding, Lorie and her teamed dropped off the bouquets and boutineers to my hotel room. Now that's service. The church was nicely decorated. Lorie created signature centerpieces for my wedding which were gorgeous and accented my reception venue perfectly. I highly recommend her for brides on any budget.

Lorie was the BEST! I booked her after I saw the flowers she did for my friends' wedding...and I am so glad I did! She was $100s cheaper than the 2 other florists I met with, and the quality of the flowers she used was amazing. We came home from our honeymoon to a leftover centerpiece that was still alive after not being watered for a week! I got so many compliments on both the bouquets and centerpieces at our wedding.

I can not say enough great things about Lorie at Party Blooms. We were so pleased and excited about our flowers and couldn't have asked for a better florist. Highly recommended and with such reasonable prices.

My experience with Party Blooms was mediocre. The centerpieces were beautiful but I was not pleased with my bouquet, the grooms boutonnière or the bridesmaid bouquets. The problem was that I asked for a full, large bouquet and I was delivered a small bouquet that was much smaller than my bridesmaid bouquets. I understood that I picked expensive flowers-- but the bouquet was still $175 so I didn't feel that size would be a problem. The bridesmaid bouquets had unbloomed flowers hanging off them that were extremely unattractive- and not like the picture I provided. They did fix those the day of- but they basically cut off flowers that I had paid for. In the end, Lorie from Party Blooms did refund my money for my grooms bout (because it was browned) and gave me 20% back for my bridal bouquet. That and the fact that I liked the centerpieces is the reason why the review still received a 2.3/5.

Lori did a great job with my BM bouquets, bouts and table arrangements. The flowers were just lovely and I had so many people say that they were the prettiest they have ever seen b/c they were so unique. There was one bout and one corsage that were not brought to the ceremony but the planners worked it out and fixed it and Lori is refunding me for the mistake. Overall, EXTREMELY happy with my florals and would hire her again in a second!

Lori was great to work with! I had no idea what I wanted and she spent two hours with me a few weeks before my wedding to narrow down the options. I really appreciated her time. I was really disappointed with the groomsman boutonnieres. They put silver ribbon on the stems of the boutonnieres and it looked really bad. It was not secured in anyway- it was just a loose piece of ribbon wrapped around the stem that was supposed to stay in place by a pin. However, it came loose on every single one of them and it looked really sloppy (and cheap). You could see the frayed edges of the ribbon on them in the pictures. I would have thought they would have been glued or secured in some way. Also, I requested a peony bridal bouquet and showed them pictures of two types of peonies (I don't know the names) and told them which type I wanted. The ones I received were not the ones I requested, so I was kinda bummed. I saw another bride in the lobby of our hotel on our wedding day and she had the kind I wanted in her bouquet so I know they were available. However, the bridesmaids bouquets were beautiful and so were the flowers and candles in the reception hall. Also, they made an adorable kissing ball for our flower girl.

Lori was so great. We had a cake fiasco and a fussy caterer, but she took it all in stride and even brought in some extra flowers to help out the cake. The flowers were beautiful, and she really worked with my limited budget. I would recommend her to everyone!

What can I say, but my flowers were beautiful. Great flowers and great price. I had gerbers everywhere and I loved. You did such a great job. Thank you so much.

Lorie was great to work with and gave us a lot of suggestions. We were disappointed, however, when we got to the church a lot of the bouquets' roses were already browning. And 3 of the bouquets fell apart before we even left the church. I also thought that my bouquet would have been a bigger.

Lorie at Party Blooms was simply amazing! She is so skilled and knowledgable about working with flowers, that you can simply give her your ideas and your budget idea, and she was create the most perfect set of flowers for your wedding day. She delivered my flowers to the church early, and even worked with my cake baker to coordinate the flowers for my cake. Everything was beautifully arranged, the quality of the flowers were perfect, and she is SO nice! Plus, the price is very affordable.

I loved working with Party Blooms. I went there once and she handled the rest!
I didn't have to worry about anything. The only problem I had was that the mens flowers were just leaves and berries and the leaves drooped the whole time. I guess I would of picked something else if I had known that. It looked like I had put them together. Other than that the rest of the flowers were gorgeous!

They were really helpful and the flowers were absolutely beautiful. They will work with you on the color scheme you want. The price is a little steep, but worth it in the end.

I am so happy that we used Laurie as our florist for our wedding! She was so helpful. I wasn't sure what flowers I wanted but I knew the colors I wanted. She was able to come up with beautiful centerpieces and bouquets for my bridesmaids. And, she was very flexible when I changed a few things a couple weeks before my wedding!

I loved working with Lorie on my wedding flowers. She really listened to what I wanted, and offered lots of suggestions when there were things I wasnt sure about or undecided on. She works out of her home, and keeps overhead down, so her prices were very reasonable. Better yet, she had worked with my venue before, and was familiar with the layout. We had a fall wedding and the flowers she provided were beyond anything I could have imagined. My bouquet, my bridesmaids' bouquets, were SO gorgeous. My photographer took so many pictures of the flowers, and it's no wonder. She also provided vases and candles etc for centerpieces, and I didnt have to pick them up and get them back to her, she took care of all of that. AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME, would definitely recommend.

Lorie was an absolute dream to work with. She created exactly what I described and my bouquet was GORGEOUS! She went above and beyond on every arrangement she did for us and her prices were beyond reasonable. She knows exactly what she is talking about and will do whatever she can to make you happy. A great find!!

I love the work that Lorie did for my wedding. Her centerpieces were very pretty & were much more reasonably priced than I was expecting. The bouquets were gorgeous & I got lots of compliments on them! She has great prices, but she can take a little bit longer than I liked to respond to e-mails.

Lorie is AMAZING! Her work is gorgeous and cost-effective. If you're considering using her do yourself a favor and go with her as your florist. I was not disappointed AT ALL. My only wish is that I had used her for my centerpieces and I regret that decision. All the flowers she did for me were beautiful and I received MANY compliments on them. She's great to work with and a delight!

Lorie is the owner of Party Blooms and she's awesome. I went to meet with her eight months before my wedding and we had my whole floral scheme decided on before I left her home. It was great! She had wonderful pictures and even some of my actual ceremony site. She's very reasonably priced especially for the Charlotte area. She's very detailed oriented and she's been doing this for awhile so she's a professional. I really enjoyed her no non-sense approach and that she's willing to work within whatever budget you have. The best thing is that she allows you to make changes up to two weeks before you wedding and I certainly took advantage of that! You absolutely cannot go wrong if you choose Lorie. She will ensure your flowers are beautiful!

Party Blooms had great, competitive prices and excellent work. Lorie, the owner, knew exactly what I wanted and we put together an excellent design. When I arrived at the ceremony site and saw the bouquets, arbour and aisle, I was so happy. My bouquet was beautiful and colorful, just as I had wanted. A surprise was that the ribbon around the bridesmaids bouquets matched the bridesmaids dresses exactly, which was hard to believe, since it was a mango irridescent taffeta by Jim Hjelm, which I do not recall telling Lorie we ordered. I was very pleased and would recommend her and use her again.

The owner of this small business is WONDERFUL. I knew nothing about flowers and she explained everything to me. She made lots of suggestions, showed examples, and let me make final choices. The prices were way better than most florists, probably because she does it out of her home and avoids the overhead costs of a building. The flowers were gorgeous and in perfect condition.
