Reviews for Pat Maki Players
I hired Pat Maki Players because I loved the sound of their trio and their pricing is very fair. I grew up playing the piano and I love classical music, so music selections were important to be. I love the sound of the harp, so I picked a trio with a harp. The harp player costed extra, but it was completely worth it. I loved working with Pat. Pat made sure I heard all available samples with the harp combination. Pat was friendly and helpful and all the musicians were very professional. I only wish I heard more of the music!
We hired a brass quintet for the ceremony music. They did a fine job and my only complaint was that they weren't so great at transitioning into the bridal entrance (but, I am also a musician, so not sure if anyone else noticed). All in all, having brass was nice and just different from the usual string quartet I seem to be seeing at many weddings.
I don't know why it has taken me this long to write a review for Pat Maki Players, but they were absolutely wonderful. My husband was mainly the one who dealt with Pat, but she was incredibly flexible and easy to work with. We originally wanted a trio, but we opted for the string quartet instead just to have her play the flute! The ceremony music was beautiful, and while we weren't there for the cocktail hour music, I'm sure it was just as great. The Pat Maki Players came highly recommended by my venue, and I couldn't be more pleased that we had them with us on our day!
I had a string trio for my ceremony, and everything was just perfect. Pat was very easy to work with, and the musicians showed up on time and looked and sounded great. They are a class act, and reasonably priced as well!
We had a quartet with Harp, flute, violin and cello. The music was beautiful and Pat was great in helping with our music selections (they were outside the 'standard' selections). One of our guests, a music teacher, could not stop raving about how beautiful the music was! I only wish I could have heard more of it!
