Patricia's Weddings and Custom Cakes

Great service all around! My cake and the grooms cake was just as I imagined them to be! VERY delicious!!!!

This was one of my favorite vendors! We walked in, no appointment or anything and they had cake already made for customers to taste. It was AMAZING! My husband literally would not stop eating it. The shop is so cute too and Patricia is incredible. She has been in the cake business for years and just had such a positive “can do” attitude. We went back for an official appointment, tasted a larger variety of flavors, with and without filling (included free of charge) and she sketched out our design. I had actually forgotten about the cake until I saw it at our reception and it looked beautiful and I was so excited. It was set up, flowers, cake topper and all, and I did nothing to ensure it would be there on time, a big plus for me. She worked with our reception hall and they did all the work.

My original baker dropped out on me one month before my wedding. In my hurry, I found Patricia's was the only vendor who was available on that date. I went and talked to an employee during my "tasting" (which was a small plate with about 4-5 different cake flavors out) and she said that on my appointment 5 days later, that she would have a certain flavor for me to try. On the day of the appointment, she refused to admit that she told me it would be ready, and we were not able to sample that flavor. In addition, we were kept waiting 45 minutes for our appointment time while Patricia laughed with her appointment that was before us. When we got there, she was cordial, but not nearly as friendly with us as she was with the other couple. If we were not in such a bind, we would have walked out after waiting 20 minutes for the appointment to start. I will say in spite of the AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE, their cake did taste amazing.

Patricia's cakes was also our favorite and it was clear from the first, second and third time that we tasted it that she would be the person to make our cake. She was super nice and great to work with. We wanted something simple (round cake) with a touch of detail to resemble the lace on my dress. We picked her signature flavor of raspberry and also had a chocolate with peanut butter mousse layer and a yellow cake with chocolate mousse layer. Alll our guests loved the cake and we can't wait to get our anniversary cake next year!

Patricias did a great job for us. We decided to go with cupcakes instead of a cake and they were very accommodating and helped us choose what we wanted. I honestly cannot stand cake or cupcakes but I ate 2 of these cupcakes at the wedding and ate it for another week. They showed up on time and got everything taken care of for us at the wedding. The price was great too! I thought it was going to be a lot more expensive and when she quoted us the final price I was ecstatic.

Patricias cake was delicious and beautiful. Cake tasting was easy and very accommodating. Price did change between the deposit and the actual ordering. Not bad(75.00) but a little more than expected. Cannot wait for the anniversary cake.

We knew from the moment we tried Patricia's sample cakes at a wedding show that we would have them make our wedding cake. Out of ALL of the samples we tried, Patricia's (hands down) was the best and most delicious! From the cake tasting to meeting one-on-on with Patricia it was wonderful! They have so many flavors and they ALL taste incredible. We had a 4 tier cake and we had trouble deciding on only 4 flavors, not to mention all the fillings. Reasonably priced for the quality and totally worth it!

I couldn't have been happier with the cake. The design was perfectly executed and it should be noted that anotther well known baker in our area refused to even do the design stating it would be too time consuming. In addition to looking great, the cake taste awesome. Everyone raved about the cake. Patricia was easy to work with and her prices are reasonable. I especially liked we could choose different flavors for the same price. This was nice because choosing just one would have been impossible. My only complaint was the cake was delivered a little late (i.e., minutes before the ceremony was scheduled to start). I guess better late than never!

The cake is out of this world!! We wanted the best tasting cake, and after tasting visits around Cincinnati, there is no better cake! We would certainly consider buying cakes for other gatherings too! Raspberry & Lemon are to die for! The samples are available to try daily by variety of tiny 2-bite chunks. The only problem was that the pricing was so confusing. Everyone was pleased with the cake on our special day, though!! If you want the best tasting quality cake....Patricia's is it!

It was great working with Patricia! She was so nice, she understood exactly what I wanted for my cake. It was gorgeous! Of course it tasted exactly like I thought it would. I do not have one bad thing to say....it added to my perfect day!

Planning for a wedding, every bride anticipates almost everything that could possibly go wrong, except that the wedding may not actually take place. After a broken engagement, every wedding vendor that I had a contract with worked with me to come up with a fair settlement amount, everyone that is except Patricia’s. I had paid the entire balance owing on the cake two months prior to the wedding. Over a month prior to the wedding date, I emailed her to let her know that the wedding had been called off. She informed me that she would not refund any portion of the amount I had paid. She would not refund (a) the delivery fee, (b) the cake plate fee nor (c) any amount that she would not have to spend on materials or labor. Thus, she was planning on keeping the entire amount that I had paid for the cake even though she no longer was going to have to make the cake, deliver the cake or provide a cake plate. I contacted an attorney. Patricia also contacted an attorney and again insisted she would not refund any amount that I had paid on the cake. After lengthy discussions (where many phone calls and emails that we made to Patricia’s attorney were never returned) between attorneys we finally settled on an amount she would refund to me. One week later I received a check for only a part of the agreed upon amount with a note that said she would not refund any more. After again having to have additional consultations with our attorneys she finally sent me a check for the remaining amount (again after numerous follow up calls and emails that were ignored by both Patricia and her attorney). It took over two months for her to finally refund the amount that was owed to me and a lot of phone calls and follow up on my part. After the cancelled wedding, working with Patricia had been a complete disaster. She refused to return phone calls, was unavailable and was rude and insensitive during a very difficult time. I never intended on asking for the entire amount paid on the cake, as I understood that she should be entitled to her lost profits since I was the one that had cancelled the contract, however, she was unreasonable and difficult to deal with. I know most brides do not anticipate that their wedding will never occur but if that does happen, you will realize that the people that you have chosen to do business with are very important. Every vendor, other than Patricia, that I had worked with was fair, reasonable and responded promptly. I hope you consider this before using Patricia’s. There are a lot of other cake vendors out there that are both fair and reasonable—Patricia is not.

I thought they did an amazing job on our cake!! Everyone kept talking about how great it looked and tasted. We went on a bunch of cake tasting and Patricia's was by far the best! I'd recommend her to anyone!

My Husband (Fiance at the time.. hehe) and I had an original baker who didn't want to 'deliver' our cake. So 2.5mths prior to the wedding we had to find another baker... We went to Patricia's Cakes; she and her staff were WONDERFUL!!! We had a wine theme cake since our original venue was a winery; however, that got changed 4 weeks prior to the wedding which was AWFUL. I was afraid to pay any vendors if something else were to happen. I called Patricia's and they were willing to work w/ me and they went out of their way to make our cake verrrry special.... It was a wine barrel and soooo many people at the wedding were in total awe!! The cake tasted GREAT too!! I am soo happy to have had them as my baker... THANKS and I will use them for every other cake that I do.

Patricia herself is Great!! But the service from her other employees at her shop is pretty awful. Almost every time I've called or stopped by to talk to anyone, No one seems to no what's going on. I can only laugh. For example we didn't get fresh strawberries on our cake because no one could seem to tell me if it was possible.Our wedding Cake was Super Delicious!! I have to say it's the BEST wedding cake I've ever tasted, that's why we chose Patricia's. But I was Extremely disappointed by the design of the cake, it was a bit sloppy & not what we expected at all. I paid extra for the complexity of the design & the sugar flowers. I wish we could have seen it the day before so that we could have avoided this disappointment-Or I wish we would have just went with a more simple design that they couldn't have messed up. The cake was one of the most important things to us & it definitely fell short. But at least it tasted delicious!! I'm looking forward to Eating our freshly-baked anniversary layer.

Patricia's cakes are the best, talk about tasty OMG! I used Patricia's for our wedding shower cake and the wedding cake. The lemon cake is delicious. I fired my cake designer 2 weeks before my wedding because her prices kept soaring and I wasn't totally sold on her ability and with no where to turn , I called Patricia's and she gladly said she would make my cake for my wedding 2 weeks away! The wedding cake was delicious and beautiful. I gave her a picture and asked her to make a replica and it was perfect. Patricia's also has a budget relief cake that is a discounted cake with a few designs to choose from and I needed that because at 2 weeks away there was no way I could come up with anymore money for cake, so the prices were great! One thing that didn't go so great is the cake was an hour late. Patricia brought the cake and went to the wrong venue. I began to panic big time, when I walked down the aisle the cake table was bare, but when I came back up the aisle it was there and beautiful. I am looking forward to our 1st year anniversary cake, yum.

Patricia's did a wonderful job with our cake. The pattern matched our invitations perfectly. The ribbon matched the sashes on the bridesmaid dresses. The design even had "hidden mickeys" which are little Mickey Mouse heads on it that only we knew about. The flavor's were amazing as well.

We've been getting cakes from Patricia for years and years. I was extremely disappointed that they were an hour late though.

Patricias cakes are the BEST cakes ever. EVER! I was never a cake person (more brownies and cheesecake) but I tried Patricias at a couple different bridal shows I was at and I fell in love. Patricias is also the preferred cake vendor at The Elements which is where we got married. I went to Patricias after the 3rd bridal show and ended up going to her shop 3 more times to get everything finalized and to rent a gorgeous cake card box she has. We decided the first time what the flavors would be, but every time I went there I had to sample the cake again just to "make sure" we got the right ones. I really just couldn't get enough. I think I am addicted now. Every time I think of cake or something sweet I start craving their cake. There was not even one piece to take home with us, we ordered extra servings because we knew everyone would love it, but there still wasn't any left over. Just try it once and you will become addicted too.

Patricia's by far has the best wedding cake you will ever taste! Her cakes are so moist and she has a wide variatey of flavors! Her overall price for her cakes were great too compared to other top bakers in the Cincinnati area. Our only mishap we had with her was when we returned our cake stand she claimed there was another piece that went along with it. Our reception vendor tossed everything else since it was mostly cardboard and trash. We still don't believe there was a handmade wood piece that came with the cake. My recommendation for any bride who uses Patricia's is to save everything! Her cakes really do tast the best and that is what really matters!

The cake itself tastes great. The staff at the store are not all that helpful and really you only get details for anything out of Patricia. Also if you have a cake topper do not leave it with them. I arrived the day of my wedding to see a cake with no topper because they had left it at the shop. Fortunately we were able to get a hold of someone and they brought it out but if I had to do it over again I wouldn't have left it with them in the first place

Our cake was BEAUTIFUL and DELICIOUS! We ordered enough for 200-250 people and we had approx. 150 guests. There were only 12 pieces of cake left after the reception! You MUST try Patricia's raspberry cake, it is to die for!

My cake looked exactly like the picture I showed her and it tasted wonderful!! the buttercream frosting is to die for!!! YUM

Our happy journey start with the cake tasting, the cake was so... GOOD!!! Patricia was so great, we brought a picture from the web and there came the incident, we got to add more cakes 'coz the guests numbers are grew more than what we expected, and Patricia was so helpfull, thankfully we choose the proffesional wedding cake. The cake was great, the taste was amazing... I do reccomend Patricia.

Best cake in Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati area! So yummy and the cakes they create are beautiful! Fun groom cakes too!

Perfection, the cake was just as they said it would be, right on time, and tasted amazing!!!! plus Patricia will give you lasting words of advise. :) and not to mention it was probably the best price we saw!

Working with Patricia was easy and simple. I brought a picture and she said she knew exactly what to do. The girls working in front are a little forward, gossiping and complaining about other customers. I wanted lace that matched my dress and unfortunately it was very basic and not even close to my dress. Also, there was supposed to be a light dusting of silver across the lace and somehow or turned out completely blue. When I first saw it, I was mortified but thank goodness you can't tell the blue in the pictures. The cake was delicious but I think they are kindof old fashioned. Go simple and basic and it will be a success.

Very good cake we have some left over...not to mention it was beautiful!!

The girls that work for Patricia are very unprofessional. While we were doing our tasting they were shouting gossip across the store to one another. They also tried to tell me our payment was late, even though I had the contract in my hand that said the date. Despite all that, Patricia herself was very nice. And the cake was absolutely beautiful and delicious. I would recommend her.

This is the best cake in town. It is so good that it just melts in your mouth. They have so much to choose from and they will work with you to get you the cake of your dreams in you price range. They are at the bridal shows and are always slammed with peopl they book up quick so do wait to long!!!

The cake was very good. Just some little mishaps with their service. Patricia was great, but a few workers were unprofessional and on their cell phone while we were in there business. I also dropped off calla lillies for the cake, and they called hours later asking when we were dropping them off. Gave me a little bit of a scare, but everything turned out great.

My wedding cake turned out wonderful, but a there were a couple of issues. We had a smaller number of people coming to the wedding than we had expected in the beginning. It took almost 2 weeks for them to decide how to make the cake smaller. I told them that I wasn't too concerned because I would be okay with the price. It took quite some time for them to give me the price as well. The cake was delicious and turned out great in the end.

We knew we wanted to work with Patricia's Weddings and Custom Cakes before we even met the master behind the craft! My husband and I attended a friend's wedding as a recently engaged couple, and when we tasted one of Patricia's wedding cake flavors, we were sold! The cake itself was sweet, moist, and absolutely delicious! When we finally made our appointment and met with Patricia, we talked about all the wedding details - NOT just the cake. She was so sweet and provided us with helpful, insightful suggestions and creative ideas. We had no doubt when we signed our contract that the cake and accessories would be amazing - and it was!! Our guests are STILL talking about how beautiful the cake was and how yummy it tasted... so much that they've asked to share a piece of the complimentary anniversary layer we will be picking up on our first anniversary in June!

Patricia's created an awesome "mad hatter" style wedding cake for our big day. It looked incredible....we got so many compliments...and it tasted awesome too...moist and rich! Patricia was great to work with in designing our cake.

cake was lopp sided tilting to one side, when we met Patricia to order our cake she told us we had to pay her $50.00 before she would even tell us what it would cost us to have the cake made. They were 20 minutes late for setting up the cake and staff was not very friendly!

Patricia is THE BEST. Her cakes are absolutely the best in Cincy, and her prices are reasonable. I had white cake infused with raspberry filling- it was delicious. She can do everything imaginable as for designs. Another plus- you receive a gift certificate good for one free mini-cake (same as your wedding cake), good for your one year anniversary!

Perfect service, amazing cakes, great designs and ideas! Patricia's made my wedding cake exactly how I dreamed it would be at a reasonable price. Plus you receive a free small cake (matching your wedding cake) for your one year anniversary! It can't get any better than that! :-)

The cake was amazing, it was a castle cake but it wasn't exactly what I expected. I am very pleased with the taste of the cake but I thought it looked a little more childish in person than in the pictures.

Ask any of our friends & family, they all say our wedding cake was one of the best they've ever had. Though I have to say it wasn't straight (three pictures depict the clear leaning), it was gorgeous, delicious and very reasonable. We brought in the photo of a Martha Stewart cake with large fondant polka dots on a white fondant 3 tall tier cake. It was very close to the photo, minus the lean, and again tasted even better than it looked.
