Emily Patti did such a wonderful job on my daughter's wedding cake. The bride provided her with a picture of a similar cake along with modifications to go with her colors. Emily took that an ran with it. Her cake was a work of art. It was exactly as the bride had envisioned and the best part was it was delicious. Her cakes are moist and fresh. I've seen beautiful, expensive cakes but once you tasted it, they were dry with no flavor. Not Emily's. She was great in helping us decide on the size cake to get for the crowd and not trying to sell you more than you needed. We really enjoyed working with her in designing and tasting the cake. Emily is a professional who provides a quality cake. I would highly recommend her services for any special occasion.

Patti Cakes, Inc. designed 3 lovely wedding cakes for our dessert table! She even designed an AWESOME grooms cake for our reception. She took the time to meet with my husband and I before our wedding and even drew a draft of what our cakes were going to look like to ensure we were all on the same page. She did 3 different flavors for us and the main wedding cake was purple ombre (go ECU pirates) and everyone loved it! The best cake I have ever tasted! I was most excited about my cake after meeting with the owner, Emily. Just tasting the cake, I knew she would do a great job. There are lots of flavors to choose from. We chose the butter cream frosting, not a big fan of fondant with the almond and chocolate cake. Not only are her wedding cakes amazing, she is very talented and offers many other options. We will definitely order from her again in the future for special events. Working with great vendors will minimize the stress of a wedding and this is one vendor you can trust.

Emily is an extremely talented cake baker! I showed her a few pictures of other wedding cakes for inspiration and she literally designed my DREAM CAKE! When I saw the cake at the reception...I was literally speechless with how beautiful and perfect it looked. Now "looks" isn't everything....the cake was absolutely delicious!!! I had tons of guests coming up to me telling me it was literally the BEST wedding cake they have ever had! Thank you Patti Cakes!! :)

Emily with Patticakes is a genius! My fiance and I walked in her door with no real idea of what we wanted, by the time we left, the design of the cake was complete and was the thing I was MOST excited for on our wedding day. Her flavors are amazing and our cake ended up looking exactly like the design she drew for us.

Emily did a great job on my wedding cake and grooms cake! The wedding cake was beautiful, the most beautiful cake I had ever seen! She incorporated the designs from my dress into the cake and it was amazing! The grooms cake was really cool too. It was in the shape of an Eagles jersey and it had our last name on the back and it looked like a real jersey! Oh and the flavors, mmmmm, they are so hard to pick because they are all wonderful! The possibilities really are endless and she will customize your cake any way you want it! I highly recommend Patti Cakes and I will be ordering cakes from her in the future!

When I had a last minute appointment cancellation on a very popular wedding date from another cake vendor, Emily Patti was there to the rescue! She was able to meet with us on short notice (as we were only in town for the weekend). In our appointment she was quickly able to grasp our vision and make suggestions. All of her cake flavors were delicious and perfectly moist.

When I saw our cake for the first time on our wedding day I was amazed at how perfect it turned out. It not only looked amazing but tasted great too! We had so many people coming up to us that night saying it was the best cake they've ever had. I could not have been more pleased! WOW is all I have to say, the cake looked better than I could have even imagined! She worked with us and had a ton of flexibility! And the taste was incredible. We had to take some with us for a late night snack but ended up eatting it for breakfast. So many people loved the cake. I thought that carrot cake might not get a ton of people wanting it but everyone loved it! And of course the almond was perfect aswell.

My husband really enjoyed the cake tasting appointment and felt really involved in the planning process when chossing our cake. Emily was very creative and the cake not only looked great but tasted even better. We also used her team for our groom's cake, we embelished a photo from her cake book and she executed it perfectly!!

Emily is AMAZING!!!!! NOT ONLY will you NOTTT find a more AMAZING ARTIST...you will NOT taste a MORE AMAZING cake in your LIFE!!!!!! (We consider ourselves "foodies" and are VERY picky might I add.) We had Banana cake with Rum Buttercream...it melted in your mouths and Im actually SAD I dont LIVE in VA beach so I could eat her cake DAILY!!! Ours was a destination wedding and everyone who lives there asked WHO our baker was because in ALL the weddings theyd gone to (which is ALOT of weddings in an Italian family)...SHE WAS THE BEST!!!! She went OUT of her way, creating flavors that she didnt even normally offer for US!! Out of everything our guests ate...they were begging for more of her cake...dont BOTHER even trying anyone else...WHY WOULD ANYONE???!!!

Emily is so amazingly talented at what she does! She is so caring and really pays attention to every detail. When my mom and I went to try her cakes, we were instantly sold because her cakes (and fillings) were just that good! She ended up making my husband's grooms cake as well, and it couldn't have turned out better! I received so many compliments on my wedding cake and not only on taste, but on how beautiful it looked too! I highly recommend Patti Cakes, Inc. for any occasion!!!

She was absolutely wonderful in helping us decide on a wedding cake and made sure we knew all the options and pricing before making our final decision. From the first time we met Emily, we knew she would be the one to make our daughter's wedding cake. She was most interested in creating a cake that was just what we wanted, both from a taste standpoint to the design. She worked with my daughter to create the "look" she wanted, changing the design more than once to please her. The cake she delivered was not only beautiful, duplicating the lace on the wedding dress, but it was delicious as well. The lemon filling was wonderful and it was very moist. The perfect ending to a night of delicious food.

Emily is terrific!!!! When I first met with her I liked her instantly. She's very friendly and up beat. I came with my ideas and she had her ideas and plenty of pictures for me to see, by the time I left we were both so excited and just could not wait until the wedding. I had different kinds of cupcakes at my wedding and everyone had a favorite. They were delicious!! It was a pleasure to work with her. I would definitely recommend her for any event!!!

Wonderful cake! It looked beautiful and tasted delicious! My daughter ordered a red velvet and almond combination with chocolate buttercream icing. Fabulous! Emily also made a special cake to meet some unique dietary needs within the family. Thank you, Emily!

Emily created the most GORGEOUS and DELICIOUS wedding cake for our wedding on May 28, 2011. The four-tier cake represented us and tied our theme together. The shimmery pink fondant and the various shades of sugar flowers and details were beautiful. Our rhinestone letter "R" cake topper proudly sat on top of the cake, and we loved how the cake looked on top of our silver cake stand. We were excited to slice our cake during the toasts, yet we did not want to ruin the beauty of it. Our cake consisted of two tiers of chocolate and two tiers of red velvet; our guests commented that both flavors were delicious and moist. Some stole other guests' slices!

Because my husband and I only had a few bites of our luscious cake before being whisked away by our guests, we indulged in eating half of our first tier at home and froze the other half for our anniversary! We plan to order a mini anniversary cake with both flavors. I smile as I often look at photos of our cake. I'm salivating as I type this.

When we met with Emily during the summer of 2010, she allowed us to sample all the flavors. We had trouble choosing our cake flavors because all were delicious. She was professional, friendly and accommodating. Again, we appreciate having Patti Cakes, Inc. be part of our wedding.

Emily was a blast to work with from our consultation through the phenomenal cakes she made for our wedding. Her flavors are absolutely the best cakes we have ever had and we used a variety for our grooms and wedding cake and everyone raved about them. All of our friends have continued to enjoy the cake throughout our destination wedding weekend. The biggest hits were banana chocolate chip and almon with pineapple filling. We would recommend Patti cakes to anyone and wish we lived closer so that we could get all of our cakes from Emily.

Emily put together our wedding cake and a grooms cake for the rehearsal dinner. Both cakes were amazing in looks and taste. We had discussed what we wanted with her so I felt like I had a good idea what they would look like, but they still were so much better than I imagined. She added fondant dogs to the grooms cake and we were so amazed at how similar they looked to our dogs and we only sent her one picture. She is so talented and affordable! Definitely use her for any cake!

We are so happy that we chose Patti Cakes to do our wedding cake. The cake was not only breathtakingly beautiful, but it was unbelieveably delicious!! We choose two flavors for our 4 tiered wedding cake and the guests loved it. We froze the top for our first year anniversary, but we might have to have some early since it was so good! The cake looked so beautiful - it was hard to cut into it. (I wish I could post a picture on Wedding Wire to show you how gorgeous it was)! Emily Patti was so great to work with. She was able to work with my vision and surpass my expectations!

Emily's cakes are one of a kind! My only regret is not having a full piece (or 2) at the wedding. All I had was the 2 bites my husband fed me! We ate our anniversary tier for our 1 month and it tasted so fresh!!! I'm so glad we went with Emily! I had so much being creative with her during our brainstorming session. I always felt that I could switch things up at any moment and she's be up to the challenge. My family members couldn't believe how tasty the cake was...even the fondant! Patti Cakes was the way to go for us and it as one of the highlights of the planning process for me!

Emily is amazing. I wanted the perfect wedding cake and groom's cake. I sought out reviews from friends, magazines and went to multiple tastings. Emily came highly recommended from friends and wedding professionals and I can see why.
My husband was blown away at the detail on the groom's cake. Our guests didn't believe it was really a cake. Emily listened to our ideas and asked all the right questions to make our cakes amazing. The wedding cake was beautiful and I just know it will taste wonderful on our anniversary.
Even better was the taste of both cakes were out of this world. Cutting the cake in front of all of our friends and family is one of our favorite memory's from our wedding and Patti Cakes added that special touch.

Our wedding cake was stunning and Emily did a fantastic job executing my idea exactly how I pictured it. During the wedding we had many compliments on how beautiful the cake looked and after the wedding I heard all about how tasty it was too! Emily was very accommodating and even sent over a tray of cakes and fillings for our tasting when she couldn't meet the weekend we were home to plan because of a prior wedding show she had committed to. We choose a traditional white cake with lemon filling. The day after the wedding I had a chance to really enjoy the left overs and I still think about how delicious it was. With the left overs she included an anniversary layer and freezing instructions. I'm looking forward to enjoying it again on our 1st anniversary.

Emily was fabulous from start to finish! From the cake tasting at her home bakery to seeing and tasting the cake at the reception, Emily was a pleasure to work with, and has the gift of making great cakes! I brought her a few photos of what I'd liked but nothing compared to the final product. It was beautiful and delicious. The cake was an almond cake with a raspberry filling and was moist and fresh; the frosting was not too thick and not overly sugary. Emily is a baker and an artist! Thank you Emily for a great cake!

Emily designed and made our bridal shower cake, groom's cake and wedding cake. She was so easy going and understood all of my thoughts and wants for the design of our wedding cake. Also, she incorporated every detail that I wanted to suprise my husband with his groom's cake. All three cakes looked amazing and the detail was impeccible. My wedding cake was everything I dreamed it would be!

Also, let me add that my husband is not a sweets lover, or by any means a cake eater. However, I gave him a peice of my left over bridal shower cake and I found him sneaking peices of it for breakfast for the following week...until it was gone! I would reccommend all of Emily's cake flavors, but the banana chocolate chip is the best! You will not be disappointed!

Patti Cakes.. one word. AMAZING! This woman does an awesome job all around. She invited us into her studio to discuss exactly what we wanted. We taste tested all kinds flavors. I chose a cupcake tree! It was the cutest and best cake I'd seen. EVERYONE complimented the moistness of the cupcakes even months later. I still get asked, "Who did your tree?" I will use Patti for special events in the future and will recommend her to everyone! :) I can't wait to eat the topper cupcake at our one year anniversary!!

Our cake was amazing! With very little notice we had to completely change the design of the entire cake (From a replica of an aircraft carrier to a tropical style wedding cake). Emily was not only flexible, but she came up with a design that was perfect for the event and tasted soooo good. Our surprise wedding was wonderrful and Emily's cake was the frosting on the day!

I have to say I was so pleased with my wedding cake. I planned my wedding in 9 days and Emily Patti made me the cake of my dreams. Originally I was planning a big wedding in January but I found out I was pregnant and I had already bought my dress, so I had to speed everything up. I can honestly say my cake was the biggest hit at my wedding and was the only thing that turned out as planned. It was so delicious and was just gorgeous. I highly recommend Patti Cakes to all my friends and in fact two of them booked her to do their wedding. I have tried many other cake vendors and it was either really pretty and didn’t taste that great or tasted good but was not pretty. I got to have both at my wedding, so I guess you could say I got to have my cake and eat it to. I can’t wait until my one-year anniversary when I get to eat my cake again. I want to thank Emily Patti again for making my day that much sweeter ☺.

Emily was one of my favorite vendors - I found & contacted her online and then met with her at an open house she was having at a stationary store her high school friends own - which actually turned out to be the stationary store that did my invitations. We had one brainstorming and tasting session that was very productive. The design changed a few times and Emily was always there to pick up the phone when I had a tiny change or a question. I actually gasped when I saw the cake at the reception - it was EXACTLY what I wanted and it looked spectacular. The best part? it tasted amazing and people raved about it all night. Her fondant icing is mixed with buttercream, so it actually tastes divine. We had the fondant with two flavors: almond w/ raspberry filling & chocolate with raspberry filling. There was nothing left at the end and all I can say is Emily is wonderful to work with, her cakes are beautiful and match in taste!

I can not say enough good things about Emily. She was so much fun to work with! She took the ideas we had and made them into a magnificant wedding cake and an amazing grooms cake. Our wedding cake incorporated a beach theme and had live fish decorating it. Our grooms cake was a John Deere tractor....everyone thought it was a toy it looked so real.
