We were lucky that Paul was available and willing to shoot our wedding in California. Somehow he captured all the right moments with perfection, all the while never getting in the way. He knows his craft well and was VERY easy to get along with. We consider Paul a great friend and would recommend him to everyone.

Paul came highly recommended as a wedding photographer and now I can see why. I first used him to shoot some engagement photos and they came out beautifully. Everyone that saw the photos almost immediately asked for his contact info. After seeing the engagement photos I immediately signed him up as my wedding photographer and couldn't have been happier! He's extremely professional and was a pleasure to work with. I would recommend him to anyone.

Paul was an awesome photographer and very friendly. He was able to capture our wedding day exactly as we remembered it! Paul also captured very touching moments that we missed and were very excited to see them. He was able to take these photos without being intrusive and making us feel overcrowded. Paul's creative and artistic eye gave us a wide variety of styles in the photographs, ranging from traditional to spontaneous. We are very pleased with the outcome and quality of these photographs that he took for us. We highly recommend him!

Paul was amazing as our photographer!! His was very professional but at the same time was very personable and easy to talk with about what shots we wanted him to take. His pictures convey the emotion, feeling and beauty of that day and we will forever be grateful to him. I would recommend Paul to anybody who is looking for a quality photographer that will capture the memories of their wedding day to preserve them forever! =)

Paul Steinke did such an amazing job photographing our wedding. Every picture turned out perfect. He listened very well to all of my suggestions and had wonderful ideas that created fabulous pictures. He is extremely creative and talented. He also has a wonderful personality and is so easy to work with. I'm so happy I hired him to photograph my wedding. He eliminated a lot of stress for me and created beautiful momentum's of my special day.

What primary photographic style do you identify with?

What do your packages include?

Digital Files, High Resolution Images

Do you have liability insurance?

Yes

Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning?

I will process any photo into black and white, or sepia, and make sure each photo is at a high standard before delivery

Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?

I can work in any lighting situation, be it a dimly lit church or outdoors with sunshine

Is your media preference film or digital?

I shoot on two Canon digital bodies

How many photographers do you work with?

At times I work with one other photographer, depending on the situation and the couple's needs

Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?

I am at each event that I book

Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?

I only do one wedding a day so that each couple receives my full energy and attention

Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?

I have a list of go-to photographers in case I am unable to be at the event

What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?

I always bring my Canon professional cameras, a number of different lenses, extra batteries and storage cards, a laptop for back up, and other accessories

Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?

I always have back-up equipment with me

Do you charge hourly or full day?

I charge up to a certain number of hours of coverage, which can be as little as 3 and up to all day

Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?

Anything over the agreed upon shooting time is billed at $175/hour

What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?

I only break once, when people first begin eating

Do you charge for travel?

I do not charge for travel if the venue is within 75 miles of the Denver area

How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?

I will have proofs ready and online for viewing in 2-4 weeks after the event, usually done in 2 weeks

In what format are the initial proofs offered?

The initial proofs are always posted online and can be delivered on CD or other media if the couple so desires. I am very flexible in this area

How long can the client keep the proofs?

The proofs are the couples to keep forever

Do you retain the copyright for the photos?

I retain the ownership of each photograph but give each couple permission to print and display each picture

Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?

Photos I take may be published and I reserve the right to do so

Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?

I provide each couple with digital negatives if so desired

Will images be available for viewing online?

Each event will have a separate online gallery where the images can be viewed by anyone the couple chooses

What kind of albums do you offer?

I offer contemporary photo books and leather bound albums from a number of vendors

When will the client get the final album?

The delivery of the final album all depends on how involved the couple wants to be in the design and picture choosing process, the actual time line varies with each event
