Peak Entertainment was the "icing on the cake" for our wedding. The music was amazing, the sound was fabulous and the DJ's were fun, flexible and professional. Our guests were dancing all night and compliemented on how much fun they had. Peak Entertainment was worth every penny!

Peak was fantastic. I was very hesitant to get a DJ over a band but I think it was the best decision we made! The DJ (I'm forgetting his name) was amazing-- listened to what we wanted, cut down a song right before the ceremony for us and created the best dance party I've ever seen. Thank you so much!

The music was excellent - many of hte guests hardly left the dance floor - the transition from toasts to dinner to the part afterwards was as seemless as the style of music was diverse but segued so as to be vertually unoticelable.

This on top of the last minute task of designing and setting up a synchronized dual screen slide show presentation for a "u" shaped dining area puts Peak at the peak of performers and technicians in my book.

I want to thank you for providing such an amazing DJ. The music was perfect!!! We had the most amazing wedding, and the best dance party I have ever seen at a wedding. It was an absolutely perfect event, and I really appreciate all of the hard work you and your staff put in!

Peak Enterainment did such an amazing job we got carried away with the party! The DJ Newton saved someone after a nasty spill on the dance floor! Our friends and family enjoyed themselves so much at our wedding and Peak Entertainment was a major contributor. I don't think there was a moment when people were not dancing! The online survey and the meeting we had was really great and helped me so much with the whole process. Thesurvey actually helped me the most out of the tools that I used during the planning process. It gave me a great idea of the flow of events. Peak Entertainment was always prompt at getting back to me to answer questions and we will definitely recommend you to all of our friends.

Peak did an AWESOME job managing a crowd with a very diverse set of music tastes and a slightly awkward reception space and incorporated last-minute changes seamlessly. The crowd had a very diverse cross-section of folks YET the dance floor was packed 90% of the time. Considering that I went to a wedding 2 weeks before where the DJ played a lot of songs that had a niche crowd (polkas) and left the dance floor empty 50% of the time his professional judgment was invaluable and was key to making the party flow. Many people commented on how good of a job they did and that everyone had a great time. Thanks for helping to make our day so special!

Newton was one of the nicest guys to work with. Very responsive and flexible. In the portion of the event where he had complete control over the playlist, he knocked the ball out of the park - read the crowd perfectly and had everyone on the dance floor until the end of the evening. Most of our guests said this was the best wedding they had ever attended and the music certainly contributed to that. Highly recommend Peak Entertainment!

Peak DJ was professional and perfect for our event. They played everything we wanted and when one of our guests asked him to play a song on our "do not play list" -he refused! Sign of a great DJ...highly recommend!!

We were very pleased with the service from Peak Entertainment at our wedding reception. They were originally recommended by the reception venue and Newton (Client Care) and Aaron (DJ) were both professional, responsive and pleasant to work with. While they have a great process to make every run smoothly, we waited until the last minute for everything. :) Yet, they still handled everything like a pro and were a great asset for the evening, even dealing with last-minute changes and additions to the evening's schedule. They work through every detail and are clearly equipped for anything that someone might want for their ceremony or reception. Very highly recommended!

My Husband and I had Steve as our DJ for our wedding and we LOVED him! He had guests of all ages dancing for 6 hours straight! Our guests are still telling us how much they loved the music. He wasvery professional and flexible when we addded people to our introduction last minute. He set the tone for the evening, and it was everything we wanted it to be!

Newton of Peak DJ strives to uphold the reputation of a nationally known entertainment company, which he does very well. From personalizing our music, to letting us select how much professional discretion the DJ has this is company to go with.

This is a great company. They are totally professional, super flexible and will pretty much do anything you ask of them to make sure everything is the way YOU want it. You can leave as much or as little control to them as you want. If you want a 100% customized playlist that you created, they will do it. If you want them to do all the work and just keep the party going, they will do it. No strings attached. You just ask and they deliver. I highly recommend them!

The music was perfect! From the ceremony to the end of the reception, I loved the music. There was always plenty of people on the dance floor. Very professional. I'd recommend them to anyone!

Peak Entertainment was very professional and accomodating. We actually didn't expect anyone to dance since our reception was in the early afternoon, and were pleasantly surprised that a number of people actually did make use of the dance floor. We attribute this to the skill of the DJ in selecting songs.

Having a detailed questionaire to fill out ahead of time was helpful- we liked that we could have as little or as much control over song selection as we wanted. Our DJ followed the instructions in our questionaire perfectly. With the thought in mind that likely no one was going to dance anyway, I just picked songs that I liked and enjoy hearing (half of which were U2 songs!!) and the DJ accomodated many of my somewhat crazy songs requests, which is exactly what I wanted him to do.

There was only one very, very minor negative that we found: we think the DJ may have jumped the gun on the cake cutting and not coordinated the timing with the reception venue since there weren't any little plates or forks out for us when we went over the cut the cake. We just had the cake and a big giant knife. We carved out a piece and had it balanced on the edge of the knife and had a moment of panic as to what to do with the piece of cake next without plates and forks available. Really it was more funny than disastrous though, so we didn't really mind.

My husband wished that the song list from Peak Entertainment included some more songs from the 90's although I think they updated their list just after our questionaire was due, so maybe this is no longer an issue. Also, they are more than willing to play music from your personal collection, so if your favorite song isn't on their list it isn't really that big of a deal.

Overall, Peak Entertainment was very professional and very organized and we would recommend them.

I was always weary of wedding DJs and was hoping to find a band (too many bad wedding DJs and wedding movies). Peak Entertainment eased me of this anxiety. They were extremely professional and worked with us to create a wedding and dance floor atmosphere that appealed to our diverse crowd (young, old, hip, mixed with a few traditions). They helped pace the evening in subtle ways, but were careful not to dominate--as so many DJs tend to do. We were able to give them several songs we wanted, and they aptly integrated these songs at just the right moments (often without our prompt). The wedding day was effortless on our part, but the sound flowed wonderfully.

Peak DJ did an amazing job at our wedding! We couldn't be happier!
My husband and I originally really wanted a live band as we are minimalist and have more classic tastes. A live band didn't fit in our budget, and we are so glad that we went with peak DJ. They played great music (nothing cheesy) and were very much "in the background" at our request. They played the perfect mix, some good oldies and some newer songs as well. The background music for dinner was just as we wanted too.
All in all, it was great and we feel we made the best choice!

Because Peak DJ is super organized and has the experience necessary, they are one less thing you need to worry about as you are planning your event. When our DJ showed up, he promised our wedding reception would be "bullet-proof" from the time he started. And he was right! He did a flawless job at everything from prepping the toasters to reading the crowd so he could play the right music. Everyone had a great time thanks to Peak!

Our DJ, Nick, was incredibly professional, and tons of fun. He was flexible with our timeline, but still made everything flow seamlessly from one event to the other. He played our music selection and kept with our tastes the entire time, and many of the guests spent the whole night dancing. When things slowed down, he jumped on the floor himself and got everyone going again. We had a wonderful time and we couldn’t have done it without him.

When we were first planning our wedding every vendor we spoke to ask if we were doing a band or DJ. When we said DJ and that we had hired Peak, everyone said we had made the right choice that they are fantastic. Everyone was right - they respected our wishes and playlist. The music was the perfect volume during cocktails, dinner and dancing. Not once did we have to worry about what was going to come on next.

Best DJ's ever! There wasn't a dull moment on the dance floor and they really knew how to keep the crowd going. They were very aware of the types of music that would keep people out there dancing and having fun. I get compliments from guests from my wedding even now 6 months later.

Peak was great - Newton and David (coordinator and DJ) were on the ball, responsive, and very respectful of our wishes. It was a great night and everyone was up on the dance floor the whole time!

Firstly, Newton from Peak Entertainment who arranges the bookings and walks clients through the preperation process needs to write a book on customer service. Personable, Flexible, Responsive, Engaging and Informative - just a few of the words to describe working with him. This being said, Newton is often not the DJ your wedding will be assigned as your DJ is selected after you complete your wedding questionnaire with your music preferences. It is a bit strange to not know who your DJ is until after you already book with Peak but having used them for our highschool prom and again years later for our wedding combined with the recommendations from the Equinox we would recommend taking confidence that they will match you well.

We in part also chose Peak because they were able to provide us with an extensive song list to choose from and from their questionnaire you could see they had thought of everything and would come well prepared. Although your DJ is assigned after booking, you can also speak with your DJ ahead of the big day. We arranged a call with ours to walk him through the pronunciation of some of the foreign names he would need to say on the big day.

In the end, the only thing we would have asked them to do differently is to be a bit more proactive with preparing our speakers on the day. We had 4 people giving speeches and we would have asked the DJ to more proactively ensure they were all set to go. Everything went smoothly but my father (as the first to speak) could have used a bit more hand holding.

People have told us ours was the most fun wedding they've ever been to. They may be exaggerating but it certainly doesn't get old and we think the music and hopping dance floor had a lot to do with that. We put a lot of work into our music selection, specified songs for entrances, cake, bouquet toss and garter as well as do not plays, must plays and preferred songs. However we also left a lot up to the DJ in case our picks weren't flying with the crowd. Peak allowed us the flexibility to do this so if you are the type that has the time and inclination (as well as skill at picking likable songs) this could work well for you. If not, they also provide the option to let you pick where you fall on a sliding scale of 0(you pick every song, no DJ control) to 100 (DJ can play what he thinks will work best). I like this strategy as couples may like to have the work done for them. I would certainly trust the DJ we had to pick songs. He played the night perfectly, starting off with our picks for the older generation and moving into newer stuff (and some Journey of course). He also dealt well with my few requests and never overwhelmed us with his own talking. He was great and I think most of the time people didn't give him a second thought because they were too busy dancing! All of our hard work with our playlist paid off and I'm very happy with how Peak worked out. One caution, they system is flexible (awesome) but also somewhat complex (a little tiring if you're in the throes of wedding planning). I'm encouraging them to make their questionnaire and song list a little more user friendly because I felt it necessitated a few too many emails between me and Newton. Then again, thank god for email and Newton was able to help us figure out what we needed in the end. Again, my best advice is to know what you want out of your DJ, Peak can most likely work with any scenario and do it well, I just recommend having a clear idea before you start filling out the questions. Contract however was straightforward and I never looked back. Thanks guys!

We had Amy as our DJ and she was absolutely fabulous. She was responsive, attentive, and played all the right music! I was initially disappointed that Newt took so long getting back to me but Amy really made up for it. EVERYONE loved her!

Newton is great!

Peak DJ was great. Their questionnaire was a bit absurd (very very long) but they were willing to work with us and play what we wanted.
The DJ, Aaron, was great. He got everyone up on the dance floor, young and old. (My 90 year old grandmother was even out there) He played all the songs we had put on the list that we wanted. I don't think I've been to another wedding where so many people were dancing.
Peak was great- although a little expensive- but they played what we wanted and got people dancing.

They were difficut to get in touch with before the wedding. They didn't call back when they said they would, acknowledge our deposit, etc. However, on the wedding day they were great. I had to fill out a long questionnaire about what I wanted, and they followed it perfectly. They were classy and really helped to guide the reception events along smoothly.

The person that we spoke with and made all the arrangements with was not the same person that was actually the D.J. I didn't like having to meet our DJ at the wedding for the first time.

I might stand alone on this one but I was not at all happy with the way Peak ran their business. I think they can really benefit from a survey at the end of service to get feedback from the client. Newt went to great lengths to deter me from my music selection in lieu of playing standard wedding tunes. He does not know my family and friends. After many, many, many calls and emails to refine this list so that we were both happy (wait, aren't I the paying customer?) we finally got down to a list that provided more than enough music for the entire evening. Not only did the DJ go off list (there was no communication btwn Newt and the DJ that actually did my wedding, nor did the DJ answer any of my calls until the day of), but he also played songs twice. That's basic. I do give some good scores because it wasn't terrible and I have seen terrible DJs - I was just unsatisfied about the way I was treated when I was paying so much money. I could have paid less and had a DJ that listened to what I wanted. I have had 3 friends with weddings in VT since then and I cannot recommend Peak.

Newton and his team are the best in the business! When couples are looking for a DJ we recommend Peak immediately. The team is professional, flexible, and organized...and our couples always come back with rave reviews!
