Peartrees was very professional, affordable, flexible and the food was really good! They went beyond my expectations and provided excellent service before and during the event. I would recommend them to anyone.

Pear trees was one of the first vendors we booked. Stefanie Martinez was our event manager. I think the best way to go about this review is to go through pros/cons
pros:
-Very professional, Stefanie is a great event manager and is very enthusiastic. She listens to your needs and wants
-The food is good
-They are accomodating when it comes to your tastings and trying different things
-On the day of the wedding, they had everything set up perfectly and were organized
-They were very prompt in serving my husband and I at our table.
-They let us book them two years in advance and lock in thier prices. That saved us some $$ but the cons brought "value for cost" stars down to 3 (read on)
Cons:
-They ran out of food!!...they said it was because people took more than they should but they even ran out of the zuchini!! I mean really? I can imagine the chicken but not your side vegetables and salads??
-They gave my parents the run around when approached about the situation and said that there was nothing they could do, there was no more food...We had about 15 people not have anything to eat excet rice, salad, some veggies.
-However when some one came up during the time there was no more food (just one salad, rice, and some beef left)...he said, "I dont eat meat, what am I supposed to eat?"...they went to the back and brought him out a piece of fish....I thought there was no more food?!
-They didnt offer any kind of solution, kind of didnt care when my parent came up to them. My parents would have paid for more food or to bring out the reserve food....but nothing was offered.
-Response time for emails took a while which is fine with me but when the response comes and not all the questions are answered and I have to send another email about that question and wait another length of time, then I mind a bit.
-We revised our menu/guest list count a few times....so in a way, this may be my fault but I noticed that I had to correct some missed items whenever we requested a revised copy of our quote, or contract. the guest number would be wrong (from the last version) or it would be the wrong color scheme or the number of chairs wouldnt match the number of people....small things like that I had to always make sure that I kept a keen eye on that and ask for correction or clarification.

OUTSTANDING SERVICE! INCREDIBLE FOOD! WONDERFUL PEOPLE! A GREAT CATERING COMPANY! From our first interaction with Stefanie at our initial consult, to the day of our wedding and seeing the beautiful room they created for our wedding reception, all of it-- PHENOMENAL! Stefanie was so genuine, so sweet, and easy to work with, in getting our catering details situated. And then you talk about the day of the wedding?!?! EVERYBODY on the staff was incredible. My compliments to Billy and his team who helped take care of all our guests during the reception. They were SO ATTENTIVE to each person there, making sure we were comfortable! The catering display they had of appetizers and food were all so professionally done.... attention to detail was evident everywhere! My husband's parents still comment to this day about how impressed they were with our wedding and the service Peartrees Catering provided. Peartree catering catered our wedding in July in Coronado California. Peartree went over and beyond on their catering services. Their staff were very friendly and extreamly helpful. I was impressed with the quality and taste of food, AMAZING! I dealt with Tricia and I have to say she is the most amazing person. Very professional, helpful, organized and all around amazing! I could always get ahold of someone if I had questions. I would highly recommend Peartree catering to everyone. I hope to use them again some day. Thank you Peartree for making our wedding more then we could ever imagine!
