Pebbles Bridal

I have only gone to Pebbles during the week (3 times so far) and I must say, they are AWESOME! Everyone is very friendly and helpful. I planned on purchasing my dress there, but I found it at a sample sale and couldn't pass up the price. I plan to get my bridesmaids dresses there. Most other bridal salons I went to did not compare!

Update: I took my mom the other day on a whim to find her dress... And we did! My mom had tried on a dress at another salon the day before, when we explained to them what we were looking for they started helping us look through all the dresses (my mom is getting a "bridesmaid" dress and even when we thought we were done they showed us more. I can't recommend them enough!

Last update: We got all of the dresses. 3 of my 4 BMs dresses were a little too small and had to be let out. It was a little frustrating because it was all in the same spot and Pebbles should have been aware of this, but may not be since they don't do the alterations on BM dresses. Overall the service and quality were fabulous!

My cousin brought me here because this is where she got her dress. Chantelle was the one who helped me out. First she let me choose what I wanted to try on, so I tried on a couple. One of them I really liked which was the Maggie Sottero "Vienna". Then Chantelle goes, let me select some gowns which I think will suit you. She chose a couple and I ended buying Chantelle's pick! It was the Pronovias "Nectar". I trust them because they know what they're doing. After I bought the gown I got buyer's remorse and called Monica at the shop to let her know my feelings. She was very patient with me. I went back and brought my FI's sister and then my sister to check out the dress. After 2 visits I was sure this was the one. It's funny because Susie said she knew in the end that I would stick with my gown. I am very happy with their service. Each time I tried on the gown, I had Chantelle and Monica holding my dress tight and they would just let me stare at myself with the veil on too. I ordered my gown in August and I'm not getting it until December 22! My wedding is on January 10. The prices are very reasonable. :)

I was insearch of my perfect gown for a very long time and had finally found it here at Pebbles. The services are the very best. I already had my ideal gown and they were able to select variations of my preference. I came back a few times and had finally made my decision after th 4 times.

this is where I found the dress unfortunatly they mostly have sample sizes of 8 and 10...and I am not either of those...but it laced up in the back...so I got a pretty good idea of how it looked...but I took one of my bridesmaids with me...and she said that its the one...I am going later this week with my mom...and I might have my dress...yeah!!!!!

The girls that work there are very sweet...not as helpful as other places..but they have a lot of people to deal with so its understandable...a nice thing about Pebble is that they have a huge selection of bridesmaids dresses...

I recommend going on a weekday...cause it gets Busssssyyyyyy....on the weekends

Pebbles has a FANTASTIC selection of beautiful dresses. I spent a whole 10 seconds explaining to the friendly woman what kind of dress I was looking for. She knew EXACTLY what I was looking for without me saying that much about it and brought out tons of dresses, all of which were exactly what I wanted. I would recommend them over and over again.

Just a note...STAY AWAY FROM LILY'S BRIDAL in Tarzana, CA. I would recommend NOT giving them your business. They are a small store with minimal to NO selection of dresses, therefore, need to be high pressured to make up for the sales. They make up their own prices on pressing and alterations and do not work with the bride once you give them your credit card. I am sorry, but they told me a size 12 dress would be altered to my size 2 body. Can you say, "DESPERATE TO MAKE A SALE!!!" Don't trust them!!

GO TO PEBBLES!!!

i LOVE pebbles bridal. they were so helpful and never pressured me to buy anything. they took their time and never rushed me. (ive been to some salons like that. UGH.)my sister as well as myself purchased our wedding gowns here and were nothing but pleased!

I have had a great experience at Pebbles!! I found my dress, my veil, my tiara and all of my ceremony accesories all in one place. It's a one stop shop that has a lot of variety and the best prices in town!! It's a very comfortable no frills kind of atmosphere, but what they carry is very high end and the value is incredible!! Wether you are a budget savvy bride or a glamour girl looking for that amazing dress, both will strike gold!!

Update - 3 Stars:
In visiting various stores looking for my wedding dress, I came to this store as my friend had a good experience buying her dress here. I have to say that I was not impressed this time around. They have a "walk-in" policy rather than taking appointments, which worked fine for me, but I can see how this might have gone poorly if I had come at a busy time. Also, even with the "walk-in" policy, the person who was originally helping me left me to go work with someone else and gave me a new person who didn't know what I liked, etc. That said, all of the associates were very nice and (once I repeated my gown preferences) very helpful. However, the reason for the lower stars than before was that: (1) the rooms were small and had no mirrors so to see anything you had to step out of the room, which meant I came out with more showing frequently than I would have preferred, (2) their sizing options were not very good for my figure, which although I am not small, I felt keeping primarily sizes 8 and 10 with a very few 6s and 16s thrown in was not very helpful in the trying-on process (especially considering many other stores seemed to stock more 12s, which DID fit me), and (3) I'm not sure their prices are as good as some other places I visited. I don't think I'll likely be going back, but at least the people were nice. Perhaps for smaller brides this would be a good place to come to try on dresses, but it didn't work out so well for me.

I have limited experience with Pebbles Bridal, but the experiences I had were all very good. It's not super fancy or anything, but I like to think they pass the savings along ;).

I found my bridesmaid dress here and my friend got her wedding dress here. I believe she also had her alterations done here and was quite satisfied. The prices were pretty good and the associates were always very helpful. They never rushed us along or made us feel like we were wasting their time, which is not the case at some other salons!

I thought that their selection and variety in terms of both bridal and bridesmaids dresses was good, although not the largest selection, it doesn't matter if you have the largest as long as you have what we want -- and they did! We got bride, bridesmaids, and mothers' dresses here. That's 5 for 5!

Their parking is fairly easy (in a strip mall). They sell other items in the store (shoes, veils, tiaras, jewelry, etc.) but we did not buy any of that. All in all, very solid and great service. I recommend them.

Pebbles is an amazing boutique. My older sister got her dress here and so naturally I wanted to check out the place too. First of all...try to go to the boutique on early weekdays to avoid the madness , especially since they don't take any appointments..purely first come first serve basis. I was overwhelmed the first time I came because there was a long line of brides just waiting for their turn.

So I decided to return the second time after trying on a dozen dresses from other boutique. I came on Monday at noon and had the entire place to myself...that was so fun.I felt like a kid in a candy store :). Monica helped me find my DREAM DRESS right away. That was it...I got that tingling feeling that everyone was talking about when you know you put on the one. My sister just said "wow" and I saw myself in the mirror and couldn't stop smiling.

I bought the dress, got the hollow to hem measurement and now awaiting for Nov to come so I can pick up my dress.

I visited this store after a friend of mine, whose wedding I attended and wore a beautiful dress, purchased her dress there. The sales staff was very laid back and helpful. There was no pressure, just a sincere desire to help me find the best dress - at least at their store - for me. I have not chosen my dress yet, but there are 2 very affordable options at Pebbles on my list now.

I visired Pebbles Bridal MANY times before finally deciding on my dream dress and the staff never got annoyed with me! Ther are super friendly and the gown selection is outstanding!

I bought my junior bridesmaids dresses at Pebbles. They were very helpful and had a lot of patience. I did not know the designer of the dress we were lookin gfor but somehow they found it. Plus it was less expensive than in the other bridal stores I had been to. They have great customer service.

This was the first place I visited and ultimately the place where I ordered my dress. I came in the first time on a whim without really knowing what I was looking for and the staff was helpful in making some great recommendations based on my loose descriptions. I tried on 10 dresses my first day and, even though it was a holiday, I felt like I got plenty of attention and help. The second time I came back with my mom and sister and I found "the dress." I went back a third time after trying on more dresses elsewhere, torn between my final two choices. The girls at Pebbles were great at trying to help me weigh the features of each dress and what would look best on me. They were honest without being too pushy in either direction, which I appreciated. They let me spend a nice long time in my dress, looking in the mirror and moving around. In the end, that was enough to help me make up my mind. Overall Pebbles has a great selection, the most competitive prices I've found and a very friendly staff. My one complaint is that I was not able to take photos of my dress until I ordered it.

I love Pebble's Bridal. Its not the fanciest store, but the selection is great and the service is friendly. I've worked with all three of the girls and they all have been very accomodating - even when I came in (a few times) to try on my own jewelery, shoes, veil with the sample gown. :)

My gown arrived a week early and looks amazing. I can't wait to wear it!

Although I haven't actually purchased a gown at Pebbles Bridal (in Woodland Hills) I have been in the store to look for and try on gowns several times. Every time I'm in the store they're helpful & curtious. I've always delt with Monica, who IMO, is the nicer of the two sisters.

I highly recommend them for a first time bridal store visit.

I L-O-V-E Pebbles and adore Monica! Pebbles has an amazing selection with a wide variety of prices, and Monica is a gem! This was the first store where I felt I wasn't limited by my budget - about a thousand - and where every dress that I tried on was gorgeous! Monica was amazing too, she was very attentive, reassuring, and helpful - and not only with dresses, she gave me the name of a cheap DJ because she is also planning her own wedding. I found the dress I had been searching everywhere for and didn't think existed because I couldn't find it (Maggie Sottero "Vienna"), I bought it and the veil (also very beautiful and wonderfully priced - $150) the same day as my appointment. I never once felt pressure to buy the same day, I just knew that this was dress and that the price was right! Truly Pebbles and Monica are beautiful gems in a sea of Bridal Gowns!! You won't be disappointed!!

This bridal salon is large and has a great selection of affordable dresses. Their service was pretty standard. They help you get the dresses from the rack and help you get into them in the dressing rooms. They do not try to sell you or pressure you to buy anything.

I always had a good experience here. The girls were very nice. I dreaded dress shopping – my Jasmine Couture H338 was the first dress I saw, the 2nd one I tried on, and I was sold. I was so happy I found a dress so fast that I didn’t care to pay their price. I’m sure I could have found a better price, but I liked the place. My gown arrived 3 weeks early and in perfect condition!

Wonderful service! The staff was very helpful and let me try on endless dresses without getting annoyed. I finally found "the one" and even though I wasn't quite ready to buy it, they were so nice about it. I came back a few weeks later when my mom was in town and finally bought it!

After reading all the good reviews, I decided to make the hour drive to pebbles. I liked that you could take your time looking around without anyone pressuring you. I picked my five dresses and found the one. It was maggie sottero "brittanya". I bought it on the spot. I was never pressured to buy a veil, tiara, etc. I also got my alterations done there at a reasonable price and bought a headband at my last fitting. They were always really helpful and I had a great experience there.

this is where i bought my dress, although it has not come in yet. this is a family operated store and everyone has been so helpful and honest with me. especially chantelle, who let me know that a dress i was considering ordering would not look right once shortened to my height. beyond the awesome selection, and good service, the best thing about pebbles is the prices. Everything here is HUNDREDS less than other salons. i actually found my pronovias dress at lili, but pebbles was able to quote me on the same dress for $425 cheaper!! needless to say i ordered it at pebbles. will update when the dress comes in and the alterations are done.

My dress arrived at Pebbles exactly when they said it would and in perfect condition. The hollow-to-hem was exactly right! So happy with the way it worked out! I also found a gorgeous Pronovias veil there and ordered it! I will update when that arrives too! Pebbles is awesome! I still HIGHLY recommend.

I chose to go to Pebbles Bridal because three other brides I know (one is my sister-in-law) got their dresses there and I remembered how nice they were when we went to get my sister-in-law's wedding dress and our bridesmaid dresses. So when my fiance proposed I had no intention of going to another store.

The girls that work there are so so sweet. I actually ended up purchasing a dress that they picked for me. I'm 5 feet and weigh 105 pounds, so I knew finding a dress would be really difficult for me, but the one they picked was the first one I tried on and when I came out my entire party and I got teary-eyed because of how beautiful the dress was and how I looked and felt in it.

Pebbles is definitely the way to go if you want your wedding dress shopping to be an unforgettable, personal, and relaxing experience! They also gave me a discount on the bridesmaid dresses because I have six girls!

I really liked the ladies at Pebbles. You walk in and look through the racks of dresses by yourself (or with a friend). It was the very first place that I went, so I was kind of just looking around aimlessly. I might actually go back now that I have more of an understanding of what I actually like.

If you're interested in checking out the gamut of dresses in an unobtrusive way, Pebble's is a great place for you.

Pebbles Bridal carries a great selection, they won't look at you funny if you try on more than three dresses, you don't need to have an appointment, the alterations are great, they are fairly priced and they are on time!

I picked out my bridesmaid dresses from this store as it was close by to where I lived and they carried the designer of the dresses that I wanted (Belsoie). It's a cute little shop in Woodland Hills that is family operated. It was very busy on the weekend and as we were only getting bridesmaid dresses, we were definetly not top priority so I would recommend going during the week if you can. The dresses turned out perfectly though as I was worried since my girls ordered different styles and we had a few fabric changes. They came in a little too close to the wedding ( only 2 weeks before) but otherwise they were very nice and accomodating. A nice alternative to David's Bridal standard bridesmaid dresses!

I had a great experience here. They had a very large selection and the girls there were very nice, helpful and patient, especially when I wanted to try on a bunch of gowns :) Their service was fast and efficient and I would really reccomend them to everyone.

I looked so many places for gowns and Pebbles was where I decided to buy my gown! They have a wonderful selection and the women are very helpful. I definitely recommend Pebbles!

The girls that work there are really helpful. I was unsure of even what type of dress would look good on me, and they were great at showing me different styles. However, I was not impressed with the small selection of dresses that they had. I was interested in several Pronovias gowns that I had seen online, they had none of them. Helpful store, poor selection.

I visited the store when I first started my gown search. It was full of all kinds of styles and the staff was really helpful and did not put pressure on me to make a purchase. I did not end up getting my dress here because they didn't have a sample in stock. I would still recommend stopping here to try on various styles and get a feel for what you like.

Monica helped me and was very sweet throughout the whole process. There was no high-pressure sales vibe at all. Monica was honest about what flattered me most, which I really appreciated.

I went to Pebbles in Woodland Hills. For first-time dress shoppers go to Pebbles. They have a vast selection of dresses with various designers. They take walk-ins and are very attentive to your needs. There price ranges vary and they have a huge selection of sample gowns for fraction of the cost. I had a great experience after my not-so-great experience at a previous bridal salon. Also at Pebbles for the first time I tried on several Maggie Sottero dresses and a 10 fit perfectly.

We tried on dresses at Pebbles, and guiltily ordered online to save money, but I can't recommend Pebbles enough! They were very nice, great selection, and no pressure whatsoever to buy. If I'd had the money, I would have paid the extra just to give them the business.

I found my bridesmaids dresses at Pebbles Bridal in Woodland Hills. I had looked at bridesmaids dresses for months, but I had never seen the designer (Saison Blanche) I ended up choosing at any of them. The staff at Pebbles let us peruse the dresses, with no pressure at all. We could try on as many as we liked. Once I chose a dress, they were very helpful in getting all the sizing information from my girls so I didn't have to.

I did have one pregnant bridesmaid that had the baby about 3 months before the wedding. They WAY over estimated her size when they ordered it, so she ended up spending more on alterations than she did on the original dress. So, if you have a pregnant bridesmaid, be sure to take her measurements early on in the pregnancy (maybe around 3 or 4 months), even before you know the specifics about the dress. It will save a lot of headache and potentially a lot of money in alterations.

Pebbles Bridal is the perfect one stop shop for all your Wedding attire! I would highly recommend this shop to all Bride's to be. Don't let Pebbles simple interior and exterior fool you. This quaint family owned business does not skimp on quality, selection or service. The staff is very professional, honest and extremely knowledgeable. I purchased my Wedding gown though them and was so impressed that I ended up also purchasing my Bridesmaid Dresses, Mother of the Bride Dress, Flower girl Dress, and misc. other Wedding necessities. Pebbles Bridal surpassed all my expectations! Money well spent and well worth it!

I was thrilled with the service I recieved at Pebbles. They were very nice and extremely helpful. It did get busy for awhile while I was there but with the prices and the fact that you dont need a appointment its no wonder why. I found the perfect dress and was able to buy it that day off the rack at a GREAT price. The dress selection was amazing too, they had better dresses then anywhere else I had gone.

My bridesmaids and I went to Pebbles a few weeks ago to look at bridesmaid dresses. They have a wide selection of styles and colors, and are really quite helpful.

I have bridesmaids of different shapes and heights and it is important to me to find something universally flattering. With the help of one of the salesgirls, I found the perfect dress.

Great selection, really friendly staff with affordable prices. Unpretentious and no need for appointments too. I liked them a lot but they didn't carry the dress that I eventually fell in love with. Still, I definitely recommend going there for girls on a budget.

This is the best store that I have attended. Service was great.

I had a really bad experience with this store and as a result almost didn't have a dress for my wedding. I was measured to fit into a particular size, asked the person helping me if she thought I could exercise and fit into a smaller size. She said she thought I could and so we ordered a smaller size(2 sizes smaller!!!) I had no idea that you NEVER order a dress smaller, you always take it in if you need to.Needless to say, I didn't get into the size that was ordered and I was really upset that she never took responsibility for poor advice(or No advice) It was not pointed out that I had signed paperwork that stipulated the store takes no responsibility for the size that gets ordered-It was all very crazy and exciting and I stupidly didn't read through what I signed, but it was also never verbally pointed out. The whole experience was so stressful and distressing, and I was made to feel like it was my fault-for choosing the wrong size, and also for not being able to lose the weight. It really tainted my dress experience, so be careful when working with this store-and NEVER go smaller on a dress. I learned the hard way, and with no guidance from the person I trusted at the store.

Pebbles Bridal is convenient because they take walk-ins and you can pick all the gowns off the rack yourself. However, they only carry one sample of each dress in an 8 or 10. If you're petite it's hard to gauge how a dress is really going to look when you're trying on a 10, and we saw girls who were size 14+ squeezing into size 8 dresses.

The girls at the store were polite with me, but one of my friends said a couple employees gave her a hard time for picking out dresses for me (I had asked her to since she knew exactly what I was looking for, and you can only pick 5 at a time and have to change back to your clothes to go look).

Overall I'd say it's a great place to look at styles (especially if you're just beginning to look) but it's like being in a department store, not a wedding boutique. Also, bring your own petticoat and bustier cause the ones they have aren't flattering to the gowns at all.

Terrific selection and very good service. Prices are very affordable too. Bought both my bridesmaids' and my own dress there. Everyone was very professional and my dress came in earlier than expected. I send all my newly engaged friends to Pebbles!

Pebbles Bridal was wonderful! After another bridal store had been terribly rude, I took my dress to Pebbles for alterations. They were so accommodating to agree to do the hem and bustle, even though I'd bought my dress elsewhere. And I shouldn't have - I found out later that Pebble's prices were much better! They were also knowledgeable and patient - they made my dress look perfect!

This is the place for you if you're looking for something in between a couture gown and a discount gown. The prices are reasonable and they had several dresses I really liked. My friend recommended this shop to me and now I'm her fourth friend to find a dress at Pebbles.

It's a family owned and run shop and the staff was very helpful. They don't make appointments, so you can just walk in. I went first thing Saturday morning and got plenty of attention until the store started getting busy. It can get crowded, so definitely try to go during the week or first thing in the morning so you're the first one there.

They were great. Always available to help and really honest. I brought multiple people each time, and came back several times. They were always helpful and glad to help. Recommended highly.

I am the MOH for my friend who is getting married this December. After reading the glowing reviews for Pebbles, I suggested that she start there for her wedding gown search. I thought the selection was good and the prices were really good. However, the service we received was not good. We had Chantelle and she never even introduced herself or bothered to crack a smile. She kind of stood there like a wet blaket handing my friend the dresses she selected.

If I could give 2.5 stars I would because I definitely think Pebbles is worth the trip. If you can, avoid Chantelle. It looks like the other women were much nicer and more helpful than she was.

Updated 3/28 - My friend went back to Pebbles to purchase her dress and had a much better experience. The family who owns/run Pebbles assisted her and were very nice and helpful. If I could increase my rating I would. The key is to work with one of the family members and not Chantelle.

My experience with Pebbles was a breath of fresh air! This family run business was a pleasure to work with. The atmosphere and attitude of the staff was not only helpful, fun, and professional, they were honest. Obviously, their interests were in the best interest of the client not dollar signs. Monica was gracious, experienced, and obviously great at what she does. I would absolutely recommend this vendor to anyone who is looking for beautiful quality wedding dresses.

I am glad that the rest of the brides here have had positive experiences with Pebbles Bridal. I, on the other hand, have not. I live in South Carolina and went to visit my sister who lives in L.A. We went to try on dresses at Pebbles. Great experience at the time. I found two dresses that I loved, one of which was "the one". I filled out a card, yada yada. I called them the other day to ask if I could find out who the designers were of the two dresses in order to look them up online and pick the one I wanted. The lady on the phone told me that they lost my card and they have no record of me even visiting their store. Then I asked her to help me out if I described the dress. She then told me "why should I help you locate your dress if your not coming back into my store to buy it from me". How rude!!!

Pebbles Bridal has such a great selection and friendly service!
