I could not say enough great things about Jim! While the stress of the wedding, planning the vacation of a lifetime to a destination I knew nothing about was something I am so glad I left to a professional. Excellent value and totally worth it! We had a Q&A session with Jim so he could find out what we were looking for in a honeymoon, and he picked out the perfect destination and hotels for us. He stayed true to our budget and really gave us the most bang for our buck. The informational packet he sent along was very thorough and clear. We decided to work with Perfect Honeymoons after receiving many word of mouth recommendations from friends. Jim was extremely helpful and added to the fun of the honeymoon planning process. Of course with the days of internet trip booking we were at first considering doing the planning ourselves to save money but once we received our quote from Jim for our honeymoon we realized that it was IMPOSSIBLE to get the same deal through any website. We worked with Jim from Perfect Honeymoons to plan our once in a lifetime vacation and we could not be any happier. Through our initial consult, Jim was able to match us with the right type of destination and resort. We were leaning towards Mexico from the beginning and Jim matched us up with the Riviera Maya area...it ended up being exactly what we had hoped for! We wanted a romantic hideaway and that is exactly what we found at Maroma Resort & Spa for the first half of our honeymoon. We unfortunately got rained on for 3 of the 4 days we were there, but we enjoyed our time there regardless because the phenomenal service and attention to detail that this resort provided more than made up for anything that we missed out on due to the weather. We were treated like royalty and it was really a dream vacation. My husband was interested in also checking out an all inclusive resort and so Jim suggested we try Royal Hideaway. The sun finally came out to stay for our time there and we really enjoyed this resort as well. We were very close to the main city and so we were able to easily explore the local area. Overall, this was definitely the best vacation we have ever taken and we really thank Jim for all of his help in making it all happen for us! :)

Recommend 100%!!! Jim was laid back and listened to what we were looking for in our honeymoon. We met with him beforehand and he interviewed us and ended up making his suggestion after he got a feel for our personalities and what it was we wanted to do! Jim is awesome! We first met him at a Bridal Show and out of all the travel agents we met that day, Jim gave us the best impression. Jim planned the perfect itinerary for our Costa Rican honeymoon. We told him what activities we wanted to do and he planned our entire 10 day honeymoon for us. Jim at Perfect Honeymoons did an absolute wonderful job in ensuring that we had the honeymoon of our dreams. We were fortunate to spend two wonderful weeks in the French Polynesian Islands. We stayed in Moorea for one week and then Bora Bora for our final week. Our travel to and from Tahiti was unbelievable. We had direct flights for all of our travel and no long layovers. This made our experience so much more relaxing and enjoyable. The accomodations that were recommended were exceptional. We stayed at the Inter Continental hotel in Moorea as well as in Bora Bora. The accomodations at Bora Bora were unbelievable. The resort was very modern and our hut was truly amazing. I'm so glad that we went to Jim as he interviewed us to ensure that we had a truly amazing experience.

My husband and I have traveled quite a bit and we were pretty picky when it came to attempting to select a honeymoon destination. Meeting with Jim at Perfect Honeymoons was the best thing we could have done--not only did he help us select the ideal trip for us (French Polynesia--Tahiti, Bora Bora and Moorea), but he found us a great deal at the nicest resorts we've ever been to. We had the time of our lives during a perfect two weeks in paradise, and on top of that, all of the logistics went so smoothly--all of the transfers, shuttles, pick-ups, departures, reservations, etc. One of the hotels upgraded us for free because Jim had told them we were honeymooners. We really could not have been happier and we give Jim (who is such a nice guy, to boot) a lot of credit for that. The only downside is that now it is so much harder to come home and go back to work! Perfect Honeymoons definitely lived up to its name and we will not hesitate to use the company for future travel--I have already recommended Jim to several of my engaged friends and they have also booked their trips through him.

We recently used Jim for our honeymoon to the French Polynesian and we couldn't have asked for a better trip. We went in to our first meeting not knowing where to go and came out with the best honeymoon ever. While we were on the island during our trip we received a big fruit basket with a note that said Jim had upgraded our room for us to an over-water bungalow! We had never used a travel agent before and were skeptical before meeting with Jim but just wanted some ideas. Now, we will never book another vacation or trip with out him. The service was excellent and Jim was the utmost professional. He far exceeded our expectations. The honeymoon was everything we could ever wish for. We contacted Jim Augerinos and started planning a honeymoon in Maui and Kaui, two of the Hawaiian islands. The honeymoon was perfect--Jim was able to get us into hotels and restaurants that we would certainly not have been able to afford if we tried to plan the honeymoon ourselves. He gave us great advice on what we should see and do while we were there, and was very familiar with the area. He was totally flexible if we needed something changed. Perfect Honeymoons literally planned out the "perfect" Hawaiian honeymoon for my wife and I last August. We were so impressed that we used them again this month to plan our 1-year anniversary trip. And we couldn't have asked for a better trip.In typical fashion, our travel specialist Jim attended to every last detail. That is, Jim helped us select where we wanted to be based upon what WE wanted to do (Turks and Caicos), booked the airfare, recommended and then secured an unpublished room rate (for one of the finer suites at the Regent Palms), provided numerous restaurant recommendations, warned us of restaurants to avoid, and gave us a list of must-do activities (e.g., Caicos Dream Tours). Jim was amazing. My husband gets very stressed out planning holidays. He does tons of research and looks at reviews of places and tries to figure out the best flight, price, place to stay etc. This entails hours of frustration and stress. My husband and I used Jim Augerinos from Perfect Honeymoons & Holidays for our honeymoon. We traveled all over Australia for 3 weeks (a complicated itinerary) and had a great experience. Everything went seamlessly. Jim booked all car transfers, hotels, and most of our excursions. He was even able to recommend (and book in advance) the spa services we should get at the different resorts! Everything he recommended & booked was fantastic. He was also able to get us upgrades and/or honeymoon specials at most hotels in which we stayed. We had such a great time, that we just used him for another trip last week, and plan to use him for our one year anniversary trip as well. Jim is very experienced with booking travel, has been to most if not all of the destinations he books, and has great first hand knowledge of where you get the most for your money. He asks you and your fiance to fill out a survey about your likes/dislikes before you meet, and when you do speak, he is willing to explore any ideas you have and usually recommends a couple of different locations/itineraries that best fit your personalities. I would absolutely recommend Jim for any honeymoon or romantic vacation you are planning. He is amazing and you will not be disappointed!

Jim Augerinos was fabulous! We had some ideas where we wanted to go for our honeymoon and an approximate budget and he gave us several options and helped narrow them down, without making us feel cornered. For our honeymoon, we went to St. Lucia and stayed at Jade Mountain. This was hands down the best trip we had ever been on and all future vacations will struggle to compare to our stay here. When we booked, Jim worked out a deal to get us upgraded from a premium room to the lowest room at Jade Mountain. When we got there, we received an upgrade all the way to the premium category at Jade Mountain! Jim knew about the extra upgrade, but didn't want to spoil the surprise for us. I think the staff at Jade Mountain took extra special care of us since we were clients of Jim's. He was very professional, fun, and incredibly helpful... and FREE! He's very knowledgeable about every hotel in the world it seems. He even worked around his schedule to meet with us when we showed up to our first meeting on the wrong day. Jim was awesome and we'll definitely be using him for future vacations! A+

Jim at Perfect Honeymoons really came through for us. We had our honeymoon all set for five nights at St. Lucia. We checked in to the airport that morning to find out that our plane was delayed and we would get to St. Lucia seven hours later than what we intended. We called up Jim at 7 am and he really bent over backwards for us to try and get us down there earlier. We weren't able to jump on an earlier flight, but Jim recommended we should check out Old San Juan while we waited for our connection flight. We had a great time visiting Old San Juan! When we arrived at Sandals Regency Jim had surprised us with a complimentary room upgrade! That really made the trip for us. We were so thoroughly impressed that we decided to extend our stay. Jim was very responsive and was able to waive our change of flight fee. I would highly recommend Jim at Perfect Honeymoons to anyone planning their vacation. His level of service was a pleasant surprise and we will definitely book our future travel through Perfect Honeymoons.

We worked with Jim Augerinos at Perfect Honeymoons & Holidays near Washington, DC, to plan our honeymoon to Barbados. Jim was fantastic to work with. He helped us choose a location that would be warm and perfect weather for the time of year we would be there. He steered us to the exact right resort for us and gave us fabulous recommendations for what to do and where to eat on the island. He was available for any and all questions in person, by phone and by email. He has traveled so extensively that he knows the ins and outs of the island, among just about any other location in the world. My husband and I would work with him again in a heartbeat.

Jim did an absolutely fantastic job giving us the honeymoon of our dreams! We already came to the table with a condo rental in Hawaii, but we had nothing else. He arranged our flights to and from both islands, car rentals, the AMAZING resort we stayed in, etc! We were instantly upgraded when we arrived at the resort, and later got a hand-written card stating that someone in the resort worked with Jim to hand pick our room for us. The room had TWO balconies! One overlooking the ocean, and the other overlooking the mountains. We could not have asked for more in a travel agent. We had a wonderful experience with Perfect Honeymoons. Jim Augerinos planned everything for us perfectly. We had debated about either going somewhere tropical or going to Italy. Jim convinced us that we were right in going with Italy. (I have wanted to go my entire life). My husband and I were definitely glad we did. The hotels Jim chose for us put us in the center of everything. We could not have been better located. He made sure we had transfers to and from the airport and booked our train tickets in advance and got us great seats. We had made revisions on our trip about 3 times because of cost but Jim was patient and made sure that we understood that quality was important. We were of course nervous about how much the cost would be, but Jim expressed that it would be worth it because we would have the service and quality one would want on a honeymoon and after the third revision said he couldn't go any lower and respectfully put his name to it. He was absolutely right. Our hotels were wonderful. We received at bottle of champagne at 2 hotels, a fruit basket every day and a small celebratory cake upon our arrival at our first stop in Venice. We began our trip in Venice and went to Florence and Rome. He encouraged us not to plan any tours or excursions in advance because we would be tired and stressed about having to be places at certain times. Thank god, because I think we would have been absolutely stressed and exhausted. There is plenty to do in all cities and we were able to find some really great tours and options for activities once we arrived at each hotel. Our honeymoon was unforgettable, and Jim made the process so incredibly easy and stress free. We're definitely planning to go back to Italy, and we'll definitely have Jim planning that trip and many more to come.

We had every intention of sending a postcard from Maui when we returned to our room the first day to a tray of goodies and champagne, courtesy of Perfect Honeymoons, but between the beach, pool, and activities, somehow that just did not happen!The weather turned out to be amazing- no rain at all! Every day was about 80 degrees and we went almost every day to the beach, spent many hours by the fountain and infinity pools, ran along the trail by the ocean, and went to the Old Lahaina Luau. Our Mustang convertible was the perfect compliment to the endless beautiful weather and scenery. Thank you again for the treat in our hotel room (they upgraded us from mountain view to garden view, which was gorgeous) and thank you for arranging the most perfect honeymoon! After months of planning and doing nothing except making invitations, programs, and tying ribbons. We were in our way to an oasis of peace and beauty. Our honeymoon planner, Jim A., could not have been more helpful. Initially I was skeptical about using a travel agent. My wife and I are avid and experienced travelers. We have traveled to Europe, Central America, and Africa on multiple occasions. Our travel agent however offers flexibility and connections that only a professional can offer. For instance, we went to two islands in Hawaii for our honeymoon. We stayed at the Sheraton on Maui 5 days into our honeymoon. The Sheraton service was less than desirable (they failed to notify us of a surprise scuba trip our family had previously arranged with the Sheraton). We called Jim after one night and he was able to transfer us to the Ritz for a minimal increase in cost.

Jim provided us with seamless and headache-free honeymoon planning! He listened to us and his suggestions were right on. He was knowledgeable and professional. This honeymoon planner was fantastic. My wife and I were somewhat difficult to get a hold of during the planning process and he worked around our ridiculous schedule and made numerous changes to our itinerary so that we could get exactly what we wanted. There were also some last minute changes to be made when our airline went out of business a month before the wedding, and everything was taken care of quickly and without work on our part. Jim was very knowledgable about hawaii and knew some of the less publicized tricks of the area. We would highly recommend using him if you're considering a honeymoon in the pacific. Happy huntings!

The wedding planning can be time consuming and overwhelming, especially for an out of town bride. It was extremely helpful being able to go to a travel agent and have him help us determine what type of vacation would best fit both of our needs. It eliminated one thing off our to do list. Jim has so much knowledge about what is out there that we really felt like we were able to understand all of our options. He listened to our wishes and meshed our desires in order to come up with 3 possible locations. Jim then provided us with different resorts at each destination that we could preview in order to find the best match for us. We did find an excellent resort and loved every minute of our honeymoon!

Overall, we were very happy and would recommend this service. There were a couple of glitches that worked themselves out such as, our car rental was booked for the wrong days. However, the rental company was able to fix this problem. The reading material that was provided for us was very helpful as well as the actual logistics of planning the trip. For example, booking a long lay over in Oahu so that we could explore the island without staying over night, was very helpful. Additionally, we got an upgraded hotel room in Maui which was very nice! However, when we asked about activities that Jim was unfamiliar with such as taking a helicopter/plane to the Big Island the only help we got was a website recommendation. We got the feeling that asking him to give advice or research activities that he had not experience first had, was outside his comfort zone.

Jim was recommended by our close friends and he was everything we expected. He got us a fair deal for our honeymoon at a resort (Jade Mountain in St. Lucia) that beat expectations by a mile. Some personal attention Jim gave us; he personally dropped off our honeymoon itinerary to our home and had a bottle of wine waiting for us in our hotel.

Jim was very quick to respond to my initial email that I had sent out to set up an appointment to meet with him. He was knowledgeble as he has traveled to many places and was helpful in deciding what may be the perfect honeymoon spot based on what we were looking for. It was very helpful that he had arranged all the flights, hotel, transportation (to and from the hotel/airport) and additional information activities we can do while at the honeymoon destination. Jim had reserved a room with a perfect view in St. Lucia! Having all the planning done by him definitely helped especially during wedding planning when we had other things to do. Jim was the equivalent of our honeymoon psychologist first by asking us each individually about our ideal vacations and then suggesting destinations. It worked perfect and we couldn't have been happier with the Caribbean. Jim was extremely knowledgeable about the trip and all of his tips were spot on. One of the little things we appreciated was that he sat down with us for almost and hour after everything was done (trip booked, money paid, etc) and went through suggestions of things to do at each stop. I would imagine at this point, some travel agents would maybe move on to the next deal, but Jim really looks after his clients and you can tell he geniuenly cares about your trip and gets excited about the planning! We would strongly recommend him to others.

I first contacted Jim of Perfect Honeymoons in August 2008 to find out more about him and to see if he was available to help plan my May 2009 honeymoon. My husband and I traveled from Ellicott City, MD to Vienna, VA where Jim’s office is located to meet with him. During our first meeting Jim was wonderful. He was personable and met with us for over an hour to get to know us and to offer us a few suggestions for the honeymoon.
We left feeling elated; Jim had offered us two wonderful suggestions (Hawaii and Costa Rica). We had not considered Costa Rica and ultimately decided that this was the destination for us. We also decided to use Perfect Honeymoon and Holidays to book our honeymoon because we thought Jim was the best. All the reviews we read indicated that Jim would be great to work with throughout the planning process.
We first felt resistance from Jim when we inquired about a few hotels that he had not personally visited. He clearly did not want to book us with these hotels, although at the time we did not know why.
We finalized all our plans and paid the deposit to the booking company that Jim uses – he did not book our trip himself, he used a third party to book our trip.
In November I decided to price out our trip myself and found a drastic ($2,000) difference between what we were paying through Jim and my research. My husband e-mail Jim to inquire about the differences and e-mailed him an outline of what I had found online. We had no problem paying Jim’s price, but we wanted an explanation of the differences. We did not hear back from Jim for weeks. When he finally responded to us his answer was “When we book a package they do not give me a breakdown of the costs just a grand total of everything. So I cannot provide you with a line item summary of each of the charges.” This response was in mid-November. My husband and I had to contact the third party booking agent after we waited to hear back from Jim for weeks. Finally around Christmas the pricing fiasco was resolved. Jim agreed to take off his personal undisclosed $100 fee for the initial honeymoon planning consultation and any future correspondence, putting together the itinerary and 24-hour customer service during the honeymoon, any overnight fees and personalized travel tips and notifying the hotels that we are honeymooners. We were also refunded an undisclosed fee from his third party booking agent.
It’s a good thing that these fees were removed because we had huge issues at the end of our honeymoon and Jim was impossible to reach. We tried contacting him several times, but he only made himself available several days after our initial phone call/e-mail. Our last hotel also had no idea that we were on our honeymoon.
Once the fee issues were resolved we were perfectly fine with Jim again. The evening before our final payment was due in late April Jim sent us a reminder and the balance. We promptly completed the form and sent in our credit card information. The next day Jim sent us an e-mail to let us know that one of our prepaid excursions was cancelled due to an earthquake that occurred in January. I called Jim to see if there would be a refund (and to ask why he hadn’t notified us of this before April since the earthquake occurred in June) and he couldn’t tell me exactly how much the excursion cost. We then looked a little further and found out that he never adjusted the price of our trip to account for the refund for the undisclosed fees. This was the icing on the cake and not what any bride or groom needs mere weeks before a wedding.
My husband was able to sort out all of our issues, but we were almost afraid to say anything for fear that something would go wrong on our honeymoon due to Jim.
Planning the honeymoon was the most stressful part of the wedding planning process and my husband expressed this to Jim during a face-to-face meeting. Jim admitted during this time that he was not receiving all of his e-mails which could have been why he was not responding to us for such long periods of time. In summary this was a very disappointing experience for such a highly rated vendor.

My husband and I had never used a travel agent before, but when we started to plan our honeymoon to Greece and we knew we wanted to go to a couple of different islands, and we wanted to make sure the places we were staying were nice, we knew we should get a travel agent. We had heard great reviews about Jim and he definitely lived up to them. He sat and talked with us for about an hour, got to know what we wanted and than he built a honeymoon that was by far the most perfect trip I have ever been on. The places we stayed were amazing from Athens to the view of the acropolis to santorini and our amazing room to finally an upgrade in Crete, than i am sure we wouldn't have gotten without Jim ( we got a room with our own private pool, it was amazing!). The whole trip was perfect and we can thank Jim for that, we had no worries or concerns, he gave us detailed itinerary and it was the perfect start to our marriage and life together. I know that if we are planning a trip in the future we will use Jim, and I highly recommend him! He definitely gets an A!

We had some ideas where we wanted to go for our honeymoon and an approximate budget and he gave us several options and helped narrow them down, without making us feel cornered. For our honeymoon, we went to St. Lucia and stayed at Jade Mountain. This was hands down the best trip we had ever been on and all future vacations will struggle to compare to our stay here. When we booked, Jim worked out a deal to get us upgraded from a premium room to the lowest room at Jade Mountain. When we got there, we received an upgrade all the way to the premium category at Jade Mountain! Jim knew about the extra upgrade, but didn't want to spoil the surprise for us. I think the staff at Jade Mountain took extra special care of us since we were clients of Jim's. He was very professional, fun, and incredibly helpful... and FREE! He's very knowledgeable about every hotel in the world it seems. He even worked around his schedule to meet with us when we showed up to our first meeting on the wrong day. We just got back from our Costa Rica honeymoon that Perfect Honeymoons planned for us. It was AWESOME! We didn't want to leave! It was the perfect honeymoon trip. We, love, love, love how they designed the trip to be both relaxing and filled with adventure. Every step of the way was flawless from the amazing hotels to the transfers. In country known for being relaxed and late, even the transfers were early. It was so amazing that we want to go back! Perfect Honeymoons and Jim went above and beyond to help us.

Jim at Perfect Honeymoons really came through for us. We had our honeymoon all set for five nights at St. Lucia. We checked in to the airport that morning to find out that our plane was delayed and we would get to St. Lucia seven hours later than what we intended. We called up Jim at 7 am and he really bent over backwards for us to try and get us down there earlier. We weren't able to jump on an earlier flight, but Jim recommended we should check out Old San Juan while we waited for our connection flight. We had a great time visiting Old San Juan! When we arrived at Sandals Regency Jim had surprised us with a complimentary room upgrade! That really made the trip for us. We were so thoroughly impressed that we decided to extend our stay. Jim was very responsive and was able to waive our change of flight fee.

My husband and I used Jim Augerinos from Perfect Honeymoons & Holidays for our honeymoon. We traveled all over Australia for 3 weeks (a complicated itinerary) and had a great experience. Everything went seamlessly. Jim booked all car transfers, hotels, and most of our excursions. He was even able to recommend (and book in advance) the spa services we should get at the different resorts! Everything he recommended & booked was fantastic. He was also able to get us upgrades and/or honeymoon specials at most hotels in which we stayed. We had such a great time, that we just used him for another trip last week, and plan to use him for our one year anniversary trip as well. Jim is very experienced with booking travel, has been to most if not all of the destinations he books, and has great first hand knowledge of where you get the most for your money. He asks you and your fiance to fill out a survey about your likes/dislikes before you meet, and when you do speak, he is willing to explore any ideas you have and usually recommends a couple of different locations/itineraries that best fit your personalities. I would absolutely recommend Jim for any honeymoon or romantic vacation you are planning. He is amazing and you will not be disappointed!

My husband and I have traveled quite a bit and we were pretty picky when it came to attempting to select a honeymoon destination. Meeting with Jim at Perfect Honeymoons was the best thing we could have done--not only did he help us select the ideal trip for us (French Polynesia--Tahiti, Bora Bora and Moorea), but he found us a great deal at the nicest resorts we've ever been to. We had the time of our lives during a perfect two weeks in paradise, and on top of that, all of the logistics went so smoothly--all of the transfers, shuttles, pick-ups, departures, reservations, etc. One of the hotels upgraded us for free because Jim had told them we were honeymooners. We really could not have been happier and we give Jim (who is such a nice guy, to boot) a lot of credit for that. The only downside is that now it is so much harder to come home and go back to work! Perfect Honeymoons definitely lived up to its name and we will not hesitate to use the company for future travel--I have already recommended Jim to several of my engaged friends and they have also booked their trips through him.

We traveled Italy from north to south over two weeks and had a incredibly luxurious trip - much more than we thought we could do on our budget.
When first meeting with Jim he spent over 1.5 with us discussing destinations and what we were looking for, what we like when we travel, what we were expecting - and crafted the perfect vacation, within our budget. He made all the arrangements and it was a HUGE stress reviler with all the other wedding planning! He took the time to know our tastes and did not disappoint.
