Professional staff and courteos, I can't wait to see the pictures.

We have yet to get our photos in hand as we are waiting for our viewing appointment. However, I had a ball with my photographer! He was everywhere but I did not see him unless he wanted me to! We had two photographers and both of them made their presence known when they needed to. I was shown a few photos and I am so happy we made decided to go with Perskie. We also got the photobooth which our guests loved! We received a photo montage that actually brought me to tears! :) I would definitely recommend to family and friends.

Perskie was awesome to work with! They are so kind and down to earth. They really cared about us and what we wanted out of our wedding. My husband is in the military and we had to change our wedding date. Perskie worked with us and was more than willing to switch the date as long as they were available. Our photographers Mike and David were very sweet and kind. We sent photo ideas to them, and they followed through with what we wanted. Perskie met above and beyond our expectations. Their albums are nice and are made to last long. We also had the photo booth at our wedding. Everyone loved it and the girl working the booth was very friendly and talked to everyone. Perskie was worth every penny! I would never choose anyone else!

We would highly recommend Perskie for wedding photography. Our photographer was David. He arrived promptly and began taking pictures right away; setting up the flowers, wedding gown and shoes, etc until we were ready to begin taking pictures of us. His level of professionalism was high, and it was obvious he was passionate about his craft. Throughout the afternoon and evening, David proved to be more than accommodating when taking requests for certain poses, but was also very creative and gave great directions for some innovative shots. To top it off, within 2 weeks a beautiful slideshow with music was made available to us and our families to preview some of our pictures, and one week after that we met to view all photos and discuss our album. Overall, this was a wonderful experience and our photos are more beautiful than we could have imagined. Thank you David!

My husband and I were extremely pleased with our experience with the 2 photographers from Perskie that photographed our daughter's wedding last Friday. Their attention to detail was amazing. Both the bride and groom's extended families are very large (25+). I was amazed how well our main photographer managed all those people to get pictures in the little time we had. We were behind schedule and both photographers stayed beyond their contracted time in order to make sure we had the pictures they wanted to take. In addition, I found the office staff at Perskie very cordial and helpful. I would highly recommend Perskie photographics.

My husband and I couldn't be happier with how great our photos and video looked. It has been such a pleasure to work with Perskie for our album and prints. Jennifer is always very responsive and Nicole is fantastic at designing the album. We met with Nicole several times to review the design and layout and can't wait to see the final product. Val was our photographer and we could really tell he cares about getting the best photos and hustled the whole time. We also used a photo booth and all of the guests raved about how much they enjoyed it!--Definitely a better gift than standard favors. Perskie also did our video and we only wanted documentary coverage of the wedding and reception--It was just stunning and it is so nicely edited together. Thanks for the memories!

Perskie Hands down ALL the WAY. I went the platinum package, and it was totally worth it 100%. 1000% actually. While it is probably a stretch in most people's budget, to all the brides out there - if you put as much work into it as we did, I promise, you will want to remember it as easily as you lived/experienced it on that day. Going with Perskie = Success. I got Two Photographers, a Photobooth (which was a HUGE hit), Videographer (Zach was INCREDIBLE and so nice to work with, a cutey too) and so much more, it really is worth it to work with a company that knows what they're doing the whole way and where the photographers and the videographer know how to coordinate as well as they do. We also get a Beautiful Acrylic wedding album accompanied by two parent albums. The samples in the studio -- Just AH-MAZ-ING. Perskie will layer the background with aspects of your wedding like the print on your wedding dress, or the cake decorations, floral, and then layer pictures over top, it looks so incredible, expensive, and tasteful.

One thing I really appreciate was how good they were at keeping us on track with each and every part of the process, really making the relationship we have with them easy, but detailed, just the way we wanted the outcome of the memories of our wedding day. Val, our main photographer went above and beyond and was truly such a sweetheart and captured such awesome pictures - even in the rain!! He is really creative! I wanted to put him in my pocket (i didn't have pockets), but for sure you will want to give him a big hug before the night is over. Julia, our second photographer, was such a pleasure from the beginning. She was who I spoke to when I was in the stage of deciding on photographers and she answered all of my questions and was SO EASY to talk to.

Perskie in general was such a pleasure to work with, and handled everything with such professionalism, I cannot thank each and every one of their staff that worked with us enough from the beginning when we established a relationship (engagement session) all the way to months after the wedding where I am watching and loving the video and I hope to continue having a relationship with them for future special events! They captured such incredible aspects of the wedding that we didn't see on the wedding day, I am just so grateful to be able to relive it through the photos, the video, the hilarious photobooth pictures! I can go on and on, and to top it all off, they had actually done two couples' weddings we had gone to (small world) where they told us how happy they were with them. So it was referral after referral, and now we will for sure refer them and use them again.

Nicole, Jennifer, Mr. Perskie (Jay) & Mrs. Perskie, Julia, Val, Zach -- Thank you SO SO much for everything :) I can't thank you all enough. I loved how it felt so comfortable at your studio and the whole time.

If I had any advice to give to people searching for photographers, go with Perskie! If you do end up choosing to go with someone else, really rethink the photographers that meet you at the coffeeshop (i learned that lesson the hard way). Sometimes the very reason why they don't have a studio is because they're just not that good.

This is a tough review to write because we really did get some lovely photos. Our photographer, Ken, took some great detail shots and candids. There were also some great shots at the Washington Monument and during our reception. Our reception shots really made me relive our big day! Also the photobooth we ordered from Perskie was a huge hit!

On the other hand, the photographer Perskie was supposed to send had a family emergency the night before our wedding, so Perskie sent Ken and a second photographer for only our ceremony. I had arranged for my bridesmaids and me to stay at a hotel in Harbor East the night before our wedding specifically so we could have *group* shots taken along the water. I wanted these group shots of all of my bridesmaids and me together. I told Perskie this on more than one occasion, as did my mom. Instead Ken proceeded to take all of us to an area behind the hotel with a few trees and lots of concrete. He then took several photos with me posed individually with each of my seven bridesmaids; which took forever. This would be fine if we had unlimited time, but we didn't. Plus if he had just asked me I would have told him I much preferred CREATIVE, fun group shots rather than individual ones that anyone could have taken. To make matters worse, while we ended up with zero photos of me and my bridal party, there are about 50 shots of my now husband and his groomsmen. Some were taken by Ken at the hotel and the rest were taken by the second photographer at the church. This to me indicates a total lack of communication, especially when a few weeks before, my mom had filled out a long detailed worksheet answering all of Perskie’s questions about the photos I, the bride, wanted!

As I said, we do have some great photos, and I'm sure we'll have a lovely album. However, one of my fears about using a photography business (especially one like Perskie that shoots several weddings in a weekend) rather than a solo photographer (who has a blog and really gets to know his/her couples) was that our special, unique requests would just get lost in the system. Some of our experience with Perskie kind of confirmed my fear.

David was our photographer and although we have only seen about 40 of the professional pics so far, we are soooo impressed and happy with his talent!!
We also booked our videographer and a photobooth through Perskie. We havent seen the video yet but the photobooth was a big hit!

We were very impressed with Perkie Photographics! The whole process from choosing our package before the wedding to communicating about which pictures we wanted taken to picking out what we want in our album has been stress-free and fun. They explain everything very well and seem to really care about the details and about us personally. They even carried with them a list of the pictures we wanted and checked them off so they were sure not to forget anything! The cost is a little high but not in comparison to many other photographers and what you get for the cost makes it a good value. They have a lab there for making the albums so it is easier to be involved in the process and it cuts down on the cost.

Colleen was wonderful to work with. She listened to what we wanted and asked us what kind of pictures we were looking for. I have only seen a few pictures so far, but they are great!

Our photographers were fantastic! They were kind, flexible, and fun!! They truly captures exactly what we wanted.

Unfortunately, the attitude of the person at our photo booth was not so inviting. She was rude to my mother, made us get our credit card during our reception to extend the photo booth for an extra hour. She should of just charged our account. In addition, not even half of the pictures taken were put in our album that we paid...

Great pre-set photography packages. Perskie is flexible and can tailor the packages to fit your specific needs. They worked out a package for me that included a separate day-long photoshoot 1 month prior to my wedding reception so that I could show photos at my reception. If you have any specific requests, ask them about it, as they will likely be able to work something out for you.

I was very disappointed with Perski unfortunately. Photographer was not familiar with my venue (swan harbor-a very popular venue) and did not utilize the photo-ops of the beautiful property. My photographer did not take charge of time allotted for pictures (one hour following ceremony) at all...I found our wedding party just standing around and I had to request to do different poses and fun pictures. I had NO pictures of my tables/center pieces/decorative flowers...Huge deal!! I had maybe 5 photos of guests during dinner. Photographer's flash would not work. I did have a few very good pictures of my husband and I which I am greatful for. Bottom line...I do not feel as though my day was captured by the photos I received, which is the only thing I really wanted from a photographer. And definately not worth the money I spent.

Returned emails/calls in timely fashion. Photographer was on time. Making appointments at the studio was easy and they were very flexible and professional.

From the day I stepped foot in the Perskie Photography Studio, It has been a joy and pleasure to work with this family owned studio. Perskie not only took the pictures for the wedding, but we had an engagment session with them as well. The photos from the engagement were absolutely beautiful and we were super impressed.
For our wedding on 6/4/2011 we had the pleasure of having both David and Julia as our two photographers. They were energetic, inventive, and bold. They took a wide range of photos making sure to incorporate all of the must have shots as well as capturing the moments! They were very attentive to detail and the cameras never stopped flashing! They were a pleasure to work with and Kurt and I are so excited to see our proofs and album. I would recommend their services with the highest regards both photo and video. Zach who was in charge of our videography was great. He was attentive and interactive, making sure to capture all the must see moments!!!!

I fell in love with Perskie ever since I had my first consult with them, and was absolutely thrilled with the services I recieved from them!

I had 2 photographers the day of my wedding and they were very receptive to the requests I had the day of. They were so flexible, and were very respectful of my family and I. After we finished the formal pictures, they did an exceptional job of blending in, and not being obtrusive during the ceremoney and the reception. They listened to the type of pictures we wanted, and did an excellent job of taking the type of pictures that reflect my husband and I.

I have not recieved my album yet, but I can not wait to see my pictures!

Very easy to work with and flexible in the packages they offer.

From start to finish Perskie’s is so helpful guiding you through the process. We had a few “untraditional” issues (like a 2 hour gap between the ceremony and reception) and they were amazing adjusting their normal packages to fit our needs. Our actual Photographer was great, he kept us laughing and having fun and came up with some really fun ideas for pictures that we hadn’t seen before. We got married on the water with the Baltimore City skyline in the background and the pictures were all so amazing we ended up doubling the number of prints we got in our package because we just couldn’t choose! We also got a photo booth for our reception from them and it was a HIT!!! Everyone no matter the age had a blast taking photos, they even bring a prop box (we did buy more to add to it) but I highly recommend this and we got a CD at the end with all of the pictures on it! I would recommend them to absolutely everyone! My husband and I have already discussed using them for our future baby portraits!

My husband and I were absolutely thrilled with the services that Perskie provided for our wedding. We have to highly commend their photographer Val for doing a fabulous job on our photos. Val went above and beyond and was very hardworking and professional while working with us on our wedding day. We chose Perskie after seeing a sample of one of their photo books at a potential venue. Their photography was good, but so was a lot of other photographers' works. It was their photo books that really took us in and we can't wait to get ours
But our photographer, Colleen O'Neill was AWESOME! I don't know if she contracts with Perskie or is one of their full time photographers but we really lucked out when we got her. She was so much fun to work with, she made sure to get some formal shots but a lot of fun shots like we wanted. I already know the pictures are going to be great and I can't wait to see them. If you're looking for a wedding photographer, Colleen O'Neill is who you need to get.

Val was my photographer for my wedding. He was absolutely wonderful. I was very concerned about have someone that I would be comfortable with and not bothered by. He was very nice and paid close attention to detail. He is also good with kids. He made all sorts of weird noises to get my son's attention. Whatever I wanted he basically made it happen. He was even laying on the floor to get a great shot of my husband and I dancing. I would definately recommend him. I haven't gotten my pictures back yet but I'm sure they will be great.

Following a long separation during our engagement (due to working through a visa) I was super excited to have been able to book Perskie, at short notice, for our wedding. We had decided on having just a short wedding as it was hard to pin a date firmly until two weeks before the big day - and Perskie was our big splurge at well over $1100 for only two hours (we were quoted 3 different prices in as many days - including a $100 travel fee for them to come to DC...from Baltimore!). We felt sure to get the photographs that we hoped for when they charge that much...surely? Not at all. All our photographer wanted us to do was stand around and kiss. We spent 10 days looking for our perfect location for the photographs - and he didn't get any shots of us in our 'location'. All just really bad close ups of us with our eyes closed, or in awkward positions. The only pictures that were slightly reasonable were out of focus. However, we have a wonderful photograph on my husbands mom on her cell phone and another one of my mom going into the bathroom (total sarcasm, sorry). After sifting through more than 400 photographs - most of us with our eyes closed - we finally narrowed down 10 that we thought we liked enough to have them printed and sent to us almost 2 months ago, and we just received them today. We were married 4 months ago. Worst of all we opened them to find that they had zoomed in on each one and cut out most of what we liked about the photograph. This was after we had explicitly asked them not to change them. I would not recommend Perskie to any Bride. I know that the other reviews are wonderful - they hooked us in too - but we were not only slightly disappointed by this. I am heartbroken over these awful photographs. Some friends of ours were married two weeks after us and booked a company called 'The Pros'. For much less than what we paid, they had a full day with a photographer and his assistant. The photographs are exquisite! I just wish I had heard about them before I booked Perskie.

I would definitely recommend Perskie. They did my sisters wedding a year before mine, and did such a good job that I used them for my wedding as well.

Jay Perskie shot our engagement photos and they were beautifully done. Val and Hannah were our two photographers on the wedding day and they took so many different,artistic shots. They were both easy, and fun to work with, and really listened to what we wanted.

Our albums were designed beautifully, I get compliments on them from people saying they have never seen anything like it.

I used Perskie Photographics for my August 2009 wedding. I was more than pleased with my pictures. Everyone was helpful and easy to work with. Not only did my photographer, Colleen, come from Perskie, but so did my videographer, Jack. They were wonderful! They made us feel so relaxed and took amazing pictures. Everything was completed so quickly, I got my completed DVD in less than 2 months and my wedding album was completed in less than 5 months. I have gotten tons of compliments on my pictures and even on how quickly I got everything. The service was amazing and Nicole did a fabulous job with the layout of our album. I highly recommend this company.

I was pleased with the customer service and quality of the pictures. The Photographer Ken was great and had great ideas for pictures. My wedding reception was at Pier 5 in June so obviously the background for pictures was already amazing but Ken just took it to a whole new level! The ladies that helped with the packages and helping us design our album really know their stuff so it was easy to work with them. :o) I would and have referred other brides to Perskie!

There are so many photography companies these days. While looking for a photographer for our wedding there were soo many choices....or rather too many choices. I feel fortunate that my husband and I booked Perskie! They were recommended to us by a friend. Today when we look at our photographs we are so pleased that we chose them. The pictures captured all the special, fun, and funny moments throughout the day. We got the package with the two photographers and it paid to have both. The talent of the photographers and inside off staff that work with you is AMAZING. They have so many creative ideas that took our wedding photos above the rest. When my friends and family viewed the photos online they were blown away. I would recommend this company to anyone that is looking. And if I had to do it over I would book Perskie again. Their prices are a little high but well worth it in the long run.

Great value for the quality of photos, packages available and their photographer was tremendous. They took over 1,000 photos and the quality was so good that it was very tough to choose which ones would go in the album. We were so happy with everything that they did for us, that we recommended them to my sister for her wedding.

We used Perskie for our wedding day and let me tell you I was AMAZED at how well the photos turned out. Mr. Perskie himself called to confirm everything up until the day of my wedding. Our photographer was Colleen and she had a vision for beautiful pictures. When I was asked to do certain poses I was like "ok" and didn't understand until the pics came back in. I used Perskie for both my engagement pictures and wedding pictures. Mr.Jay Perskie actually took my engagement pics on the hottest day of the year and they were great. Sean was my wedding photographer, and Hanna was my second photographer. They were both very attentive to me and were able to take every shot I asked without getting in the way. Tropical storm Hannah was present during my wedding, and Sean actually was able to get pics outside too. He is friendly and really captures every shot you need to remember your day. They also provide you with one on one time to help you design the album you are looking to capture.

I just got back all my pictures and albums from the wedding. I LOVE them! The album is so nice and just blown me away with the design they did. You work one on one with a designer and approve everything before it gets printed. On the day of wedding the photograher was very professional and did some great shots. He took over 1200 pictures. He got alot of unforgettable moments that I cherish so much! They have a conveinent site where they post all the pictures so family and friends from out of town can purchase them. The only downfall is, that it is a little pricey.

I highly recommend Perskie photographics. They were outstanding during our wedding and reception. Shawn was our lead photographer and he was professional, friendly, and creative. He took several pictures in different and beautiful poses and settings. During the ceremony he captured so many moments that I know I will cherish forever.

Perskie also did my engagement sitting and those pictures were beautiful as well. A++++, my sister is using them for her wedding next year as well.

Our professional pictures are not ready yet, but I still wanted to comment. Our photograher from the studio was Sean Kiefe and we were so pleased to have him be a part of our day. He was prompt, professional and probably the only person who didn't complain about the heat. We hope to commission Sean for our next event!

The photographer, Sean, was exceptional. He got all the shots I asked him to and more. He stayed longer then he had to and worked harder then I expected. Everywhere I looked he was there, but never in the way. He never asked me to stop and pose, but he has me and my husband posing and unposed with all of our family and friends. The quality of pictures we recieved was breathtaking. The albums they create are beautiful!

The photographer I had was wonderful as well as the vidiographer. They got all the right shots and stayed out of peoples way while doing so. The administrative part is a little hard to get in contact with and didnt follow up very well. The quality of the photos was wonderful.

Perskie did a fantastic job with our engagement photos and wedding photos! We are more than pleased with the product! During the wedding process we had a small inconvience where the photographer we had booked through Perskie had a family emergency and had to back out of our agreement. Perskie made us aware of the situation and found us another photographer (David) in no time. We met with David and loved his work! He did a wonderful job at our wedding. David and his co-photographer captured more than 1,000 photos at the wedding and we loved them all so much it was hard to choose which ones we wanted in our album. Nicole, perskie's office manager, does a fabulous job, and is great with communicating improtant information to you. This photographer also provides great photo packages that include a lot of great stuff for their price. Definitely worth choosing them!

My Mother used Perski Photographics many years ago and they are still in business. I just received the proofs and everything looks good so far.

Perskie did a great job with the photography! The engagement shot looked great, the photographer was very professional and the end result was great. It was a little hard to arrange a meeting because we are in a different state and couldn't get down to Maryland. For having to do everything over email or over the phone they did an amazing job. The albums look great! I would work with them again in a heartbeat.

Perski was great to work with, they do exceptional work. I have referred them to many family and friends and they all have been pleased as well. The photographer and videographer both made arrangements to be at my rehersal so they would be able to get the best pictures. After the big day, it was a pleasure to work with them while putting my wedding album together. I highly recommend them.

A couple of years ago, Atlantic Caterers started holding tasting events at the Boumi Temple in White Marsh, MD. It has now snowballed to what we call a "Bridal Showcase", and we invite a select number of vendors to participate. Because of everything that Perskie has done for the Boumi Temple, I was asked if they would be able to participate in the upcoming events. I must say that this is one of the best decisions I have made. My clients, and potential clients, are extremely impressed with their level of professionalism, and everyone always comments on Julia Perskie's easy going and friendly demeanor. They are great at catching the shots that will make the bride and groom remember their special day.
