Personal Touch Dining

We are so thankful that we chose Personal Touch Dining to handle our catering and event rentals. They are truly a pleasure to work with, very knowledgable and professional. Our tasting was an amazing experience, set up like a private dinner complete with wine, and the food is great! Communication with all of the PTD team was prompt and thorough throughout the planning process, they would often respond to my emails within hours! Aside from preparing and serving delicious food (rave reviews from all of our guests) they helped us with planning and design and also referred vendors. On our wedding day they went above and beyond, preparing to go bags of apps, dinner, and desert for my husband and I (we were too excited to eat!). We will definitely consider Personal Touch for any future catering needs!

Personal Touch did such a wonderful job throughout the planning process. Lauren was very responsive whenever I had a question and was quick to explain anything that I wasn't sure about. The food was delicious during our tasting and they didn't disappoint on the day of.. I opted for a buffet style which meant their tents would be sharing space with my cocktail hour.. I was worried of how it would look on the terrace, but I didn't even notice the cooking tents.. The waitstaff were very attentive and checked on me to make sure I had everything I needed. I would recommend them to anyone!!

We found all this and more at Mt Woodson Castle in Ramona where Tracy Zemke and Personal Touch Catering provided us the wedding of our dreams where everyone had a GREAT time. Food was fantastic, service excellent, ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner under the stars and dancing in the great room of this century old castle. Tracy took great care of us and treated us like she wanted our business and worked hard to get it. Once we signed the contract her service got even better. Tracy and Personal Touch went above and beyond for us, and our guests setting the stage for our dream wedding. If you meet with her ask about the bride and groom who ordered In-n-Out.

Personal Touch is fantastic. You can tell Tracy is a professional who has been the business for many years. Her experience shows in all she does. The food was delicious and our guests noticed, because we received rave reviews.

Tracy and her team are amazing throughout the entire process! They were able to work within my budget and customize menu items. We even had a tasting which was so much fun!
They are very friendly, extremely knowledgable, and always available for questions. Tracy knows everything and has great resources for other vendors as well. I really enjoyed working with them and I think the biggest compliment is that my guests were going back for seconds and raving that it was the best wedding food they had EVER. Personal Touch Catering is a great choice!!!

Personal Touch Dining, and Tracy in particular, were amazing! They pulled together my dream wedding flawlessly. The food was amazing, set up was fabulous, and their staff was profesisonal and extremely helpful. I received tons of compliments from my guests on what an amazing event Personal Touch Dining put together for us. From day one, Tracy was a fountain of ideas and knowledge on what it takes to plan a spectacular wedding. She is extremely responsive and will stop at nothing to make sure you have your dream wedding!

We were so pleased with Personal Touch. Tracy and Lauren are incredible. We did a tasting and were so happy with the food and food choices. Everything was delicious...it was hard to choose! Our guests loved the food and couldn't get enough of it. The appetizers were also a big hit. The bacon-mushroom caps are amazing! They decorated our reception area so beautifully! The linens on all the tables were just the right color and the buffet table was set up very nicely. Their attention to detail was definitely noticed. Additionally, they have amazing service. The servers were always making sure everyone was taken care of. We were very happy with Personal Touch and would highly recommend them. You will not be disappointed.

Tracy and her team are fantastic! From the first meeting at our testing I was thoroughly impressed. They were very professional and very helpful throughout my entire planning process. On the day of the wedding all of the staff were so nice, friendly, and helpful. And they made the tables, bar, buffet, food, etc. look amazing! I could not have asked for a better caterer.

I was so pleased with the exceptional job that Personal Touch Catering did for my wedding. They completely exceeding my expectations and went above and beyond to make my event go smoothly and to make sure that my guests were happy. The food was fantastic. I heard nothing but raves from even the pickiest of foodies among my guests. I had some special requests to make the event more sustainable and the chef was willing to work with me to find “eco-friendly” alternatives. And the service and attention to detail was excellent – Rebecca Slaughter was the catering manager and she was so sweet and worked so incredibly hard to ensure everything was perfect. The rest of crew did and equally excellent job. I feel very lucky to have found them.

I can't say enough good things about Personal Touch Dining. We were so impressed with them from our very first meeting. They offered so many choices, and were so helpful. The food was OUTSTANDING! The food on our wedding day was just as delicious as it was at our food tasting. We got a lot of compliments from our guests. Not only was the food good, but they were very attentive. They are very professional and friendly. I would highly recommend them and will definitely use them again in the future.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say. Personal Touch was simply outstanding. From the very first meeting, the staff (especially Tracy) was extremely friendly, professional, and thorough. The price was VERY reasonable. Throughout the wedding planning process, Tracy and Amanda made themselves available to answer some of our questions that had nothing to do with the catering! My mom would bug them with ettiquette questions about unrelated things, and they were happy to help. On the day of the wedding, they were on time, swift in their preparations, and extremely professional. The food was AMAAAZING (we got the filet mignon and artichoke chicken), and i had dozens of guests tell me how delicious the food was, and how beautiful the tablescapes were. I would highly, highly recommend this caterer. I wouldn't use anyone else for my future events.

These ladies were definitely my favorite vendor! They are extremely nice, very helpful, and know absolutely everything. I probably called them twice a week leading up to the wedding, and they had an answer immediately, every time. Then, the day of, everyone loved the food, commented on the staff (especially the bartender girl!) and the buffets and linens were gorgeous! Also, they made us a little care package to take to the hotel afterwards, with pieces of cake and mini takeout containers of dinner in case we hadn't gotten enough to eat. Absolutely loved them...

Oh my gosh!.I can't say enough about Personal Touch. They absolutely made the wedding spectacular! I will recomend them to anyone and everyone. Not only was the food excellent, the staff made my vision come to life. I only had one in person meeting and all other communication by email or phone which was very conveniant. Tracy,Amanda and the rest of the staff at Personal Touch are the reason my guests are still commenting on how lovely my wedding was. The price was very reasonable as well. Thank You Personal Touch!

Pros: GREAT, fast communication upfront and during the planning process. Excellent pricing. Tasting was delicious.

Cons: The actual meal tasted nothing like the tasting meal; much worse quality. Most guests didn't even get hors d'oeuvres because the service was so slow and spotty (it was tray-passed). The service for dinner was SO slow and delayed it pushed our entire reception back 30-40 minutes and delayed the dancing/fun. People sat confused and hungry at their tables for the food to slooowly trickle out. It was inexcusable. Many times I had to try to hunt down the Personal Touch liason, but as he never introduced himself I didn't even know who to look for. I felt like the coordinator was avoiding me because of the delay in service, and I hated that I had to spend time out of my wedding day tracking someone down to ask about delays in service, raw meat, and lack of cake. I contacted the owner and received no offer of any sort of compensation or anything.

It was so bad, I STILL think about how much I regret hiring them almost every day. I don't think my wedding could have been "ruined" by anyone/anything, but Personal Touch came as close to RUINING my wedding as possible.

I would NOT recommend. Other places might cost a little more, but at this point I would have paid thousands more to avoid the train wreck that was my reception.

They were excellent to work with. I have food allergies and they easily adjusted the menu to accommodate them. The food was hot, tasty and presented beautifully. You will certainly receive great value beyond the price tag.

We used Personal Touch Dining as our caterer for our wedding as well as coordinating our event rental needs. They were a joy to work with! The food was amazing! I have never heard so many people rave about the food at the wedding. Tracy was great to work with, very helpful, professional and supportive. The staff at the event was very professional, nice and attentive. A very good value for the phenomenal service and very tasty food.

I loved Personal Touch! Their service was fantastic at the wedding and all of the preparation was super easy. They did everything so I didn't have to think of a thing...and it was reasonably priced! That was the best part! They were the cheapest I could find for a good value!!! I love them! I would definitely use them again.

I can say the food is amazing and the pricing is reasonable and that’s all fine and dandy. But I think the TRUE strength with personal touch dinning is the quality of the staff. Tracy Zemke (Owner) is just a wonderful lady that knows how to execute quality. Her staff are friendly, personable and very caring to the needs of the client. Everyone from the office staff to the onsite personnel. Every aspect is done with 5 star 5 diamond standards. Good people serving wonderful food and creating a dinning experience that’s truly some of the finest food and service you will receive in our industry.
