Reviews for Perspecta Photography

I would love to give Perspecta five stars because they are very talented photographers and initially we were very happy with their service. However, after our wedding their customer service has been terrible and almost non-existant.
After several phone calls and emails we finally received the disc of our wedding photos twenty weeks after our wedding (our contract states that we would receive them within six weeks). They appologized for the photos taking so long and promised to speed up the process of making our wedding album.
We have been married for almost ten months and we do not have our wedding album that we paid for. I have sent numerous emails and left several phone messages and all of them have been ignored. Save yourself a lot of time and disappointment, do NOT use perspecta photography.

It took me a while to find the right photographer. As a amatuer photographer, I think I can picky in what I want and I know my style which I love to see. They are very good. Their style is natural and modern. Their strong point is their photojournalistic style. They really know how to capture the moment because they give good coverage of the event. A good photographer will be better at telling a story than a video can - hence I put the cost of the video into my photography. I might be bias but I believe photography really focuses the attention on the moment. If you are looking for a group of very modern upbeat photographers - they are it. Most important thing is that you must like how they do their photoshoots and their style because it must reflect the couple. Everyone has a different idea of how it should be and therefore there is no such thing as one size fits all.For what you pay, you get lots of edited pictures and lots of shooting time and a wonderful slideshow which tells a story.. (no just random pictures). Trust me, you won't be disappointed.

I contacted Arif about doing a pre-wedding bridal photo session a month before the wedding in my hometown of San Francisco. I couldn't imagine not having any photos taken of us in the beautiful city of SF, and stumbled across Perspecta's website in a cursory San Francisco-based photographer search online.
Arif and Corey were our bridal session photographers, and the only directions I gave them were that the photos had to be *IN* San Francisco, but not "look" like San Francisco - that meant, no Baker Beach, no Golden Gate Bridge, no Ferry Building, etc. These two guys have an absolute amazing eye for beautiful photography and took us to an industrial part of SF, near ATT Park, for our session. Suffice to say that my husband and I are extremely pleased with how our photos turned out (please see the few that I've uploaded).
Arif and Corey are amazing individuals, highly professional, extremely skilled, and overall just friendly guys. I highly recommend booking with Perspecta because these guys produce top of the line shots at middle of the way prices.

Do not use this vendor.
While we loved Corey and Arif during our engagement shoot and they were fabulous to work with at their wedding itself, they completely abandoned us afterwards. It took months for us to badger them into actually giving us digital files of our images. They had lots of excuses --- that they overbooked themselves, that they were sick, etc. Since then, our emails and phone calls have gone unanswered. They have disappeared and moved onto other projects and failed to deliver the album that we paid for. We have been married for more than year and do not have a wedding album to show for it. We have to cringe whenever someone asks to see our wedding album, and explain how we don't have one.
The only good thing is that we managed to get a hold of our digitals --- since our wedding, I have talked to two more brides who never even managed that and have absolutely no photos of their wedding. This is unacceptable behavior for a wedding photographer. Yes their photos are beautiful and the prices reasonable, but use at your own risk. This was the most disappointing of our many wedding vendors.

I found Perspecta photos when they were new to wedding business. To build more confidence to customer, they offered free engagement session to us. Once I saw the pictures, I knew I've found the right photographers. I like their 2 photographers service with unlimited hours and locations. I also love their jounralistic style, and on my wedding day, they ran back & forth, up & down trying to capture the Kodak moment. I have great experience with them, and everyone just falls in love to my wedding pictures

These guys have been amazing. They're professional, extremely accommodating and super easy to work with. We recently had our e-pic session and though I was completely nervous at first, they made it fun and relaxing. They even put up with our silly antics! We can't wait to see the photos and are even more excited about having them shoot our wedding day.

We did pre-wedding bridal portraits with Corey and Arif from Perspecta Photography. We absolutely loved working with them--they were creative, fun and incredibly talented. They made great use of the light and setting and came up fun shots that were weren't the same old same old. They made sure we were comfortable, relaxed and having fun the whole time.
Plus, we really liked the photos and we NEVER like photos of ourselves. They are incredibly reasonably priced for their quality of work and I can't stress enough how great there are. Definitely one of our favorite vendors.

My fiance and I had an engagement photo session with Perspecta Photography and we were really impressed. They were professional, yet very fun and down to earth. I hate taking pictures, but I knew that the engagement pictures are really important to my fiance and my family (I'm Asian) and the guys at Perspecta helped to create an atmosphere where I didn't feel posed or uncomfortable.
One thing i really liked about them was that because they are a new company, they really had fresh ideas on style and location. In talking to various photographers throughout the Bay Area, I noticed that they all tend to give me the same spiel and I didn't feel any personal connection. Arif, Corey and Anobel took the time to get to know my fiance and me and they really listened to what we like and dislike. And i found this personal attention really refreshing in wake of all the commercial stoicism of other photographers.
I highly recommend Perspecta Photography and I am more than willing to answer any questions you have about them!

These guys are doing our photography, too, and we couldn't be more excited! Though we haven't had our wedding or e-pic session yet, I can comment on the professionalism they've displayed thus far (promptly returning calls, answering questions adequately, accomodating requests). I stalk their blog regularly, and we are really looking forward to having them capture our day. (I will update my review after our wedding!)
NB: These guys went out of business this summer. 9/25/09

We recently had Perspecta Photography (Arif and Corey) shoot our wedding in the bay area. They are very nice and extremely professional, there is no BS. For a modest price you get two talented photographers, a lot of their time and all of your high resolution images. We spoke with a number of photographers and I always hated the way they hold on to the high resolution images and gouge more money out of you. (As if you weren't already spending enough money!) These guys are a joy to deal with during the stressful time of wedding planning.
The best part of using Perspecta is that we LOVE our wedding photos!! They shoot in a beautiful, artful photojournalistic style that is just gorgeous. We have several friends who paid three times as much as we did and were not nearly as pleased. We are recommending Perspecta to all of our friends and family.
