Petal Beach

When the florist we hired for our wedding retired less than three months before our date. We were worried about finding a florist that was still available, would fit our budget and would be able to provide what we wanted. After spending five minutes with Bonnie, I was reassured. She is professional, kind, thoughtful and talented. We were very impressed with her knowledge and their portfolios. She even accommodated my mother-in-law's request for a change three days before the wedding. We were absolutely thrilled with the quality of their work. The flowers were fresh and lush, the attention to detail perfect (color coordinating ribbons, matching beads and gems, small floral accents) and our expectations were exceeded. I could not believe how many people complimented me on the bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres and arrangements. Their love of this art shows through in their work and we very much appreciated the special touch they added to our day.

Bonnie did a wonderful job for my big day. Everything was exactly what I hoped it to be and my flowers couldn't have been more beautiful. The colors and flowers she used were so vibrant and rich in color. I had a rose theme, so she managed to make the flowers/colors/ribbon tie into my dress as well as the bridesmaid dresses. Overall, I would highly recommend going to Petal Beach!

The minute I walked through the door at Petal Beach and met Bonnie, I knew we would be in good hands. Bonnie really listened to my thoughts for our wedding, and she was as enthusiatic about it as I was! She really understood and interpreted the vision I had, and added elements I hadn't even thought about! I have to say that Bonnie is just a pleasure to work with and such a creative force! The website gives you just a taste of what she is capable of. I love that she was not afraid of color and different texture and color combinations. I knew going in that I wanted a mixture of hydrangeas, and she took it to a whole new level. The centerpieces were breathtaking. People fought to take them home at the end of the wedding. My bouquet and the bridal parties' bouquets were different and special. They really popped in the photos and were a memorable part of the day, which is probably the strongest compliment I can really give. How often can you say that the flowers were a part of the wedding and not just background? I cannot thank Petal Beach enough!!

Bonnie is wonderful!! She is a master when it comes to flowers. She really can figure out the perfect colors and knows what you want. She met with my mom, sister, and I to discuss the flowers for the wedding. I am not super knowledgeable about flowers - so I sort of just rambled about things and told her what I thought I was looking for. She showed me a ton of pictures to help me figure out exactly what I wanted. She went above and beyond my expectations. The flowers were so beautiful. The colors were EXACTLY what I wanted. She was on time for three different deliveries and even gave me a little pillow stuffed with lavender to help calm nerves with my flower! It said "Happily Ever After" - adorable. In addition, she put different color pins on the bottom of the bridesmaids' bouquets so they could tell theirs apart! This isn't a huge deal but I've been a bridesmaid before and you always mix up which bouquet is yours! This is such a nice touch that I wasn't expecting.Bonnie is also really responsive with both e-mail and phone calls. She was very accommodating with a last minute request to include a horseshoe charm on my bouquet. It look classy and was exactly what I wanted. Petal Beach isn't cheap - but you are paying for quality service and the best quality flowers. I highly recommend Petal Beach!!

Bonnie is amazing to work with! I was aware of her reputation when I made an appointment with her and her work absolutely lived up to her reputation! She was so attentive and willing to make your floral decor everything you want it to be. She is detailed and does not leave a stone unturned. I cannot recommend her enough. I did not know much about flowers and didn't have a definitive vision for my centerpieces and bouquets, but she worked with me and helped me develop that vision. She is so artistic and once you book with her, you can rest knowing your flowers are in excellent hands!

From the first time I met with Bonnie at Petal Beach, I knew she was the florist I needed for my wedding. I went into our first consultation with really no idea what I wanted, aside from a few photos off her gallery on her website that I was using as inspiration. She took our ideas to a whole new level, though, and I was floored the day of the wedding at the beauty of everything she put together, from the bouquets to the arch. Through the whole planning process and beyond, Bonnie was kind, generous, and always quick to respond to my emails. She went above and beyond to create a beautiful setting at our venue. I really feel that if it weren't for her and her talents, the entire event would not have been as gorgeous as it was.

Bonnie did an amazing job on our flowers! We had such a large bridal party so needed to come down in price and she was so accomdating and helpful and they bridesmaids boquets came out gorgeous and mine was even better! Our centerpieces were clear tubes with sand and floating flowers and they look so beautful on the tables. Cant say enough good things are Petal Beach!

We cant express in words what Bonnie, her husband, chris and the rest of the staff at Petal Beach mean to us. So much love and time go into what they did for us at our wedding. It rained on our wedding day and we were feeling down about not being able to wed on the beach. Bonnie and her team transformed the inside of the facility into a magical place with flowers and decor that were just unimaginable. They brought in an arch way and decorated like you would not believe to give us that same beach feeling. Their hearts are so big and make you feel like a part of the family. The vision and end products are just to die for and we just cant say enough about them. Our day was so magical because of their talent and dedication. People were amazed by the center pieces and the bouquets were just unbelievable. We will never get flowers from anyone else. They are part of our family now. I cannot even begin to express my LOVE, appreciation and gratitude for Bonnie and Petal Beach. After we walked out of our first consultation, my husband and I knew we had found our florist…we didn’t even need to think twice. Bonnie is such a sweet and warm woman with such a wealth of flower and wedding knowledge. My husband and I were married on the beach at Water’s Edge in Sea Bright on May 29, 2011. Since we knew we wanted an elegant beach feel for our wedding, we found inspiration for our theme in a few New England wedding magazines. We shared these with Bonnie and from those ideas, she created something even MORE beautiful than we had thought possible!!She helped us choose the most unbelievable flowers and turned them into these perfectly romantic centerpieces, bouquets and decorations! Bonnie thought of everything and more. Not only were our flowers perfect, but Bonnie was a huge part in the selection and setting up our décor the day of. From the raffia starfish chair hangers to the place card sandboxes to our outdoor deck lanterns to our pink lanterns hung above the dance floor to our pink votives on each table…Bonnie did it all!! I could not have pulled off this wedding without her help! Guests are still raving about our flowers. Our only disappointment was that the flowers had to eventually die...broke our hearts. I feel beyond lucky and truly blessed to have had someone as talented, dedicated and special as Bonnie as part of our wedding team! Bonnie was absolutely amazing to work with, from day 1 right up until our wedding day, and her decor truly "made" our venue. I knew immediately upon walking into her studio that she would "get" the beachy-theme I was going for, and she did and then some! No details were overlooked, and she went above and beyond for us multiple times - searching for fishnet table runners, hanging tons of paper lanterns, and finding a way to tie down the "arch" that we so badly wanted to be able to use for our (windy!) rooftop, oceanfront ceremony. We went to Petal Beach not knowing too much about what flowers we wanted to use, but Bonnie's creativity and expertise solved that problem almost immediately. My bouquet was STUNNING, and our floating orchard centerpieces were beyond AMAZING. Bonnie and her team transformed our venue from beautiful to absolutely magical. Thank you Bonnie!

From our initial meeting, I felt so comfortable and excited to be working with Bonnie. Her experience and knowledge helped me make my vision a reality. They went out of their way to attend a meeting with me at our reception hall when the hotel had issues, just because it made me feel comfortable. Bonnie is probably the most talented and creative florist I have ever come in contact with. I walked into her shop with an image in my head that I had the most difficulty explaining. I said a lot of 'kinda" and "yeah like this sorta" and it was as if she reached in my brain and plucked out the exact image I had. The woman is incredible. Not only does she have years of experience but she has a library worth of knowledge. The flowers at our wedding were magazine quality. The colors were flowing together with such elegance. MY bridal bouquet was so beautiful. The bridesmaids flowers so pretty. And oh my god the centerpieces. I had short ones and tall ones split up evenly. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw them. They were so amazing. I saw my guests touching them in amazement that they were real flowers. I received so many compliments on them saying how really amazing they were. People say your guests only remember the food and music......so not true. Our guests have these flowers burned into their heads. There were so many different kinds of flowers yet they all blended together so well as if each piece was supposed to be next to the other. So quickly let me tell you about Bonnie and petal beach. Service......exceptional. On time and on point. Very professional. And most defiantly worth the price. (I imagine prices vary depending on what you get and how much you get) but it was worth the price I paid.

Petal Beach was by far a huge part of our wedding day success. Our bouquets, center pieces and ceremony arch - were beyond words and exceeded my wildest dreams! Bonnie was so extremely helpful throughout the entire process. I had no idea what type of flowers to use. With a little bit of information she was able to create something so amazing. The bonquets turned out so beautiful. There were full and bright and fit the fall look I was going for amazingly. The centerpieces were a huge hit also as so many people wanted to take them home and took so many photos of them. Bonnie was also able to get me mini pumpkins to attach my escort cards to and made a beautiful centerpiece filed with pumpkins to decorate the table with. It all turned out more wonderful than I would have expected.

The flowers were positively the most stress-free part of our entire wedding. Bonnie and Chris,(hands down the best of the best), zeroed in on exactly the mood, theme, feeling and overall "personality" of our wedding celebration. I worked with Bonnie at Petal beach and it could not have been easier. I am from out of town and made an appointment to meet with her while i was in town for a visit. When I saw Petal Beach's work in some pictures at my venue I knew I HAD to have them do my wedding flowers. I LOVED the centerpieces they created right away. Bonnie is probably the nicest person met in all of my wedding planning. She really listens and gets to know you as a person and a bride. I trusted her 100% and I was NOT disappointed. I thoroughly enjoyed every meeting I had with her... when I had my final meeting two weeks before the wedding I was having a mini breakdown. Bonnie took the time to listen and even calmed me down- she never rushed through an appointment. Every flower and arrangement received from Petal Beach was pristine. I also had fresh flowers put on my cake by Petal Beach and it turned out breathtaking. I had seven bouquets and 16 centerpieces which included gorgeous orchids among many other types of flowers. I found Petal Beach to be accommodating and very reasonably priced.

I love Bonnie. Although I walked into her store with no pictures but an idea, she completely understood EXACTLY what I wanted for our wedding. So much so that I only went back once after our initial meeting to confirm what we were looking for. The delivery was right on time, the bouquets were PERFECT [I even had to put a photo of mine (with the rhinestone starfish at our beach wedding!) in our album is was so gorgeous] and all the guests wanted to go home with the centerpieces. I HIGHLY recommend them!

Bonnie was extremely helpful in helping me choose flowers and table arrangements and was able to send pictures so I could show my fiance and family since they were not able to go with me when I made the selections. The first time I walked into the ballroom and saw the tables, I was amazed. Everyone commented on how beautiful the flowers and decorations (candles) were. We also had our ceremony outside and Bonnie was able to decorate the arbor. As the flowers were delivered to my room, I was completely amazed on how all the arrangements were. Bonnie is very easygoing and fun to work with. I highly recommend Petal Beach for all your floral needs.

When I arrived at the venue all of the flowers were already in place, the flowers above the gazebo were better than I imagined, all of the bouquets were exactly as we discussed..it was perfect! They were fresh, and beautiful. My mom was even able to keep them alive for us until we got back from our honeymoon! Working with them was a pleasure and I would happily recommend them!!!

I agree with what every other review says, Bonnie at Petal Beach is AMAZING! I truly did not think I would have the exact flowers I wanted for my wedding day until we went to Petal Beach. Bonnie did a great job with our center pieces and the girls bouquets. At first it was hard for me to decide on what I wanted for center pieces because we were on a budget and Bonnie came up with an idea but it was hard for me to picture it but I'm glad i trusted her because they turned out beautiful. Bonnie at Petal Beach is just wonderful to work with. She would call or email me with questions and was prompt in replying to all of my questions. This was important to me. We had visited only one other florist before deciding to go with Petal Beach. The other florist pretty much wanted me to make all the choices. I calmly explained that I am not a florist and do not have an eye for what colors go nicely with what flowers. They did not seem to care. Bonnie listened to our ideas and then came back to us with her ideas. Almost all of which I loved! I told Bonnie I wanted things that were beachy and she came back with lovely beach ideas I never would have been able to think of. I came in to her with a budget set in mind. All of my friends warned me that you might as well throw your flower budget in the garbage – because you always end up spending much much more. I do not think that was true at all with Petal Beach. What she did with our bamboo arch blew my mind, it was so beautiful.

My flowers were ABSOLUTELY BREATHTAKING! When I walked in and saw the bouquets, I actually screamed because they were exactly what I pictured and more. My bouquet was gorgeous and I received so many compliments. Our centerpieces were colorful and added to the beauty of the room. I got married New Year's Eve with a black and gold theme, so I had no idea what kind of flowers to use for centerpieces and bouquets. What a wonderful experience we had with Bonnie at Petal Beach! My daughter's wedding was 12/05/2009 at The English Manor in NJ. Bonnie & Co. were fantastic! Every floral arrangement was magnificent. I knew exactly what I wanted for my centerpieces and Bonnie worked with me until the last minute to make sure it was perfect! Me and my girls carried stunning, cascading bouquets that are still being talked about today. The communication was very open and honest. In the end, a lot of money was spent, but it was well worth it... everything was beautiful.

Bonnie and her team did an absolutely amazing job! My guests who won the centerpieces were so thrilled to take them home and my bridesmaids absolutely adored their bouquets. Bonnie is truly an artist with flowers. Even when I couldn't verbalize exactly what I was envisioning, she understood my style and knew how to give me exactly what I wanted.

These ladies are AMAZING! I had pretty specific colors/themes that i wanted for my fall wedding and they made it all come true, better than I'd imagined. The centerpieces were exquisite, with orchids and curly willow, placed in amber glass tall vases with glass gems and mini pumpkins inside, all lit with an LED light from within so they glowed. So cool! They hung paper lanterns and little glass candle baskets so the overall effect was warm, colorful, and autumnal. They also made little "sets" outside of the venue with mums, grasses, and hay that were so beautiful, we used them in a lot of the wedding photos as background. I really could go on and on with their creativity. All you need to do is give them an idea, and they go off on it, so TRUST THEM!!! They have great taste and know exactly what to do. Bonnie and Christine were both really easy to talk to, and had great suggestions and advice for anything i was confused or unsure about. They have a superior knowledge of flowers and know what will work and what won't. They are not pushy and gladly work within your budget. I will recommend them to everyone, and will definitely use them the next time I need floral work!

Bonnie and Chris were my florists for my wedding at Bonnet Island on July 24th 2009. I loved working with them from the moment I met them. The absolute best to work with. The flowers were beyond my expectations, they can transform any vision you have for your wedding. We had a seashore/fishing theme and Bonnie created a beautiful fishing pole with lure and rings for our ring bearer that were the hit of the wedding ceremony. Its the little extra touches that they add that sets them apart from the cookie cutter florists. They went out of there way to create the most perfect day. I love them so much I cannot say enough about them, we consider them family.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience working with Bonnie of Petal Beach. When my husband and I met her for the first time, we felt that "connection", like she understood exactly what vibe we were going for. Very flexible, we were able to pay in installments, which every bride knows is a great asset! In addition, Petal Beach takes credit cards, so you don't need to come up with the cash up front; again, very helpful!The flowers were amazing! We chose blue, purple and green for our colors, and the flowers Bonnie used were cobalt blue hydrangeas, purple lisianthus, super green roses, cedum, delphinium, and these wonderful deep purple dendrobium orchids! The orchids were so cool, that I decided to wear 4 or 5 of them in my hair instead of a veil.Our arch was made with all of these flowers, attached to a real birch arch! It was so unique and special, our guests loved it as much as we did!We are so glad we went with Petal Beach to do our flowers, and you will be too!

Bonnie was great to work with for my May wedding and delivered some of the most beautiful flowers I have ever seen. Although she was not the lowest quote that we received, her flowers and arrangements were far superior to any others. It was completely worth it! Petals Beach did the flowers for my wedding. The had books of their work that was very helpful in picking out the flowers for my wedding. They even let me look on their computer at some of their more recent decorations. They were on time the day of the wedding and answered all emails and phone calls quickly. A few of my guests asked if they could take the centerpieces and cocktail table decorations. We had to actually put some away so that I could make sure I got one and my bridesmaids got one to go home. They are very relaxed which makes you feel relaxed. When you are planning your wedding, you don't need any added stress.
