I absolutely loved my flowers!! My designer was Jeana and she is an angel!! There has been a few negative things said about this company but I can assure you that I had a GREAT experience with them. Jeana and I had such a great connection and relationship that I would actually call her to vent & seek advice about other wedding related things. She even went above and beyond her call of duty when there was a DOC mix up so I didn't have to deal with it!
Anyway, my flowers turned out better then I thought they were going be. They were fresh, perfect and crisp! My vision was turned out better then I imagined it. There were a few changes with the centerpieces I did not expect but I was sooo excited about!! My ceremony decor turned out 100 times better then I thought! I couldn't be happier.

Great sales team and good design, but poor organization and pricing. Flowers for a very important person also fell apart on the day of... twice! (I'm trying not to leave a lot of details so I don't get tracked down like the other bride did.) Overall, they're OK but overpriced, and I didn't really like the changes they made on my pieces. If I could do it again, I would go with Commerce Flowers or La Fleur by Tracy.

Very disappointed with the results for the price paid. Overall flowers looked okay but I could have received the same flowers at a lower cost and received better customer service. Customer service is my biggest complaint. They made changes back and forth the week of my wedding. Every time I contacted the designer, Xavi, she was always looking at an older invoice even though I emailed her updates regularly. The day of the wedding was the most disappointing with terrible staff. The flower girls kissing balls and one bridesmaid's bouquet fell apart before the end of the ceremony. The groom's flowers fell apart and when I asked them to replace his orchid they pulled the orchid out of the bride's bouquet. The centerpieces did not turn out as expected. The staff was supposed to return after the reception to pick up the vases from the centerpieces but never arrived that day. My reception venue was upset because they had to setup for another wedding right after mine. I spoke with my reception venue on 8/23/07 and they indicated the vases were still there and they made multiple attempts to contact Petals by Xavi to pick up the vases! They were very disappointed and said they would prefer not to work with this company in the future. They did refund me a total of $220 for the trouble, but honestly the refund was not worth all the trouble. I would have rather had someone that got it done right the first time. Check out other brides' reviews on other websites. You'll find they have similar things to say about this company. Mainly, you will find that you will not get what you paid for.

We had a terrible experience with petals by xavi. First off, our first meeting went OK...we met with Colin, who was very nice, but only allowed half an hour..which we weren't told, and had many more questions and ideas to go over, but there was another client waiting about 10 feet away starring at us, and colin rushed to get our appointment done. This also led him to forget to quote us multiple things, which we didn't figure out until we left and REALLY looked over the contract. Additional "add ons" that he forgot totaled $2000!!!. Second, my sister-in-law to be, is also getting married called to set up a consultation as well. She talked to a lady on the phone who asked what her budget was. She told them her budget was $2700 (for a wedding of 150, which is totally do-able!) the lady said.. "oh honey, your budget will never work with us, you should try a local, not as nice florist for that budget" (rude huh?) I called back and spoke with xavi who "apologized" and said she would take care of it. She called Karra TWO DAYS later, saying that she is going to be SO generous and offer 3% off..(whoopdie doo..) So...i wouldn't recommend them to anybody who can't afford a $10,000 floral budget or you'll get reminded that your not worthy of their business. I RECOMMEND "AVAS GARDEN" AND ASK FOR MARY!! SHE'S AWESOME AND WORKS WITH YOUR BUDGET, AND GIVES DISCOUNTS (more than 3%, and that's just "bc").

I worked with Colin, He was so awesome!!! He made sure my vision for my wedding was his vision. We met with him about five times before our wedding, and even when my parrents came to visit we had said so many great things about him they wanted to meet him!! My bouquet was to die for!!!!! Colin and the Petals by Xavi team made me feel so happy the day of my wedding!!! They even set up my place-cards, and threw in petals everywhere. I had such a good excperiance with this company I would recommend them to any one who needs a florist.

I went to 5 other florists, and when I met with Petals by Xavi I knew I had the one I wanted. They created a beautiful lush vision that was my wedding, and alot cheaper than other quotes that I got. I have two friends that are getting married and they are also using them. I still keep in touch with the designer i worked with, he was so nice!
