Peter Bang Photography

Peter was the ultimate photographer. He met with us during a compressed timeframe (we chose our photographer 2.5 months prior to the wedding) and was able to frame our day even when we didn't know exactly what we wanted. Though we did not communicate with him much during the months leading to the wedding, he ensured all details were thought out and was very flexible.

Peter really flexes his muscles on the day of. We started off late (took pictures prior to the ceremony and reception) and didn't get to two out of the three locations we planned on going to. He was very patient with us and created beautiful shots with what he was given. He provided sufficient direction that really showed his strong vision for the day, while giving us enough room to express our personality.

His professionalism shined during the reception, when we agreed to certain time slots for photos, but were constantly derailed due to friends and family wanting to greet with us. Peter and his team waited often times more than 10 minutes between shots, but was understanding and accommodating. Even though the session was to end at a certain time, Peter stayed long after in order to get all the shots he envisioned for the day.

I cannot applaud him enough and highly recommend him to any couple looking to capture their special day.

Peter did a wonderful job with both our wedding and engagement pictures. I'm so happy with how they turned out. He was responsive, courteous, and flexible when our initial engagement shoot got rained out.

The one thing I wish I would have done was to put a little more thought into the pictures beforehand and talk about it with Peter. There were pictures of some of the elements of the wedding and people (ie: the groom with his brother), that I wish I had pictures of and just forgot to request beforehand. I'm sure if I had given Peter a more specifics of what I was looking for, he would had been able to do it.

Peter did an amazing job and I cannot speak of him and his service highly enough! He worked with what we had and took a multitude of fantastic shots! Towards the end of my wedding, the lighting was beginning to get really low and I wasn't sure how many shots he would be able to get, but upon viewing the finaly product, I was blown away by the quality and his ability to work with any situation. He was easy to work with, very friendly and above all, knew how to coax the right emotions out of us to get the great shots. The one piece of advice other brides gave me was to hire a good photographer, because the photographer is the one vendor who captures all the beautiful moments of your wedding day for you to cherish and remember years down the road. It's the same advice I'd pass on to other brides, and I'd recommend Peter to get the job done for you. Much of the decision to hire the right photographer depends on the rapport you establish with him/her, and from day one, I knew Peter understood what my goals were for capturing the wedding day. He listened to the ideas we had, offered his own suggestions, and then executed to a tee, and gave us some insanely gorgeous pictures! I was absolutely thrilled to work with him, and would recommend him without hesitation.

Photography was definitely high up on my list of importance for my July 30th wedding. Peter was recommended to me through a guest of a wedding he had photographed. We met about a year before our wedding, and my now husband and I instantly knew Peter was the one to capture our big day. His style is amazing, and his beautiful photographs speak for themselves. In addition, Peter is such a fun and friendly guy that fit so well on the day of with all of our bridal party and guests. His pictures did not disappoint! Now I'm thinking of other occasions so that I can hire him again.

Peter is professional, friendly and talented. His photos are amazing. We couldn't have asked for anything better. We felt very lucky to secure him to shoot our wedding. We highly recommend him!

Peter is absolutely an amazing, creative photographer. Friends tell us all the time it looks like our pictures should be in a magazine. Peter Bang was wonderful to work with for our wedding. He was referred to us through our friends who had worked with him at their wedding. The quality of the photograph, his ideas for photo settings and his ability to capture the moment are priceless. We were extremely happy with Peter's work. He was easy to work with and was nice and relaxed on our big day - which helped keep us relaxed and easy infront of the camera! I liked how he kept his photos natural and fitting to us as a couple - nothing seemed forced, and he was able to capture awesome photos without making us do a lot of specific poses. He was always prompt in responding to our questions before and after the wedding and designed a beautiful album for us afterwards!

we liked peter from when we first met him. we were glad that he photographed our wedding! he took a lot of great shots, even at the end of a long day he was still eager to capture some fantastic images which we will always have to look back upon.

Choosing a wedding photographer is a big decision, and choosing Peter Bang as our photographer was one of the best we made. His photography is natural (no cheesy effects or oversaturated colors) yet has that lifelike 'pop' to it that really grabs your attention. In terms of professional demeanor he is also top notch. During the big event he is very low-key, and knows how to get the key shots without intruding or making a fuss. When shooting with just the bride and groom he knows how to make you feel at ease and is knowledgable with the posing. All around a great guy, and we have already recommended him to our friends who are excited to be using him as their wedding photographer.

We had an amazing time with Peter. There are so many great photos from our day and I am so thankful that we have them to relive those wonderful memories. Peter's style of non-intrusive and natural photography was exactly what we were looking for. I only wish we had more time for more photos! We've already recommended him to our friends. He's a fantastic photographer who works with great enthusiasm and asks questions about what is important to you so that he makes sure to capture them.

Peter is an exceptionally gifted photographer who works well with couples and quickly adapts to the environment. We picked the location for our bridal session which happened to be an old vintage house owned by a sweet, old lady who let us use her yard to take pictures. Our engagement theme was "UP” The Movie. While we had prepared many ideas and props, we weren't sure how to incorporate them into the pictures. Peter was able assist us in that area by picking the different spots to shoot and figuring out how to utilize our ideas and props. We were extremely pleased with his professionalism and how he made us feel comfortable by expressing how he liked certain things. We were on a short timeline and requested for our pictures to be completed by our wedding day. Despite his busy schedule, Peter was able to deliver our photos on time and they were of exceptional quality.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Peter Bang without completely gushing, and I am in no way paid for this advertisement! He was UNDOUBTEDLY one of the best parts of our wedding, aside from the whole getting married part. Of all the compliments we got on our wedding, Peter was at the top of everyone's list, and that's before they even saw the pictures.

He gave us the most stunning, beautiful and unique wedding (and engagement) photos. Everyone who sees our wedding pictures is completely blown away. Multiple friends are planning to use them for their upcoming weddings, my unengaged sisters have him mentally booked, and we even had one friend cancel their photographer and hire him after seeing our pictures. He's that good!

His pictures are not transparent cookie cutter images from every other wedding...insert couple here. There is nothing artificial about Peter's work. He seemingly effortlessly tailors his images to the uniqueness of the couple, so much so that you really see the interplay your relationship in his work. His quiet, observant, and insightful manner allows him to take the most precious images of tender moments between loved one. I really cannot say enough.

Even more, he perfectly captured the energy and feel of our entire wedding day in all his images. It's like reading through a story book. Everyone has been to a wedding where the photographer detracts from the intimacy of the day, by sticking a lens in your face, or interrupting a conversation/dance with his/her encroaching presence. Peter blended in so well with the crowd that no one noticed his presence in a negative way. He was such a GIFT to have at our wedding. I'd hire him again and again and again and am looking forward to/trying to create events to have him photograph, I think he's that great!

Peter was our wedding photographer in July and was absolutely the best photographer we could have asked for. He came early to the wedding site (the night before) and captured our wedding beautifully. We took extra pictures with a different scene after our wedding date, and Peter was fantastic! He was very flexible and worked with us to get us exactly what we wanted. Peter has a love for what he does and it is definitely evident through his work!

Peter was an amazing photographer at my wedding! He showed up early that day with an assistant and was completely understanding when I had to add or remove any aspect of photography. He even scoped out the ceremony and reception locations beforehand which immediately put me at ease. As all brides know, there are so many time lines, check lists, and to-do's to complete prior to your big day but with Peter, photography was 100% handled professionally and artistically where I did not have to worry about a thing and the results were incredible. When we hired Peter for our photos, we knew we'd be getting some amazing shots. What we couldn't have predicted, however, was how perfectly Peter understood our vision for both our engagement and wedding photos. He took the idea of what we wanted, and gave us something far better than we could have imagined. He even made it snow on our wedding day so that we could have some nice winter shots! :-)

Peter is an exceptional photographer, and he is exceptionally professional as well. We hired him for both an engagement shoot and for full day wedding coverage. He was very flexible with scheduling the engagement shoot and spent several hours with us on a cold morning. The photos he took were just what we were hoping for. As for the wedding and reception, he brought 2 professional assistants who somehow were everywhere without being overly conspicuous, especially in the church. The photos truly captured the events of the day and especially the mood and feelings of our families and our friends. The photos are gorgeous. Peter is a very talented and magnificent photographer! He was so easy to work with and brought along a great attitude that helped us feel comfortable and at ease. He was very professional in showing us his work the first time we met up with him, and showed a great amount of confidence that reassured us that he was the perfect photographer for us. He listened to what we envisioned our wedding to be like, and the type of style that I was looking for in our wedding photographs. He was very receptive to our thoughts and ideas, and definitely refined our vision with his years of experience which made it the perfect combination! He did not get in the way of any of the other hectic events that were going around us, but still was able to capture all the key moments on camera. He is so kind, so humble, and just terrific at what he does, and his passion for photography just exudes on out to the entire atmosphere. All my bridal party, family and friends absolutely LOVED him and have already told me they want to use him for their weddings in the near future!

Everytime I browse through the pictures, I can truly relive the day of my wedding from the moment I got up to the moment we said our "I do's." We were thrilled with our photos from Peter Bang and would recommend him highly! He was very professional, we felt relaxed and comfortable with him and the other junior photographers he brought along, and he took great photos!

Not only were the photographs so beautifully and wonderfully taken, the best part was how much dedication and work was put into the wedding. Always mindful of guests, other wedding staff, bridal party, and the bride and groom; the whole wedding procedure was put at ease of how respectful and how caring the photographer was. Oh I love Peter's photography. His ability to capture the moment is amazing! He is extremely professional and personable and not the type to intrude while taking pictures. And his prices were great as well.
