We first heard of Kenny and Vanessa from a friend and we set up a date to meet them. Kenny and Vanessa came prepared for the meeting; they brought a laptop where they showed us some samples of their work. We liked what we saw, so we hired them on the spot. We had our engagement photos taken at Redondo Beach and had a blast. Both Kenny and Vanessa came up with some incredible ideas for our photos that day. We got to see the results of that afternoon very shortly after, and we enjoyed seeing how the photos turned out. During the weeks leading up to the wedding day, I was a nervous wreck. I just wanted everything to go smoothly. When things are this hectic, its so hard to keep track of everything by yourself. Luckily Kenny was not one of the things i had to worry about. Kenny was very professional. You could tell that he has been photographing wedding for sometime now. Kenny and his crew were calm and operated on their own, communicating and synchronizing among themselves. I think there were more than a few times that I just had the look of worry on my face, and Kenny seemed to pick up on it and gave me some support. Since I knew Kenny had seen many weddings before, it had a calming effect on me when he would tell me everything is going well and on time. When it came time to do some group photos, Kenny was very organized, he knew what he wanted and moved and shifted people accordingly. I know with tons of people around, its hard to get them to move around, but Kenny did it quite quickly and efficiently; he also showed tons of patience in the process. Kenny and his crew stayed till the end and captured moments up until the end. Kenny really has a passion for what he does and he is very understanding. If you are still planning your wedding or have questions, ask Kenny, I'm sure he can point you in the right direction. Thanks for everything Kenny.

Kenny Phan provided his services as a second photographer for my wedding. I didn't meet him until after the wedding ceremony, as he was responsible for shooting the groom and groomsmen getting ready before the ceremony. Once I finally met him, I was very pleased at how professional and down-to-earth he was. I was extremely happy that my husband and I and the rest of the wedding party got along so well with him in such a short amount of time. Not only was he taking amazing photos of our special day, but he was able to do so in a way that made all the picture taking feel natural and fun too, whether the shots were formal or candid.
My husband and I had just found out he was going to be our second photographer about a week or so prior to the wedding, so we went ahead and checked out his blog and portfolio. After looking at his work and reading up on his recent entries in his blog to get a feel for his personality, we were extremely excited to be working with him on our wedding day. We knew without a doubt that he would capture the essence of our special day. After we got back from our honeymoon, we rushed to the computer to check out his pictures and were thrilled at how great they turned out. If you want a exceptional photographer who can provide you with outstanding photos for any kind of event you may have, Kenny Phan is your man! I highly recommend him!!
Vanessa and Kenny are such gifted photographers. They have great eye for things, artistic, and they capture amazing unexpected moments as well as profile shots. They are professional in every sense but also maintains a very personal level of relationship with clients, which I loved. They are responsive, diligent, prompt, and can be both casual or formal with their work. I cannot think of any particular areas of their work that needs improvement. Worth every penny we paid and will definitely refer to friends and families and will work with them again with our future life events. Highly recommended, love love love their work! Kenny (and team) did a fantastic job capturing so many special moments in our wedding. Kenny took lots of action shots and stolen/candid precious moments, which we absolutely love. We are highly satisfied with the quality of photos and service provided. Everyone of our guests, family, and friends loved our wedding photos. Kenny is very professional yet maintains a level of personal connection with us as clients, our friends, and families. The service was excellent, very flexible with our requests. The price we paid was unbelieveably reasonable, and the photos were priceless. We highly recommend Kenny and team, we know they will not disappoint. If you are looking for quality photography and attention to details, this husband and wife duo are fantastic! Not only were they a pleasure to work with, they captured every detail and special moment with amazing vantage points and clarity. I would, hands down, recommend Kenny & Vanessa to anyone who wants their pictures to be perfect!
Vanessa wasn't my actual photographer, but she should have been. Vanessa accompanied my florist to our venue to capture some shots of the flowers and she ended up getting a ton of shots that my photographer neglected to get (like our reception tables, flowers, our chuppah, various aisle shots, etc.). I was elated when my florist told me that Vanessa had taken some amazing shots, but I had no idea how good they would be!!! She captured everything beautifully and has such a great eye. The photos were more professional and well done than our actual photographer photos, which we paid a lot of money for. After our wedding, I got in touch with Vanessa to see if she would be so kind as to share some of them with me. She was so helpful and gracious in helping me save some of my 'missed' wedding memories. She gladly helped me download everything in full resolution. I will definitely contact Vanessa for future events in our family (baby?!)!! She is wonderful. She has a great eye and pays attention to all those little details. All the shots were artistic and shot in such a great light - I can't say it enough. Oh, and she is super sweet and very accomodating --- you won't be disappointed if you hire this dynamite duo!!!! They are genuinely interested in capturing all the special moments of your day. They are amazing.
