Philadelphia Trolley Works provided the transportation for our rehearsal dinner as well as our wedding day. They were easy to work with and the drivers were very friendly and professional. We're glad we hired them! The trolleys are spacious and clean and just perfect for a wedding!

I only gave them 1 because they actually got us to the wedding. Although their responsiveness was good via email and the trolley itself was beautiful, the driver was a complete idiot. He had no directions with him so when he picked up the guys, they ended up directing him so he was late to pick up the ladies. Not only was he late, he was at the wrong street that was 20 minutes away and my dad had to give him directions to get to our house. The ceremony started at 4 and it was 10 minutes away from my house, and he finally showed up at 3:55. He was supposed to be there at 3:30! He didn't apologize and acted like it was no big deal and then my dad had to give the driver directions to the church! We paid $1050 for 3 hours and this is the service we received!?! Then we were supposed to have an iPod hook-up and he told my MOH that it wasn't possible! If you want reliable service, DO NOT PICK THIS COMPANY. I e-mailed the manager and left a voicemail and never received a call back. All I can hope is none of you use this company - there are plenty of other trolley companies to choose from - we just thought we picked the right one. They are supposed to have directions with them!!! And he had no GPS.

We used Phila Trolley works for our wedding in Sept. Everyone there was great, and since we used the trolley from 1130am-11pm I got the best deal around. Not all our their trolleys have air conditioners, so make sure you request them and stay on top of that. Our driver was awesome, I wish I remembered his name, but he arrived on time and was really nice. The only negative I could give them was the driver didn't know how to work the CD/DVD player (I spent two hours trying to find "perfect" party songs for the trolley) so we didn't have any music, but looking back on it that wasn't a big deal. They also have a hookup for ipods too if you want to bring your own music. They were great though!

We had a trolley transport guests from the hotel to and from the ceremony. The guests loved the trolley and the tour of Philadelphia after the ceremony. Our driver Bill was on time and included a stop at the Art Museum when it was running ahead of schedule, we really appreciated that. The trolley was well maintained and photographed nicely.

My husband and I were married during the blizzard weekend in Philadelphia. We had 28 inches of snow, and were not completely surprised when Philadelphia Trolley Works canceled our trolley and charter bus service the day before. As per their policy, they promised to refund the deposit and the entirety of the charges (over $2K) for the cancellation; more than a month later, however, this has not been done. I have now disputed this with my credit card, but would have hoped that, because of the last minute cancellation, PTW would have refunded the charges immediately. Instead, the matter was handled in an extremely unprofessional manner -- no one at PTW has apprised us of the status of the matter, and there has been no follow-up whatsoever since the cancellation. We were able to find a replacement service via Global Limousine, who were responsive and unphased by the storm. They booked us a limousine and two charter buses immediately, and came through for us with flying colors.

the driver came on time, she drove me and my bridesmaids to the church. she was friendly but not overly friendly. unfortunately, it rained on our wedding day and the trolley was leaking! So there were certain spots on the trolley were no one could sit near for fear of getting wet! When the boys came on the trolley after the church, the driver was not friendly. We asked if she could turn on the air conditioner and she said that the trolley did not have one, but we could visibly see one hanging in the back of the trolley. Other than that, the trolley was great because its so much easier to get into that than a limo. it was spacious, we were able to bring our own drinks (but we did have to clean it up, we would get charged if we didnt) and the trolley looks really cute in pictures.

Highly Recommend The driver was so sweet. He even helped my coordinator during the ceremony by opening the doors and he brought me an umbrella during pictures when it rained a little. The trolley itself is picture perfect wooden and maroon with a white top.

I was pretty busy on the day of the wedding but my guests LOVED the trolley. We transported the guests from the hotel to the church. After the ceremony, we had 10x bottles of Moet chilling on the trolley to start the party. The trolley made several trips and was easy to work with. I did a lot of searching and found this old fashioned trolley to be the best value. It added a great touch to a special day.

Pros: fit our wedding party comfortably; made for some nice pictures; sales rep was responsive during booking. Cons: no air conditioning, even though I was assured that it would have air conditioning (it was 90 degrees out on our wedding day); driver got lost and was late picking up the bride and bridesmaids, even though I gave very specific directions to the house; driver drove erratically at times. Bottom line: I would not book this vendor again.

We used a trolley to take us from the hotel where we were getting married to a park near by. We only need the trolley for a couple of hours for pictures. They were very easy to work with and professional. We enjoyed the trolley experience as I always wanted a trolley for our wedding and glad we were able to use it to transport our large bridal party. It was a bit expensive since it was only for a couple of hours but I'm glad we used them.

We used this transportation to get from the upper lot at Valley Green to the lower lot, where the inn is located. I give them 5 stars because they were on time and efficient and managed to deal with the very narrow turn-around at the lower lot.

Best money we spent was getting everyone to TFI with the trolley company!! It was a fun ride home, too!

We hired them to provied transportation for our guests since our reception loccation is difficult to find and most people were from out of town. They provided out of state drivers who did not know they're way around either. A bus that was supposed to make two trips to the ceremony got lost on the way back to the hotel (a trip which only required 2 turns, one being out of the church parking lot!) and therefore never picked up a group of people to bring them to the ceremony. The transportation to and from the reception was even more disasterous. After taking a "busload" of only 4 guests from the reception back to the hotel, the driver got lost and did not return for over an hour (the look should have taken 25 minutes tops according the them). As a result, we had to pay our DJ to stay longer and keep the bar open for an additional hour and a half which likely cost us at least another $1000 all told. When the bus finally made it's way back we had to cram all of our remaining guests (100+) into a bus that was supposed to hold ~60 people. We're in the process of trying to get some money back from Philadelphia Trolley Works, but we'll see how that goes.We did use one of the Trolley's to transport the wedding party and it was pretty nice. A fun alternative to limos if you have a really big group.

We used Philadelphia Trolley Works for our shuttle service. We had a small bus that was supposed to shuttle people from the hotel to the venue and back. The driver was courteous, but called the bride on the day of the wedding instead of the wedding planner whose number he was given when there was a problem. The driver also didn't anticipate not fitting under one of the underpasses, so he had to take an alternate route which delayed the ceremony and threw the entire schedule off. I guess I would suggest making sure that these little details are confirmed when booking this company.

As transportation to the church for my wedding, my husband ordered a Horse drawn carriage as a surprise for me. It was wonderful! The service was outstanding, our guide was extremely friendly and I would highly recommend!

They were fast and reliable even in downtown Philly traffic during rush hour.
