When my sister decided on a destination wedding in India, we knew that we wanted to hire a photographer who could travel with us and whom we trusted. Having seen Erika's work, we were excited to invite her to be part of our festivities and photograph it all. Although weddings are all nerve-wracking, destination weddings can be even more so, particularly because it's so hard to predict how smoothly things will go. Indian weddings are really chaotic and super colorful, and we wanted to make sure we hired a photographer who could capture it in its truest sense. But Erika was so dedicated - she was up with us for the early morning ceremonies, up with us 'til late evening when we were dancing, and photographing everything in between as well! She never missed a beat. Of note, we were a little nervous about making sure that everything religious and culturally-significant was photographed in a respectful manner, and we especially wanted to make sure that she didn't miss anything that was particularly important to our family. Erika took the time to really understand those can't-miss moments before the wedding. The photos Erika sent us blew us away...we were able to relive every important moment in breathtaking color, taken with clear care and deliberation, and every time we look at them to this day, we all smile. Thank you for your terrific work and for trekking with us all the way across the world for my little sister's wedding! We wouldn't have had it any other way!

Last September my daughter, who lives in Houston, called me (I live in Michigan) to announce she and her fiance had decided to get married at a small ceremony in November in New Orleans rather than have a large wedding a year later. Bride and groom took care of venue, and dinner after the wedding. All other arrangements were up to me. My guardian angel must have been watching over me. I found Erika online, and when we spoke I immediately knew she was the one. Erika was a jewel. She put me at ease, and gave me suggestions for hotels, hair dressers, make-up artists, florists, and anything else I needed. The day of the wedding Erika was like a breath of fresh air. She was professional, friendly, courteous and patient. She had an instant connection with the bride and groom, which now I know is a most important factor in making the day run smoothly. Erika has a gift for capturing the radiance of love without being obtrusive. I can honestly say that if I hadn't found Erika I don't know what I would have done. She went above and beyond, in all ways. The photographs are outstanding, her fees were reasonable, and we have nothing but happy memories of the day. A lot of that was due to Erika! Thanks Erika!

Erika was amazing to work with! She was prompt, wonderful to the kids in our wedding party, flexible with our ever changing ideas and takes beautiful photos! She took the photos we didn't think we wanted (but we did), took the photos we requested better than we could have hoped and never stopped smiling!

It's been one year...so of course I'm reminiscing on my favorite parts of my wedding day, and that absolutely has to include Erika Parker! Without her, I wouldn't have the perfect pictures to go through to remember every perfect moment. Getting ready with my mom and bridesmaids..walking down the aisle with my dad...my groom's big smile when he first saw me...family/friends dancing...all the small details...I don't know how it's possible she's just one person, because she caught EVERY moment!! AND the pictures are gorgeous and professional. As if that isn't enough, she's also the kindest, most fun person to work with and I couldn't be happier I booked with her. Finding the right photographer can be stressful- but trust me you won't go wrong choosing Erika!
