Simply put, Marirosa is AWESOME!!!!! There are not enough words to share just how fantastic she is through out the whole process from the initial meeting to the big day; she is with you every step of the way and completely puts you at ease. We would not hesitate to recommend Marirosa and her work as she has been an absolute pleasure!

I couldn’t have asked for a better photographer. Marirosa was so easy to get along with, with her bubbly and fun personality. It felt like she was just as excited about my wedding as I was! It was like having a friend at my wedding versus a “vendor.” She was always easy to get in touch with, and was always quick to respond to my millions of questions. She was there to help, and keep me off the ledge when things got stressful. Especially when we had some trouble figuring out the dress, she guided my bridesmaids in how to get me in it without ruining my hair/makeup/veil etc! Marirosa went above and beyond a “photographer” role. Her team was great as well, and they managed to get my “grumpy” groom with some great pictures as well.  On more of a business note, Marirosa was very accommodating for our meetings, and met at evening times that worked for me at local coffee shops near me as needed (yet still managed to bring a ton of samples for me to look through!) Her pricing packages were very reasonable, and she was willing to work with my budget and what I wanted and customize a great package for me. Not to mention, the photos turned out great  To any bride that wants a photographer that you can depend on, and that will make your day extra special, I definitely recommend Marirosa!

I and my family absolutely loved Marirosa! She takes beautiful pictures and took the time to get to know myself and my fiancé. She made both of us feel completely comfortable, as I claim we are both not very photogenic!!! The quality of her work is superb and she really takes the time to capture all the details that I did not see the day of my wedding. Photography by Marirosa was the first photography vendor we looked into. In addition to the stunning pictures on her website, she is one of only a few photographers in the DC area that shares her pricing up front on her website. We were impressed by her portfolio, so we set up a meeting with her to see if it would be a good personality match for us.

You will instantly love Marirosa.

Her bubbly, energetic personality is infectious. She has a great little studio and happily shares all of her sample books with you so you can get a clear idea of her style. She never tried to upsell us – she’s incredibly honest and open and will only suggest services that she thinks are good for you. After meeting Marirosa, we signed on with her right away.

We had a 15 month engagement, so I didn’t expect to speak to her until closer to the wedding. However, Marirosa checked in with us several times throughout our engagement just to say hi and see how the planning was going. It was such a nice touch and a great way to develop a rapport so that we weren’t completely awkward in front of the camera on our wedding day. She also suggests you send her photos that you like, so she can get a better idea of your style.

On-site, Marirosa was phenomenal! She was on-time and took charge to capture all of the family shots we needed. She was so friendly with our family and friends, they all loved her too. Also, she’s super stealthy – once everything gets started, you never see her, but she is capturing everything. As a bonus, Marirosa is a jack of all trades - she willingly jumps in to help with anything! She really tries to do anything she can to make your day perfect.

Her turnaround time was incredibly fast. Marirosa edits around the clock, so she was able to send us a sneak peek the very next day and our online album only days later! Her shots are absolutely amazing. Marirosa didn’t just take pictures, she captured some of the most beautiful and personal moments that we will remember forever. Love, love, love her!

W O W! Marirosa is UNBELIEVABLE! I used her for Boudior and my wedding and she is AMAZING. First off, our first conversation she totally put me at ease and I realized immediately that I was dealing with a seasoned professional. Marirosa LISTENS- she provided me with a package that fit my needs and my wedding budget. Additionally, she made me feel so comfortable and on our special day- she was TOTALLY in control, kept me calm and moved swiftly as to not impede the flow of our celebration. She is STEALTH- and able to obtain images you never thought possible as she is not overbearing, in your face or in the way of the guests view. The quality of the work is breathtaking- she recreated every moment for us in still life. Marirosa personalizes everything and plays to the individuals strengths and the couples needs. I cannot wait for her to take photos of our family!! I will rave about her work for the rest of my life.

I can't say any negative thing that happened between Marirosa and I..if anything she somehow made everything else that had nothing to do with photography get better too! Funny but true. Well, my husband and I enjoyed the process she is very professional we met 2 times before the actual wedding and she was on top of it. She worked well with my family and my fiance's family. Being bilingual esp helped in our case. She also worked well with my wedding planner. Well she went above and beyond and by far the best vendor in my wedding. THANK YOU AND GOODBYE!

Oh my gosh Marirosa did such an amazing job with photogrpahingmy wedding!!! So far every picture I've seen, I have LOVED!!! There is not one bad picture and she captured every moment perfectly. It is so nice to have a photographer that can recreate your wedding through pictures and tell a story with them and she did just that. The slideshow/video she made has made everyone cry over and over everytime they watch it, she did a wonderful job on putting that together and she did everything sooo fast. I have had so many compliments on her photographs that other people want to use her for their weddings in the future and also on how friendly and nice and accommodating she was. She worked very well with us, especially with the crazy week we had before the wedding. I was hospitalized and let out of the hospital the day before the wedding and Marirosa did such a great job with working me through that hard time and was still able to be super organized on the day of the wedding even though we never had really gone over final details....she really was organized and was right on schedule and everything turned out PERFECT. We love her personality and her photographs and reccommend her to everyone!!!

After shopping around for a wedding photographer, it was obvious who we were going to choose after speaking with Marirosa. Marirosa shot our engagement session, a boudoir shoot, our wedding day, and we're already discussing a trash the dress shoot! I can't say enough about how wonderful it has been to work with her. I absolutely love how our engagement pics and boudoir shoot came out (as does my husband!) and we're excited for our next shoot this spring! The first half of our wedding day was a little hectic, and Marirosa completely took over and ran the show, allowing me to sit back and relax and not worry about another thing. Not only did it seem as though she was ALWAYS right there capturing the perfect moment, but she gave great direction during our posed shots as well. It could very possibly be awkward having a photographer spend so much time with you on your special day, but Marirosa fit right in with our families and left us feeling at ease the whole time. She has the perfect blend of formal shots with artistic pictures that my husband and I both just adored. I cannot recommend her enough!! Trust me...you'll thank me for it later!!! :)

Words cannot describe the services and the photographs Marirosa took on the day of our wedding. She was Fantastic! Incredible! Amazing! I would have complimented the professionalism, personality, and amazing photos from Marirosa (and Stacy) before I came to this site- but seeing that our photo is on her profile- I guess I have to swoon over her even more!! Seriously, my husband hates having his picture taken, and our engagement session and wedding photo sessions were so much fun, I don't think he even realized he was having his picture taken. The photos really captured us, and our personalities, and especially our relationship! Thanks so much, Marirosa! I'm sure you'll be our family photographer for years to come!

The day of your wedding can be stressful, nervous, and exciting all at the same time. The one area that I did not have to be worried about was my photographer - Marirosa Anderson! From our first meeting, she was friendly, fun, outgoing, professional and so easy to work with. She helped with my wedding planning but providing ideas for colors that would look good in pictures and was so amazing on my wedding day. She responds back immediately when I had questions or calls - I felt as though I was her only client - which is a great feeling!! The feedback from friends and family during and after the wedding was so positive and the pictures are absolutely amazing! There are over 600 from my wedding and they turned out better than I ever thought or have seen from other weddings. I want to print all 600 and frame! I got so lucky with such an amazing photographer so I would recommend her 1000%!

Tremendous flexibility and so easy to work with!

I had a very good experience working with this photographer, I was very pleased with the turn around time and the finished product.

She is a great person, very helpful on wedding day! I was not as impressed with the quality of pictures of my wedding as the ones she had shown. When we took group photos, there were windows in the background which took away from the people. As a photographer, she should have had the pictures taken somewhere else. There was also some pictures that were not centered, and I felt would have looked better if they were centered. Overall, I think she is good though.

Marirosa is an amazing photographer. She has a very distinctive eye and great instincts when it comes to capturing special moments on film. She also has a great, bubbly personality, which is great if you aren't used to having your picture taken. She takes unique and terrific candid shots, and posed portraits. I highly recommend her work!
