Shay assisted my husband and I with wedding planning. I think we had the lowest stress wedding day ever in the history of mankind due to Shay's services! :) We truly did not have to do anything but be in the moment that day, which was awesome. I live almost 3 hours away from our wedding venue so Shay helped to relieve a lot of uneasiness and was always just an email, phone call or text away with a positive and reassuring attitude. I would highly recommend her to anyone in the Hampton Roads area because she is well connected in her industry and is very knowledgeable. She also helps to make your wedding day a low-stress day of celebration filled with joy and positive memories--which is so priceless. THANK YOU SHAY!!!!

Shay was our voice of reason, experience and wisdom. We could not have done it without her. She instinctively understood just what "mood" we were looking for and was able to help us achieve a more perfect wedding than we ever imagined!

Shay with A Pinch of Charm was AMAZING to work with! She helped us get right on track with where we needed to be, set up our timeline, and pretty much took a tremendous amount of stress off of our shoulders. Our wedding day could not have gone any more smoothly! She literally had everything laid out, in order, and on time (which was a big deal to me!). If she asked me to make a decision and I just didn't know what to do, I asked her to handle it...and she must have read my mind because she knew exactly what I wanted even if I didn't. She is a wonderful, sweet, and caring person and made our wedding day even better than what we could have ever imagined! She truly puts her heart and soul into her work and it shows. I had numerous guests ask me who coordinated our wedding because she had done such an awesome job! We woke up the next morning and talked about everything that we loved and realized there was nothing we would ever change and that was because Shay had been there to make it perfect for us. We will never be able to thank her enough for all the hard work she did on our special day!

My husband and I ran into Shay while touring our venue, and I am so glad that we did. Shay was a miracle, our wedding would never have gone as smoothly as it did without her. My husband and I live out of town so we needed someone we could depend on to help us, and Shay fit that bill and then some. Late night Skype dates, dealing with delayed/canceled flights, she dealt with all the hassles of having an out of town bride. She recommended all of our vendors and I couldn't have asked for a better team. She also worked with our budget. We actually came in under budget and got more than we were planning on, like a pianist for the ceremony and a jazz band for the cocktail hour. Our wedding was perfect and it was all thanks to Shay, she took care of everything. I would recommend her to any bride, she is a true professional and a great wedding planner.

I can't say enough about Shay! She is the absolute BEST! Not only is she super friendly and just an all around awesome girl, but she made my wedding day PERFECT! Not gonna lie, I was worried and stressing the day before the wedding, thinking "How on earth is she gonna pull all this stuff together and make it work?" But she did it! Our reception was under a big tent in our backyard, and our ceremony was in the front yard. Before the wedding I peeked out the window and saw all of our decorations, centerpieces, place settings, and everything we had been planning and DIYing for months, and it took my breath away. Our theme was shabby/chic and rustic. We used a lot of burlap, mason jars, paper lanterns, etc. Shay can work wonders with some burlap, let me tell you! She made everything look so fun and cute. It was exactly what we wanted it to look like. She also coordinated everything from the rehearsal to the very last dance. She was on top of things the entire night making sure everything ran smoothly. And it did! I know she and I will remain friends even after the wedding. I wholeheartedly recommend her to any bride! <3

These girls are awesome! I don't know what my mom and I would have done without their guidance and support!!! I was busy moving and working during the planning and they were there WHENEVER we needed them to help with ALL/ALL of our needs! There were times that I was really stressed and they were there to help and even just listen! Their vendor recommendations were great too!!! Honestly...great women and a great business!!!

My husband and I met Shay on our wedding venue tour. Even though we didn't go with that site, we contacted Shay for her event planning services later in the year. We went into the meeting still lacking in some areas of our wedding, but Shay connected all the dots. We left our meeting feeling so optimistic about Shay being our planner. During the whole event planning process, Shay was professional, dedicated and passionate about her work. My husband and I truly love Shay and enjoyed her being in our lives. Initially when I found out that I would be getting married the thought of getting a wedding planner was a little intimidating but I knew would be essential. I called around to a few people but Shay was the one that I chose because she was so attentive and able to fit me in for a meeting ASAP. I loved the fact that she was so available if I needed to speak with her and how she saw my vision and actually helped me improve upon it. We had a small wedding in our back yard and it was lovely. Shay was there to help coordinate for the DJ and with the rentals. She was there to help me decorate and set up as well. She is a great asset to any bride who needs a helping hand and to any bride that has no clue what is needed at a wedding. I could not have asked for a better person to help me pull off my quaint little shindig.

So appreciative of what Shay and her team did for me. I was in a tight spot and needed a coordinator in a short time and she pulled through. They went above and beyond to help me on my wedding day. Definitely recommend A Pinch of Charm to any bride looking for a coordinator :)

A Pinch of Charm stepped in and saved our wedding planning! We began planning our wedding last July and thought we could do everthing ourselves. We quickly realized that planning a wedding from a far was very difficult and we were way in over our heads. We touched base with A Pinch of Charm in December and it was smooth sailing from our first meeting. They completely understood our vision and helped us achieve our dream wedding. We can honestly say that we didnt feel one ounce of stress the day of the wedding; everything went off without a hitch (and if something didnt go the way it was supposed to, we never knew!)

A Pinch of Charm was more than a vendor, they became a part of our family and we will never forget how they made our day completely magical down to the very last detail!

Shay and her assistants Jasmine & Jasmine were the best I could have ever asked for! Shay will go above and beyond for her brides. She will do anything in her power to help you get the best deals. I first met her when viewing the Chamberlain for a possible venue. Although we did not choose the Chamberlain, we kept meeting at bridal shows and the next thing I knew, we were making plans for Shay to coordinate our wedding! My extire esperience working with Shay was wonderful. I have and will recommend Shay to anyone in need of wedding services/advice, she is the absolute best!

I was so impressed with Shay Rybin's never say never attitude about her work. She truly loves what she does and believes it is your day and she is going to get it exactly right. I had only met her once one month prior to my renewal and she totally got me. I was having issues giving up control as far as decorating went because i knew my vision but she mixed my things with her things and it was so beautiful and perfect, I was amazed how well she seemed to know me just from one visit to my home, one meeting and a lil Pinterest. Also I have to mention our 10year vow renewal dubbed Revow Wow certainly was as it was supposed to be outside but due to a tornado that came through as close as you can get without hitting my street pretty much right when we were saying our vows Shay never stopped! She was outside with me all day decorating, setting tables, hanging lanterns, making lanterns...and just as we were "done" the rain began. She broke down the table settings I think twice, continuing to say 'Its going to stop any minute' bless her heart. When we finally knew it was not going to happen outside despite all of our hard work she spun into next gear as I had no real back up plan but going inside my home with our fifty guests. I can only imagine how much work went into the quick revamp she did inside to get my cake table set up, figured it was all to happen in our living room rather than front porch and set up food and decor in dining room and living room. I was ordered to go get ready and let her do it. :) As much as I wanted her to have fun and enjoy our reception she stayed with much nudging to at least eat and enjoy her hard work even though she was still in her clothes from the day. I have to say not only was i most impressed and happy to call her friend but so was my Mother who is not easliy moved as she has always been the MOC and often the decorator and coordinator of many a wedding. She could not sing enough praises for Shay. So if you need someone who will go above and beyond for you on your special day, make you feel so beautiful and like no matter what it is all going to work out and through her tireless efforts it sure will Pinch of Charm and Shay Rybin is the girl for you! Grace under pressure is such the understatement as I have said to her before. Our renewal would never have gotten done as beautifully as it did despite all the bad weather with out her and her team. She truly loves her work and her brides and it shows. Thank you Shay!! <3

Pinch of charm is wonderful! I planned my Virginia wedding by myself from fl and needed lots of help! POC was there for me every step of the way :) From helping me find vendors to taking over on my special day...I couldn't have done it without them! My favorite part is that Ashley took time to have me sit, relax, and eat on my special day (something you WILL forget).  They were so flexible with my tight and hectic schedule, and could always contact them at any time. Highly recommend!

What can I say about Shay other than she is simply amazing! When I work an event with Shay it is a dream come true.
