Pine Peaks Event Center

I would highly recommend Pine Peaks Event Center!!! Dave and Julie are the best!! If you are looking for GREAT customer service and someone that will no matter what obstacles occur make your day the most memorable one, this is the place for your event. I cannot express my gratitude to them enough! They were the best to work with, very great communication on every detail with meetings, emails, phone calls and they listened to everything that she wanted and made every detail to perfection! We had almost 200 guests and everyone of them were blown away by the beauty of the event center and the retreat house. Everyone is still talking about how much fun they had, several comments about this being the best wedding they have ever been too!

Dave and Julie (owners/managers of event center) were so welcoming and helpful throughout the entire wedding process. They were very professional, kind, and always willing to help.

The event center itself was highly customizable, and we were able to make personal touches to make the wedding “ours”. At the Event Center you have access to a room full of decorations to use at your discretion.

The guest house (where our wedding party stayed for the weekend) was spacious and a great place to entertain and prepare for the wedding. It also would have been a great place to stay for a weekend away (even if we had not had a wedding at the Event Center). It was helpful to have the guest house just a few steps away from the Event Center.

Overall, the best thing about having our wedding at Pine Peaks Event Center was the privacy. We were able to host a wedding with about 150 guests (could have had more) on private property and lodge next door for an entire weekend (unlike at many resorts when you have to deal with other guests, other events, and sometimes even other weddings going on at the same time).

We cannot recommend the Pine Peaks Event Center more highly.

The owners and operators of Pine Peaks Event Center, Dave and Julie, should be commended for the outstanding service they provided for our daughter's wedding. We rented the lodge retreat home which is on the event center grounds from Thursday - Sunday for the groom's dinner and for the wedding party to enjoy together. This was so special to have a place where the wedding party could just be together and have fun over the course of the whole weekend. The lodge home was one of the reasons we chose this venue, it's intimate and cozy and that's what my daughter and our son-in-law loved so much about the Pine Peaks Event Center over others we looked at. We were also able to get into the event center on Thursday to decorate. Dave and Julie were right there to answer any questions and help with anything we needed. Everything was so wonderful, as I reflect back on the event and our choice of venue; I really can say we wouldn't have changed a thing. It was beautiful, everything from the Lodge to the outdoor ceremony on the grounds to the beautiful reception area to the overall warmth and feel of the place. Dave and Julie were so incredibly accommodating, Dave had told me that the only persons who were more excited about our daughter's wedding besides my husband and I was him and Julie. That could sound like "a line" but honestly they lived that out through their wonderful service and hospitality. Thanks Dave and Julie, we have the most wonderful memories of our daughter's wedding and I know Ryan and Becky feel the same way too.

We visited the Pine Peaks Event Center at the last minute, after we had already thought we found our wedding venue (the previous place we toured). But coming here blew us away! Everything we saw that they had to offer made us confident that this was the perfect place for our wedding! As time went by we were in close contact with Dave & Julie Peterson (Owners of the establishment) and they were more than just owners, they were very hands on and passionate about helping us plan our perfect day.
The day before our wedding we had our grooms dinner there and we never saw Dave and Julie leave the reception hall because they were diligently working away to make sure that everything was going to work out perfect the following day. As our friends and family arrived to the dinner, they were in awe and kept raving about how beautiful the grounds, reception hall and house are.
When the wedding day came, everything went exactly as planned! It was the perfect day for us and all of our guests! Our guests had a blast at the reception! They all told us that it was the perfect spot for a wedding and how they loved the transition from the outdoor wedding to the cocktail hour, followed by the reception and dance!
We made a whole weekend out of our wedding and invited our wedding party to arrive Friday and stay in the large house with us until Sunday. We loved this option because we thought, 'How often do you get to stay in a beautiful and fun house with 20 of your best friends!?'
We had our wedding on Sept. 29th 2012 and HIGHLY recommend this venue!!! We lucked out with amazing weather and beautiful fall colors for our outdoor ceremony.
I suggest taking a tour of the Pine Peaks Event Center and seeing all that they have to offer.

I was well pleased with the selection of Pine Peaks Event Center the girls made for my Daughters wedding.
I took the back seat and let the girls do the whole thing.
They are both very detailed and have a high standard for service.
The owners of Pine Peaks Event Center Julie and Dave were great to work with.
I saw things through the eyes of a guy ( Father of the Bride ).
Dave was so good to work with. We had a grill out for the Grooms Dinner, and could not have had more fun. He was available but not hovering. Do you need charcoal or do you want to use the gas grill ?
We could set that up right over here if that works for you.
I never felt like I was asking for a favor no matter what it was.
The topper is when my wife noticed her iron was missing. She thought maybe she forgot it at the Guest House. She called Dave, he showed up the next day with the iron. That is the kind of service you do not forget.
I recommend you take a look at Pine Peaks Event Center for your occasion. You will not be disappointed, my daughters wedding was more enjoyable because of the facility and owners Dave & Julie.
The Catering service by Maucieri's was Great !

The quality of service from Dave and Julie was absolutely the best we have ever experienced. They were attentive to all of our needs and extremely prompt responding to anything and everything. Their professionalism was impeccable and you get more than you pay for with this venue with the people, location and breath-taking views. They have a one of a kind facility and are wonderful, genuine people. Can't say enough good about them. Our wedding went off without a hitch. Perfect.

My daughter & her husband were recently married at Pine Peaks Event Center & as mother of the bride I could not have been more please with the venue. It is a beautiful location for a wedding & with the house able to accommodate up to 20 or so people, a great venue for a family reunion also. The property & grounds are gorgeous with the waterfall, pond, gardens & lawn all immaculately maintained. We heard many comments about what a beautiful & perfect spot it is for a wedding with everything right there. I love the privacy & quiet it offers along with the country surroundings. It is a very unique spot. Dave & Julie are two of the nicest people I know & sincerely wanted to help make the wedding a dream come true. They are both very helpful, accommodating & flexible. It was an amazing day at an amazing venue.

Pine Peaks Event Center is such a beautiful location for a wedding. We we're so fortunate to have found a venue like this right in our back yard. It had everything we needed for our dream wedding, including a stunning area for an outdoor ceremony, a lovely indoor reception room with a great bar, and also an amazing house for our out of town guests to stay. It made for such a fun and memorable weekend. Dave and Julie were beyond helpful. They were so accommodating, and worked so hard to help make our vision come alive. We truly could not have had a more perfect day. We are so grateful, thank you.

My niece was married at Pine Peaks Event Center in Cross Lake and I know she and the entire family couldn't have been happier with her entire wedding. We arrived three days early and stayed in the Bride's Home on property which was perfect for family meals, visiting and relaxing. The bedrooms are spacious and the home is equipped with upscale amenities, appliances, linens and everything we needed to enjoy ourselves.
From the moment we arrived Dave and Julie (the owners) were busy tending to the property, planting, cleaning, sweeping and getting everything ready for the wedding day. If we needed something, they took care of it promptly and with a smile. On the wedding day an entire crew arrived to make sure no leaves, grass clippings or any debris was left on the grounds.
I am a wedding planner so have the opportunity to experience many wedding venues and I can say that Pine Peaks Event Center is a true hidden gem. The ceremony site was rustic and serene with a small waterfall and babbling brook running through the grounds. The reception venue is spacious and can be personalized to fit the dreams and desires of all brides. They even have a brick pizza oven which is perfect for late night pizza's after many hours of dancing. I can't think of a thing I'd change about Pine Peaks Event Center. Everything was wonderful.

We had our wedding at Pine Peaks Event Center on July 21, 2012. One word to describe our experience; Fantastic! From the first time we met Dave and Julie until our wedding was over, they were always welcoming and friendly. They were easy to work worth and very personable. We used the Event Center and the Retreat House. The wedding party stayed in the Retreat House Friday through Sunday-- We were able to decorate all day Friday, and have the Groom's Dinner under the pavillion that night, and Saturday after our wedding we didn't have to worry about cleaning up or being out at a certain time, we were able to wake up Sunday morning and take everything down and leave when we wanted. There was no pressure about leaving, as there was not a certain check out time. The whole weekend we didn't need to worry about others watching our wedding or random people walking by, like you would have at a resort. The grounds are beautiful!! We had our ceremony outside and it was gorgeous. They came and mowed the grass the morning of the wedding so there were'nt any grass clippings, and they weeded the flowers so everything was perfect! Dave and Julie had a lot of decorations we got to use at no additional cost; vases, rocks, candles, waterproof lights, and flowers are just the beginning of the list. There was a projector and screen that could also be used at no extra charge. The tables, linens, chairs, and table skirting was all included in the price. The ceiling drapings are already hung up for you, and Julie decorated our head table for us. You really have to go there and see it to truly appreiate everything they have to offer. It was everything and more that I could have asked for in a wedding venue! I would highly recommend Pine Peaks to everyone.

Dave was so helpful with so many things with planning our dream wedding! He was always there to help us whenever we need no matter the day or time. He was also very flexible with us to make sure we got everything done we needed and wanted. To Dave it isn't just about the money like some venders in the area are but he wants your day to be as perfect as possible and will make it so your day is perfect! I would highly recommend Pine Peaks Event Center not only because of Dave but the atmosphere of the whole area is just wonderful and we loved that it was away from everything! We will definitely be referring all of our friends to Pine Peaks Event Center!

Apparently I am unable to review the location until after my wedding but I changed the date for this year to share with everyone what an amazing experience we've had so far! My fiance and I are currently working with Dave and Julie and we couldn't be more happy that we chose this location to hold our wedding. Their hospitality and moral is simply amazing. They are quick to get back to you when there is a question and take their time helping you out. I am so excited to spend our special day there in June of next summer. MORE than what we imagined for our wedding. Beautiful place and great people. I would definetly recommend this venue for brides and grooms that are searching. I'm confident my wedding guests will be talking about the location as well.

Dave & Julie are fantastic! Their passion for bringing a wedding to life is truly amazing. They are wonderful people to work with and a real joy to be around. Both Dave & Julie offered their helpful opinions, yet they still allowed us to have free reign on how we wanted our dream wedding to be. We never heard the word "no" from them, it was always about what can they do to make it happen. This is such a magical place with stunning views and wildlife surrounding the whole site. We really appreciated the lodge on the property for our guests to stay in and get ready. Overall we would 100% recommend Pine Peaks Wedding & Event Center to our friends and family.

From the first moment we saw the Event Center when we pulled in, we instantly knew we wanted to get married there. When we were introduced to Dave and Julie, the owners of the establishment, we knew our wedding would be wonderful. They were helpful, happy, and just all around great people to work with and they made our day even more special by helping with all the details. We had our ceremony at the outdoor arbor, thankfully it turned out to be weather-permitting, and they provided us with everything we needed to create a beautiful outdoor wedding. Our reception was held inside the Event Center, and everything was AMAZING. The decorations, the dance floor, the bar, EVERYTHING was just awesome. What else could any bride possibly want than to have nothing to worry about on her wedding day, work with some great people, and exceed her expectations? I can't think of anything. I strongly suggest taking a tour of the Pine Peaks Event Center and you will fall in love with it too.

Unbelievable!!! My husband and I were married here over Labor Day weekend in September, 2011. There is no possible way we could have had a better experience! We had the groom's dinner Friday night in the pavilion, our ceremony was outdoors on Saturday before we were able to move our guests right to the Event Center for the reception, and finally, we were able to relax and have brunch on Sunday morning without having to rush to check out. It was so nice for our wedding party to be able to stay at this location for the entire weekend... No rushing or stressing involved! I can't express how impressed we were with how well everything was handled. So many things had already been thought out ahead of time, which took away a ton of the pre-wedding stress. The site for our outdoor ceremony was breathtaking! The lawn was lush and green, flowers and plants were abundant, and the layout for the guest chairs led to the perfect backdrop for our ceremony. And the catering from Maucieri's was absolutely delicious and was presented beautifully. Everyone for Pine Peaks Retreat & Event Center paid so much attention to detail and made our day into the perfect fairytale. We will continue to recommend this venue with the highest of praise!

We enjoy every wedding we get to cater at Pine Peaks Event Center. Dave and Julie work with us so well to make sure each wedding is very special for each couple. This wedding venue is so private and personal for the wedding of dreams but yet so spacious with seating for 200 plus in the Event Center that is complete with a full bar and prep kitchen. The Retreat House is close by and used to house the entire wedding party. We have catered many Rehearsal dinners and Brunches in this large spacious house for 30-40 people. This is the perfect Wedding Resort.
