Pine River Ranch

We wanted our wedding outside in the snow. The staff made every effort to make sure we could do the ceremony outdoors by flattening out the snow as best as they could. They were very helpful with our needs to cater the food ourselves. They explained their expectations from the get-go. We were a transition wedding from two forms of managers and they tried to work with our ideas that we had put into place with previous management. They were excited and involved during the wedding day and rehearsal. The bussers were supposed to be filling the water glasses throughout the night but they were taking the glasses away when clearing the tables instead of offering more water. The sound system is not very good quality. We had our own music on an i-pod. The microphone was making the receiver smoke the night before. They did find a replacement from a local dj for the reception which was very helpful but their overall sound system equipment could be improved on. They want to make your desires happen for your wedding and are very accommodating and flexible. However, communicating was much harder than I expected. They often did not return phone calls or emails right away. The best communication that we did have was when we would actually go to the venue which was easier for us then I am sure some people because we have a cabin near by. The day was beautiful. Their grounds are perfect all year long for pictures and outdoor weddings. Everything was so smooth and we were able to have our somewhat casual "party" of a wedding that we wanted :)

Rachel and David were extremely flexible and helpful throughout the whole process. The Ranch was absolutely beautiful and we could not have picked a better place to get married at. Anyone who is looking for an outdoor/indoor venue CANNOT go wrong with Pine River Ranch.

My daughter was married at Pine River Ranch on Jan 3rd 2013 . It was perfect. It was everything she had hoped for the venue and suites were to die for . We just loved the decor it was right up our allie. We love the outdoors and the snow shoeing on the property was great.They service breakfest to your suite every morning that too was great. Stuff and managers were great to work with. very flexable.

Having our wedding at Pine river ranch was a dream come true. David and Rachel were welcoming and helpful every step of the way. We had such a blast, were going back in March for a getaway:-)

We fell in love with Pine River Ranch the first time we visited in 2009. When we were engaged we both knew exactly where we would have our big day. Rachel and David were wonderfully helpful, giving suggestions during the rehearsal and on the wedding day. We look forward to visit Pine River many times in our future!

We thoroughly enjoyed working with Rachel and David prior to our wedding and being able to have our wedding at the beautiful Pine River Ranch venue.

The venue itself is amazing. If you're looking for a venue with a beautiful outdoor ceremony area and an indoor option for a reception, or even a backup for bad weather, this is the perfect location. Our late July wedding was perfect weather, sunny and warm with a bit of a breeze. Our ceremony was at 5:00 and the shade of the evergreens covered our guests to keep them out of the sun as the ceremony began. It's hard to say whether we loved the beautiful meadow and mountain view we enjoyed at the ceremony or the rustic barn with the enchanting lights strung across the ceiling more. For our reception, we were able to simply plug in iPod/laptop into the sound system and be our own DJ, which saved us a ton of money. Another perk of this location is that we were able to serve our own food and beer/wine, and were not required to go through a certain vendor. While Pine River Ranch doesn't have any way to heat up any food, we decided to serve cold food (turkey wraps, potato salad, pasta salad, chips, dip...) since it was a hot summer day. The guests were happy and loved dinner...even though much of it was purchased at Costco. Go figure!

Rachel and David...what can we say?! We loved how helpful, positive and easy going they were. We could not have asked for anyone better. They love their job and it shows. We will definitely be returning to stay here, since it is also a bed and...

Due to our current circumstances we picked this venue sight unseen. There was a slightly rocky start in communication at the beginning. However when we arrived and met Larry, Allan, Rachel and David everything changed. They were all amazingly hospitable and accommodating to the point of filling in when they found out our photographer had cancelled.
The site is breathtaking and made for very happy guests and beautiful pictures.
My husband and I would HIGHLY recommend this site to anyone looking for an all-in-one...

We initially signed with the couple that provided all the wonderful feedback you see in the other 15 reviews. They changed over to new management in mid 2011 and it was the worst in professionalism, follow up (they have at least 3 different email addresses that they're using) and responsiveness that I've ever experienced, particularly for that amount of money. The day of the wedding the septic system broke and the guests had no facilities. We asked them to bring in port-a-potties, which they did, but provided no lighting so it was like going in a dark closet. The staff audibly said in front of our guests "that's what you get for having a wedding in the winter" -despite that PRR advertises as a winter wedding venue, which to me says they are prepared for winter. They only contacted us when they wanted money, returned our emails in cryptic half sentences and when I asked for a floor plan for our wedding coordinator, was informed they don't have one, not even an emergency exit one. They made one which was awful, not to scale (they drew a square for a rectangular space) duplicated things, doubled them- it was a mess. There's a very long list of items- including the fact that 2months later we're still waiting for the owners to follow up with us (at their request initially) when we declined letting them use our wedding photos on their site to advertise for more winter weddings. If you would like more information, please contact me- I would be more than happy to save another bride from dealing with them.
The only saving piece- is that the facility and grounds are indeed gorgeous and the bed/breakfast portion of the business is excellent. Just not the place to have a wedding with professionals. At least not at the rates they're charging.

Pine River Ranch provided an amazing location and service for my son and daughter-in-laws October 2011 wedding. The 6 guest rooms provided a relaxed and convenient location for immediate family. The owners and their families did everything asked (and more!) to make the rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, outside wedding and inside reception wonderful. Everything promised was delivered. The weather was a little iffy for a late October wedding - and it even pulled through for blue skies and a little snow dusting of hills. It's a comfortable and lovely locations.

Our daughter Samantha's wedding at the Pine River Ranch was everything she dreamed of. We couldn't be more satisified with Carrie and Rob with all their staff for the two days we were there. They were awesome to work with. We would highly recommend them for any parents daughter that wants a dream come true wedding. The vendors that we worked with from Ravenous catering, Country Boys BBQ and Bea's cakes were outstanding as well. The locations was beautiful the day sunny and warm & rooms were great. Last but not least food served for breakfast was great. We recommend other brides use them as well for their weddings. Again all our thanks goes out to the staff at Pine River Ranch during the wedding of our daughter Samantha & Collins wedding experience on Aug 3rd & 4th 2011. Thank you so much!!

Pine River Ranch was the best!! We got married there on August 4th and they did an amazing job. Our wedding was beautiful and i never had to worry about anything the whole day. They took care of everything and were so pleasant to work with. Our every need was met. The location is gorgeous and the ranch is just as beautiful. I recommend pine river ranch to anyone who wants to have their wedding in the mountains of Washington surrounded with amazing scenery, you wont have to worry about anything, rob and carri will take care of everything for you and your guest. You'll be able to just enjoy your special day with your love!

Wow, we cannot express how incredible our wedding was at Pine River Ranch! The location, scenery, and Pacific NW charm of the lodge, barn, and suites was straight out of a movie. Even our local friends and family were in awe of the grandeur of this place. We would do it over again in a heartbeat! In fact, we just may celebrate our anniversary there next year.

Getting to know the owners, hosts, and staff was effortless. We felt like family instantly, and they were so warm and friendly to all our guests. Rob & Carrie, Allan, and Mars were so amazing, not to mention flexible with our weekday wedding. They also very willingly did everything in their power to help us keep our environmental impact low and have the greenest possible wedding...even when it wasn't convenient. Everyone involved was well beyond gracious and fair, and that's a rare find in the wedding services industry.

As for the lodging and rented suites...beautiful! Very comfy and luxuriously equipped with everything you need and more. We chose the Lodgepole (awesome view, amazing tub/shower combo, really cool bed frame)...but we honestly would have been happy with any one of them. We had family in from all over, and it was nice to have those that traveled stay at PRR with us in the neighboring suites. The family room in the main house was a nice hub for everyone to spend time together and enjoy the merging of families. We even had everyone together for a family breakfast the morning after the wedding. Speaking of breakfast....FABULOUS!

We definitely recommend the 2-Day wedding. You have the ranch the whole day before for rehearsal and planning. This is especially helpful to your vendors like photographer and dj to see when and where it all takes place. Plus, Rob & Carrie are nearby to answer any questions and offer advice to make sure the big day goes smoothly. And speaking as an ever busy bride, it was really nice to get up there and get everything all squared away so that the little things were mostly taken care of by the wedding; all we had left to do was thoroughly enjoy ourselves and our friends and families!

Tim, Karen and the rest of their crew were sooooo wonderful to have on our big day! Everyone was so accomodating and helped out so much! They set up everything from tables, centerpieces, bar, table, etc. I felt like I had nothing to do but just wander around and admire how amazing everything was! They took pictures for us at the rehearsal dinner, had great breakfasts on both mornings we were there and even did the clean up for us! Everyone was so friendly and excited for our big day! I definately would reccomend Pine River Ranch to any bride and groom! Before Pine River turned into a wedding venue/B&B, my family lived on the ranch and it was the first place I was brought home to after I was born. The ranch held so many memories for my family! The rooms were gorgeous and they each had a special touch to make it different from the rest! It was the BEST weekend of my life and Tim and Karen and the crew made it wonderful and fun! Thanks to everyone there!

when looking for a place on wedding wire the pictures just blew me away, how great the place looked, then when the day came, it was just beatifull all done up with flower and stuff. the staff was great! BEST PLACE FOR A Ceremony & Reception!

Stunning Wedding Venue and Gorgeous Bed and Breakfast! My god daughter was married at Pine River Ranch last weekend and the venue was amazing. The outdoor ceremony setting and indoor barn for the reception were perfect (and for a late spring wedding the back up plan with the indoor barn was a must) Luckily, the weather was perfect for their nuptials. Rob & Carrie, the hosts, were so accommodating to my god daughter and we felt like family getting married there. Everything was set up by the staff (tables, chairs, linens etc) so all we had to do was show up and put the centerpieces in place. They chose the 2 day wedding package which was so nice to have the rehearsal dinner the night before and plenty of time in the morning to get set up and make sure everything was in place then have the entire morning for photos and to enjoy ourselves. (Not to mention breakfast in the morning at the Bed and Breakfast was AMAZING!) Some of the venues we toured were only available for 6-8 hours for the same package price we paid at Pine River Ranch. Overall, we could not have been happier for our god daughter and we feel blessed that we found Pine River Ranch, we would recommend this wedding venue to anyone looking for a beautiful outdoor ceremony with a reception hall on site.

The location is beautiful, having all the "stuff" like tables, linens, drink tubs, chairs, parking attendants, cleanup staff, etc., makes this a really good deal. You still need to hire a caterer and florist, but pretty much everything else is taken care of. The only improvement we would suggest is to bring your own sound system. People who are not accustomed to speaking with a microphone (for the toasts) need to have a mike they can trust not to cut out.

This place is amazing. we just had our wedding 3-11-2010 all in the barn. We had a turn out of about 80 people and it was comfortable could have held another 50 easily. Tim was great, helpful in everyway even let us show up a day early to prep for our wedding. Very low stress his staff was awsome set up and tare down complete. we will be back next year and many more years to follow. cant say enough nice things about this place and staff.

Absolute perfection! Having grown up on a small farm in Washington I always knew I wanted to be married back in that area on a farm with a big barn for the reception. Now living in San Francisco the search for such a site was done on-line and it was daunting. Once I came across Pine River Ranch I was hooked! Their website is descriptive and honest and the package they offer is thorough and fair. After MANY friendly email exchanges with Tim where he was quick to respond and offered great insight and suggestions, we took the plunge and signed contracts site unseen.

A month or so later we took a trip to the area to meet with caterer, officiant, dj, etc and to see Pine River Ranch. We were a little nervous about it living up to the pictures and our expectations but there was no need.... It is even more gorgeous than any photo can capture!! We were there in the spring and our wedding was going to be in the fall. We could tell that no matter the season the property is simply spectacular and the barn reception space is breathtaking!! They have done a beautiful job of keeping it rustic and simple while creating a comfortable and formal feel. The bride/groom rooms, the restrooms, the main space, and of course the property leaves nothing to be desired and was admired by all of our guests all weekend long and for the weeks to come.

All of the staff at Pine River Ranch are warm, friendly, and relaxed. This set an immediate tone as I was discussing with them the details for the rehearsal dinner, the ceremony, and the reception. They are professionals and know what needs to happen and when. I was confident after having described my wishes that they were going to make sure it worked out and indeed they did!! I was able to relax, focus on the more important things (like marrying the man I love), and celebrate the time with family and friends.

We stayed three nights (our families stayed two) at the B&B and we all felt well pampered yet comfortably cozy. The rooms are great and have lots of special touches that only a family run business can offer. The breakfasts were huge and delicious and they set up a group breakfast for us in the main house the morning after the wedding so we could eat together with our families. Which was the perfect closure for our wedding weekend.

My dream wedding on a farm came to fruition and exceeded every expectation. Pine River Ranch is a beautiful place, run by caring people, and it will always now hold a very special place in my heart.

My 5 star review is an honest review! I cannot say enough great things about Pine River Ranch. The host, Tim, is absolutely amazing! He made sure every little detail was thought out to make it the perfect day. The photo opportunites here are great there are so many locations and different backgrounds to get shots at and the barn is gorgeous! The fairy lights hung from the ceiling make the reception a magical site! This is the greatest wedding venue there is!

The Pine River Ranch is one of the most amazing places I've been too. It has such gorgeous scenery and the staff is just amazing. We had our recent 7/11/09 wedding here and I can tell you that it was the best weekend of our lives. We reserved the entire B&B from Friday through Sunday, which is such a great package if you can afford it, and Tim made sure that everything went perfect. Our photographer was just amazed with how many unique places there were to capture our special day. I will always recommend them to anyone I know. My husband and I are looking forward to spending our anniversaries with them for years to come. And Tim, I loved the breakfast casserole in the am when I woke up on the wedding am to get dressed, that was exactly the pick me up I needed :~)

Ryan and I loved working with the folks at Pine River Ranch! They were so helpful with working with us on everything. We stayed at the B&B a bout a year prior and fell in love with the place! They hadn't started having weddings there yet but we could tell it would was fantasy in the making. We came back for our wedding in June and it was more than we could have asked for. They were so helpful and had everything that I could have ever needed. It made my life so much easier when planning. I am recommending this bed and breakfast to everyone for anything from a weekend out or a wedding venue. I can't say enough enough, thank you so much! You guys are AWESOME!

The Pine River Ranch was the perfect wedding venue. The staff was friendly and attentive, and everything went smoothly.

Having the beautiful outdoor garden ceremony, with oak arbors framing the snowcapped Cascade Mountains, was a fairytale backdrop.

The indoor 1944 dairy barn reception, with its classic/rustic ranch exterior and beautifully refinished interior, was breathtaking.

With 22 acres at our disposal, there were plenty of opportunities for beautiful photography, and our guests had ample space to wonder the grounds and explore.

The spa suites were romantic, private, and cozy, and the breakfasts were delicious.

It was so convenient to have everything at one location. The barn even has two beautiful bridal dressing suites, so there's plenty of space to get ready.

We looked at a number of locations, and it was a simple choice once we found the Pine River Ranch. Their package includes so many of the little things: tables, chairs, flatware, napkins etc... that it saves so much time and energy not having to coordinate all those details. They even include setup and breakdown, and were flexible and accommodating with all our special requests. And the price is unbeatable!

All of our guests are raving about the location. Its closeness to the charming town of Leavenworth ensured that the fun and beauty continued even after the festivities.

I'm the girl who always fantasized about my wedding day, so the bar was set pretty high. The Pine River Ranch exceeded all of my expectations and I wouldn't have changed a thing. Truly a dream come true!

And here's a tip to those lucky enough to book this venue; get your flowers from the Leavenworth Safeway. I got quotes from the local florists that were criminally expensive. I called Safeway on a whim and paid practically nothing for beautiful floral arrangements! The floral manager even went out of her way to find ribbons and glass marbles for the centerpieces that matched our wedding colors exactly. A total joy to work with, and it will literally save you thousands!

Pine River Ranch far exceeded my expectations. They worked so hard to make sure our wedding day was better than we could have imagined. Any bride would be lucky to work with Tim and Bunnie. Their hard work and dedication to their business is amazing. The ranch has a 1944 dairy barn that has been converted for receptions in the hay loft. There is an amazing outdoor area for the ceremony. Tim and Bunnie did an amazing job making sure that anything and everything we could need was taken care.

Pine River Ranch is a beautiful place, when i first found in i was in love! The old dairy barn makes the feel of a country wedding, that much better! the landscape and the views were spectacular! The people are amazing, they provided the table linens and dishes and glasses, and also recommended a bartender and can recommend other wonderful places! I would definately recommend this place for anyone, it is to die for!

This is one of my favorite venues in Washington! BEAUTIFUL area... we love photographing weddings at Pine River Ranch!

I photographed a gorgeous wedding at the Pine River Ranch in 2009 and it stands as one of my favorite venues to shoot in the NW.

There are so many picturesque backdrops and the owners are great! They keep the grounds in tip-top shape and they even made sure their white horse was sparkling.

Pine River Ranch is a lovely, rustic and earthy venue set amidst a stunning backdrop. Highly recommended for those who want a beautiful, outdoor wedding in a nearby "destination" location!

Pine River Ranch is a beautiful location to get married. They really take care of their couples and help out wheree needed. They bring in staff for set up and take down and are onsite to help with any questions or concerns. If you aree looking for a beautiful mountain back drop this is your venue... I highly recommend Pine River Ranch.

Pine River Ranch is a beautiful location for a country wedding. They have spared no expense retro-fitting their barn as a wedding venue and the grounds are a photographer's dream.
