Gina and Mike provided a superb job. They were truly professional and knew just about every perfect pose and direction. You can tell they have been doing this for years and their expertise shows it. They were attentive to what we wanted and they did a fabulous job altogether. We truly recommend them, they won't let you down.

A husband and wife team that were so great to work with, they were so nice and accomodating and really strived to get all of our wedding shots!

Hiring Gina and Mike was the best wedding decision we made. They had done two weddings for my husband's family already, and both times their photos came out beautifully. Our wedding was no exception. They really helped us to feel comfortable in front of the camera, and they are both so nice, it was easy to relax. They did such a great job of taking not just beautiful and creative portraits, but also all the little moments that truly capture the emotion of the day. I also liked that even though they followed us around all day, there were times I didn't even notice they were there until I went back and saw all the pictures they took. They really know how to get the right shot without interrupting the moment. I'm so in love with how our photos turned out, I can't recommend them highly enough!

We met with many photographers before finding Mike and Gina Goldman of Pix of Life. What we loved about Pix of Life was that they have the combination of all the things we loved separately about the others we "interviewed." First and foremost, they recognize that it is not about them. They are there to capture the beauty of the moments. They recognize and amazingly capture the emotion in the moments and not just the visual effects. Yes - things are beautiful on a wedding day, but what about how you are feeling, what you are doing, what times are important... They capture those better than anyone I have seen. My husband and I are not super comfortable in front of the camera and they made us feel great - they were not too directive so that we could relax and be ourselves but brought in some great ideas as far as where to shoot and what poses angles they liked. Our guests and families were happy with them as well and that was important to us. Too many photographers are too pushy, loud, in the way, or almost demanding. Mike and Gina were none of that. Thanks so much!!! Oh, and the images came out beautifully:-) We LOVE the books!

My fiancé and I searched for about six months looking for the perfect photographers and when we found Gina and Mike we knew they were it! They truly captured our wedding day, from beginning to end. If was nice to see images of things we were able to see during our wedding day (decorations, guests, individuals dancing, etc). They were always prompt and posted our images right away! They did a fantastic job on our wedding day. We trusted their style and expertise and our pictures turned out amazing!! We have received so many compliments on our pictures!! I can only say great things about Gina and Mike. They are wonderful people and were great to work with. They were really welcoming and reassuring at our first meeting, super accommodating and excited about our engagement shoot and got us our pictures asap so we could use them for out STDs. Then they were really excited about shooting in Tahoe. They helped us with our timeline, they helped us figure out a day after location and convinced us to get up super early for our next day shoot. Everything was well worth it. They were practically invisible during our wedding. I don't even remember seeing them but they got so many candid shots during the reception. People mentioned to me how they saw Mike and Gina working super hard and I didn't even notice. But I did see the awesome shots after. They were also wonderful about getting us a few shots really really quickly so we could use them for our thank you cards.

They were really creative during our day after shoot. I loved their sense of adventure in trying new things even though we had no idea how they would turn out. I just loved everything that came out of our relationship with Pix of Life and highly recommend them.

I can't say enough about how great Mike and Gina are! Not only were ALL of our photos absolutely amazing, they were both such a pleasure to work with. We had an engagement session and then they also shot the ENTIRE day of our wedding too. I would refer them to anyone who is looking for beautiful wedding photos. They honestly made our day and my memories more then I ever thought they could be!!!

Gina and Mike are THE BEST photographers ever! I can't express how happy we were to have found these two great people. They were both so calming and down to earth, which is what I needed during the most stressful time of my life. They made things so easy for us and were always attentive and consistantly gave us individualized care. They may be busy but they are always thinking about their clients and how to best work with you. Here are some examples that explain why they are so awesome:

- Each and every time I would send Gina a frantic email, she always had this amazing calming effect. I could feel my anxiety lifting as I would read her replies back to me. Not to mention, always so professional in her responses.

- They were understanding and flexible with my husband's crazy work schedule and the crazy weather when we were planning for the engagement photo sessions.

- They sent slideshows for our engagement shots and wedding in a very timely manner and supplied several images.

- When they found out that my mom and grandma did not have a computer, they burned a DVD of the wedding slideshow for them to view. My family was so appreciative as well as me.

So to recap, great people combined with great photoghraphy makes for a happy bride. We will look back at our photos for many years to come and will re-live our special day, which was captured beautifully by Gina and Mike.

Mike and Gina were the best photographers we could have ever hired! They made us feel comfortable from the first time we met them. On the day of our wedding, they were on it! They had cameras going and both of them didn't stop for 8 hours. When we got our preview of our picuters they brought tears to my eyes. They capture our most memorable moments and highlights in such a beautiful and artist way. Gina and Mike were great to work with! They were very accomodating with our needs and our photos came back looking professional and in a timely manner.

Gina and Mike were the first photographers we met and I found myself comparing all the other photographers we met with to them. After a few meetings I realized that they were the photographers I wanted to hire. It was their second year in the business and their prices were right within our budget. Compared to other photographers we met with, we felt that we got more for the price and their quality of pictures were better. We took our engagement pictures December 2007 and had to reschedule 3x because of bad weather. Gina and Mike were kind and flexible enough to reschedule and finally meet with us on a day that worked out for everyone. We recevied our CD of pictures in the time promised and we were extremely pleased with the results. Prior to the wedding, they sent us a survey about the types of pictures we wanted, suggested timeles and with whom we wanted to take pictures. The survey was extremely useful in helping us figure out our timeline for the day so it was very much appreciated. The day of the wedding, they showed up on time and even ended up staying a bit late to help take some pictures with family that we had not had time to do earlier. We got our pictures in the timeline promised and once again Gina and Mike did a great job. We've received a lot of compliments about the pictures. They were one of our favorite vendors and come highly recommended.

Gina & Mike shot our wedding on 10/13/07 and posted a great slideshow for us less than 2 weeks later! Even though they are relatively new to wedding photography, you would never guess it by looking at the quality of their photographs. I absolutely love the pictures that I've seen so far and would highly recommend them to any couple getting married. They were so professional and fun to work with and had great ideas for shots. I am so glad we found Gina & Mike!

Gina and Mike did our engagement pictures on the USC campus. Gina was great at responding to emails and her and Mike were very nice on they day of. They showed up on time and really seemed to be excited about the different shots they were finding. They're both very easy-going people.

We spent about 3.5 hours shooting (they were doing this for us for free since they were just starting out their business). They had a slideshow of pictures about 25 pictures up by the next week and sent me a CD of the images that they had edited about 2 weeks after that.

Unfortunately, I never got more than those 25 or 30 pictures. And most of those pictures are nice but there are only a few really nice ones. A lot of the images were far away or shot from the side etc. so you couldn't really see our faces. I asked Gina about the other pictures (some of which I was really excited about) and she said that they hadn't come out well. When I asked her to send them anyway, she said that she had deleted them already.

I really don't know how normal engagement photo shoots go but 25-30 pictures, not all of which are great, seemed like very few to me.

However, Gina did seem to have a very creative eye and I do love a few of the pictures. I appreciate them doing the shoot for free and I encourage anyone to check out their website.

Follow up clarifications:

1) I meant to type 2.5 hours and did not realize that I had typed 3.5 hours and I apologize. We began shooting shortly after 3pm and I didn't leave them until about 5:30 pm. This is what I remember. Gina says that we actually started shooting about 3:30 and stopped at about 5:15 and she may be right. I don't recall the exact times.

2) 25-30 was an estimate, it may have been slightly more.

3) A few of the "up-close" shots are blurry in some way. One of my favorites has my Fiance in clear focus but I am out of focus.

This was only meant to be a fair review of this vendor and I do not intend to encourage anyone to not go with these photographers. They are new at this and you can tell from their website that they are getting better each time. There were some pictures I was very happy with and I sincerely encourage anyone to look at their website.

My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Mike and Gina Goldman who shot our engagement in May and our wedding this year on September 6th at La Venta Inn in Palos Verdes. Our wedding photographs are absolutely breathtaking and more than we could have ever imagined!!! Mike and Gina captured every moment of our wedding day beautifully without being obtrusive. Gina and Mike shot our wedding September 1, 2007. My husband is very very very particular when it comes to art, photography, money sense, practicality and individualism (is that a word?). We spent about 2 months looking for photographers that had the style that we both had in mind. He did not like any. If he did like them they were way out of our pricerange of $1000 to $2000. Finally, my husband found Gina and Mike. He emailed me enthusiasticly all of the info and we booked them immediately. At first we thought it was a joke that they were so affordable. No one in SoCal had the perfect price with the perfect style, except for them. We were thrilled when we found out it was not a dream. They are that affordable and they are THAT GOOD. Emailing with Gina and Mike was always a pleasure and they were always extrememly flexible when it came to us rescheduling engagement sessions and meeting at the site of our wedding ahead of time to get ideas. It has been two months since the wedding and by far the best part of the entire event are the pictures! We cannot believe the shots they managed to capture. My husband and I were totally and utterly stressed the entire day and had minimal time to enjoy ourselves. So it was amazing to see us laughing in pictures and people dancing and partying and the reception looking like a profesional had control of the entire event. Our photographers were one of the best parts of our entire wedding experience. On our very tight budget, we wanted great pictures and Pix of Life was able to give us that and more. they were both very flexible and had the vision that my husband and I were looking for. Like most brides, I was stressed out about picking a wedding photographer. I wanted great photos but I didn't want to pay half my wedding budget to get them. The web and bridal magazines for Southern California have tons of BAD photographers for cheap, and tons of really good photographers at really high prices (one site I saw charged up to $30,000!!!).

I saw their photos for the first time after they shot the wedding of my best friend's sister. They are AMAZING!! My first thought was that I wouldn't be able to afford them...their work was too good. But their prices are more than reasonable. After meeting them, I hired them on the spot.

I couldn't be more pleased with my wedding photographs. I feel like I hired one of those $30,000 photographers!! My wedding album is artistic, glamorous and beautiful. Pix of Life made my wedding!! I am so grateful to them.

My FI and I got our pics taken by pixoflife.com early March, the "Engagement Package" on their website. I could NOT be more pleased! They were very professional, patient, and tons of fun to work with. I have dozens and dozens of awesome photographs and memories to last a lifetime! Mike and Gina recently photographed our wedding at the beach and did a beautiful job! Their website initially caught my attention due to their photojournalistic approach and creativity, and we are so happy that same style came through in our wedding pictures as they captured the story of our day. They delivered more than we expected for such a reasonable price, posted a photo gallery and slideshow within a few days so we could preview the pictures, and got us our proof package very quickly. Gina is a dream to work with (thoughtful, attentive, very responsive). We HIGHLY RECOMMEND their services!

We had our engagement session with Mike & Gina from www.pixoflife.com the day after Thanksgiving and not only were our photos a bargain, but we absolutely loved them! They were really colorful and creative and Mike & Gina did a great job making us comfortable, we felt like supermodels! They were also very professional and had our photos processed in less than a week. I think the pictures of us and all the others on their website speak for themselves.

My fiance and I recently had e-pics done by Gina and Mike from Pixoflife. They are relatively new to the wedding photography business so they are trying to build their portfolio and they were able to offer us a ridiculously great deal for our e-pics. We weren't sure what to expect but we loved working with them. They were so easy to work with and Gina is the sweetest person. We thought we would be uncomfortable in front of the camera but they made us feel so good with them that most of the time we really didn't even realize we were being photographed.

They were able to send us a sneak peak of the shoot a couple days later and had the complete package shipped to us within 2 weeks. We loved their style and the colors came out so great.

They no longer offer that special pricing but their prices are still unbelievably reasonable for the quality that you receive. I know they have several weddings booked for this year so their experience and portfolio will only get better from here.

We loved working with them and we highly recommend them to anyone. :D

I just wanted to say that Mike & Gina are SUPER GREAT photographers! We recently had our wedding photogrphed by them (May 26) and our pictures came out Perfect! They did such a GREAT job of capturing the candid & posed shots! Everyone LOVES our photos and wished their wedding pictures came out half as good as mines =)

I agree with all the positive reviews previously posted by other brides. From the first time I contacted Gina, she was very attentive and promptly responded to all my e-mails and phone calls.

Gina and Mike took our wedding pictures (June 22) and we are extremely happy with the way they turned out; a blend of candid and posed photos which perfectly captured our wedding day. Less than two weeks after the wedding, they posted a slide show to share with our friends and family and soon after we received a CD with all the proofs. We also ordered a flush mounted album beautifully designed by Gina.

We booked Pix of Life right when they were starting up in their business. They have good ideas and a great eye for photography, the best decision of our lives.
They photographered our engagement & wedding day and they took really great pictures. They were fun to work with and they were really professional. Your work is incredible. The best I have ever seen, not because you are photographing our daughter, but more because you are truly unique. In both the engagement and wedding pictures you captured exceptional settings and moments that will last a lifetime. You were literally behind the scenes at the wedding that our guests didn’t even know you were there. That says something for your professionalism and expertise in what you do. Also sending Aarika and Riley a small album to tie them over until their wedding album is complete and thanking them for their business took us all by surprise.
