Rachel was worth every single penny plus more!!!!!! When my husband and I met with her before choosing her as our photographer I was already impressed with her work and professionalism. She offered a military discount for us which helped so much and made it possible for us to get everything we wanted. When our big day came along she drove over 100 miles to take our photos and was a half hour early! She made our photographs fun and exciting for everyone in our wedding and had a schedule for every photo to be done on time in order to have our wedding start on time. We did first look pictures which at first I wasn't sure I wanted, however Rachel emailed me an article of testimonials from couples who did them and it convinced me to do it as well. When we finally got to see the photos of our first look I cried reliving that intimate moment with my husband that only him and I got to share together. Rachel never missed a beat!!! She took photos in the freezing cold and stayed outside with us for over an hour if not more for the photos she took with all my accessories and things. Rachel was a true blessing to our wedding! People told me before my wedding to maybe rethink spending a lot of money on my photos however after Rachel left that night those same people came up to me and told me how happy they were that I didn't listen to them because they were SO Impressed by her! We got to see a preview of our photos the very next day after the wedding and that just put the cherry on top for our experience with Rachel! All around Rachel was the best choice I made for our most important day (other then choosing the right man of course :) ) and I can't wait to see the rest of our photos when we get home from our honeymoon!! Thank you again Rachel for being so fantastic and making our day so fun and giving us amazing photos to remember it all!!!! I pray The Lord blesses your business and you continue to grow over the years in his Glory

Rachel did an absolutely fantastic job on my photos! I am so happy with the images, the only problem will be choosing which ones to display! She was prompt in all of her replies and was very professional. Overall she was a great value and worth every penny! I highly recommend Rachel for your wedding photography!

Pixy prints made our wedding pictures look fantastic and we will enjoy looking at them and showing them off forever. The price was amazing and we had the photo booth which was a huge hit. We will using Pixy prints for all our photo needs. They did our engagement photos also and they turned out amazing. The work is quality and you don't get charge a ridiculous amount for the rights to your photos. I suggest Pixy prints to everyone!

Rachel was amazing. She was more than willing to work with us on payment arrangements. Her photos are simply amazing. I am a guy who always thinks i look horrible in pictures and Rachels pictures are just simply wonderful. We will recommend her to anyone and everyone in need of a photographer

I hired Pixy Prints for my engagement, wedding, and family pictures! I love her work, she is very talented and is great to work with. This photographer shines in her element, the outdoors. Even if you get married in the winter, find time and a place to take some outdoor shots. You wont regret it!

Also, I would rate her all 5 out of 5 for engagement pictures. We had such a fun day and have some of the greatest engagement pictures I've ever seen.

It was so refreshing to work with someone with extended knowledge and experience, high caliber of professionalism and great passion for her work. Not only were my engagement and wedding photos edited well, but returned in a timely fashion. Rachel has great work ethic and a wonderful attitude. She made sure all of my special moments were captured and I had fun while we were shooting. And I look forward to her shooting my maternity and newborn photos!

By far some of the best people I have ever worked with. Pixy Prints brought two photographers for almost 8 hours. They were able to to catch every part of the wedding. I can't say enough about the value of their work. I would use them again anytime I needed a photographer.

Pressed for time and lacking funds, I didn't pick the venue for my wedding for its looks. But Rachael still managed to find some areas where we could take some awesome photos of the wedding party and family after the wedding. It was great meeting with her beforehand to go over the kinds of photos I wanted to get, and discussing how the day would go. She was great when it came to accomodating some of the "eccentricities" I had, and she came up with some cute photos I would never have thought to take.

I've been VERY happy with how the photos turned out, and have also expecially liked the professionally bound photo book she had printed for me. As a graphic designer myself, I was very impressed with her designs and layouts of the pages, and have loved having it as a keepsake of my most special day.

I only wish I'd had more time and a better location to play with - it's amazing what she can do with a camera!

Hi, my name is Rachel and I started my photography business in 2007. I quickly learned that my favorite thing to photograph was...weddings! Being a wedding photographer is the most rewarding job EVER for me.

I love capturing images for my brides and creating their coffee table books (every package includes a book). I try to remeber what it was like when I got married and how important the smallest details were to me. So much thought and planning goes into one day for a bride and it is my job to make sure every last detail gets remebered!

I have over 5 years of experience shooting weddings and it is a passion for me, I get so excited the night before a wedding that I can hardly sleep! I view a wedding album to be like a storybook, without words. Anyone that looks through your wedding photos should be able to feel like they were actually at your wedding and could hear what was said through the expressions and personalization of each photograph.

Often I book weddings a year in advance and bookings are limited, so please contact me to find out if your wedding date is open.

What primary photographic style do you identify with?

Contemporary, Photojournalism, Portraiture

What do your packages include?

Albums, Digital Files, High Resolution Images, Prints, Proof CD of All Images

Do you have liability insurance?

Yes

Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning?

Yes, I always include at couple pictures with a little extra editing on them.

Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?

I have equipment and experience that allows me to shoot in the outdoors using natural light, but also indoors in low-light situations.

Is your media preference film or digital?

Digital. I started on film when I was a kid and was hesitant to switch over to digital...but now I don't' think I could ever go back!

How many photographers do you work with?

I offer packages that have two photographers. Myself and my assistant photographer. If you choose a package that does not include a second photographer, you can always add one for a very reasonable fee.

Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?

Yes!!!! But, in the very unlikely event that I am injured, become too ill to photograph (I would need to be on my death bed) the event, or cannot perform due to fire, casualty, nature, terror, or other cause beyond my control, I will make every effort to secure a replacement photographer.

Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?

Typically the answer is no, but, I have on occasion shot a wedding on a Saturday and on the next day on a Sunday as long as traveling is not involved. Never would I book two events in one day though.

Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?

Yes

What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?

Canon 5D mark ii, Canon 7D, several L series lenses, flash and LOTS of batteries and memory :)

Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?

Yes

Do you charge hourly or full day?

I have packages that are 6, 8 and 10 hours. Extra hours can always be added to those packages. I like to have a specific start and end time rather than say I will shoot for the whole day. That way there is no opening for confusion the day of the wedding :) I ALWAYS make sure the bride is ready for me to leave before taking off from a wedding though.

Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?

What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?

I always pack meal bars with me! Can't have low blood sugar at a wedding :) If the bride is ok with it I will usually take a 5-10 min break during a low time in the reception and eat the food provided at the reception, only if my bride is ok with me eating the meal...otherwise I will eat food I brought.

Do you charge for travel?

Yes, please contact me for more details.

How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?

Your proofs will be shown online 6-10 weeks after the wedding, with a "sneak peak" viewing showcasing approx. 9 images on our blog and/or our Facebook page within 7 days of your wedding. 

In what format are the initial proofs offered?

Through online viewing on a password secured website

How long can the client keep the proofs?

All my brides get to keep there digital full resolution files. The online viewing is available for 3 months after it's posted

Do you retain the copyright for the photos?

All my brides get to keep there digital full resolution files.

Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?

If the bride consents, a copyright agreement will be signed allowing me to use pictures from the wedding to add to my portfolio and for my advertizing purposes...but nothing more.

Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?

All my brides get to keep there digital full resolution files.

Will images be available for viewing online?

Yes, through a password secured website

What kind of albums do you offer?

All my packages include a 10x10 coffee table hard bound book.

When will the client get the final album?

Typically the book will be ordered 6-10 weeks after the wedding, but I don't order the books until I get the final ok from my brides so in some cases it may take longer if the bride would like changes made.
