Rich and Ashely are very talented in the field of photography (photojournalism). They have proven their skills with such amazing shots. I would recommend them to anyone that is looking for a "new age", refreshing, and creative collection of photos for their wedding day! Perfect!

Working with Rich and Ashley was easy from the start. The initial meeting was comfortable and they are just so nice and friendly! Their galleries of pictures could sell themselves, but the price in their packages doesn't hurt either - definitely a good deal! They also did not ever pressure us to get a bigger photo package or to buy more prints or albums so the pricing was very comfortable for our budget. My husband and I do not consider ourselves very photogenic so we scheduled our engagement session a bit close to the wedding so we could get some practice closer to the big day. They were so accommodating to picking a day and time, and it was nice to get in front of the camera to get comfortable with their style. As awkward as we felt they made us feel like a million bucks! We got our proofs back so quickly too.On our wedding day we were feeling a bit behind schedule, but Rich & Ashley helped us still get in all the pre-ceremony shots we wanted without ever making us feel rushed. Several guests commented on how nice the photographers were, and that they blended in more like guests and were not the least bit invasive to the ceremony or reception. We enjoyed the wedding so much and within a couple of weeks (just as Rich and Ashley had estimated) we had our first batch of pictures. Just after that we had our proofs and could re-live all the fun memories. The pictures came out great and we really have a wide variety that truly captured all aspects of our big day. Needless to say we would highly recommend Rich and Ashley to any couples out there looking to get some great pictures for a great price and work with two fun people along the way!

The Pizzuti Studios team was very professional, responsive, attentive and empathetic, among other key ingredients you would look for from a "professional service provider". They are no nonsense, while keeping photo shoots fun, interactive and interesting. I chose to work with Pizzuti Studios for "headshots" (for professional purposes) and for my wedding. Rich and Ashely each have their own unique style which creates a "feast for your eyes final product". Especially for the wedding photos, they captured some great "secret" photos of moments and images that stir up wonderful emotions and memories...We would certainly work with Pizzuti Studios again, and recommend them for any occasion!

Rich and Ash were absolutely fantastic. I don't remember them even being there, outside of the formal photos, yet they managed to capture the most special moments of our day in simply gorgeous photos. They were great all through the planning process, responding promptly to any and all questions and requests. They also delivered our proofs within a week and our final dvds within 30 days - incredible turnaround for their industry and for the sheer volume of images they take. we cannot recommend them highly enough and would gladly share our photos to anyone looking for more samples of their work.

Rich and Ashley were very professional but also incredibly laid back, which we really appreciated during the stressful time of wedding planning. As people who don't particularly love getting our photos taken, they made us feel completely comfortable. And all of our friends and family have raved about the great quality of the photos they took. Pizzuti Studios is comprised of couple Rich and Ash, two trained photojournalists who are attentive to details. My husband and I enjoyed working with them during the three sessions - engagement, wedding, and rock the dress - and we are not fond of having our picture taken. They made the experience enjoyable with their fun sense of humor, easy conversation, and creativity; they were always punctual and never wasted our time. Rick and Ash asked our opinions about location preference and specific shots we wanted, pairing with their own standard shots and ideas invoked by the environment. Each takes pictures in his or her own way while the other helps set up shots; it was a nice balance. During out wedding, they blended right in with our guests, were polite and professional, and hardly stopped for the 8 hours they were with us. We appreciated that they backed up our photos in three different locations, one of which is off-site, and their website is easy to navigate and full of information necessary to choose photos and albums. They were an invaluable part of our wedding experience!

I planned my wedding from Colorado, and had the ceremony in Gloucester MA, Ash & Rich were able to come meet me when I was in the area as well as helped with the planning etc. via email and phone contact. There was never a time that I felt stressed or worried about how my photography would come out, I always felt comfortable and knew that I could reach Ash or Rich at any time I needed.As for the event day, both Ash & Rich were so wonderful to work with. When I began planning our November wedding, I knew that photography was going to be one of the most important elements to me. Friends of mine had recently married and their pictures were absolutely stunning – but their photographer was a family member who had done the job at a discounted rate and her starting package was thousands above what I wanted to spend. Still, I needed to have wonderful photographs and set out to find the right people for the job.

After being introduced to Rich and Ashley at the Original Wedding Expo in January 2008, I knew they were the perfect fit. Everything about them spoke to what I wanted: their background in photojournalism, the style and variety of their products and of course, the quality of their photographs. I was also impressed by their personalities. They were approachable and didn’t try to oversell themselves (if you’ve ever been to a wedding expo, you know how annoying that can be). It was obvious to me that Rich and Ashley were passionate about what they do without being overbearing or stuffy. They seemed like people I would enjoy working with… and I was RIGHT!

Saying that my husband and I enjoyed working with Ashley and Rich is a gross understatement. Not only are they fun people, they made it comfortable for us to be in front of cameras. Our engagement session took place at Fort Stark in New Castle, NH and it started to POUR about a half an hour into it. Because we had all traveled more than an hour to get there, I asked if they would mind waiting it out with us. I was afraid they’d be worried about their gear getting wet, but Rich ran to his car and enthusiastically produced a rainbow colored golf umbrella for us to take cover under. We told jokes to pass the time and the wait was well worth it. Our engagement portraits still, almost two years later, take my breath away. That day, Pizzuti Studios truly captured who we are as a couple… our poses are natural and our smiles are genuine… and we got a great shot under the rainbow umbrella!

To any bride out there reading this, I cannot emphasize how important it is to contract with vendors who do everything in their power to make the wedding planning experience as stress-free as possible. Rich and Ashley are exceptional at this. My phone calls were answered (or returned promptly), my e-mails replied to within a couple of hours and my questions were always answered thoroughly. Every time we had a meeting scheduled, Pizzuti Studios traveled to us and worked around our time constraints. The flexibility they demonstrate for their clients is second to none and the quality of their service is invaluable.

Fast forward to our wedding ceremony at Hammond Castle in Gloucester, MA… I had literally dreamed of having my wedding there since I was 7-years-old and Ashley was almost as excited about the location as I was! My vision was simple, natural elegance and Pizzuti Studios ROCKED IT! They captured every single moment I hoped they would and more. The candid pictures they took of the ceremony exceeded my expectations. They got everything from my train getting stuck in one of the chairs while my father walked me down the aisle (hilarious if you knew me), to my fiancées expression the moment he first saw me, to our laughter at the phrase I had inscribed in his ring. The most impressive part? Our ceremony was lit only by candlelight in a windowless room of a stone castle. How they managed to pull it off without making it feel like a movie set is still a mystery to me. I suppose they’re just that good….

The pictures of our reception at The Tavern on The Harbor in Gloucester are no less impressive. In stark contrast to our ceremony, my husband and I wanted the reception to be a P-A-R-T-Y, and it was! Rich and Ashley were everywhere but somehow managed to stay completely out of everyone’s way. Our guests were commenting on them even as they danced the night away! “Your photographers are all over the place! You’re going to have some wonderful pictures! They’re getting something of everything!” And it was true. I have never regretted not contracting with a videographer – not for one minute. The pictures Pizzuti Studios provided us are far more depictive of our experience than any wedding video I’ve ever seen.

In short (after over a page of commentary), if you choose to work with Pizzuti Studios, you WILL NOT be disappointed. I highly recommend them for any of your photography needs. From family portraits to weddings to maternity photos, the essence of your experience will be captured naturally and you will have fun doing it! On the day of our wedding, I really do not remember them being around me at all, but they still managed to get every memorable moment captured. I have received endless compliments from the guests at our wedding on Rich and Ashley, the way they made sure every guest who wanted a specific photograph taken was addressed, the way they moved with my husband and I unobtrusively, and their professionalism. They're so happy too! We were so happy with them.

We made the perfect choice when we decided to have Pizzuti Studios (Rich & Ashley) as our photgraphers. They came as a recommendation and they will be recommended many more times by us. My favorite part of what Ashley did for us girls was take the hair elastics off our wrists, its details that make the difference and this is something so small but would have been so annoying in our photos. They did a great job tweaking each person in the photos and capturing other photos when no one knew they were looking. Pizzuti Studios was our first and only choice and we can not wait to go back for kid pics!

We met with them, and were delighted with their personalities and no-pressure approach. It was apparent that they are photographers because they love to be photographers, and that they enjoy being a part of the happiest days of peoples lives. Looking at their images, and knowing about photography, I was amazed at their skill to capture the 'realness' of the day and their talent in taking photos that require very little editing... in fact, I had to ASK if they edit their photos.

Ashley and Rich were wonderful to work with. They were sensitive to our needs and worked with me throughout my whole planning process. They work in a stress-free way that was a refreshing break from the hustle and bustle of planning. They put in a lot of effort to make sure they knew our unusual venue: they went to the venue and learned about the area before the wedding so that they had great ideas and knew what environment they were working with. Our photographers listened to us and learned about the things that were important to us, and took pictures that proved it. They spent time to make sure that they had images of us with the important people we had mentioned, and worked to capture the uniqueness of of our wedding. They learned the names of the people involved in the wedding party and were quick to help with the little things that needed to be done last minute. Ashley photographed the girls getting ready, while Rich photographed the guys, and they fit right in. For me, Ashley turned into part of the wedding party. She helped me through a little panic attack, and helped adjust my dress. She was more than just someone taking pictures, she became a part of the process and the support that I needed.

My guests were very pleased with Pizzuti. I've heard nothing but positive feedback from our family and friends. The guests liked that the photographers took pictures on request, and some of the guests asked me to keep them on for extra time in order to take additional family portraits. Of course they were flexible and happily stayed until we had all of the guests requests taken care of. The guests found their website easy to navigate, and the images were up for viewing as soon as we got back from our honeymoon!

Pizzuti Studios provide twice as much filming power for your wedding celebration or family portrait as Rich and Ashley Pizzuti frequently work an event together. They have a wonderful way of incorporating color and background--and some really unique settings--that brings extra pizzaz to their very lovely photographs. Hmm, maybe they should change their name to Pizzuti Pizzaz Studios. They have very nice personalities, and are great fun to work with.
