We are so happy that we chose Planet DJ productions for our wedding!
We had two separate wedding events on the same day, and Ateet managed them both seamlessly. Ateet was a pleasure to work with from day one.
He was always very attentive, flexible, responsive and professional. He's really easy to work with and made us feel comfortable about everything. We had a mixed Indian and Jewish wedding, and both Ateet and Jordan were a great team during the reception. They knew exactly what to play and how to keep everyone on the dance floor until the last song. Ateet and Jordan emceed, and they were great, they kept the crowd engaged and having fun the whole time, while being very professional. They knew how to mix the Indian and American music, and keep everyone dancing.
Ateet also did the lighting for our ceremony and reception as well as the sound for our ceremonies. He did an excellent job with the lighting, and really enhanced the space for both our ceremony and reception. I would highly recommend Planet DJ Productions. They are professional, flexible, responsive, and do fantastic work! Thank you Ateet and Jordan for a wonderful wedding!

Sejal and I really enjoyed working with Ateet and Jordan pre and during the wedding. You have been extremely open, flexible, attentive and professional, and we never had to worry one second about any music related aspect of the event. That is priceless when organizing a wedding. We can\'t thank you enough for it.
As for Jordan, it was fantastic having him around the day of the wedding. From the Baraat to the end of the reception, he has been nothing but attentive, discrete, on top of everything. The van with the music during the procession was a blast, the music during the ceremony was well timed and in sync with the Brahman, and the reception music was simply incredible. Jordan is the DJ Everyone would like to have for their party: always present when needed, discrete the rest of the time, and expert to mix our playlist with some of his own music. A pleasure through and through.

Planet DJ was a wonderful addition to our fusion wedding! Ateet and Nate did a fantastic job blending both Italian and Indian music for the whole night - it was the perfect mix and exactly what we envisioned. We cannot imagine our celebration without Planet DJ. Thank you so much!

We used Planet DJ to provide music and lighting services at our wedding. Hopefully this review provides a good idea for other couples looking for a DJ for their wedding.

1. Selection:
Ours is an inter-cultural/international wedding, so we were looking for someone who could not only play top 40, but also play international music. When we first spoke with Ateet he spoke about playing at similar weddings before. It definitely helped that they were rated as the best DJ by knot.

2. Budget:
Financially, Planet DJ also made a lot of sense to us. We eventually ended up getting lighting services from Ateet as well.

3. Meetings/Interaction/Communication:
The wife and I live in a different city than the wedding venue and we were unable to meet Ateet in person until a couple of weeks before the wedding. This was never an issue since he was always easily reachable over phone or email. If he were unavailable over phone, he would let us know and have us contact him over email.

4. The day of:
Our guests and us had a ball at the wedding. We gave Ateet a list of songs to play at the wedding and in some instances the order of playlist. Ateet and Jordan did a great job in working the dance floor that night. I had never seen so many people dance for so long at a wedding. I could only give so much credit to alcohol and I definitely think that the music kept everyone dancing. They did a great job of playing the right songs at the right time; there was no slow moment at the wedding. Our contract for the venue and the DJ ended at 12 AM that night and they had to ask people to leave, as most folks wanted the party to continue.

The wife and I both highly recommend Ateet and Planet DJ. Despite all the things that keep one occupied, stressed out and busy on the wedding day, we had a wonderful time and loved the music.

Planet DJ Productions was outstanding, entertaining, and did it in a fun professional manner. Everyone at the wedding complimented us on our decisions on the food, the decorations, and especially our DJs. They threw a top notch party for us! Thank You AJ and Jordan for making our wedding day even more special.

Our wedding reception went off without a hitch and turned into the non-stop party we were hoping for all thanks to DJ Ateet and DJ Jordan. DJ Ateet carefully made sure that our diverse music requests were reflected in the playlist and all our guests left the wedding wanting to keep dancing. Ateet and Jordan were able to seamlessly move between Arabic, Dabkeh (traditional Palestinian dance), Haitian Kompa, Latin, and contemporary R'n'B and Hip Hop music - no small feat. It was truly a pleasure working with Planet DJ Productions and we highly recommend them, especially for multi-cultural weddings like ours.

We received excellent service from Planet DJ for our wedding DJ. Our DJ, Jordan, was very professional. He was dressed professionally, had a great voice on the mic, and was very responsive to what we wanted played at our wedding. Our guests were on the dance floor all night! We could not have asked for a more professional and fun DJ for our wedding.

The best decision I made after saying yes to my husband was hiring Planet DJ productions. Not only were they extremely professional but they became family during the wedding weekend. They asked my husband and I if there was anything I needed not just related to their services but if I wanted a drink. They cared for us the way your favorite uncle or your closest cousin does. I can not express in words my gratitude to them for making my wedding one of the most memorable experiences of my life. Ateet and Jordan have a combination that you rarely see. They were professionals through and through but went the extra mile that only family does. The lighting was phenomenol and I got compliments from every single guest. Their music selection had both indians and swedes up and dancing the entire time. They mixed the music in a way that complimented everyone's taste. You just can not ask for better. We had a great time. Jordan was amazing. Everyone is STILL saying how awesome it was and for some it was the best wedding they have been too. I would definitely recommend Planet DJ Productions to all of my friends for any event they are having. You guys went above and beyone the duty of just being DJs. Planet DJ was the best vendor at our wedding. They were extremely responsive, organized, friendly, and experienced. We had a fused Indian/American wedding and were not sure how we were going to blend the music. DJ Jordan did an amazing job. The dance floor was packed the entire night. I, the bride, who am not typically much of a dancer, could not resist being on the dance floor for most of the night. We will be recommending them to our friends and family and if we have future social gatherings that call for a DJ we will hands-down be calling Planet DJ again for their services.

I am so happy that I went with Planet DJ Productions! I wish there were more stars I could give them. I had used Ateet and his crew for a graduation party several years ago, where they did an amazing job. When time came for my wedding, they were the first group I called. Compared to other equivalent groups, their prices could not be touched! Ajit and Jordan ended up DJing my wedding and they did a wonderful job. They took the time to find out exactly what I wanted, and made sure they were prepared for the event. When the reception time came, they had everything setup and never missed a beat. We ended up getting their lighting package as well, and it was better than some clubs I’ve been to. Once the music started the dance floor never emptied. Hiring a DJ was probably one of the hardest parts of my wedding planning process. I knew how important hiring a good DJ meant for the quality of my reception, so I didn't want to take the task lightly. After asking around for recommendations, I hired Planet DJ Productions for my wedding reception on August 21, 2010.

I have nothing but good things to say about the company. They were extremely responsive to my emails, always available for my numerous questions, and great to work with. They did a phenomenal job at my reception and kept the dance floor packed all night. The music was amazing and our friends/family had a great time!

I just want to genuinely tell you how much we appreciated your hard work through out the planning process and of course on the day of the wedding itself.

You guys did a phenomenal job doing everything on time, with the music selections, and getting the crowd pumped up throughout the night. Ultimately, I think the stretching bit we did for those extra 30 sec created greater excitement and anticipation for the crowd!

I really think the music is what makes a wedding fun and enjoyable and you guys definitiely achieved and exceeded what I imagined. I had been worried whether people would be dancing throughout the evening from both sides of guests, and so many of our guests told me this was the best wedding they had ever been to!

Ateet (of Planet DJ Productions) was fantastic! From Day 1, he was clear and thorough in the description of his services, and he guided us to an appropriate and "custom made" package based on our needs. He was also extremely patient in dealing with my father, who was footing the bill. And he was flexible in contract negotiation and negotiation of his own time: when I asked him to do both of our wedding events, he immediately cleared his schedule so that we would be his top priority.

Ateet was always ready to meet with us to discuss and rediscuss anything: lighting, hours of music, first dance songs, etc. He also was very responsive by email before, during, and even after the wedding, and continues to be a resource in the post-production of our wedding video.

We had a multi-day wedding, and Ateet was a pleasure to work with on both days. He accurately read and responded to the crowd, and kept people on the dance floor the whole night... we had to ask him to stay an extra hour because everyone was having so much fun and didn't want the party to end! And every song request (and even the last minute changes with the father daughter song) was honored without the blink of an eye... or a pause in the music!

Ateet and Planet DJ Productions were an amazing team during our weekend wedding events. All of our friends were impressed by them, and at least one couple amongst them has hired Planet DJ Productions for their own wedding. That's the ultimate compliment!

Planet DJ Productions provided me with DJ, lighting, generator rental, party favors, and a dhol player. It was my one stop for a bunch of services which was great! Their DJ's worked closely with me to develop a playlist that was perfect for each event (I worked with them for 4 of my events). They were always quick to respond to my emails and are very organized. I HIGHLY recommend them to everyone.

Ateet did a an extraordinary job with making our wedding day utterly amazing. He coordinated and provided the videography, photography, dj, lighting, and the entertainment. He really kept the party alive. Our family and friends were very impressed. Even months later, people are still telling us that it was the best wedding that they have ever been to. He made everything happen just right. He handled the ever-changing requests with perfection. He did a great job coordinating both of our indian and american cultures of music and traditions. Ateet – Thank you so much for helping to make our wedding in Tampa amazing! From the announcements to the dancing throughout the night in the reception. Ateet was great to work with. We learned of Planet DJ Productions from a friend who used Ateet for his wedding. Their music catalog is extensive. If there was a song they did not have they will find it without a problem. They do a fabulous job of seamlessly incorporating many different styles of music into your reception. Planet DJ also provided the sound setup for our outdoor ceremony. Everything was setup nicely and worked well. We did not have a single incident of that annoying microphone feedback. Everything was great and we would definitely use them for future events.

We had music for the wedding and the reception. Originally we were going to need 2 set ups. Then it started sprinkling. The set up inside. Then it cleared up and the wedding could be outside...THey made arrangements. They were very accommodating.

When it came time for the reception, they were great! I didnt have the time to wrrte our the songs I wanted, gave them and idea of the music I liked and they did his thing! Theydid a wonderful job keeping everyone on the dance floor!

The DJ played the wrong first dance song; disregarded specific dance requests from the bride and groom; and was rude to at least one guest. I was very disappointed with the evening...this DJ cost way too much to have such a poor quality of service. My husband and I will not be recommending them to anyone.

Wow, do these guys know how to run a party! I love working with Planet DJ Productions because I know that the guests are going to have an amazing time dancing the night away. Not only is their equipment and flexibility in music style top notch, but they are also great on the microphone as MC's! Highly recommend to anyone who wants to have a great time!
