Like most, I thought... how hard is it to plan a wedding... and after much arm twisting I still wasn't fully convinced. However in retrospect acquiring a planner, in particular Kerrie, was the best decision we made.On the run up Kerrie's clear passion simply ignited our excitement for our big day. She was a constant driving force whose fantastic vendor knowledge and experience converted our unique dreams into a reality. You would not believe what Kerrie can do to an empty field ontop of a mountain!Then came the big day... many many people have asked what were the hiccups and was it stressful but with Kerrie's attention to detail, thoroughness and detailed direction ensured that the day was relaxed and simply perfect. The most advice we got from friends and family was to try and carve out time for spend with one another however the wedding was so flawlessly planned we got to spend so much quality time with not only each other but with our guests also.Kerrie makes a beautiful moment divine and the mrs and I couldn't have wished for a more perfect person to guide us through the most memorable day of our lives. I hired Kerrie to provide month of wedding coordination and she went above and beyond my expectations. She is well worth the money and saved us a lot of headaches and time. I planned my wedding in california from out of state and Kerrie coordinated all my vendor meetings efficiently into 1 day so that I could fly in for a weekend and meet all of the vendors. She referred me to great vendors and also allowed us to secure discounts with those vendors.Kerrie's organization is superb as I found that she would always remember all of the details we had discussed and accurate with the terms of our vendor contracts.The week of my wedding, my event coordinator at my venue went on leave for jury duty without informing us. While I was stressing out, Kerrie stayed calm and told me that with her on the team, the wedding will be a success. She reached out to multiple contacts at our venue and made sure that our wedding would proceed without a hitch. On the day of the wedding, I knew that I could depend on Kerrie and just enjoy my day and that's what I did. She even gave my husband and I a few moments in a hectic day to enjoy the sunset together alone! I could not say enough to Kerrie's skills as a wedding coordinator. She is not only organized, creative as well as efficient but she is such a genuine, warm person. She always made me feel like I had her full attention and that I was her only client. Kerrie is a great Wedding Planner.Prior to the wedding she helped us with all of our vendors. -Made sure flowers, colors, table linen was the way my wife pictured it. There were a few things off, and she gave us advice which worked out really well. -Made sure DJ's brought the right equipment for the venue... It also helped that Kerrie knew a lot vendors which made it easier for us to engage and work with. She will give honest opinions to which vendors will be best for certain circumstances. During the day of the wedding Kerrie made sure that everything was according to plan and on time. I cannot imagine our wedding run as smooth as it did without her.

I hired Kerrie within the first month of our engagement to provide month-of wedding coordination services. Hiring her was one of the best decisions we made in vendor selection, and I feel that we not only invested in her wedding coordination services but also a peace of mind knowing that she will make sure the wedding day is smooth and disaster free. Kerrie went above and beyond what was outlined in our contract. For example, she attended an in person meeting with our florist, which counted as our one vendor meeting in the contract, and she additionally participated in a second vendor meeting via telephone conference with our DJ/lighting vendor. Her participation was extremely helpful as she knew what kind of questions to ask and also insisted on the most appropriate equipment based on our contract. This exceeded my expectations and it made me feel that she really cared for the success of our wedding.Kerrie has a lot of expertise in the wedding industry. Being able to contact her throughout the wedding process was so helpful because she offered a lot of suggestions. She knew all the questions that were important to ask vendors, and she always can recommend vendors to you. Another benefit of having Kerrie as your planner is that she passes discounts to her clients. For example, our linen rental and transportation rental were discounted because she was our coordinator. On the day of the wedding, she brought with her two assistances (Amy and Vanessa). My short interaction with them was positive. They were sweet, courteous, and professional.I highly recommend Kerrie and her team for your upcoming wedding plans. I couldn't have asked for a better professional to trust for this important day! Kerrie made wedding planning so much fun for me! The hubby and I wanted a perfect fairy tale wedding, and as the type of person whose pretty controlling, I thought planning a wedding would be so stressful! Our first decision was to choose a wedding coordinator who would be there for us without being pushy, and always willing to help. We met with Kerrie after reading rave reviews, and decided to go with her on the spot. Hands down, it was the best decision I have EVER made during my wedding planning! Kerrie was always there for me; if I had questions or concerns, she'd address it right away, and was always reachable through her cell and email. We brainstormed ideas together, and came up with some really unique concepts that made my wedding so memorable. Every vendor she recommended me was beyond fantastic; they were worth every penny and their work left my guests speechless!The month of the wedding Kerrie put together an extremely helpful timeline and spoke to all my vendors to make sure everything was ready to go. The big day finally arrived and although it flew by for my Hubby and I, she was there every step of the way (from helping me get ready all the way to the end of the night, making sure everything ran smoothly) and our cherry blossom themed wedding at the Ritz Carlton Laguna Niguel was breathtaking! A wedding is the most important day for you and your loved ones, and hiring a fantastic wedding planner is the most important step in wedding planning. We highly recommend Kerrie, she made the planning process for me a breeze, and put together the wedding of our dreams! Even though it's been three months since the big day, our guests STILL tell us it was the most beautiful wedding they've ever been to! Kerrie is a great wedding planner. She is extremely helpful, responsive, organized and has a lot of experience in the wedding industry. When I first got engaged, I hired Kerrie and was completely overwhelmed with the idea of planning a wedding in 9 months. I also had no idea what I wanted. Kerrie was really good at helping me find/express what I envisioned for my big day. My Mother was heavily involved in the wedding process and we both have polar opposite styles and Kerrie was able to appease both of our styles. My wedding was the best day of my life and I really thank Kerrie for helping my "dream wedding" come into fruition. Kerrie had great recommendations for the florist, hair and make-up, hotel, and DJ/lighting. Since I work over 50 hours a week, I didn't have the luxury of time and ability to meet with multiple wedding vendors. Every recommendation she had was fantastic. She came along with us to our vendor meetings and knew all the right questions to ask.If you're thinking of getting a wedding planner you should without a doubt consider Kerrie, even if you need a part time or full time wedding planner you will not be disappointed!

Before my wedding, I considered a wedding co-ordinator is seen as a luxury – someone you would only need if you are planning a big wedding or if you are too busy to do the wedding planning all on your own. I think one of the reasons why I overlooked the importance of having a wedding co-ordinator is that their efforts tend to be less tangible than the other vendors. With a photographer, the DJ, the florist and the officiant, you know what you are getting: pictures, music, flowers and someone to conduct your ceremony. What about a wedding co-ordinator? What can a wedding co-ordinator deliver that you can’t just find friends and family to do? Three reasons stood out for us. The first reason was the creation of an ambience: lighting, flowers, and decor. My husband and I wanted something simple but elegant, and Kerrie delivered that in spades. If photography is important to you, any photographer will tell you how important lighting is (as ours told us). Kerrie’s magic touch definitely made a huge difference in how the room felt. It was beautiful, emanating warmth and elegance. With the décor, my husband and I did not really have a good idea of what we wanted the hall to look like, and Kerrie provided a lot of invaluable advice, as well as pictures to help us imagine what it could look like. She was extremely patient with us as we changed our minds numerous times to try to hit the right note. The outcome (a combination of the gold chivari chairs, burgundy linings, and our submerged-flower centrepieces in burnt orange, green and burgundy) was stunning. We received a lot of compliments that night on the décor thanks to Kerrie. The second reason was the selection of vendors. You may have a crystal clear picture of exactly how you want your wedding to look like, but how do you make that reality? The vendors. Kerrie was awesome in this regard, working very closely with the vendors to ensure that our needs are met (and prices are negotiated). The vendors all love Kerrie, which makes things so much easier for the bride and groom. AND, Kerrie managed to have the DJ come in and set up the lights, and the linens and chairs delivered and set up the day before the wedding for us! We were running on a very tight schedule on the day of the wedding, and the fact that Kerrie managed to arrange this was extremely impressive and unexpected. It allowed me to enjoy my time with my girls the night before, rather than worrying about the schedule for the next day.Our last (but certainly not least - in fact, it could potentially be the most important) reason is someone to help you on the day of the wedding. Kerrie’s contributions before the wedding were numerous and substantial, but even those paled in comparison to her assistance on the day of the wedding. Always punctual and cheerful, Kerrie arrived at my hotel room early in the morning and worked behind the scenes until late at night. She helped us keep to the timeline (extremely crucial for Chinese weddings with auspicious and inauspicious hours for doing almost everything), and made sure everything and everyone was where they should be, when they should be, doing what they should be. She was always there, behind the scenes with her encouragement and bubbly-ness, her extremely well-organized and extensive emergency kit, and her detailed to-do list; but giving you tons of personal space to enjoy the day. All sorts of things magically appeared with Kerrie's help that day - we didn't need to worry about a thing.People always said to us before the wedding, “You can’t really think that you’ll enjoy your wedding day, there’s just too much to take care of.” Well, my husband and I did. We had fun, and we really really enjoyed the day (and it was a long day that started at 7am and ended at midnight). And it is all because someone had already taken care of everything for the two of us: Kerrie.So did I change my opinion on the necessity of a wedding co-ordinator after my wedding? It is an emphatic, “yes!” You need to have Kerrie as a wedding co-ordinator if you want to have a beautiful wedding that is totally you, want a hassle-free planning process with the vendors and enjoy your wedding day. And aside from the compliments on all aspects of the wedding, guess what else a lot of my friends said to me? “Your wedding co-ordinator was phenomenal.” And we have to agree.

If you knew me, you'd know that there was about a 0.00002% chance that with my high standards that I would be able to look back at my wedding and say that it went *just* as I would have hoped. But I would have been wrong. It was better.I got engaged 14 months prior to my nuptials, and in a fit of engaged mania, I shot off frenzied emails to about a dozen favorite planner blogs. With no date or venue in hand, alas the only response I received was Kerrie's. She sent a lovely electronic package (in less than 10 minutes!) and followed up with a call to discuss next steps. Despite Kerrie's warm congratulations and outreach, I saw the folly in my ways and went embarassingly radio silent until I had the date and venue in hand. With four months passed and the St. Regis list of "approved planners" in hand, I tried again soliciting planners. I narrowed the list to 5 for phone interviews. After talking to them all - Kerrie was not only the most reasonable of the bunch, but also had a bubbly nature that was surprisingly calming. The perfect chemistry for me. I knew I had my wedding planning partner (already resigned that my soon-to-be hubby wasn't going to be!)From the get, Kerrie, with military precision, helped me set a budget and gave me a focused set of vendor options. Let me tell you, this was *the key* to the success of the whole event. Her relationships with each and everyone one of my vendors (Sarah K Chen Photography, DJ Tasos, Lauren from Design Visage, Nisie's Enchanted Florists, Fusion Linens, Chivari Chair Rentals, and Kelly O'Dell at the St. Regis - I love each and every one of you!!!) left me to simply put what was vaguely in my head into the hopper in and step away until it was time to approve and pay! She knew how to manage my expectations on how to get the most of my budget and how to get the best rates from my vendors. No question that by PAYING Kerrie, *we* actually profited in the end.Checking in periodically over the following year - and arming me with the mother of all checklists - Kerrie kept my mind at ease and my nerves at bay. As all nutty brides do, I had my panic moments. I don't think Kerrie blinks. No, really. With her beautiful smile (by phone!) she placated my spastic nature and procured answers in record time. During vendor meetings, she translated my ambivalence and intervened as bad cop on my behalf whenever needed (not often!) As the dates got closer, she even consumed our entire wedding war room (invites, favors, props, bubble machine, endless candy, etc! - thank you Greg for giving up your garage and home!) knowing that that would relieve some of the pre-wedding stress.But all this pales in comparison to her contributions on the day of our wedding. At about a quarter to 5am, I sent Kerrie, what must be typical bride protocol, a last minute panicked logistics email. A couple short hours later, she had me on the phone telling me to breathe and all of those little things had long been addressed. Shortly, as I was getting my hair coiffed and my face put on, Kerrie literally floated in the room with a "hello my bride!" wearing the most darling pale blush pink necklace (her whole team donned pink as a tribute to our wedding colors - what a thoughtful touch!). She immediately put on her game face and went to work. It was like a ballet - the bouquets appeared, the photographers were snapping all my handmade details, the groomsmen who apparently didn't want to wear their suspenders - well, let's just say, I found out about them the next day.Not only did her team make my table settings, my candy bar (which had over 70 pounds of candy including oversized 2.5" marshmallows!) and my custom gown-inspired cake better than I could have imagined, she was able to wrangle our 5 bridesmaids, 5 groomsmen, two sets of parents, and a 6-person junior bridal party with little more than a whisper. My favorite quote (told to me the next day) was that a groomsman, to remain unnamed, thought "golfcourse mayhem" was his middle name, and basically got his ear tugged by Kerrie - he was simply sternly told (mid-tantrum) "I'm not here to be YOUR best friend - I'm here to be HERS." Priceless.Kerrie made sure we ate and sampled everything we selected. Kerrie ensured we never had an empty glass. Kerrie "macgyver'd" my horribly long dress to ensure I could enjoy my first dance with my new husband. Kerrie even made sure that we were able to steal away a few quiet moments just for us. As much as I am grateful to my wonderful parents, my new in-laws, my gorgeous hubby - I will always to be thankful to Kerrie Underhill for giving me the "platinum" wedding that I had pictured in my princess head since I was 5 (and so much more). Kerrie is absolutely, positively AMAZING. Even as I write this review, I know in advance that the words I type could never convey the incredible wedding planner and person that she is. But here I go…From the outset I knew that I wanted someone with a great sense of style, incomparable knowledge of the wedding industry and impeccable attention to detail. What I found was simply amazing, I found Kerrie. She exceeded every single expectation, she fulfilled every dream and in the process she became a near and dear friend and “sole” sister (yes, “sole” sister , Kerrie has the best taste in shoes). But I digress. I hired Kerrie to be my wedding planner for my PERFECT April 2011 wedding at Pelican Hill. I had no idea where to begin in my planning process when I contacted her a little over a year before even deciding on a wedding date, but what I was certain of was that I wanted my wedding in Newport Beach. I did a Google search for Newport Beach planners and ran across a timelessly elegant Pelican Hill wedding that Kerrie had done the previous spring. I emailed her and not more than five minutes after I pressed the “Send” button did I have a very organized and detailed email from Kerrie, introducing herself and providing me with venue recommendations. Did I mention that I was emailing her from Dallas, Texas where my fiancé and I lived? I also emailed about 5 other well-known planners in the Newport and Los Angeles area and no one knocked my socks off and/or was as responsive, organized or down-to-earth as Kerrie. I wanted to meet in person, she completely cleared her schedule so I could fly down. Once I arrived, she showed me around Newport and potential venues and talked to me for hours about all things weddings, and this was all before I even signed a contract! She and I just clicked and it just felt right. Needless to say, I signed up to have a PWBK. Of all the decisions I made in 2010, excluding agreeing to marry my very handsome husband, was hiring Kerrie. She made the whole wedding process so Easy. I’m positive that she could sense my extreme type-A personality and provided me with charts, timelines and updated budgets, which always put me at ease. I completely trusted her judgment and placed my entire wedding in her hands since I did not live in Newport. I would give Kerrie vague concepts like “Miami chic” and “effortless elegance” and she knew EXACTLY what I meant and conveyed my vision to the vendors. She also recommended the best vendors on the planet, handled all communications and contract negotiations and even took the time to answer calls from my parents and in-laws, and it didn’t stop once the wedding was over. Kerrie even followed-up with me to make sure that I had mailed off my marriage certificate. Talk about full service!!! The day of the wedding I got to enjoy my wedding day (including the food, the details, and my family). Imagine that?!?! A bride that actually gets to enjoy her own wedding!! Kerrie planned everything down to the minute (even inserting a buffer for my parents and in-laws who are notoriously late). She was like a mind reader. She thought of every possible situation. I never had to worry about a thing, answer a call or do anything besides show up and marry my best friend. Kerrie is the epitome of professionalism and just an all-around fabulous person. If you want perfection don’t settle for anyone other than Kerrie Underhill. I promise that you will not be disappointed and/or find your money better spent anywhere else.

I couldn't imagine what I would have done without Kerrie! She was absolutely amazing!! I had originally hired another wedding planner and after a couple meetings didnt feel very comfortable with having her "run the show"....so I started looking elsewhere. I contacted Kerrie and set up an initial meeting with her. Needless to say, after spending probably 5 minutes with her I knew she would help coordinate the most spectacular wedding ever and made me feel completely at ease. We signed the contract right then and there! I didnt need to meet with anyone else. She picked up the mess that my original coordinator had left and basically took over everything that I had been trying to do myself! Now I know everyone always says there will be one thing that goes wrong at your wedding so to be prepared for that....well, I can honestly say that not one thing went wrong at my rehearsal or my wedding!!! Everything went so smoothly and completely as planned and I contribute it all to Kerrie! Seriously, do yourself a HUGE favor and hire her as your coordinator!! If you have her on your "team" you will feel totally at ease with everything from the vendors, to the rehearsal, to the timeline, to the wedding day, etc. She is absolutely amazing at what she does and I would highly, highly recommend her!!!

Where do I begin in singing Kerrie's praises?!? Hiring Kerrie as our wedding planner was the BEST decision we made in the whole process. Living in New York and planning a wedding in California, we knew we were going to need some extra help, but we had no idea how instrumental Kerrie would be for us until we started working with her. Kerrie went above and beyond from day one. I had contacted a handful of wedding planners at the outset, and when Kerrie got back to me by phone within a couple hours, I was immediately impressed by how on top of things she was and really appreciated her responsiveness. That is exactly what you will get when you hire Kerrie. She makes you her priority, no matter how many months it is until your wedding and she makes you feel like you are her only client. One of the best things about working with Kerrie from the beginning of our planning is that she helped us put together a stellar vendor team. There's no way I would have been able to find the amazing vendors that we had even by doing research on my own, and that was a huge plus. Once Kerrie got to know us, she sent us several suggestions in each vendor category to check out and then narrow down. You will find once you hire your vendors that everyone loves working with her, and you really get treated well as one of Kerrie's clients! Knowing that your vendors are excited to work with Kerrie on the day of your wedding definitely adds to the excitement of the planning. We only had a few trips planned to California during our engagement, and whenever we came to town, Kerrie took care of scheduling all of our vendor meetings and made sure that we were able to get everything done. She even met with us twice during our trips home and went out of her way to do so. There is no doubt that Kerrie is extremely professional and an expert in what she does, but she also became a wonderful friend and confidante, which I appreciated so much. There were many times when things felt really stressful for me and Kerrie was always there to listen on the phone, or to respond to a rambling email. She ALWAYS had my best interests in mind and I could not be more thankful for that. More than anything, though, having Kerrie really puts your mind at ease for the wedding day, and that's ultimately what's the most important. There wasn't a worry in my mind on that day because I knew that Kerrie would take care of everything. She makes sure that your only concern is about having a blast and getting the most out of that day. We could never have had the unbelievable wedding that we did without Kerrie. Not only did the day go by so smoothly, but it was everything that we wanted and more. Thanks to Kerrie we will always have the most beautiful memories of our perfect wedding and we could not feel more lucky. Definitely do yourself a favor and get Kerrie as your wedding planner!

We hired Kerrie as a "week of" wedding coordinator. It was such a relief to have her-- there was so much to do the week before the wedding, so it was great to be able to rely on Kerrie for vendor correspondence and last minute details. We were very impressed by her ability to keep things running smoothly, both at the rehearsal and on the day of. Because of Kerrie, both myself and my husband were able to relax and enjoy our big day without worry. Kerrie's guidance throughout the planning process was invaluable. Additionally, we would highly recommend taking advantage of Kerrie's vendor recommendations. We had hired and fired TWO wedding coordinators (one from the Ritz list) before we found Kerrie Underhill. Kerrie was a BLESSING for my wedding preparation and day!!! Even my critical Persian dad went up and hugged Kerrie *multiple* times, thanking her for making the weekend feel so under control and relaxed. Kerrie's follow through is outstanding! It's like she doesn't forget a thing. She's extremely professional and accessible. I called her the week before my wedding from the invitation store, freaking out over my last minute seating card situation, and she held my hand and talking me through everything. Kerrie was my coach and my cheerleader!I would absolutely 100% recommend Kerrie!!! If you're lucky enough to get her.... If you didn't know, her rates are A LOT lower than other high quality coordinators. It's part of why I originally picked her, but she FAR FAR exceeded my expectations. 4 months before my wedding the venue went bankrupt and I had to start the process of planning all over again. In the midst of figuring out how to juggle all the locations and my mind a friend suggested I called Kerrie. I couldn't be happier that I made that call. I used her for her week of services but she helped me much more then that. SHe was my sanity and let me bounce ideas off of her and offered her professional and experienced suggestions. My wedding day could not have gone smoother from my eyes - she kept everything on time and made sure everything flowed beautifully. Although we had already planned the entire wedding, she was able to offer several ideas for last-minute details that put beautiful finishes on our big day. I contacted Kerrie after my wedding venue canceled on me three months before our big day... needless to say, I was not in a great place. I emailed Kerrie and I think I got a phone call from her not 5 minutes later- she was so caring and concerned about our situation! I needed someone to help put together a brand new wedding in only a few short months- and Kerrie was up for the challenge!She gave a VERY fair price based on our situation and where we were in the planning process. Kerrie was the coordinator for my April 2010 wedding at The Immaculata and The Lodge at Torrey Pines. She was the best decision and investment I made in my wedding. She is professional, smart, friendly, and organized. The value Kerrie added to my wedding preparation and wedding day was far greater than what I paid. I rarely give unsolicited advice, unless I feel very strongly about the advice I am giving: Do not get married without hiring Kerrie as your coordinator. I found myself saying several times the week and day of my wedding, “thank God for Kerrie.” You will also. Leading up to my wedding, I met with Kerrie to discuss my plans and vendors. Kerrie has a network of reputable vendors that she is happy to recommend and are happy to make themselves available to work with her clients. Kerrie recommended the florist and DJ that I contracted with and could not have been happier with.Kerrie also made several suggestions of affordable and classy ways to add nice touches to my wedding that I would not have otherwise thought of. As my wedding day grew closer, Kerrie reviewed and provided valuable input on my vendor contracts. She also worked with me and my husband to provide a detailed wedding day timeline. She contacted all of my vendors to provide them with the timeline and ensure each knew exactly when and where they were supposed to be. I was very prepared and organized for my wedding day, but I had no idea how busy and overwhelmed I would be the week of my wedding at the office and with last minute preparations. I am extremely grateful Kerrie handled these items for me. On the day before my wedding, the hairdresser I had booked to come to the hotel to do my hair, my mother’s hair, and my bridesmaids’ hair flaked. This was completely unexpected and I was not prepared with a back-up plan. With one phone call to Kerrie and within about 15 minutes, Kerrie had booked a new hairdresser who did a fantastic job. Kerrie earned her fee right there. I was able to enjoy my once in a lifetime rehearsal and rehearsal dinner without calling hairdressers to find a suitable replacement and worrying the night away.Kerrie ran my wedding day like clockwork while making everyone feel at ease. At one point before the ceremony, I recall asking her what time it was, and she calmly reminded me not to worry about the clock that day…she would be the clock. That sums up Kerrie’s value on the wedding day. She is there so you can enjoy the day and live in the moment. She will manage the logistics and any unexpected missteps so you can enjoy and appreciate the very special day you have spent so much time preparing for. That is how it should be. Kerrie is the ultimate professional. She knows the business. She maintains her composure at all times. She looks out for your interests. She repairs broken bustles! She is on top of everything. My parents, husband, and I are so grateful for her.




Kerrie is so beyond fabulous! My husband and I hired Kerrie for our month-of coordinator at the urging of our venue. Originally I was very reluctant to hire a coordinator because I thought we could do it all ourselves and saw it as a totally unnecessary expense (in fact I think one of my questions to Kerrie was "why is a coordinator necessary") but OMG thank god cooler heads prevailed.
I started off my WC interviewing process believing I would hire an Asian vendor as my husband's family is Korean and they speak very little English. They also had a lot of demands for the wedding (such as performing a traditional Korean ceremony, the food, the decor etc. etc.) but honestly, Kerrie was the winner hands down as someone who is warm, caring, organized and CALM.
About 3-4 weeks before the wedding, I was 10 out of 10 on the stress level scale and magically one day, all vendors stopped calling me, I stopped hearing about problems with the venue and Kerrie just stepped in and took over! I have sent that girl something like 10 to 15 emails in one day (just on a few times, not because I'm crazy!) and she get's back to me generally in the same day -- even the 11pm emails.
She really shined on the day of the wedding. My bridal party, my family, my husband and I just totally enjoyed the day and didn't think or worry about ANYTHING. She calmly directed all the vendors, the setting and problem solved without getting us involved. There was a hiccup regarding seating at our reception, but she was able to calm me down, show me that it was a small misstep and certainly nothing to get worked up about.
In conclusion, in Kerrie you are hiring a artisitc consultation, a personal assistant, a psychotherapist, a Mom/sister/favorite cousin, and a tough negotiator all in one package... a fabulous deal!

Before meeting with her, my wife and I had so many ideas of things that we wanted to have and do but were not sure how to incorporate. At our first consultation we saw just how much she knew and gave us priceless advice on how all our ideas would affect things like cost (she is astutely budget conscious), timeline, and the overall feel of the wedding. In the weeks to follow she was able to pull all the loose ideas and aspects in, tying them down so that everyone was on the same page, and that there was little room for misunderstanding or error between all the vendors and parties involved.
Kerrie planned out wedding day down to the minute, which any coordinator can and should do for you, but the most important part was that she and her team were there to direct everything and made sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish.
We found her a pleasure to work with and so did our vendors. Speaking of vendors she has an extensive network in the wedding industry and can recommend vendors to suit your wishes and budget. There was a particular chair that my wife and I wanted but thought didn't exist and she was able to find it!

All I can say is Kerrie was the most fabulous wedding planner!! Me and my husband both just loved her!! I wouldnt consider myself a bridezilla but I think that if I did not have Kerrie I would have been for sure! Everytime my nerves, thoughts or stress started to get to me she was instantly calming me down or giving me the information needed to put my thoughts to rest. I had never met someone so organized and so friendly. We had a difficult group of people, well I thought we did, until Kerrie just took control and had everyone doing exactly what they needed! Kerrie was terrific. There is no way the day would have gone half as well without her incredible management skills. We did the Day Of package which meant we met with Kerrie three times before the day to discuss what the BIG DAY Plans. We got married at my grandparents' house and there were several "set changes", we knew we needed someone who could organize everything and make sure all the tables were set up or taken down and that the guests were "herded" upstairs than downstairs. There were a lot of moving parts and we weren't going to be able to do a practice run. Kerrie assured us it would all go smoothly and it definitely did. We were able to relax on the day knowing she was in charge.
She is very professional and thinks of everything. Truly everything. She does far more than just coordinate on the day of (even if you hire her as an exclusive DOC) she coordinates FOR the day of.




Kerrie is absolutely perfect and such a wedding-lifesaver!! We love her! I don't even want to think how our wedding experience would have been without her! Her service was the best use of our money. We live outside of California but our wedding was in Los Angeles. We looked to hiring a planner to alleviate the stress and trickiness of planning a wedding from a distance. We were very overwhelmed by all the details, the many things to think about and consider, working with a budget, etc. We hired Kerrie as our month of coordinator and, if only our budget allowed, we would have hired her for her most complete planning package! From the beginning, when I first called Kerrie to ask for a consultation through the crazy last few weeks until the wedding, Kerrie was always warm, responsive, and easy to talk to. She's extremely organized and attentive to detail! Kerrie helped us become more confident in planning with her useful and ready advice.
She also has an amazing network of vendors that she had experience working with in the past. Her referrals saved us a lot of time from research and worry. Kerrie becomes your advocate when dealing with all your vendors. She ensures that your vendors understand what you want - she definitely looks out for your interests, even when you don't realize that that's what you want yet! She has enough experience to know how a wedding should run perfectly but she's also sensitive to what you want and willing to do things that may be out of the ordinary.

Kerrie is FABULOUS...she was a lifesaver in so many ways and a ton of fun to work with as well! She has a way of being direct, professional, and efficient, while still extremely personable and fun. Without fail, she responded to all emails and phone calls on the same day, and whenever asked to provide referrals or suggestions, they came immediately. Hiring Kerrie was by far one of the BEST decisions we ever made. In fact, I'd give her more than 5 stars if possible :-) Honestly, Kerrie goes above and beyond the call of duty. She was the 'week of' coordinator for our wedding a couple of weeks ago, and she was absolutely wonderful. We had meetings and exchanged emails with her over the course of a year, and we felt we were in excellent hands, but she still managed to exceed all our expectations. She helped us pull together an amazing timeline and helped us out with so many last minute details. In fact, she knew that we had spent a lot of time doing many of the paper projects for the wedding ourselves, and she was so concerned the people at our venue wouldn't fold the napkins/menus correctly that she took them home and did them herself!

Without Kerri, our wedding would have been totally unorganized. She was absolutely amazing, showed up early, and kept us on schedule. She called all our vendors and made sure everything was correct and how we wanted.
We had difficulties with our venue, and our puppy went missing the day of our wedding, but she managed to handle everything so that all of the problems that popped up were handled and everything was perfect. Everything was beautiful down to every detail, the day was so relaxed, organized and amazing! WE LOVE KERRIE! My family keeps mentioning how we could not have pulled off this wedding without her. So my reception venue was offsite from the ceremony. For Kerrie--this was a no brainer. She made everything go sOoOoOO smoothly!!~ On top of that, we had 2 different reception sites, and the main reception site was at the Greystone Mansion. It was such a beautiful place, but very difficult in terms of having an inner and outer courtyard with so many guests. It could not have gone any better/smoother with 500+ guests at the ceremony. Kerrie and her team never hesitated to assist me from putting on my accessories to cleaning up until the last guest left. Super professional and super fun, Kerrie is an expert! She is quick to respond to emails/phone calls too!

I hired kerrie as a DOC based solely on reviews from the internet. Prior to making a decision, i never met her or spoke to her on the phone. my only contact was an email i sent. she wrote back from her vacation instantly and I just had a very good feeling, so i booked her over an email. I'm not a bride who likes to spend too much time on decisions or choices and i figured she seemed good enough. Well, she exceeded all my expectations! having just had my dream wedding, i can honestly say I owe it in large part to Kerrie. She was on all counts amazing, thoughtful, deliberate, organized, responsible, and incredibly resourceful. The day after, I tried hard to think of anything that went wrong, and i couldn't think of one - the entire day was seamless and effortless.
Kerrie should be your first vendor decision. whether you hire her for a DOC or a full coordination, she should be your first call. (In addition to the amazing DOC help, if you need them, she will provide great vendor suggestions. I booked both my photographer and hair/makeup vendors based on her suggestions.) I honestly cannot imagine how anyone gets through a wedding day without the help of a coordinator - and this is coming from someone who never would have imagined having the help. i wish i could have kerrie at every future party i throw.

I could not imagine going through my wedding day without Kerrie. She reviewed every detail, and even came up with a Plan B, in case of rain, without our initiation for our ceremony, and consulted with all our vendors. When the wedding day finally arrived, there was no stress. Kerrie took all of the pressure upon herself to make sure everyone and everything was where they were supposed to be. The only thing my bride and I had to worry about was remembering the steps to our first dance. Everything turned out better than we could have hoped. I hired Kerrie as our DOC only 2 months before our big day! I was skeptical that my reception location and catering company could not facilitate our wedding needs as planned or had the proper experience to handle my event, and once I met Kerrie I was calm and collected about our big day. It was a breath of relief because FINALLY I could trust someone and had someone to actually listen! She KNOWS what shes doing, has GREAT customer service, VERY organized, and CARES about her brides & Grooms- which helped me feel good putting our wedding in her hands. (We would be at a different location for our ceremony which stressed me out- so she was there for and as "ME" for the reception set-up).
Kerrie did an AMAZING job facilitating the events in the evening, troubleshooting any issues we had, helped me along the night, and set up & decorated just as we had planned and then some! We (along with our guests) were truly impressed my Kerrie's hard work, compassion, and work ethic. I truly believe our wedding wouldn't have been what it was- without her....
I would suggest to ANY bride to meet with Kerrie and consider using her to help complete their big day, it was one of my 100% satisfaction vendors (which are truly hard to find). Even though you may be DIY, or your place may come with what they call a "coordinator," you need someone there to look out for your best interests or you may regret it. My husband and I (still getting used to that!) had an absolute blast at our wedding (our greatest surprise), and most of it we feel we owe to Kerrie. Her work is positively seamless, and really lets you enjoy the day with no worries whatsoever (outside of carrying out the biggest decision of your life!). I have worked in the business as a videographer for many years....so semi-know the stress that goes along with planning a wedding. From day one I knew I needed a day of coordinator. Someone recommended Kerrie to me so I sent her an email. She was the only coordinator that was flexible enough to work within my budget and returned my email with a personal phone call.
Kerrie is a very hard worker and extremely organized. Example: I would email her and if she was out of the office and responded an hour later (I'm not kidding) she would write "I'm so sorry for my delay in getting back to you."
We had a few meetings to go over the wedding day and she thought of so many things I didn't even consider! I'm a media person so I had 5 video elements to be played during the wedding and reception. She communicated with all the vendors the timeline of events and everything went off perfectly...even the 5 videos!! She is an extremely creative, compassionate, fun loving yet professional woman. I highly recommend her to everyone and wish I had another huge life changing event to plan cause I would hire her in a heartbeat!!!

At first I was a bit skeptical hiring a day of coordinator as I considered myself and DIY type bride as well as a bride on tight budget. However, Since my wedding weeks ago I must say that best money we spent for the whole wedding was on our day of coordinator, Kerrie Underhill( of Platinum Weddings). I seriously dont know what we would have done without her. Our provided event coordinator at our wedding site was seriously lacking and during the rehearsal and the day of Kerrie basically did her job and her own in order to ensure that our day went smoothly! Her hard work did not go unnoticed as many many of our guests could not say enough great things about Kerrie. Kerrie was beyond organized, professional and calm and had a great attitude throughout the whole day even through a couple bumps in the road. Our familie's especially could not say enough great things about her, calling her "a lifesaver" on many occasions! I could not agree more. I would recommend Kerrie to any bride, regardless of budget. As a recent bride myself I think that the peace of mind Kerrie provides, as well as knowing that Kerrie will work to have the day run smoothly and carryout the many planned details is worth any price tag! If your smart, you will hire Kerrie :)
On another note, I want to say agree with the other brides reviews and say that Kerrie does go above and beyond in her line of work and as a professional working in the wedding industry. For example, when I first filled out the online inquiry the next day I received a phone call from Kerrie as she wanted to learn more about the big day. I was shocked to have received a phone call-and from this day she is the first vendor I contacted to respond by phone and within 24 hours! In addition when trying to figure out a signature drink for the reception I asked Kerrie if she had any ideas and she provided me with over 10 different drinks, recipes included, she thought would coordinate the wedding and the day! These are a just few examples of how Kerrie goes above and beyond-it would be too large of a post to list them all.
Overall, I would hire Kerrie again in a heartbeat. She is an amazing person and an incredibly hard worker. It is easy to see that she has a passion for what she does and it shines through in every capacity of her work. I feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to work with her and would encourage other brides to jump on the chance to hire her for their own weddings.




I want to echo all the previous posts about Kerrie's phenomenal services. Our wedding on July 19 was everything we had hoped and more, and it's all because of her! From a year out, Kerrie was there for us with support, guidance, answers to questions, a cheerful attitude, and extensive knowledge. She was kind, classy, professional, and super responsive - I'd email her a question and 20 minutes later, the answer was there! She helped us find every vendor, saved us money, and aided us in bringing our vision to life. On the day of the wedding, she ran the entire show with the help of two assistants, both of which were delightful and totally on top of all the day's details. The day went perfectly, and I could not have been happier with the entire planning and execution experience. I highly, highly recommend her. Hire her now before she's not available for your date! Kerrie was my day of coordinator for my wedding in July. She was such a great help and really helped my dreams become a reality on the big day. I can’t even tell you how great she is and how her “can do” attitude really helped relax my mom and I. I thought I had everything covered for the wedding and she thinks of things that I would have missed and most importantly takes care of the flow of the reception and ensures that everything is set up perfectly and that your important items, gifts and anything you bring with you makes it home with you!. Kerrie was our wedding coordinator and helped us through every step of our wedding planning. I can honestly say that hiring her was the best wedding planning decision we made. She was consistently professional, organized, creative, kind, patient, available, and understanding through the whole process. She always made me feel comfortable and important. I knew I could call her with any question and I never felt she was too busy for me. Her checklists and timelines really helped me stay organized and on-track (which I desperately needed!), and her vendor recommendations were perfect. She also personally did all the paper details (programs, menus, placecards, signs, etc...) and some great votives which really pulled together the whole look for our day.

Kerrie was so sweet to work with. I hired her to be my DOC and was really lucky to have her involved in my wedding. At first I didn't think I needed a DOC but as I got closer to the wedding I realized all the details would stress me out on my wedding day. I contacted Kerrie and she was nice enough to work with my budget. She is organized, detailed, efficient, and most importantly she makes sure the bride is always happy. Kerrie made sure my wedding day went smoothly, stayed on schedule, and was the best day of my life. My family absolutely loved her and have already asked me for her information for future events.




Kerrie is absolutely amazing. I was really lucky that my co-MOHs found her for me. She is so organized, professional, and sweet! My wedding day started out quite stressful - my make up and hair artist was half an hour late, but Kerrie pulled me together, and put it all together. Not only were we back on schedule, but we even got to start the reception early because the day went so smoothly... Everything went as planned, and everyone enjoyed themselves. Best of all, I didn't have to worry about a thing. She had everything under control, which is hard when you have 300 guests, two large families with their own ideas of how to do things, and three locations!
I don't think my wedding would have been so perfect if Kerrie was not a part of it.




Kerrie was a last minute add on as our DOC, when we found out that Priscilla would only coordinate our day for an additional fee (I assumed it was include- lesson is: never assume!) She literally saved our day. I have no idea what we would have done without her. She is totally professional, organized, and knowledgable. Our guests were even complimenting us on her!




I was very lucky to have had Kerrie involved with my wedding. I was planning most of it from overseas, so she was great at keeping my head on straight and helped me to not worry about things. She is so on top of things, great to work with, and it is obvious that she loves what she does. I recommend every Bride hire a planner for at least a day of package, if not the full thing, as it takes a load of the stress of you so you can really sit back and enjoy.

My husband and I LOVED Kerrie. We hired her as a "day-of" coordinator and we were only kicking ourselves that we didn’t hire her to plan the whole thing. Kerrie was always professional, always pleasant to work with, and never pushy. We had the time of our lives on our wedding day and I KNOW that in LARGE part is due to Kerrie.
