Polen Farm was so pretty! We had a ceremony only in the gazebo. It was nice to have the house to get ready in and a back up plan in case it rained. I had to switch my date once and the lady was very nice and helpful and didn't give me a hard time about it. The landscaping, house and gazebo made for beautiful back drops! I would recommend getting married here.

We were married in the gazebo and had our reception in the barn. Both are gorgeous! As are the house, which we were able to use to get dressed. It's a picture perfect setting and thankfully the weather held! There is a tent on site that can be used as a back-up in case of inclement weather but it's an additional $200 to have chairs set up. The bad thing is you have to pay the $200 up front, not on the day of in case of rain and you don't get it back if the weather is nice. You also can't get into the venue early to decorate unless you pay for the hours. Luckily I had someone to decorate the barn (which really didn't need much since it's all gorgeous wood beams and already has fairy lights on the rafters) while the wedding party was getting ready. The staff at Polen are very efficient and helpful! They made sure we had all the tables, chairs, etc that we needed set up and ready for us when our time started. The only other negative is that they have a list of "preferred" caterers and only 2 of the 6 of those can serve food warm in the barn because of the rules about using open flame in the historic property. Overall we really enjoyed being at Polen Farm for our wedding day and our photos, which were shot all over the property, are gorgeous!

I loved Polen Farm! It was so easy to dress the barn up for my reception. The only problem I had was the heat. There's no air and the ceiling fans don't do much. Other than that it was the perfect location! And the staff is very friendly and easy to work with. I would use this place again.

Considering my original wedding location closed 3 months before my wedding date, polen farm really came through for me and helped me. The ladies there were great and easy to work with, they called back quickly and my wedding day was awesome! The only thing I didn't really like is that you buy a block of hours and then you have to buy the hours indivually after that that.

The grounds and buildings at Polen Farm are wonderful. We rented just the barn for the reception and the gazebo was included for the ceremony. Included in the rental are the tables and chairs. Be cautious of time when you rent. You cannot get in any earlier than what you beginning contract time to start decorating. The staff were very hard to get a hold of, we would call in the morning/ early afternoon and they would not call back until about 5 minutes before they closed. We played phone tag a lot in the beginning also when trying to set up the time for our first consult.

We booked out wedding using the barn for the reception and gazebo for the ceremony. Polen Farms was very receptive to our needs and wishes and were very flexible with our time schedule. The site was well kept and beautiful even with an extremely hot summer the flowers and grass was fresh looking. The people who were there during the time we were setting up our reception area were very helpful to make last minute changes to the floor plan. Our wedding turned out a dream and we couldn't have asked for a better venue for it to take place in.

We booked the gazebo for our ceremony and the barn for our reception. Polen Farm is gorgous and a wonderful place to have a wedding -- it fit our style wonderfully! However, it is very hard to book a rehearsal time (which is an added cost) and during our rehearsal, staff were less than pleasant. The woman there during that time was very pushy, didn't want to answer questions and actually kicked us out 1/2 hr before we were supposed to leave (and I paid for that 1/2 hr!) I would say 1/2 the staff is pleasant to work with and 1/2 isn't. During the day of the wedding, the man coordinating our wedding was very nice and super helpful. It was raining all day and he kept an eye on the radar. At the last minute, he actually helped us move the wedding back to the gazebo. This place is beautiful with pros and cons! Most of the negative are staff attitudes and cost without a lot of things included.

They were very friendly and easy to work with. I love the site the landscaping is beautiful. The location is great for our friends and family. It is a wonderful place to go for a simple and elegant wedding.

It was a great place to have both our ceremony and reception. Family and friends really liked that they didn’t have to travel to more than one location. It’s a very beautiful location for photographs and events. It took minimal decorations, which worked well with our rental time. My one complaint would be that you cannot get in early to set-up. The staff was very helpful and professional.

We had our wedding in the gazebo and our reception on the houses back patio and breeze way. We had a small wedding of less than 80 guests and we fit perfectly. The landscaping was gorgeous and the perfect back drop. The Polen Farm staff were pleasant to work with and were really good about returning calls. I would highly recommend the Polen Farm for your wedding!

Though I reserved the site a year and a half in advance ,there still seemed to be minor problems on the day of the rehearsal. This could be due to staff changes but other than a little miscommunication (we asked for some chairs at rehearsal and had to go search for them), everything went well. They were prepared with a tent since the threat of rain was on the horizon, and helped make sure on the wedding day that everyone was happy and taken care of.

The only drawback was the amount of time we were given to use the site for both ceremony and reception - it cut my reception a bit shorter than I wanted. Otherwise - great place to hold a wedding and responsive staff attended to our needs/requests.
