This is a FANTASTIC florist with an amazing eye for design. They think outside the box and are willing to incorporate varied elements outside of basic florals to really tailor the environment and design to you and your personal vision. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to use Pollen for the execution of my flowers in Mexico (due to Mexican agricultural requirements) but I used each and every idea that Craig and Hanh proposed - and they even helped me with the details for ordering all of the elements through a Mexican florist!! They are super professional, detail-oriented, creative and really delightful to work with. I felt like a VIP in every way.
Simply the best floral experience you can get in LA. Professional staff. Gorgeous flowers. And best of all, unique and original designs. They make everyone feel like the A-list stars that they cater to. Can't recommend more highly.
Flowers are a tough part of the wedding. They're expensive, they can overpower the space, and they often feel simply tossed together in a traditional arrangement you've seen at every other wedding you've attended. The flowers from Pollen were nothing like that. Craig's work was sophisticated, looked expensive without seeming ostentatious, and in their own way made us look even better on the actual day.
We got married at a friend's restaurant and didn't want enormous sprays of flowers, but we also wanted the event to seem special and not like any other afternoon lunch at this location. We asked for simple, elegant, beautiful and with a slight masculine feel-- and Craig totally delivered. The flowers enhanced the restaurant, adding to the charm of this old 1920s California Craftsman and creating beautiful focal points throughout the space.
The alter/ceremony space was simply done but really set the stage that this was a special area. The photos reflected that, because we were clearly the center of attention but everyone has commented on how wonderful the flowers framed and complimented us.
I would hire Craig again in a heartbeat for any event requiring beautiful work.
