When the Boy and I decided to throw a wedding for ourselves I knew that typically the wedding planning sort of fell to the bride. Unfortunately I am not exactly your typical gal who just gushes over every little detail. I'm also not crafty at all. With that knowledge we sought out someone who could lighten our load by taking care of all the flowers and decor. POPPYlove was our solution.

I had no concrete ideas about what I wanted our wedding to look like but I knew I wanted it to feel like us. I wanted our personalities to somehow be conveyed through the flowers and the design. When I told Maya this, I was sure that it would sound sort of crazy but she took that and ran with it. She took my abstractions and turned them into a reality.

Not only was she able to capture the tenor of our relationship but everything was utterly chic, stylish and modern, but still quirky and fun. Our personalities were present in everything from the gorgeous center pieces right down to the sign she made for the beverage server at our beach ceremony.
