Lisa was incredible. Without her -- our intimate and charming backyard event would not have been possible. She served as our day of coordinator and introduced us to all of her fabulous vendors. She took away all planning/coordinating related stress. Really, could not be more grateful. We were able to truly enjoy every ounce of our wedding day. It was perfect. Lisa is incredibly professional, flexible and oh so knolwedgeable about all things wedding. She helped us make so many decisions and was a great sounding board for ideas and advice. We LOVE Lisa!!

My mother was determined to make me use a wedding planner even though I thought I was organized enough to handle everything by myself and was weary of someone taking over and not doing what I wanted. Then we met Lisa, who was so personable and offered us the "month-of" package for a very reasonable price. So to ease my mother's anxiety, I agreed to work with Lisa. I am SO happy that I did. Lisa was full of cute ideas, a positive spirit, a long list of contacts and a great deal of knowledge of what needed to be done and how to work with different people. Lisa was indispensable on the day of the wedding, I was able to sit back, relax and not worry about the minute-by-minute count of the day, because she was there making sure everything went on schedule. I really liked her assistant Amanda as well who was there before the ceremony to make sure the important people were where they were supposed to be.

Lisa Schulz "The Posh Planner" was worth every penny! We used her for day-of coordination, and she did an incredible job keeping everything moving, ensuring everything looked perfect, and making sure that we did not worry about anything for a second! She was wonderful.

Terry Kaye, with "The Posh Planner," was our Wedding Planner for our June 20th wedding in Middleburg, Va. To say the very least, Terry is THE best Events specialist/coordinator I have ever worked with, and I've worked with several in my ten years in the Marketing profession. She is extremely organized, has fantastic ideas, super flexible, a lovely personality (was wonderful with our guests, wedding party, family, etc) - I could go on and on. A real TOP TEN! Terry Kaye really enjoys her job and it shines thru in her work. I would recommend her over and over again! She knows how to get the job done and make everything appear seamless....I am so thankful she was there on our special day!

Lisa stopped at nothing to make sure that everything details and request was met. She had innovate ideas and applied our quirky ones. And some how, she found a way to keep us in budget. When the day arrived, we didn't have to lift a finger. Lisa and her superhuman team did everything from placing the veil in my hair to decorating the honeymoon suite. While most weddings run off schedule, ours didn't. From the hair salon, to the chapel, to the reception, Lisa hit every mark. Our family and friends were amazed. There were no worries, no tears, and best of all no one came to us with any problems. Lisa handled everyone: the photographer, the videographer, the hotel personnel, the caters, the band, and the guests. We used the full service package, and it was worth every penny. In September of 2008, Matt & I met with Lisa Schultz and hit it off famously. We signed a contract for May 16, 2009 and sent her $1,000. That's pretty much when the email traffic stopped. Within a month, our ceremony/reception informed us they had double booked us. Of course I was in a panic. Lisa was no help at all. I found another place no thanks to her and had to change the date of my wedding to May 24, 2009. Lisa would not give me even a partial refund. So for a month of no help what so ever, she got $1,000 of my money. June 8 update: I've already been contacted as a result of this review. Turns out Lisa has done this more than once.

I had a great experience working with the Posh Planner. We were on a tight budget and they really helped us cut costs on certain things so we could get the band we wanted (which was most important to us). We also had more people RSVP than expected so they suggested that we do a mix of seating styles--some sit down and some cocktail tables for people to stand up--it worked out great and so many people told me it was the best wedding they've ever been too! I also really appreciate Lisa's help keeping me calm throughout the planning process which could have been more stressful because of my split family, but she was so professional and diplomatic when it came to dealing with my mom, stepdad, dad, stepmom, etc--I couldn't have asked for a better wedding planner!

Lisa "Posh Planner" was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. She was always friendly and timely. Her suggestions and contacts were fantastic. Lisa did a wonderful job adhering to our budget. Everything was beautiful. From the florist, the table settings, to the photographer our guests are still talking about our beautiful wedding. Approximately a month before the wedding she became aware of an issue with photographer and she had a solution before she presented us with the problem. We would recommend Lisa with out any reservations.

Lisa (The Posh Planner) was an essential part of our wedding preparations and wedding day. We had to plan our wedding in a very short amount of time (3-4 months) and we could not have pulled it off without Lisa. She was involved in every step, providing first rate service and support for our decisions. She found the most amazing venue, caterer, photographer, florist, and rentals in less than a month…and best of all; they were all UNDER our budget! We had the wedding of our dreams, like something you would see on TV! Her ideas on decorations and layout were impeccable. Our friends are still talking about how beautiful everything looked and how the entire day went off without a hitch. Most of our married friends spoke of at least one or two mishaps on their wedding day…we did not have any thanks to Lisa. I have, and will continue to, refer her to every bride I come in contact with!

Lisa was a godsend! She handled each and every detail with style and grace. I could not have made it through this process without her! My wedding day was amazing and I know that Lisa was an integral part of that. Everything was smooth and professional. It has been three years and I still have people that were there that day comment on how fabulous my wedding was. I cannot begin to thank Lisa enough for her dedication and kindness. I would recommend her services to anyone!

When a wedding runs smoothly and on-time, no one notices why. It's my experience that most of the time it's because a professional wedding planner is in the wings taking care of all of the little unforseen "hicups" that tend to happen on the wedding day. Your guests notice when things don't go as planned, and again, that's usually when there is no professional planner on site. What a difference it makes when Lisa is taking care of everything behind the scenes. I highly recommend The Posh Planner for event planning and design.
