Postlewait's Country Weddings

I can't recommend this place enough. It is a family run business that treats you like you are a part of their family. They truly do everything in their power to make sure your day is perfect. The grounds are well maintained and beautiful. Carolyn is a perfectionist and insists that everything looks its best. For everything that is included in the price you won't find a better place.

We had our reception at Postlewait's! It was beautiful! We also had Carolyn do our flowers through Postlewait's, which was the best decision we could have made. I had SO MANY compliments on how beautiful the reception was. I wasn't super excited about having the reception so far from the Portland area at first, but I fell in love with the beauty of this place! You have to see it to believe it! I highly recommend this location!

Beautiful place for an outside wedding. They just put in bathrooms so its even better. Its great for outdoor weddings, they have so many flowers around the property and on a clear day you can see mt hood in the background. There is a little salon that is the bar area and there is a big barn area that is lovely too for if it rains everything can be moved inside. The girl who sets up the chairs and tables is a perfectionist and she did awesome. Also jackie responded to all my emails and questions promptly and she was super nice to talk with each time I needed to set up a meeting. The Bridal lounge area is really cute and provides enough space for any size wedding party.

Its a lovely place to get married, really great for our outside wedding-I couldn't have had a more beautiful wedding.

This is an AMAZING place to get married. The Postlewait family is very friendly and were a delight to work with! Every time I sent a question via email Jackie would respond pretty quickly. When we had issues with the tables, she troubleshooted and gave me alternative options. I had a perfect wedding at the perfect place. The only thing I was hesitant about booking this venue for was because of the distance from Portland, and the only date that was available was later than I originally planned and a Friday. Both turned out to be not an issue at all and totally worth the amazing place! There are lots of outdoor choices for the ceremony or reception, as well as an indoor area too. My only advice is to book early!! This place is bound to fill up quick once the word gets out. It's a gem in the middle of nowhere. :)

We got married here last summer and had a wonderful time. This is an absolutely gorgeous setting. The grounds are top notch and I cannot imagine a better place to get married at any price. The park area is very well maintained and the kitchen area and bathrooms were very clean. The grounds have room for even the largest of weddings. One thing I especially liked is that we were not forced to buy their own alcohol or catering at an inflated price, we were free to choose our own services for these items. This is a family run business and the owners treat you like a relative and make this a very special day. The father was especially helpful with everything that we asked. The only problems we encountered were from the young girl that showed us the property and scheduled our wedding. She was very curt and seemed like she was in a hurry to get us to leave. We spoke with her several times from the initial meeting up to the day before our wedding, she always seemed to be abrupt and in a hurry. If you have a chance talk to Gary who is the owner of the place, he is always good natured and will bend over backwards to help you out. I would recommend this place to anybody who wants to have a beautiful outdoor wedding

Very beautiful site. It was perfect for the type of wedding I wanted. The landscape is gorgeous, green and has a rustic country charm. The flowers they plant on the grounds add a lovely touch to the lush green. Our photos turned out beautiful and there were so many great spots to shoot; the saloon, creek, bridge, trellis, trees...etc. I loved this place and they were very professional.

We love performing at PW! It has everything a bride could want and then some. A beautiful outdoor setting along with a great indoor facility incase the NW weather forces the event inside. You can't go wrong planning your wedding there. We are proud to be one of their preferred vendors!
