Powerstation Events

I originally heard about David Rossi through my brother, who got married 5 years ago. I remember David so well, as he was an awesome DJ. He is personable and funny and is easy to work with. He respects your requets. He had people out on the dance floor from the very first song all the way through the end of the night. David responds to your e-mails and was able to send us our song edits so that we could hear them before the wedding. He is very thorough and has done an amazing job for many years. If you are in doubt about who to hire to DJ your wedding, David Rossi at POWERSTATION EVENTS is the perfect choice!

We also used POWERSTATION EVENTS to book our string quartet. I was able to e-mail one of ladies in the quartet. I told her how nervous I was to have the quartet because to me, it was like having a huge concert without having a dress rehearsal. She assured me that they have done this many times before. And boy was she right! I was soooo impressed with the beautiful music that they played during our ceremony. They were also able to play the regular Catholic Mass music, such as Halleljuah etc. It was absolutely perfect and I couldn't have ask for more amazing ceremony music. It was so worth the money to have the quartet. I am a string player myself, so I was very very impressed with the quality of this quartet. I do not like the organ, but I love orchestral music. They honored all of my music requests and it was a really nice touch to the wedding ceremony.

We worked with Rich at Powerstation Events and he was great! Rich was professional, provided outstanding service and was super flexible. Not only was Rich the DJ for our wedding but he also connected us with Judy T... a talented artist who created a very special and unique mural for our wedding day! :)

We used PowerStation at the Barns at Wesleyan Hills for our wedding. Top to bottom, absolutely fantastic. In particular, Rich Gumpert was just great. He's the perfect wedding DJ, and beyond that, he found us the perfect artist for one of our non-traditional guest activities. Rich did an awesome job at our wedding. We had given him a list of songs to play and he did an excellent job of picking additional music that fit right into what we liked. He actually played a lot of songs I wished I had put on the list originally. Our dance floor was packed the whole night. There were moments that the energy was at such a high that I didn't think it could possibly go up, but somehow he figured out ways to make that happen. We were incredibly pleased and would highly recommend Rich at Powerstation.

DJ: Kevin was fabulous- he kept the crowd happy and entertained all night... he was so great that i want to plan another party so we can use him again.
Uplighting: made the room look incredible. great info and suggestions from the staff as to how much to use etc etc etc.

Our DJ was Charlie. He did a wonderful job of keeping the music moving and really helping with the flow of the evening. Many guests commented on what a great job he had done. They appreciated when Charlie walked around the tables asking the guests what type of music they would like to hear. Charlie honored all of our requests and could not have done a better job. Our wedding was perfect and Charlie was definitely one of the reasons why.

I gave these guys 5 stars all around. Charlie was our DJ and he set a tone that was completely US at our reception. We met with him a couple weeks before to go over songs we wanted, songs we didn't want played etc. He was very friendly and helped us shape how the reception was going to go. The day of was amazing. Everyone had a blast dancing, the music was just right. I'd recommend Powerstation to any couple looking for friendly professionals who will make their wedding reception memorable and fun!

Rich was our DJ and he was AMAZING! He had everyone dancing until the end of the night, which is exactly what we had asked for. His knowledge base for music was also quite impressive. When he presented to the consultation, as well as our final meeting, we had a general idea of what music we'd like played, but needed some help with final decisions. All of his suggestions were things we went with and the song choices he presented us with were perfect for us, and our wedding venue.

We had the most amazing experience with Rich from Powerstation. From the moment we met him for our first consultation, we fell in love :) Rich is so friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and 100% focused on catering to our interests and desires in terms of music selection. His low-key yet uber-attentive style made our reception perfect. My husband and I both agree that hands-down, Rich and his incredible DJ-ing made our night and our guests' night. The administrative staff we worked with was also very professional and attentive. We did not have to worry or think about anything. Everything was taken care of. They provided us with paperwork to complete so that Rich would know our style of music and requests, these were awesome!
Our guests and my husband and I never left the dance floor the entire time music was playing and this was my #1 dream for our night, that people would just love the music and want to dance, and dance we did! We will never forget Rich's kindness, and attention to details, and professionalism. We loved his calm demeanor and his care to ensure we were having a great time and that the music playing and/or request was ok with us. He very thoughtfully "dedicated" a song to our niece who was waiting to hear her request, "The Chicken Dance". This small act meant the world to her and thus, to us. We highly, highly recommend him. And, I am sure, given our experiences with Rich, that all Powerstation DJ's are similar in expertise.

Gerald was our DJ...there aren't enough words to describe how perfect he was for our wedding. He has a great voice, so the introduction of the wedding party was awesome. He played all the right music and people danced the while night without any corny gimmicks...he somehow kept it both classy but really fun, which can be a tough balance to strike. He also really did more than DJ as he was observant of other things he should say/do...really awesome service.

We got married on October 27, 2012 and Todd from Powerstation was our DJ. We selected Todd after our first consultation. Me, my now husband, and 9 year old stepson all went to meet with Todd and after half an hour, we had unanimous consent that this guy had to be our DJ! I was clear that I wanted the dance floor hopping and Todd did not let us down. He had a great selection of music and listened so well to our wants and don't wants. Plus, he has a great sense of humor and brought a lot of smiles to the dance floor :) I couldn't be more pleased to recommend Powerstation. So professional and fun - a great combo!!

We used Power Station for our wedding reception and felt our DJ, Dave, did a great job. My fiancé and I really had no idea what we were looking for in our reception entertainment. Dave helped us figure out what would work best, catered to our slightly older crowd and was simply funny, played great music and was interactive. I would recommend Powerstation (especially Dave) to any bride.

We LOVE Powerstation! Heather Colt was our photographer and Charlie Saccavino was our DJ and we would hire both of them again in a heartbeat…Heather is absolutely amazing! She wasn’t just a fantastic photographer but became a friend as well. Throughout everything she was incredibly professional, attentive, and made us feel very comfortable. Heather listened to exactly what we wanted and we are incredibly happy with ALL of our beautiful photos. It was a pleasure to have her photograph our wedding. We had so much fun working with her and I can’t wait to find another reason to work with her again in the future. I also recommend doing an engagement session with her. This gave us an opportunity to get to know her/her to get to know us, get comfortable being photographed/posing…and it was fun (we did ours at a winery – which I also recommend doing – for the wine and scenery). Now onto our dj..Charlie was excellent! We created a list of songs we liked/wanted to be played and from there he created our wedding playlist based on our eclectic style of 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and a ton of current music to dance to, and helped us select various songs for our spotlights. We picked out our first dance song, which we loved – until he found us a rare version of the song that we fell in love with even more and used instead. It was all of these little things throughout the process that made it even more meaningful for us. Charlie was very professional and a pleasure to work with. Many of our guests (including our parents) went on and on about how much they loved the music that was played. Everyone danced the entire time. Powerstation is very reasonable with their pricing for the excellent services they provide. They were flexible and customized our package based on our needs. Thank you Powerstation, especially Heather and Charlie!...

DJ Kevin was amazing!!!!! Kept coming up to me during the night and making sure everything was going the way I wanted It to!! Super nice guy!

We had Jon March as our DJ. He was absolutely the best DJ we could have ever picked. He was very knowledgeable and entertaining. He was very flexible as we had to make some very last minute changes. We were also really impressed that he wanted to go over all the people's names to make sure he pronounced them correctly. He also noted my nieces and nephews in the wedding party and made that special connection when he announced them.

Powerstation matched me up with David Rossi for my DJ and he couldn’t have been more perfect! David made my husband’s side of the family feel very comfortable and the fact that he is bilingual was a tremendous benefit. David was such a pleasure to work with and loads of fun from the beginning to the end. I commend him for his patience, especially because I am extremely particular when it comes to my music. Nevertheless, he understood exactly where I was coming from. I had a very eclectic range of music and he managed to pull everything together and make it flow seamlessly. Countless amounts of guests approached me to compliment David’s abilities, as he was comical, entertaining and personable. Also, the amber uplighting that we had was gorgeous and complimented the New Haven Lawn Club’s ballroom beautifully! Thank you David for making our wedding a blast!

Working with Powerstation Events was very easy. They were helpful in answering my questions, had good ideas and were familiar with Eolia Mansion at Harkness so knew the "in's and out's" of the venue. Contract and invoicing was organized and they were very responsive to my emails.

Heather from Powerstation was the first photographer we met. It's a shame that we spent so much time after our introduction looking at other vendors as well, because my (now) wife and I knew we loved Heather right from the start. She was extremely personable, and emotionally dove into our wedding planning immediately into our first conversation. I remember us leaving the Powerstation building feeling excited and energized. Heather had that effect on us every time we saw her. It was almost comical that after each vendor we visited during our marathon of research, Alyssa (my wife) would look at me and whisper "She/he was nice, but she/he wasn't Heather". And I completely agreed.

Heather's personality easily carried over into her work on the wedding day. She (and her assistant Krista) were meticulous in their determination to grab the perfect shot that captured all the emotion of that moment. Her creativity was excellent, and she leveraged the most out of each shot environment. Her ideas on the first look and a "grand exit" at the chapel were phenomenal. I was particularly impressed with her ability to command a group of boisterous groomsmen almost effortlessly with some hilarity and wit (which I can assure you was not a generally easy task).

Heather and Krista managed to capture every moment and every emotion, with almost no recognition of their presence by the guests. I'm still not sure how they did it. We were so happy we were able to have Heather available for our wedding day - it was one of the best decisions we made through the entire process. If you're like us, you'll probably be very zealous in your search for the perfect photographer. Our only advice is that you take the time to meet with Heather and see some of her work. We are pretty confident you'll fall in love with her as quickly as we did.

We used Chris for our wedding this past weekend. Chris and my husband bonded immediately, so I knew that Chris was not going to let our wedding be anything less than amazing. We spent hours chatting with Chris, and my husband and I really feel like Chris took the time to get to know us. We had actually developed some "inside jokes" that managed to work their way into our reception. In the days leading up to the wedding, Powerstation employees were on the phone double checking every detail, and things went off without a hitch.
My wedding was perfect!

I would definitely recommend Powerstation to anyone for their wedding or big event. All the professionals helped my wedding run smoothly which allowed me and my husband to focus on our guests and having fun. I received so many great comments about the wedding. A few people said it was the best wedding they've been too and I know Powerstation had a big part in that.

We used PowerStation for a day of coordinator to help us set up an morning ceremony. We originally requested quotes on day of coordination, AV set up, and ceremony music, but the quote was outside our budget. To their credit, PowerStation worked with us to help us get what we really needed (someone to schlep everything to the site and do the decorating and setup) within a price range that worked for us. Some of their services seemed overpriced, but they were willing to negotiate to some degree.

Amanda was great to work with, she had ideas about ways to make the space more inviting and usable, met with me at the venue to talk it through, and had a great attitude despite the amount of boxes, plants, and lawn games we managed to fit into the SUV.

It was such a relief not to worry about how everything was going to look, and I knew that PowerStation had a lot more experience event planning than I did. Depending on your budget, it might be worth it to use professionals rather than do it...

Pam Moan from Powerstation was excellent the night of our wedding! We had guests telling us how wonderful she was days after the wedding, itching to see the pictures. Our guests kept saying, "she was everywhere!" My husband and I, along with our guests, agreed she was fun, exciting, happy and extremely talented and professional. We could not have picked anyone better. She did an array of shots and dealt with rainy conditions. She was creative with her own shots and allowed my husband and I to choose any shots we wanted. We cannot say enough wonderful things about Pam- talented, professional, experienced and a great person!

We had David as our DJ. He was fantastic. Everyone loved him. I got so many comments from people after the wedding telling me how great he was and not tacky or cheesy at all. He was one of our favorite vendors. He just has the perfect personality for a DJ and you can tell that he really loves what he does. He also really listened to what we wanted and our concerns, and made sure that they were no longer our concerns, but his. This made our wedding day a lot less stressful. Powerstation was great to work with as a company too for contract/payment/information purposes. We were usually in contact with Todd, who was super responsive and helpful. We would definitely recommend Powerstation and David.

PowerStation is the best and Rich is the greatest DJ! Even when the lights went out due to electrical problems at the park, he kept his cool! He helped to make this a very enjoyable event! And he was very flexible, including some last minute requests for SALSA! Thank you from the mother of the bride!

We used Rich (DJ) and Heather (photographer) for our June 8th wedding and couldn't be happier with our choice. Rich was able to take a few suggestions from a meeting before the event and turn that into the perfect music selection throughout the entire night. There were times I thought the dance floor was too small because it was so packed out there. We had so many people that danced the night away that there were a actually a few (minor) injuries of some of our older guests. As for Heather, she was a pleasure to work and has a great eye for capturing events in both standard and artistic ways. After the ceremony, we hardly even knew she was there taking pictures, she blended right into the dance floor and crowd as if she was a good friend snapping a few shots. Both were awesome and we couldn't have asked for a better team!

Dave Salonia exceeded all of our expectations. His sheer enthusiasm and passion for what he does shines through from beginning to end. He came extremely well prepared and even spoke a few lines in a foreign language for the group of visiting guests! We really relied on his 20 years plus experience in terms of knowing what works and what doesn't to get the crowd dancing. We had a very mixed group of young and old. All I can say is this; almost everyone was dancing from the minute the music began until the final song. I can't keep track of how many guests said it was the best wedding they ever attended and I like to believe a big part of that was down to Dave, his professionalism, expertise and love of music. Book him now before someone else does!

The staff at powerstation were professional and listened to what we wanted. They even made a last minute change to accommodate our wishes. The reception went off without a hitch!

Powerstation was absolutely amazing! We used them for DJ, photography and videography, which was really helpful in the planning process. Heather is the best! She took some beautiful photos and was really great to work with. I think of her as our second wedding coordinator because she had some really great ideas for pictures and structuring the overall event. Rich was the best DJ I've ever seen and all of our guests keep telling us how amazing the DJ was. He listened to what we wanted in terms of music and once he got our guests up dancing, he kept them up dancing the whole night! The videography was perfect too. The video we got was so beautiful and well put together. It's like a long movie trailer of our entire day. I keep smiling, laughing and crying every time I watch it! I didn't even realize Kevin got all of the amazing shots that he did because I didn't even notice him during all the important times of the wedding (like the ceremony, first dance, cake cutting, etc.) We also got lighting through Powerstation and it looked so great! We had wireless lights all around the room it added such a nice touch to the whole evening. Working with Powerstation has been amazing and I highly recommend them!

We are still getting rave reviews about the energy of our wedding and how much fun everyone had dancing. We went into the DJ search knowing that music would play a key role in the overall experience our guests would have at our wedding. As we reflect back on the day, we could not have planned a better DJ/MC of our "party". Charlie from Powerstation listened to our requests and took the time to choose music that truly reflected who my wife and I are and what we wanted our day to be like.
From beginning to end, Charlie conducted himself with professionalism and expertise. He understood what we were looking for in our day and anytime we had gaps to fill, Charlie was always eager to make our music selection unique. We knew we selected the right company when we looked across the dance floor and witnessed everyone from grandparents to kids up on the dance floor smiling from ear to ear.

Our photographer was amazing, she was quick, professional and very creative. We were very impressed.Our DJ played all the music we requested.

From our first meeting with our DJ, Todd we knew that he would make our wedding night great. He was funny, upbeat and very professional. I have gotten so many compliments from my friends and also my parents friends that he played a perfect mix of music. I guess the best compliment to Todd would be that every wedding photo the all the guests were out on the dance floor! Even my grandmother enjoyed herself fully. We also rented from Powerstation purple room lighting, which added to the atmosphere and pulled in our theme color perfectly.
I highly recommend Powerstation for extremely professional service. The best part is that it’s a large company and if for some unforeseen event the dj can’t make it they have another backup one on call and he would have all your details of the info and music requests. This added feature helps put your mind at ease that it will be a great night. A good dj equals a fun wedding where everyone enjoys themselves. Thanks...

We had a great time and having Jon March as our DJ helped. My husband is a music enthusiast and Jon played all the music that he wanted and kept the people on the dance floor.

Powerstation provided the mic services for our ceremony, musicians for the ceremony, and dj services for the reception. We worked with Rich and he was very knowledgable and confident and everything turned out really nice. We gave fairly loose suggestions for our reception music and we thought he did a great job of catering to our mixed age audience and getting everyone out on the dance floor. He checked in with us a couple of times to make sure everything was to our liking and always catered to our requests.

Dave Salonia from Powerstation was the DJ at my wedding and I couldn't thank him enough. He was amazing!! He played exactly what I asked and knew exactly what else to play to keep the party going. The dance floor was packed all night long! He even got out on the dance floor himself and taught my family and friends different types of dances. By the end of the night all my guests told me how great he was. Two of my friends are also going to use him for their upcoming weddings! He's very professional, flexible and overall a really nice guy. I highly suggest you use him for your special day!!

Powerstation Events is the place to go if you want the best for your wedding. They are professional, reliable and very intent on making sure the customer is happy. Rich was our DJ and he was absolutely great. Our guests had such a great time. Our videographer AJ seemed to be everywhere at just the right times. I cannot wait to see everything when we get our DVD. And last but certainly not least, Susan was our photographer. She was AMAZING. Not only does she take beautiful pictures, but she interacted with my family and even helped everyone with their pins and boutonnieres! I HIGHLY recommend this vendor for any bride!

Rich Gumpert was a amazing DJ. I highly recommend Powerstation Events. We had met with music in motion as well, before picking a DJ. I'm so happy we went with Powerstation. They were friendly and gave us options of more than one DJ. They try to pick a DJ according to what you are looking for. Rich was our exact match. He keep the party going and everyone loved the music. He also did our ceremony music as well. It was just amazing. If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing!!

Amanda did our lighting as well for us, she did a great job. Lighting helps to set the mood and everything was beautiful.

We had Dave S. DJ at our wedding and he was absolutely fantastic! He was mindful of our music selections but also had the guests engaged the whole time. At one point my entire wedding reception was dancing, jumping up and down having a blast- it was awesome! I would definitely recommend Powerstation Events to others who are looking for a DJ!

We hired Dave Salonia from PowerStation. We had a great experience with Dave at our 7/30/2011 reception at Saybrook Pointe Inn in Old Saybrook, CT. Dave was very professional, we picked a lot of songs and he really tried to play them all. We just watched our wedding video over the weekend and people danced from before dinner until the party ended non-stop and we even ran out of room on the dance floor. Would recommend him for sure. We used Kristen Young for our wedding photographer, and she was absolutely incredible. Her shots were absolutely gorgeous! Photography is expensive, but the memories Kristen captured are worth every cent!

We used Dave Salonia from Powerstation for our wedding anniversary party (formal black-tie event at a wedding reception venue, very much like a wedding in terms of flow, toast, dance, etc.) and he was amazing! He is polite, pleasant, friendly, respectful, and professional. He was also so responsive to the guests in terms of requests, motivating people to dance, etc. He played a great mix of music to appeal to all ages. He arrived early, dressed in a tux, with a smile. He is honestly the best DJ we have ever seen. I would highly recommend him. So many of our guests told us that it was the best party they had ever been to. Everyone was on the dance floor and had a great time. Nobody wanted the party to end. I cannot say enough great things about Dave Salonia and Powerstation. Dave made our event such a success.

Everyone danced all night at my wedding. Todd did everything we asked for and the night was a complete success!

Worst choice I made for my wedding day, don't make the same mistake I did.

So the "one little thing" that went wrong at our June 3, 2011 wedding was the DJ (that was hired 1 year prior to the wedding, with whom we had a signed contract and paid in full prior to the wedding, who also did a walk through 3 days before the wedding) "mixed up the dates" and did not show up. In the midst of my full blown panic attack, our caterer suggested we contact Powerstation, who just happens to have someone on staff for this type of catastrophe. Our hero of the night, Chris Vagnini, showed up just under one hour later (the reception was at Harkness State Park in Waterford, CT- at least an hour and 15 minute drive from Cheshire CT) and got right to work. He said to me "all I need to know is what kind of music you guys like"- I gave him a short list and an idea of the genre and he was awesome, right from the first song. I gave him the few "must haves"- our wedding song, father-daughter dance song, mother-son song, and grandparents dance- and he took care of the rest. Our guests made requests and Chris played them, which made everyone happy. He faded out any song that may have cleared the dance floor and made sure he had our guests dancing and enjoying themselves all night. Our guests had no idea that there was any DJ issue at all- it was just seamless! I told him that he saved our wedding and it was absolutely true- the music was awesome, he was professional and knew exactly what he was doing and he did an excellent job. Powerstation is amazing and I cannot thank them enough for truly saving our wedding! We should have hired them from the start!!

Powerstation was great!! We used them for a DJ, ceremony musician, uplighting, and our A/V needs.

Rich was our sales rep, and we also picked him to DJ our wedding. He was friendly, accommodating, and really knew exactly what we wanted from our music. He listened to us, asked about our styles, and put together a mix that kept our guests dancing all night.

Rich was also very helpful with our A/V needs - we had some slideshows that were shown during parent dances, and his suggestion of bringing in a big flat screen worked out perfectly. We also had them set up beautiful uplighting that brought a nice sense of warmth to our reception.

We wanted a classical guitarist for our ceremony who could then switch to a more jazz vibe for cocktail hour - and Powerstation delivered! Dave, our guitarist, did exactly what we wanted without much direction! He was professional, talented, and the guitar worked perfectly with our outdoor venue.

Overall I would absolutely recommend Powerstation!

rich @ powerstation events stepped in and saved the day. we were without a dj till about 1 month before the wedding and were panicked. we had two phone conversations with him between then and the wedding and on the day of, he was so on top of it! friendly, kind and really funny, he captured the vibe we were going for. everyone kept saying, this is my dream playlist. he adjusted when needed, listened to requests from guests, but ran them by us first ( per our request). he looked out for our wedding's best interest and totally delivered. thank you so much!

David Rossi was an amazing DJ. Not only did we work with David at the wedding, but he was also our dance instructor. We worked with David for 2 sessions for our first dance. He was an excellent dance instructor and helped us have an amazing first dance. He also kept the party going at the wedding. He had the whole crowd dancing the night away. Thank you David for helping us to have an amazing wedding!!

Dave Salonia, who had recently joined PowerStation, DJed our April 23 wedding and he was phenomenal! We were very picky about who we chose to DJ our wedding because we needed him for the ceremony and the reception. I was very careful to select someone with experience so that the focus would be on the wedding itself not miscued songs or speaker issues. When it came down to it, Dave was excellent! We told him exactly what we wanted with requested song lists, etc. but we told him what kind of atmosphere and vibe we wanted and he totally got it!!!

He never overpromised and he spent a lot of time on the phone with me making sure he understood exactly what was needed. He also came to our rehearsal, even though it was not in his contract. We really appreciated that kind gesture!

He was a great emcee, too, and never cheesy - which was very important to us. So many of our guests told us how much they enjoyed our DJ and most importantly: our party! The dance floor was packed all night - which was a request of ours. It was the best night ever and Dave helped it exceed our expectations.

Powerstation did a fantastic job providing DJ and photography services for our wedding. They are professional, proactive, and creative in every aspect of their work. I have absolutely no reservations in recommending them to anyone!

Our DJ was great. My husband and I got to pick which DJ from the group best fit our interests and what we were looking for as far as musical entertainment.

DJ: Mike Papper......amazing! He played our requested songs and his own style and kept all our guest on the dance floor all night! Pleasant, smooth voice made the night enjoyable. The volume of the music was perfect (we had a table of elderly guests closest to the DJ station and they were happy). He did an excellent job on our ceremony music and made our reception intro a night to remember. We would highly recommend Mike.

Photographer: Pam Moan.....was professional and courteous. She made great use of our time outside and kept the photos rolling so we could start the reception quickly. She turns invisible at the reception and gets great candid shots. The group shot of all the guests outside took quite a bit of coordinating but she got them all together for a great photo. Pam completed our entire "must have" photo list and took many other great shots. We highly recommend Pam.

I used the Powerstation Events for my ceremony music. They did a fabulous job. I thought the price was a little high, but from start to finish everyone was very professional.

We loved our DJ, Frank for our wedding. He was a lot of fun, but didn't take center stage, which is how we wanted it. He was very open to all of our music suggestions.

He was there early to set everything up, and was very communicative with us. Throughout the night, he would check in with us to see when we felt we were ready to move on to the cake cutting, or to start dancing for the night, etc.

My only complaint is that when planning our wedding, we ended up talking to about 4 or 5 different people, who then didn't pass messages on to each other. So we had to keep re-explaining our story and how we were planning this from out of state, etc. It would have been great to have planned it with Frank from the beginning.

But everything turned out great, and the music really made the night!

We asked for a party, we got a party. Todd Armstrong was an excellent DJ. He listened to us, gave us all of the music we wanted and more. We had some effect lighting that worked perfectly for our venue. To some the costs may appear to be pricey, but you really do get what you pay for. We were glad we extended our budget a little more to secure Todd and Powerstation because months later people are still talking about what a blast the entire evening was!

Powerstation was all set up and ready to go when we entered the reception. The music was great and everyone had a fun time dancing. Getting ahold of the dj ahead of time to discuss last minute details was difficult. It is important to make sure the dj understands what you want from him ahead of time as well. Our dj was a little more verbal than we had expected.

Charlie did a wonderful job, its a year later and Im still getting comments about how my reception flowed so smoothly and had the best music. He did a great job really listening to what type of music we wanted played and stayed in that genre all night. Everyone had a great time!

Very professional, and very helpful. My photographer made especially sure she had everyone for pictures since I have a large immediate family, and the videographer was behind the scenes, I barely noticed him taking the video. Very flexible, and very helpful. We forgot we had ordered an engagement photo to be taken, and the photographer called and said we could exchange it for extra time at the reception, which was excellent!

He was such a pleasure to work with. He is clearly very experienced and brings comfort and a good sense of humor to the process. He is also very creative and got some amazing photos. We recommend this photographer to anyone.I cannot say enough good things about this amazing photographer! She is so talented, she has such a kind heart, she is unobtrusive on your wedding day, yet able to get some of the most touching pictures .You'll see her website and know that those photos are the same quality you'll actually get on YOUR wedding day!

Powerstation did a nice job at our wedding. They provided us with a photographer, DJ and limo. They were all very professional. The only thing about the photography is that if you expect picutures of certain decorations or parts of the decor, you need to tell them exactly what to take a picture of. We did not end up with any close ups of any center pieces or the more elaborate decorations that were very time consuming to put together.

Our DJ Charlie was wonderful. He was easy to get along with and stuck to the music we requested to hear, while still putting his own spin on things to keep everyone on the dance floor. The dance floor was packed all night! Even my guests told me, "I kept wanting to go sit down or go to the bathroom, but another song would come on that I had to dance to." We were so happy with Charlie and powerstation events from start to finish. Thanks for making our night so memorable for all Charlie, YOU ROCK!

We used Charlie S for our wedding and he was PERFECT. We also got uplighting added to our package last minute and it was amazing! They were very good about communication and were easy to reach. Charlie helped us make a list of over 200 songs that he would choose from to play so it was great! He created a great atmosphere and people danced all night!

The music was fantastic. Dave is the best DJ. He also taught us our dance lessons which went well. All the A/V stuff, slideshow, monogram, etc. went without a hitch. We also hired a jazz trio and everyone enjoyed thier music during dinner.

Rich Gumpert did an excellent job as dj for our wedding. He played the songs we requested. Our guests had a great time on the dance floor. He worked well with our other vendors. We were very happy with him. Would recommend.

We could not have been happier w/ our DJ, Charlie Saccavino, from Powerstation Events. He was exactly what we were looking for. An experienced DJ that played a majority of the songs on the playlist we gave him but made sure not to be "too out there" w/ the crowd (my husband and I were not into participation dances, games, etc.). I loved everything about him! He was much less expensive than some of their other DJ's they offered but did such an exceptional job and is as classy as they come.

Charlie Saccavino was our DJ for the reception under a tent and also provided the music for our cermony on a beach - and he was great. Being that we were in an outdoor location for our entire wedding, the sound quality was amazing. We chose Charlie because we liked his personality and approach and he worked with us to create a playlist that was totally "us". Guests loved the music choices, too. He read the crowd and everyone, including us, had a great time. He fit right in with our group. Should we have another opportunity that calls for a DJ, we would definitely call Charlie!

Charlie was our DJ and he was awesome! He took our recommendations and created a play list that was totally us. He engaged the guests in a fun, not obnoxious way. He was a gem. I would totally recommend their services.

Powerstation did a great job as our DJ, our videographer and our ceremony music. The only complaints I have is that the microphone that was to be used for readings during our ceremony was not set up properly, so it was not able to be used. Therefore, our two readers had to stand next to our JP to be heard through her microphone. It was awkward both during the ceremony and in the pictures. Also, the DJ mis-pronounced the last names of my sister and father when announcing them into the reception (but pronounced the same last name correctly when announcing in my other sister and brother.) The video of our wedding was nothing short of spectacular. And the ceremony music was perfect.

Charlie, our DJ, was great. He was able to adjust the music to what got the crowd going. He didn't just stick to the playlist when people weren't dancing. Everyone enjoyed the music. He also did our ceremony music and did a great job. We would definitely recommend Charlie and Powerstation to all of our friends.

Pam did a great job with the pictures. She was very friendly and professional. She took a lot of candid pictures. We wish she would have taken more posed pictures of my husband and I but we didn't request them so it was partly our fault.

Everyone there was attentive to what I wanted as part of my wedding. I would highly recommend the photography and DJ.

I booked Powerstation for my wedding for DJ, videography and ceremony music. The DJ (Dave S) and the three-piece classical music set (who played during my ceremony) were wonderful, and I'd highly recommend them for your wedding. The ceremony music was beautiful, and the DJ played awesome music and fulfilled all of my requests.

The only reason my review isn't completely glowing is because of some problems I encountered with the videography. In the end, it all turned out alright, and my video is beautiful. But there were some miscommunications on the part of Powerstation, and errors were made on my video; it had to be redone, and the technicians weren't very professional or responsive.

Otherwise, I was pretty satisfied with Powerstation, and I would consider using their DJs and/or musicians for another event assuming.

David was fantastic. Very attentive to everything my husband and i did (and didn't) want at our reception. He was lively and personable, and played music that got everyone dancing. We had many people come up to us that day, and afterwards to comment on what a fun party it was, and how great the dj was. I would (and have) recommend Powerstation to anyone looking for a dj.

Powerstation...should be renamed...Power House because they are!!! ;) They are super! You can't believe the couples who go coo coo over them! :) They are always in the groove and will keep your wedding hoppin'. ;)
