Jen was immensely helpful and professional. She met with me and let me choose exactly what I wanted as far as flowers and centerpieces were concerned, and she made it happen exactly as I wanted. My bridal bouquet and the bridesmaids bouquets were beautiful! She helped to make my wedding day simply perfect! And the price was much less than what others would have charged.

Since I had a winter wedding we had alot of last minute additions (about a week or two prior), due to the weather cooperating! We had people that decided to show up after all so, we needed to order flowers/corsages for them. This was never an issue and we were able to get all of the flowers in and they looked wonderful!! Also, I chose Prairie Crocus Design due to the cost. I was trying to keep costs of certain things down for the wedding and flowers was one of those. I expressed I wanted to stay away from alot of roses, etc and that was never an issue. The bouquets that were put together were great and only myself and the wedding party knew what they really cost!

Jen was great to work with!She was very professional and personal, willing to continue to work with me to ensure that the final product was what I wanted. She arrived early the day of the wedding and spent a lot of time with the flower decor making it beautiful.I would recommend her to anyone needing flowers for weddings or any other decor.

I love flowers, and there are always fresh flowers in our apartment. I had made the decision early on that even though Hearthwood would be taking care of the flowers for the ceremony, I wanted to bring my own bouquet for the reception. I wanted my bouquet to be beautiful, and not something generic. I knew of Prairie Crocus because they had been listed in the Pioneer Press for being an organic florist that works with seasonal and local flowers. My bouquet was beautiful, and it was really easy bringing it up on Friday night.

Everything was absolutely beautiful. I am SO glad that we did all of our flowers through you. We are still receiving comments about how unique and beautiful they all were. It was everything I had hoped for...and EVEN more!!

We had picked centerpieces through the hotel, which were these flute vases that would hold floating candles, but I wanted to have a bouquet for my bridesmaids and myself, and I also wanted Alex and the best man to have boutonnières. I went with Prairies Crocus because I felt very comfortable talking with Jen, who works there, about what I wanted my flowers to look like, and she was really great about coming up with suggestions of what would work, and what flowers would be in season. Part of the creation included ribbons, which were beautiful, and the flowers were gorgeous as well. It was fun because she also explained how I should hold the flowers so they look the best in the pictures. I liked it also that Alex had a mini version of my bouquet as a boutonniere, and that the simple bouquets of the bridesmaids matched the boutonnières of the best man.

Prairie Crocus Designs was one of the best vendors I have ever worked with. They were always friendly, helpful, flexible and of course made my wedding one of the most beautiful weddings. I would definitely recommend Prairie Crocus Design to anyone, you receive such a great value for your cost.

Jen went above and beyond my expectations. She is so pleasant to work with. I didn't know what I wanted and she was great at asking questions to figure out what kinds of flowers I was drawn to and then we tweaked the flowers until they were within my budget. There was no pressure to spend large amounts of money. Jen delivered all the flowers to our locations and helped pin all the boutonnieres and corsages onto our parents/grandparents and groomsmen (26 people total!!!)

Jen was great. She went above and beyond for us. She delivered other center pieces that she didn't provide along with all the fixins and containers for our candy bar to our venue which was such a huge help. The floweres were gorgeous and she paid so much attention to detail. She placed little gems on each of the bridesmaids and my bouquet (that was a pleasant little surprise). She also wired fishing flies onto each of the men's bouteniers (she does great things with wire). The flowers are still alive and looking great 4 days after the wedding.Jen does a great job of helping you figure out what you like, even if you don't give her much to go on. She has a great eye for design and is very artistic and creative...I would recommend her to anyone!

she was very flexible with the cost, and her time. everything was setup on time, and just like we wanted it. I got a lot of compliments from guests and friends who were at the wedding. Even those who weren't at the wedding complimented me on the flowers in our wedding pictures. I will definitely recommend her to anyone who needs a florist.

If you had an "ideal" vendor in mind, then Prairie Crocus Design far exceeds any possible expectations you may have had. The floral artist is the definition of talent, flexibility, and quality. We had such a pleasurable experience working long distance (wedding in MN, but live in OH) with Prairie Crocus Design. Amidst all the stress of wedding planning, we truly found comfort with our floral arrangements and never once felt nervous or questioned whether or not our floral arrangements would be spectacular. Truthfully, the Prairie Crocus Design experience is everything but short of amazing.
