A lovely setting, but the facility is not equipped to handle summer heat nor accessibility issues. Rustic is an understatement. A mid summer reception was embarassingly sweltering with guests soaked to the skin from the lack of properly functioning air conditioning. Bathroom and kitchen are minimal. Spider webs and goose droppings were the final touch. Bride Beware!

Your help with the planning, attention to details, and your staff (Yourself, Brittany and your Mom) enabled us to have a wonderful venue. I've had the good fortune to photograph many weddings at the Prallsville Mills in Stockton, NJ. I love working there because of the gorgeous historic backdrop of the Mills' rustic buildings, the sunsets over the river and canal, and the wonderful authentic ambiance of the structures.
Events at the Mills are always a treat for me because of the potential for lovely images, but more than that, the warm atmosphere of the Mills staff and selected vendors. Clients that book the Mills, their families and friends, are in for a treat when a special event is hosted...

Prallsville Mills is one of best unique Historic Venues in the area. It's a great value and for those who want a unique location for their wedding it's a great find. A popular favorite for many of our brides!
About Prallsville Mills
The Mill also maintains a rich history and is the location for many art, quilt and antique shows throughout the year. As well as many local fundraising functions.
The Prallsville Mills provides Indoor Seating to accommodate 150 people maximum. Outdoor Seating under a separately rented tent (through Brillman’s) can accommodate 225 people. Although the venue is historic, it is heated on the main and upper level and provides air conditioning on the main level for the warmer Summer months.
Your traditional 10 hour rental period provides access to the Mill, the Grainery, Kitchen and Powder Rooms. The Mill provides you with a palette for you to paint the event of your dreams. Providing many decorating opportunities, far more than traditional ballroom or facilities. You can select your caterer from an approved listing or feel free to choose another caterer, see our Conditions of Use for specific rules or call 215-860-7600. Available for Weekday or Weekend Events.
