Prego Ristoranti was fabulous and SO flexible! They let me bring in my own dessert, replaced their dessert with an appetizer course, added a surprise guest less than 24 hours before my event, and didn't charge me when one guest didn't make it. Carmen's email sometimes junks legitimate emails, so it's best to talk to her on the phone or in person. Everything was lovely and Carmen even lent us her own personal champange flutes and cake cutting set. It was fabulous!
The food was very delicious, and the presentation made it seem much more expensive than what it actually costed. They were not very flexible with the menu, and they were definitely not okay with any form of negotiation. For example, we couldn't get them to give a discount when we chose only one of their desserts to be our wedding cake while the original buffet menu had six dessert choices for our guests. Also I was told afterward that the event planner yelled at some of our guests when they started grabbing from the cake tower thinking that it was part of the buffet (though it was her mistake to not follow our instructions and decide to set up that tower so close to the appetizers). A week after the reception we tried to contact her to pick up some leftover servewares and she became really rude and unresponsive. We ended up having to deal with the manager to pick up our supplies. I'd always had a feeling that she was looking down on us ever since we requested to book the entire restaurant when we had only 1+ the cut off # of guests (say it requires 150 for the whole restaurant, we had 151).
