Dan did a fantastic job from start to finish at our wedding. He spent time getting to know us and our personalities and tastes in music. When we asked if he could incorporate some Vietnamese songs, he went out of his way to look for and add our requests to his playlist. His music selections for cocktail hour, dinner, and then dancing at the end of the night were all perfect. In addition, his guidance and recommendations on planning our night was crucial. He was professional and was praised by everyone at our reception. The dance floor was packed – his music even got the old Vietnamese folks out on the dance floor!

We were initially interested in uplighting that he offers, but were impressed when he suggested not doing it based on prior experiences at the same venue. We loved that he wasn’t looking for the extra cash but was more interested making sure things looked nice.

I attended a wedding where the DJ was a nightmare. I was going to be very particular about who I was going to choose to be a DJ. Some people thought I was going over the top interviewing numerous DJ's but I wanted the best. Christian from Premier DJ's did an outstanding job at our wedding! He was very professional and flexible when we had to meet up with him. The music ran very smoothly and we received many complements from our guests. I would highly recommend him to anyone! If you want the best Christian is the way to go.

They were the most amazing DJ one could ask for. They kept the party going. They handle all the transitions and staff so we didn't have to worry. They also provided lighting for the whole venue just to add those special touches that made the wedding beautiful.

Dan was the perfect DJ for us. When we interviewed him, he went into a lot of depth into figuring out the type of wedding we wanted and how he could make it a great night. He asked us what type of music we like and don't like and tailored our wedding music to our musical preferences and our guests.He knew how to transition the music from dinner to dancing when both the younger and older guests were there and then at the end of the night it was all modern fun dance songs. Everyone complimented the music and everyone had a great time. He was also a great MC, helped set up our projection screen for our slideshow and did our lighting.

If we ever need to throw a big party again, we would definitely choose Dan again.

My husband and I got married just a few weeks ago and were absolutely thrilled with Premier DJ Services. We had Dan DJ the music for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception, all of which he did perfectly and didn't miss a beat.

We had previously met with Dan to go over our music styles, preferences, etc. Not only did Dan listen and play specific songs we had requested, but he went above and beyond in taking what he knew about us a couple and playing music which matched our style and our guests styles. All of our guests danced from the beginning to the end of the reception!

We had several wedding guests come up to us both during the wedding, at the after party as well as at the breakfast the next morning and tell us what an awesome DJ we had and how much they loved the music.

We were so lucky to have Dan as our wedding DJ! Originally we were unsure of whether to go with a band or a DJ, and we are 110% happy with our choice to hire Dan. From day one, he was attentive and enthusiastic about our wedding. He spent a good deal of time getting to know us personally, our taste in music, and our expectations for the wedding. He offered us the perfect balance of quality professional experience, while still understanding our individual needs/ requests. Not to mention, he truly made the wedding into an incredible party. Dan was our DJ for both the ceremony and reception at our wedding. We met him once and knew right away that he would be the perfect vendor for our wedding. He was professional, enthusiastic and flexible and offered suggestions for music, he even gave us other suggestions and tips for other details for our wedding. We were so happy to hear that he has recently started offering lighting. He added uplights to our barn wedding and made the space look elegant.

Dan made sure we were on schedule for everything and that everything was smooth from playing the ceremony music, to announcements to the dance music at the end of the night. He made announcements as needed in a very professional and soft tone.

We let him choose our music, and were happy with all his selections for the cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing. He was also professional and prompt, having the setup ready when we arrived. Most importantly the sound level of the music was perfect from start to finish, it was not so loud that our non-dancing guests felt disturbed, but those who wanted to be on the dance floor, the sound level was enough to keep the dancing going.

All in all, we would highly recommend Dan and Premier DJ!

Dan did an excellent job at our wedding! He was organized, well prepared, and kept the wedding reception going! He was very on point with music and most of all, he was very enthusiastic about his job! I would refer him to anyone! Dan and Premier DJ services is the best out there!

Premier DJ Services provided the music and audio for a friends wedding about a year ago, and we subsequently hired Premier DJ Services for our own wedding.

Dan was fun to work with, professional, and pulled everything off with aplomb, including the last minute dance hall change. He met with us twice before the wedding and happily accommodated our requests (mostly for do-not-play). When we didn't know what we wanted to play for specific songs or events during the wedding, Dan gave us recommendations which worked out great. Most importantly, everyone had a great time on the dance floor, our friends and our family, from the young kids to their grandparents.

We had a great wedding, and Dan's attitude and DJ aptitude made it that much easier for us to enjoy the night.

I can't find enough good things to say about Dan at Premier DJ Services. He is unbelievably easy to work with, priced reasonably and great at what he does. From the day we signed him until our wedding day, he was very responsive and flexible offering great suggestions and advice when we seemed a bit frazzled. Our dance floor was packed the entire night by guests of all ages. Even when it seemed like the party might die down a bit, Dan brought it raging back with great music and some personality.

My wife and I never really had "our song". So when it came time to pick one to dance to, we were genuinely clueless and embarrassed. We emailed Dan with our dilemma and he got back to us shortly thereafter with a few songs that aren't used much, but he thought they suited us. Would you know it... we now have a song. He absolutely nailed it and everyone at the wedding loved it. More importantly, so did we.

Dan is also very generous and flexible. The day before our wedding, we found out that our officiant would need a microphone because he's too soft spoken for the venue. All it took was one email to Dan and everything was taken care of... and somehow me managed to hide the speakers in the bushes. People were literally looking around trying to find out where the sound was coming from. It was awesome.

USE HIS UPLIGHTING. It literally made the room. Our colors were black, white and apple green. Dan put green lights all around the room to shine up on our tent. It looked beautiful. I honestly can't imagine what it would have looked like if we didn't use the uplighting. And from talking other vendors, his prices are super cheap. He'll definitely offer you a bargain to make your big day even better.

We couldn't be happier with Premier DJ Services. If we had it to do all over again, Dan would be one of the first people we'd call. Very highly recommended.

Premier DJ Services and Dan the DJ were amazing. From our first meeting we had with Dan we were sold, in fact we didn’t even meet with other DJ’s we were so impressed! We met a few times and communicated over e-mail so he knew what we were looking for music wise for our reception. He was great with offering suggestions, and helped us develop a timeline for our events at the reception. But most importantly he ROCKED! The dance floor was packed all night and the energy was Phenomenal! It was obvious that Dan was enjoying himself because he has a love for music and entertaining and this rubbed off on the party. I could not recommend this company any higher and Dan was a big part of why our reception was so much fun and so special. Thanks!

We met with one other DJ before we met with Dan from Premier DJ Services. We knew immediately that Dan was the one for us. Dan wasn't just our DJ and lighting guy. He helped organize our families that otherwise would have wandered off. Dan has an awesome presence in front of the mic and his quick wit made all our guests comfortable and everyone had a great time.

We had a non-traditional wedding and Dan did not blink when we told him that we wanted to have games at wedding, similar to traditional Asian weddings. Dan gave really great suggestions, not only music-wise, but also for the timeline and flow of the event and did not hesitate to do anything we asked him to. Dan was always reachable on email and super responsive. He met with us three times before the wedding, all at a time and location of our choosing. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dan and Premier DJ Services to anyone.

DJ Dan (from Premier DJ Services) provided the so much flexibility for us especially with HURRICANE IRENE in Princeton, New Jersey!

Dan was available to meet with us at our convenience, in date, time and location in preparation for our big day. He provided some ideas but he was not so pushy or bossy about what music selection we should use or when to use it. He is available by phone and email, and responds quickly!!! We do not reside in the same region as Dan, but we were able to communicate well by email that we had our contract signed through his convenient e-sign contract.

If you want to hear about flexibility, Dan provided DJ services for TWO WEDDING EVENTS! We had a cultural wedding where he played cultural music provided by my family, and then a traditional/legal wedding where he performed the ceremony and the reception. I couldn't be any happier because he worked so well with our event coordinator at our wedding venue and with the music, he picked out the best parts of the song for bridal party entrances in the reception! He could switch gears from one wedding to the other!

If you want to hear about even more flexibility, our wedding was supposed to be outdoors and with Hurricane Irene, there was a chance of cancellation due to the state emergency. We ended up having it indoors and Dan was able to move his gear from the ceremony to the reception quietly, without damage and ready for our cocktail hour in another building!

We really enjoyed his spunkiness and his personality is so cheerful! He's very engaging with the guests and plays every genre of music possible (upon your request, of course).

We really wanted classical music for our ceremony, and by providing him with the list of songs (and type: piano vs. string, etc.). The music was not too soft or too loud in the ceremony.

During the cocktail hour, the music was so soft and it wasn't irritable! We didn't have to pick out the songs, but we could've. We saw him at another wedding and thought, WOW! so we had to go with him. Anyway, the cocktail hour music selection was superb. He selected soft music and again, it was neither too soft or too loud.

The reception was a ball! His tone in voice was excellent when introducing the bridal party and on a side note, his pronunciation was awesome! He didn't butcher anyone's names.

For dancing, he has a great rhythm! The music genre and the music era that he played were done well. He didn't jump from a pop song from today to an 80s song! With the people we had that challenged the hurricane, everyone was dancing the night away!

I don't want to exclude any the guys that assisted him. John (or Johnny) Olesak and Matt Hastings! They helped Dan with the set up and clean up! Our wedding vendor were trying to kick us out due to the Hurricane AND a tornado that was an hour West of the wedding, where Johnny and Matt quickly cleaned up and packed up the car. It's not a one-man show for Premier DJ Services. Johnny and Matt provided their own personalities that really got the people out on the dance floor! They both present themselves well and do not dress like slobs. I heard that both Johnny and Matt have started to DJ and I'd recommend them. They've worked with Dan that they would provide the same quality as DJ Dan!

Overall, my husband and I have seen him at a number of weddings and thought, "Hey, he's really good!" Dan presents himself well. We've seen grungy DJs that come in t-shirts and have a busted up beard, but Dan... he's incredible! Out of all the things to go wrong during a hurricane, Dan made it up from his location in Virginia up the East Coast (in the same direction as Hurricane Irene). I'd recommend Premier DJ Services to everyone!

Premier DJ Services did an amazing job for our wedding. They provided music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. They had such a good grasp on what my (now) husband and I wanted. They made all the decisions on our music based on our pre-wedding meetings and everyone had a blast. Our weddings was definitely one where everyone danced. I thank Premier for making the music part of my wedding so easy and for also making my wedding so much fun!!

DJ Dan Huynh is amazing! Very professional, very nice, helpful, and accommodating to every thing my husband and I wanted. Every single song was perfect! The dance floor was alive and all of our guest were up! Song requests are checked with you first, just in case you dont like that song :-) Which came in handy... my husband hates Gaga. Dan made sure none was played :-) I will be recommending him to ALL of my friends. He is the way to go!!!

Dan was the DJ for our wedding in May 2011 in Washington D.C. and words can not decribe the amazing job he did. We met with Dan before the wedding and he was so easy to work with. He took our vision and rolled with it to plan an amazing event. Even our other vendors we used had nothing but good things to say.

He provided music for our cocktail hour and reception and was a one stop shop for eveything we needed. The music was amazing all night for our crowd. He played a great mix during dinner and MC'ed our entrance and events during the reception. We had a good mix of young and old and he played the right mix so everyone enjoyed the night. He even broke out some break dance entertainment for our guests.

Overall Dan provided a great night of fun and dancing. He was a very personable and interacted with all our guests with the utmost professionalism. I would recommend Dan to everyone.

Dan did an AMAZING job at our wedding. My wife and I have always disliked too-loud music at weddings, and when Dan did my friends the volume was perfect (my friend recommended him to me as well). We met with him twice before the wedding, and he was very responsive and helpful with the planning and music. I never felt like I had to worry about anything he was taking care of. In addition, on the night of the reception, everyone was having such a good time that a few people asked him to stay another hour. He was totally willing and took payment on the spot. I would recommend Dan to anyone.

Dan was fantastic. I was concerned because our taste in music was quite specific. I emailed him very specific songs for almost a year and he was very responsive about how he felt our selection would influence our family and friends. His music tastes are broad and he has a special ear for genres and periods of music. He is not egotistical at all but very professional. My family was very impressed with his ability to adapt and enhance the organization of our wedding day. He was not just a DJ but an emcee. His equipment is state of the art and he will provide for you exactly what it is that you ask of him. Our wedding was geared towards 70's soul and 90's R&B. There were individuals at the wedding however (my father in-law) who demanded "Rocky top", Sinatra and of course my bride wanted some Rihanna. Dan blended them all together so that no one felt awkward and everyone had a great time. Well worth every penny. I was thinking of doing the music myself or having a family member do it. Thank God I chose Dan.

We loved Dan. He was so attentive and really just wanted to make sure he gave us exactly what we asked for. He even sent us a few different playlists to make sure we were on the same page.

DEFINITELY affordable, especially for the quality of service. Our dance floor was crazy the entire night. He did our ceremony perfect as well, and we had a few obscure and tricky tasks, and he pulled them off without a hitch.

Asking Dan to be our DJ was one of the easiest and best decisions we could have made in the wedding planning process. Dan was a pleasure to work with, from the time we first met, through to the very end of the wedding. He was extremely responsive during the planning process.

We chose not to give Dan a "must" or "don't" play list, and instead just let him do what he does best! True to his word, he kept the dance floor packed all night, and there wasn't a single person who didn't spend some time on the dance floor. We got so many compliments on how much fun our guests had at our wedding, and I think that is largely attributable to Dan. When Dan announced the last song, our guests boo'ed!

I cannot say enough good things about Dan. Dan was the DJ for our wedding in November 2010 and he did an amazing job. The dance floor was packed the entire night and guests are still talking about how good the music was (four months later!) If you want a DJ that is young, hip, a ton of fun and someone that can really get the crowd moving, then you need to book Dan.

Dan was so easy to work with. We met with Dan twice before the wedding to discuss our vision for the big day. Dan was really helpful when it came to setting a time table for the reception. He is very experienced and had great suggestions for when to cut the cake, have our first dance, have the father-daughter/mother-son dance so that we were not jumping from one thing to the next, but that everything was nicely spaced out and the flow made sense. As much as I wanted to micro-manage the music for the wedding, I made the wise decision to let Dan handle it. He is the professional, after all and things could not have worked out better. I did give Dan a do-not-play list, which he honored, and a must-play list which included the handful of slow songs that we wanted and a couple of other favorites.

The night itself went so smoothly. Dan kept us on schedule, took care of the introductions and played great music. The dinner music was tasteful, but not boring (no elevator music) and he made a seamless transition into the dance party. My husband and I had a blast, our family and friends had a blast, and we have Dan to thank for an amazing evening that we will never forget.

We had the most positive experience with Dan from start to finish. We were planning a wedding in VA from Ireland and had small windows of time when we could talk or meet in person and Dan was so accommodating. In the final weeks of preparation some of my old friends offered to play guitar at the ceremony and Dan took care of all of the technical arrangements for us. I also realised that the hotel where we were getting married didn't provide sound for the ceremony, and again Dan came to the rescue. Once the reception started our dance floor was packed from beginning to end. His choice of song and order played kept people out on the floor all night long. He also kept me aware of when we were going off schedule and when we needed to hurry things along. Our wedding was the best night of our lives and I can honestly say that having Dan as our DJ made the night incredibly special. I would recommend him wholeheartedly!

DAN IS THE BEST!!!!! He was absolutely fantastic. He knew just how to get the party started. Everyone loved him. He met with me a few times and checked in with me to see if I needed anything. Christian Felan of Premier DJs was AWESOME!! I received so much positive feedback from my guests, many of which never left the dance floor:) He played hit after hit, all of my requests as well as my guests requests. We had a phenomenal experience with Premier DJ Services! Our DJ was very flexible with what we wanted and was awesome at moving the wedding ceremony and reception along with no glitches! Dan played our wedding in September in Old Town. Finding him in the first place was an unparalleled stroke of luck--another DJ had backed out on us just a few months before the wedding and after a long search, we were referred to Dan. He met with us right away, and we sat for a long time chatting about weddings, music, and many other things. We clicked right away. His love for music and passion for putting on a great party was evident right from the start. He immediately showed his great musical taste and knowledge of exactly what gets your guests out on the dance floor ready to party.

We had a number of meetings, even via Skype, to settle our playlist and other elements of our wedding. He played an integral role in the entire night, beginning with the prelude and the music during the ceremony, moving outside for a cocktail hour, and then seamlessly coming back in to get everyone seated, eating, and most importantly, out on the dance floor for the rest of the night.

He had amazing suggestions that truly impressed our guests--other vendors actually asked us for our playlist, which is quite the compliment for people that are involved in more than their fair share of weddings. But the best part of all is that once he got people out on the dance floor he put together a set that people literally couldn't stop dancing to. The floor was packed all the way until the final song.

But to get down to it, he was a consummate professional, worked hard to make our night exactly how we wanted it, wasn't afraid to offer helpful suggestions and steer us the right direction, and kept our guests happy without caving into inappropriate requests or songs that would kill the vibe. We loved working with him and have already referred him to a few friends with upcoming events.

Dan DJed our wedding over Labor Day weekend and did a fantastic job. He was extremely helpful prior to the wedding in using his experience to guide us with the timing and structure of the reception as well as music selections. Dan was very professional and he had a deep and diverse selection of music. He kept the party going and there were never any awkward moments. Dan was even nice enough to play some Cha Cha selections for our mother/mother-in-law even though they didn't fit the flow (it's always good to keep the moms happy!).

Dan DJ'd our wedding in August and did a FANTASTIC job. Prior to the wedding, he was tremendously helpful, providing numerous suggestions and recommendations (songs, timing, schedule, etc.) based on his experience. He always responded to my questions quickly, going above and beyond what was expected. During the reception, Dan rocked the house - his music selection was awesome. The night was a whirlwind, but I remember thinking how much I wanted to go dance with each song that came on. I would highly recommend Dan. He is incredibly professional, very personable and your guests will have a great time!

It was such a pleasure to work with Dan Huynh on our wedding. My husband and I are both huge music lovers, and it was important for us to find someone who loved music as much as we did, and Dan definitely met that criteria. He was easy to work with leading up to the big day, and kept the party going all night long at our reception. He really listened to our needs and requests for the big day and met them all. He genuinely seemed to enjoy his job, and his enthusiasm was infectious. I'd recommend him highly.

Overall, Premier DJ Services was phenomenal! From start to finish, Dan was amazing! The reception was so much fun! He totally made the party! He had all our guests on the dance floor by the end of the evening - including the super conservative first generation Koreans! He even added to the dance floor by break-dancing for a bit which totally added to the energy of the evening. And he did this all with a smile on his face the entire night which made everyone more comfortable with him (so i was told by many of my guests).

We received so many compliments on the music, from the cocktail hour, dinner music and of course the dance music! He really got to know us and figured out what we wanted to hear when. Many of the comments i heard was the music choice was awesome. i left most of the song choices to Dan and he totally delivered.

Dan was very professional and well-spoken but laid back and easy going. We were so impressed with him when we first met him, we chose him immediately. He met with us several times to make sure he got to know us and understand our preferences. This was wonderful because there's so much uncertainty when picking a DJ and the more we met with him, the more comfortable we were with our choice. Dan went above and beyond to make sure our day went well. He even provided the music used for the ceremony for us - on 2 CD's.

BEST.DJ.EVER!!! Dan was accommodating from the very beginning. He was able to create the party atmosphere that we wanted for our reception and all our guests commented on what a great job he did. Would definitely recommend him for your event!!!

Premiere DJ services was awesome! Dan met with us twice before the wedding to go over details, create a time line and make sure that the playlist would reflect what we wanted. My wedding coordinator was SO impressed with how professional Dan was and prepared. When I looked over and saw my conservative parents holding hands and jumping to "I've Got a Feeling" by Black Eyed Peas... I knew we had got it right. So worth every penny.

Premier DJ services exceeded all of our expectations. The DJ's at our wedding were able to read the crowd and play exactly what everyone wanted to hear. We couldn't have been happier!

Out of a group of great vendors we hired for our wedding, Dan definitely stood out. Before the wedding, he could not have been more accommodating to our requests and responsive to our concerns. He was always professional and understanding if we had to change a meeting time or something like that. And when we did meet, he was extraordinarily patient and did not rush through our meetings. He really did help us achieve the vision we had for our wedding, from dinner on through the end of the party.

During the event, Dan played a great mix of music and had everybody -- even my 90 year-old grandmother out on the dance floor having a good time. Problems will inevitably arise through the course of the party, but Dan handled each problem seamlessly like a pro so that the guests didn't even know there had been a problem. And when we had special last minute requests, Dan accommodated those as well.

At least when we hired him, Dan's pricing was a bit below market, but his performance was way above market. The week before our wedding, we went to another wedding where the bride and groom had paid a lot of money for their DJ who turned out to be terrible. So Dan gets high marks on the value for cost scale.

Bottom line: Dan's work created a great party and he comes highly recommended.

Before I get into the meat of the review you need to understand something about our wedding/reception....things went wrong. Not wrong like I wore the wrong kind of shoes. But more so like the cocktail hour location was changed last minute, the power went out at the reception hall and we were running on a generator, and a bridesmaid went to the ER.

With all that said, I have not talked to anyone that was at the wedding that said they didn't have the time of their life! Simply put, Dan Huynh rocked the party. Dan played all the right music at just the right times to make everyone get up and dance! As you can imagine, he also worked well with the catering staff to make sure the guests saw minimal disruptions.

He was super responsive to our music requests both in the planning process and during the event and how we wanted the flow of the evening to go. He provided great insight as to how things would best flow given the timetable we were trying to work within. It was quite obvious that Dan has the experience to cater to the music needs of any cultural requirement as we had a large number of Cambodian guests.

If you want to work with an absolute top shelf professional who is experienced and and willing to bend over backwards for you - work with Dan Huynh and the team at Premier DJ Services.

I cannot say enough nice things about Premier DJ Services! After interviewing a long and disappointing list of DJ's in this area, Dan was SO refreshing and my husband and I were thrilled to have finally found exactly what we had been searching for! Our wedding reception was AMAZING in great part to Dan and his professionalism, fabulous personality and attention to detail. This guy REALLY knows his stuff! We really enjoyed working with Dan of Premier DJ Services. He was extremely responsive when we had questions, comments or ideas about our wedding. We met with Dan on two different occassions to prepare for our wedding and on both it was a pleasure. Dan has such a great personality, it was really great to have someone that we liked so much as the DJ for our wedding.

Dan provided the music for our wedding and reception. He provided a wireless lapel microphone for our officiant, a wireless microphone and stand for our reader, and a second outdoor system for our ceremony. Many DJs tack on added costs for the use of their equipment but Premier DJ services had an extremely reasonable hourly flat rate for DJ time and all equipment. I don't know about sounds systems, but I will say the music had a good sound, the equipment was modern, streamlined and compact.

Dan looked great in a stylish black suit when he appeared for our event. He was extremely poised and well-spoken.

On the morning of our evening wedding, Dan had an equipment failure. Early in the day, upon learning of the problem, Dan contacted us to explain the situation--he always did a great job keeping me informed. Despite the problem, Dan assured me that everything would be o.k. and that he would take care the situation. I appreciated the fact that Dan contacted us to explain the situation in advance. Dan did whatever it took to take care of us and in the end, his services at our wedding were seamless.

I would recommend Premier DJ Services - Dan - to anyone that needed a DJ for their wedding or any other event. It was very nice to know who we were dealing with from beginning to end.

Dan was a great DJ! He took the time to meet with us a couple times prior to the wedding to get to know our likes and dislikes and to plan out the reception. He was able to take our suggestions and ideas and turn them into a playlist that really worked for the night. He was great at changing genres quickly depending on the mood and requests. We would highly recommend him!

Dan was extremely easy to work with. He was flexible, easy going, and responsive. He worked with my husband's desire to put together an extensive play list and was able to work a lot of the songs we wanted to hear played into his set at our reception. Dan did our ceremony as well, and just rolled with us when it started to rain and we had to move everything inside. He respected our Do Not Play List and didn't seem fazed at all when we had some last minute changes to the introduction of our parents and bridal party. The best part was that he really kept the party moving...the dance floor was full and I loved the way he had the music progress from classic older stuff, into 80s songs, and then on to current stuff. I really liked that he was able to accomodate last minute changes and adjustments and was so relaxed about everything. I feel Dan's service was a lot more personal than what you would get with alarge DJ company. Plus, because he's close in age to my husband and I, he really understood what kind of crowd we had and what music they would want to hear. I would highly recommend Dan and Premier DJ Services!

Dan was very helpful and knowledgable not only with the music, but also with other ideas for the reception. He was very flexable with the music we wanted to play. Dan also did a good job getting our guests up and dancing.

I was impressed how much time and effort Dan put into our wedding. We went through all the details of the wedding, which helps him to tailor the music to the event. I was amazed that he took the time to go through a lot of song titles with me so that he could get an idea of my taste in music. He was extremely easy to work with, and when the wedding day arrived, I felt like I was discussing last minute wedding details to a good friend instead of a vendor. He really went the extra mile to make sure that I felt completely comfortable about the music selection. His playlist was incredible, and he had my guests dancing all night! My wedding guests loved him so much and were having such a good time, that they kept requesting him to keep playing even after he announced the last song.

DJ Dan isa proffessional whom I would reccomend for any celebration. He played the music I wanted to hear and was very organized and thoughtful.

Leading up to the wedding, Dan met with us on several occasions to review the songs we wanted to play. With such a large population of songs to choose from, Dan helped us by providing us popular songs from different genres. This was helpful as we had a lot of wedding planning to finalize. Although I put off the song list until the very end, Dan was patient, and was creative enough to extend the song list during the wedding day based on how well he knew me. He was even flexible with our desire to have a different song for each party attendant!

Prior to the wedding, Dan had set everything up and had a list of everyone's name and song ready for the annoucements into the reception. During the wedding, all of our guests complimented our DJ on the song selections, his professionalism, and amount of songs he had available. The DJ (and the cake) made the wedding a great time. Our guests were dancing the whole time, and for the extra hour that we extended the wedding.

Dan from Premier DJ Services was wonderful from start to finish. Extremely professional, and very helpful throughout the entire process. Really helped us plan and execute a great reception. Always available for us when we had questions or concerns. It would be hard to imagine our reception being so great without their DJing services. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE had a good time at our reception. Dan did a great job taking what we like, and our audience and making a wonderful mix that everyone danced too. Which let me tell you, was not easy. My family is latin american, and my wife's family listens to mostly classic rock. But Dan put together an evening where everyone danced and had a good time. Ever been to a reception when you are dancing, then all of the sudden a song comes on and you loose about half the dance floor? That NEVER happened. Dancing and partying was continuous and seamless, from start to finish. Highly recommend Premier DJ Services. Great quality for what you pay.

My bride and I were very worried about finding the perfect deejay for our event. Our reception was on a Sunday afternoon and we knew that we were running the risk of having an empty dance floor. We also knew the importance of finding a deejay who would set the proper tone for the party, without talking everyone's ears off. Dan perfectly fit everything that we were looking for.

From our initial consultation, Dan made sure he understood everything that we were looking for, down to every song on our do-not-play list. We were able to smoothly incorporate songs honoring both sets of parents along with other songs to which we had a personal attachment. He offered excellent suggestions for cake-cutting and garter toss songs. He was willing to change the first dance song with only 48 hours notice when my bride heard something better on the radio.

His flexibility and professionalism continued on the day of the event. When one of the groomsmen forgot to bring a cord to hook up a slide show presentation that he had made, Dan spent nearly an hour with him making sure that every detail was accurate. Very importantly for us was the fact that he realized that we hired him for his ability to choose music, not to hear him talk, and other than bridal party introductions and announcements for cake cutting, garter toss, etc, he let the music speak for itself.

Even with a Sunday afternoon reception with people going to work the next day, the dance floor was packed for two straight hours. Thank you, Dan, for creating a playlist for the day that encouraged everyone, from our 4 yr old ringbearer to a 91-year old grandmother, to get out on the dance floor.

Dan is awesome. Music was top priority with our reception and I was very worried about venturing out to find a great DJ. Dan came highly recommended from my friend who is a wedding planner. Dan met with my husband and I for about four hours when we first met and put us at complete ease. I knew after the meeting that we were going to Dan as our DJ.

At our wedding Dan was dressed professionally and did a wonderful job. I added a few songs at the last minute that guests had talked about during our rehearsal and Dan was totally understanding about adding some requests. He also did a wonderful of following my pretty long "no" list of songs. He had great suggestions for the bridal party's entrance into the reception and did a wonderful job announcing the necessary announcements. You wont have to worry about chatty or cheesy DJ remarks in between songs. Our guests chanted "one more song" when the last song ended and Dan fulfilled their request. He went above and beyond and made our reception a blast. The dance floor was packed and everyone had a great time dancing the night away. Thanks Dan!

Dan was fantastic! He made our wedding very wonderful and memorable and special. He met with us multiple times to make sure we had all the music we wanted, he was always friendly and helpful with suggestions and he made our wedding into the dance party we really wanted it to me. I cannot say enough about how great he was from the very first meeting all the way through the last dance. I highly recommend him and think everyone will have a great wedding if they use his services.

Dan served as DJ/MC for our September 4th wedding at Meadowlark and we couldn't have been more pleased with his work. He was a consumate professional from start to finish, emailing throughout the planning process to offer his assistance in any way possible. He spent considerable time talking through the type of event we were planning, our music likes/dislikes, and took everything we said to heart. Dan is definitely a rising star! He's very easy to work with and, although he's experienced, he's fairly new to the business. This makes him flexible and well priced. I would recommend him to anyone.

Friends had recommended Dan to us of Premier DJ Services, but he was unavailable. We were a little nervous at first because all of the great reviews we saw were about him, but Johnny was great! He had everyone dancing the whole night, even during an early dance set that we weren't sure would work. The whole party was going until the end, and everyone was sad when the music came to an end. Johnny worked with us, even with some more unusual request. He did a great job with the intro too on which we received many compliments. He checked in with us throughout the night and did a fantastic job. Also, Dan was on all the early correspondence and at the first meeting, just to help us feel comfortable. They even helped try to mix 2 songs for us for our first dance (even though we ended up just picking one). Thanks, Premier DJ Services!! I think other DJs may have similar pricing, which is the only reason I deducted a star, but not sure how good the others are. We felt comfortable with Dan and Johnny, so didn't really shop around.

Dan paid particular attention to maintaining the volume level of the music low enough to allow for conversation among our guests. I had no specification for music during dinner, and his selection of instrumental pieces was better than I could have come up with. He was conscientious of my 'yes,' 'no,' and 'maybe' tunes and certainly had a wide repertoire. I was impressed with his command of the technology, as well, when he sped up our ballad to a better dancing tempo, without distorting the song. Dan has an outgoing personality that perfectly suited emceeing our reception!

Overall, we were pleased with the DJ'ing during our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. The things we appreciated the most were Johnny and his team's attentiveness to us during the evening. Johnny served as the MC for the reception and confirmed name pronunciations with us beforehand as well as timing of specific events before they came up. During the latter part of the reception, we saw many of our guests out on the dance floor and that's exactly what we wanted. If there was one thing we would have changed, it would be the omission of some key songs on our request list. Acknowledging there's only so much time left after all the dances and toasts, etc., we still wished more of the Irish songs and songs we had indicated as "must play" were actually played. Again, everyone had a great time, so it worked out. Thank you for being part of our special day!

We had a bit of a roller coaster experience with Premier DJ Services but overall were very happy with the DJ we had on the day of our wedding, Christian, and the great selection of music!
The issues we had were mostly due to unforseen and almost unavoidable circumstances. We originally booked with Dan, who then had to give us his back-up, Ray, due to a conflict with a family member's wedding. That was slightly annoying but understandable, he needed to be at his sister's wedding! Everything was fine until 2 weeks before the wedding when Ray e-mailed to let us know that he would not be able to do our wedding and was sending his back-up, Christian. This was a bit much to handle so close to the wedding. I feel like Ray could've let us know much earlier about this work conflict he was having. However, we really liked Christian and he did a phenomenal job! In the end, we ended up with the DJ that was best for us and did a great job. He wasn't cheesy, kept it classy and played great music! What more can you ask for?

We recently worked with Premier DJ Services at a wedding at the Mount Vernon Inn. Dan and his associate kept the crowd moving all night long with a wide variety of musical delights. They had state of the art equipment and excellent transitions between songs; not once was the dance floor empty. They also were easy to work with in coordinating the evening's events and making sure everyone was in the right place at the right time.
