Jim is an outstanding DJ. He is extremely organized, easy to work with, and talented. I received many comments from guests on what a great job he did at our wedding. It was so easy to use his website to select exactly what we wanted. Everyone had a wonderful time at our wedding, and Jim was a big part of that. He is GREAT and both my husband and I absolutely recommend him 100%!

Jim was amazing, from the first time we spoke right up until our wedding day. He always responded to my emails promptly.
Not a single song on my " Do Not Play" list was played, even though one was requested. I could not possibly make a do not play list long enough. I wanted to make sure there eas nothing with any type of explicit lyrics in front of my little nieces. So in addition to a do not play list i had a whole catagory of music I didn't want to hear.
Hurricane Sandy kept 2 bridesmaids and 1 groomsman from getting from NY to Me for our wedding. I had no chance to tell Jim until we arrived at the reception venue. This meant redoing our entire formal introduction list. And with 2 minutes notice, the introductions were perfect!

We could not have been happier with our selection of Jim as the DJ for our wedding! We are from New York and had our wedding in Boothbay, so everything had to be planned remotely. Jim was terrific at communicating with us and worked with us to figure out all the details for both the ceremony and reception. He gave us as much choice as we wanted with our music selections and stuck to our playlist very carefully. The dancefloor was packed all night long and we couldn't have done it without Jim. Jim and Maine's Premier DJ was just great! I had just begun my search on DJs and checked out his website. A few days later I got an unexpected phone call from him (because I had done the instant quote section on his site.) I was planning my Maine wedding from Alaska and he basically came to me! He said he wouldn't really do the "Chicken Dance" and "Macarena" unless asked, and I said PERFECT! (He wasn't asked.) We talked for a little while and he seemed great! That showed me he was really into his business and really driven. We met about 4 days before my wedding for the first time to plan everything and it wasn't very hard at all. He did most of the work for me and the day of my wedding, everything turned out great. I hadn't really requested many songs to be played. I let him do what he usually does and it was perfect. He is a great DJ and you won't be let down!

I would highly recommend Jim as a Dj for anyone's wedding. He was very professional and easy to work with. The music played at our wedding was just as we wanted it. We couldn't have asked for anything better. The dance floor was rockin all night long. The playlist and mcing was perfect! Jim also did uplighting for our wedding which came out awesome and made the room even more special. I couldn't have asked for a better day. If you want a Dj that will listen to you and help plan the day so it goes smooth, Jim is your Dj!

Jim Smith is a blast to work with! He is very nice and very professional, and he definitely knows how to DJ! He did such a great job at our wedding. The entire night went off without a hitch! His equipment is excellent, the music and MCing sounded great, and we all had a blast!!!

Our DJ, Jim Smith, was great! He was incredibly personable and easy to talk with before the wedding and offered great advice and guidance in planning the reception. At the reception we didn't have to think about anything. He led us right through all the introductions, special dances, toasts, etc. We had a great time and highly recommend Jim!

Jim was amazing!!!! We hired Jim on short notice. His website was a valuable tool in order for us to get this part of the wedding planned. Once we met with Jim we knew it was a perfect match. He was upbeat, excited, knowledgeable, willing to make suggestion as well as take ideas. He wanted it to be our special day. On the day of the wedding, Jim was set up and ready to go well before the agreed upon time. He was prepared to step in if our wedding musicians were unavailable. During the reception he was professional, friendly with all, and made the day perfect. We would recommend him to anyone.

Jim was absolutely amazing! I'm not afraid to say that Nate and I had a unique vision for our wedding, what with custom intros and crazy theme music. Jim, however, jumped right on board and made the day absolutely wonderful! He made the day that much more special! I am still hearing from our guests about how wonderful they thought the music, lighting, and just the overall professionalism Premier Entertainment brought to our day. Jim was very professional and respectful of all our wedding day wishes. He understood what we were looking for and provided exactly that on our wedding day; the music was everything that my husband and I wanted. He really knows his music and we could tell that he truly enjoys being a DJ. Jim’s expertise, professionalism and flexibility are all attributes brides-to-be look for in a vendor; I would highly recommend his services.

Jim was an absolute god send for our wedding. All our dealings with jim prior to the wedding were fantasitic; very professional, yet very personal. He knew all the areas of hosting a wedding reception that would get complicated, most that we didn't think of, and with his guidance our wedding went off without a hitch. He had extensive knowledge of music, and the right styles of music to play during the different phases of the weddign. He was very willing to work around the constraints of our wedding as it wasn't a conventional wedding; but was held half way up a ski mountain that required him getting "catted" up with his equipment. He truly went the extra mile to make our wedding the event of a lifetime.
He worked incredibly well with the venue and minister, was truly a team player for the event. And his pricing was very reasonable. I have nothing but great things to say about Jim, and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a dj for their wedding.

All we wanted at our wedding was for everyone to be up and dancing and just having a blast. Jim was absolutely amazing and had all 184 of our guests up on the dance floor. Jim was great. He is very attentive in the weeks prior to the event as well as the event itself. He did a great job keeping everyone on the dance floor all night. We couldn't have been mote pleased with Jim.
