Printable Press

Our invitations from Printable Press were simply stunning. I got so many compliments on them! They were super easy to work with and I'm so happy with how they turned out.

Printable Press was the perfect option for our wedding invitations. They offer many different invitation designs which you can customize. They send you proofs of the invitation for your review and approval and then a PDF file that you can print at home, have printed at a copy shop, etc. This saved us so much money! We bought the supplies (paper, envelopes, etc.) from a paper warehouse, had Printable Press create the design, and printed our invitations at home. We then just had them cut to size at Staples ($8 total for 100 invitations, reply cards, directions cards, and instruction cards).

They have beautiful designs and many options (everything from classic to quirky) and will work with you to make the invitation exactly what you want. And, if you're not comfortable with printing it yourself, they now offer printed invitations as...

We purchased the Swallow and Bee invitation and RSVP. The person that we worked with, Gen, was very professional and timely, and the time between the date of purchase and the date of sending them out was only one week!
Breakdown of the cost: Printable Press charged $114 for the PDF's. On top of that, for 150 invitations and 150 RSVPs (plus extra paper, stamps and envelopes), we spent about $70 on 92 lb ivory matte paper and envelopes (Cards and Pockets, 200ct. of paper, 150ct. of envelopes), $55 on printing (Kinko's) and $88 on stamps (200 ct.). Total came to about $370 for 150 invitations/RSVPs.
One warning about using Kinko's: The first set of invitations that we printed came out smudged and washed-out looking. When we asked the manager about it, he told us that because of the heavy paper we were using, we needed to adjust the printer so that it wouldn't print so fast, allowing the ink to set. Once we did this, they came out perfectly (no smudges, and a wonderful vibrant color). The first sales associate didn't tell us anything about this, so be careful to ask specifically about the weight of paper you're using and the print settings.

A Printable Press was very easy to work with. My husband and I chose one of the designs featured on their website and purchased the invitation and the RSVP. Within a day, a Printable Press rep had emailed us to double-check our wording and information, sent us an invoice, and explained the process. I still had a few questions about printing, which he promptly answered. He sent us a couple of rough drafts just to make sure we were getting what we wanted, and within a week we had pdf files of our invitations and RSVP's. I ordered 85lb paper in bulk online (PaperSource) and we printed them off at Kinkos. Easy as pie and they turned out beautiful. We received many compliments.

Our wedding had a modern, Mexican fiesta theme, and Printable Press' Amor design fit our theme and style perfectly. Printable Press provided the designs to us quickly, and their high-quality PDF and guidelines made printing and cutting our postcard save-the-dates and invites efficient. We were very happy with the designs and the overall experience. We would definitely recommend Printable Press to a couple who want simple, modern and/or DIY wedding --and don't want to spend a lot of money on invitations!

We got beautiful invitations from A Printable Press, with a vintage feel. They do only design - you need to get them printed somewhere else. They give you the pdf to print yourself, or to send to a printerThey were quick and responsive. We did not print the pdfs ourselves, but sent them to a recommended printer, Mercurio Brothers (note! check where your printer is located - I mistakenly chose one in California, and I live in New York. Therefore, shipping was more than it needed to be, and it took a week for them to ship).
Our Printable Press thankyous had a vintage tandem bike on them - really cute. Only problem was there were so many good design choices, it was a tough choice!

Printable Press has the most beautiful invitation designs, terrific customer service, and because of them we had gorgeous invitations at an affordable price. It was so easy to customize the invitation in the way we wanted, and Printable Press was incredibly responsive to all of our questions. The turn-around was very fast, so the overall experience was really easy and enjoyable.

I'm so happy that I used A Printable Press for our wedding invitations. The process was so easy and I loved being able to find a modern looking invitation that we could tailor to our tastes. I got so many compliments on the final product and saved hundred of dollars compared to tradition invitations. Their recommendations on printing options were really helpful. They've just launched a party invitation line and would definitely use them in the future.

I loved all of their designs and felt like I had beautiful and unique invitations that perfectly matched my wedding theme. The 1/2 a star off for quality of service is being really picky. I was rushed for time so I didn't pay to look over the hard copy before purchasing - I just looked at the electronic version and loved it so much that I went ahead and ordered them. In retrospect I wish I had taken the time to get a sample since the contrast between some of the graphics and the background made it hard to tell what you were looking at (only at first glance).

It was an absolute delight to work with Kimi and her team at Printable Press. We had a custom design made (which is now available in their store), and the process was easy and fun. Printable Press customized the text and color for us very quickly. Everyone loved our invitations, and their services are very reasonably price. We absolutely recommend them!

I dealt with Carl at Printable Press. They were very prompt in getting back to me and in guiding me through the process. They were very flexible with changing the design and in charge the extra fees. They helped me find a really unique character to substitute for a letter in my last name and really helped make unique invitations. In the end, the invitations felt like our personalities and not some stuffy out-of-a-binder invitation that you've seen a thousand times. And they were super reasonably priced, which was a major factor! We took the design to an actual printer instead of an online place and were able to get invites, response postcards, thank you notes, and 2 sets of envelopes for the price that most people pay for just the invites.

I gave them less than perfect for "responsiveness" because they didn't tell me they would be out of the office ahead of time. There were no issues caused by this because they can turn designs around in no time, but it would have been nice to know and save myself the "Oh no!" moment!

We got lots of compliments on our invitations, including one guest who said it was the first invite he had received that was actually inviting! Wholeheartedly recommend Printable Press!

I love the designs printable press comes up with so much that the hardest part was narrowing down my choices. I aslo love the option to choose your own paper such as recycled, etc. and choose where to have it printed. Our invitations were gorgeous and recieved soooo many compliments and they were just over $3 each, including stamps.

I worked with Kimi on semi-custom invitations and programs, and the final results were perfect. Also, Printable Press is really timely and professional, two things some other presses aren't.

We got tons of compliments on our invitations, and would happily use them again.
